If people are on other sites or have found some sort of spiritual successor, or are working on one right now, please share. It would suck to have everyone disperse god knows where.

Yeah, I've lost any faith anyone is actively doing anything to keep the place alive anymore, but honestly, most of the people I've genuinely enjoyed RPing with are already long gone.

Sucks that my first character's story goes unfinished because of the site dying, but guess that's what I get for taking three years to do it.

No one has posted in an RP capacity in over a week. No one has posted in a moderator capacity in even longer, despite the number of topics in need of approval, even with two trial mods recently added.

No way, those KKGs are going to get a rework any day now, BUHLIEVE EET!!!

Anyways, that being out of the way, I've moved on, stopped RPing in general and started just writing, currently working on a fanfic where Ima just tell Mana's story without adaptations I had to make to fit the RPing standard, no characters or NPCs of US peeps are going to be used (except those that gave me permission or wanted it and let me know, you know who you are you wonderful bastards!).

So I guess that means that even if someone does make something new or finds a new joint, count me out, so far not RPing has worked out pretty well for me and there are very few reasons for things to change in the future, it's been fun guys, but I think it's time for me to do the "dispersing God knows where" now.

It's been weeks since we've seen staff do anything. They haven't at all reacted to this topic, which and I'm not saying this out of some sense of pride or whatever, seems like their last chance to get their shit together. My humble guess - if they can't even bother to say "Nah guys we're gonna keep the site running" or "Haha Chris gtfo", then we are truly doomed.

If the current staff doesn't want to continue, I guess one option would be to just let the site die. Another, would be to simply relinquish their powers and give it to some other people. It worked once before, and it might work again. All we need is for Adam to say "Okay fuckers, who wants to try to keep the site alive" and for him to proceed to give out some orders, directions and powers. But I guess the site dying doesn't warrant his or the current staff's attention.

Fuck I would be happy with a slightly tearful, sentimental-ass end-of-high-school like topic, where we have a cheesy pop-song playing and there is a powerpoint of the all the good memories Razz

When it was becoming clearer and clearer that my hiatus was going to be permanent I was so tempted to come and close the site, because as egotistic as it might sound I sort of knew this site would never be the same without me, not just because of me though but because there were certain people I kept on this site and almost every one of those people, other than Jodi has stopped logging in.

However, I also didn't think it was fair that this site I loved so much start and end with me when there were other people who cared and loved for it. If anybody is actually interested in keeping this forum going, as Chris suggests then please by reply in this topic. I have no problem allowing this place be an outlet for you going to do what you love, write and roleplay. If not, I'll work up a proper announcement and potentially lock the site.

Too little too late, Adam. There aren't nearly enough people even bothering to check back on the site anymore, and even if they would- what about an active staff, preventing it from happening again?

Almost nobody touched the sign-up at all- of them, Locket and Keos only offered when the site was in absolute critical state. Absolutely nobody wants to be a moderator anymore, and there's a mile-long list of former moderators who'd happily explain why.

There isn't anything left in this place that could be called a saving grace. There are scarce, scarce few people who would even consider returning. The cancer has metastasized; the mind is long gone.

Would it be possible for this site to go under a transformation. Start over, and try to push for something new. This site was a way for many people to express their alter egos and go into a world where they decide what path to take. This is something many people dreamed about but it was hard to accomplished without the right resources. Adam you should try once again, and I understand that people have their lives to worry about but in this site is where the real world begins and with determination we can be back to where we left off or even better.

A whole new story, with two different villages we have never tried with a story line that connected the two villages as rivals. Like the sun village vs the Moon village bother powerful villages that survived after a great meteor crashed and destroyed everything.

Idk but it is just an opinion but I am serious that we should give it our best efforts in bring back this site from the grave. If starting over is not a good idea then we should make this site easier for every one to use and enjoy.... Also for once someone to create virtual reality role play naruto...

If we can make a true AU (non-canon clans and such) then I think it is possible but again we would need a new system.
