| The house where the young Marcus Hatake lived was located at the Southern Streets of Kirigakure no Sato. He lived there with his parents, enjoying life while the two of them took care of him.
As a part of this streets, there was a large white building, with a cafe bar on its bottom. The building itself was not tall nor was it flashy. But, the bright colors of the cafe bar, which was a part of it, they were the things which attracted attention to this building. But, since the location of this cafe was at the Southern Streets, there was not so much attention to attract. Well, the fact that there were not so many people around the place, it was one of the reasons why in this building a young Mist Jounin found his home. He was a type of person who wanted to spend his free time alone, with a book and the smell of the ocean all around him. This building was the perfect place for that. The fact that the building was located near the ocean, it meant that all of the conditions were perfect.
The bright shine coming from the sun, slowly started to enter trough the window, into the room of an young man. The brightness of the sun soon reached the entire room, reaching even the bed where one person currently was. With the sunshine reaching his eyes, the young man opened his eyes, revealing a set of two blue eyes. The sunshine was reflected from them, making it seem that they were glowing in a incredible beauty.
After a few minutes, the young man was full awaken, looking around himself in order to find something. On, his desk, a pair of glasses were. Slowly and gently, he took them with his right hand, rising them from the table. Then, he placed them on his face, over his eyes and on his nose. Now, the sun did not bother him anymore, so he was ready to stand up. He quickly stud up, off his bed, leaving into the bathroom. With him, he took some clothes and a pair of ninja sandals.
After coming out of the bathroom, the man was fully dressed, with a pair of glasses still on his head. Slowly, his eyes adjusted to the sun which shined from the outside, so he was now able to see without the glasses. Slowly, he took them off with his right hand, placing them back on the table from which he took them. Then, with gentle and slow steps he left the bedroom, passing trough the bathroom and into the living room. There, the man had a large couch, with a table in front of it. After standing still on the same spot for a few moments, the man started to move again, going into the kitchen, which was a few meters away from the door which connected the apartment with the corridor, which led into the outside world.
From the kitchen, the man came out with an bottle of pure, white milk. Drinking and walking at the same time, he was taking a risk of an possible accident which would happen if he continued to be so careless. But, this man knew his entire apartment from top to bottom, so he did not make a wrong step anywhere. After reaching the couch, the man set on it, placing the milk on the desk in front of him. Then, he took the newspapers off the desk, holding them with both of his hands. With an slow motion he opened the first page, starting to read it. Interested into what was happening in the world outside his village, the man was reading the newspapers with a serious expression on his face.
And so, his day slowly started. It seemed that his parents were not home, so he was now free to do what ever did he wanted.

| A few moments passed, and the young man was still in the same position, doing the same thing as before. It seemed that he was quite interested into the newspapers and the articles which he was currently reading, due to the expression on his face. At the moment, Marcus had an quite serious look on his face, still calm and relaxed. The part of the newspapers which he was reading was about recent suicides which happened all over the Land of the Water, some even took place in the Village Hidden in the Mist. Shame that so many young people decided to do such an shameful act; thought the young man, as he was observing the statistic about this suicides. It seemed that most of the people who committed a suicide were Genin, at a quite young age.
Bothered with what he was reading in the newspapers, Marcus decided to stop reading them, so he may start his day with something more interesting. But, other than reading this newspapers, he had no other plans for today. Even so, doing nothing was better than reading about all sorts of bad news in the newspapers. It seemed as if journalists were only writing about the dark side of the humanity and the world around them. So far, nowhere has he seen a good news, or anything close to being a good news. The best news for today, the news from the cover, was a warning of an terrible storm coming to Village Hidden in the Mist. That was not something which people would like to read about in the newspapers, at least not this young shinobi.
Slowly and quietly, the young man closed the newspapers, gently placing them on the table in front of himself. As he was placing the newspapers on the desk with his left hand, at the same time, he grabbed the bottle of milk with his right hand. With a gentle grip he held the milk, while moving his hand upwards, placing the milk closer and closer to his mouth. When the bottle reached his mouth, the young man continued moving his right and dominant hand upwards, leaning the bottle so the milk could start to flow towards his mouth. After taking a few gulps of fresh milk, he moved his right hand downwards, stopping the flew of milk which was heading towards his mouth. Then, slowly and carefully, he returned the bottle of milk onto the table where it was before he picked it up.
Ding-Dong; the door bell ring with a gentle tune, indicating that someone was on the door. When the ears of the young Marcus heard the tone coming from his front door, the appearance on his face changed. He was confused, wandering who could it be at the doors, at this time of the day. Naturally, he was curious, so it was obvious that he was going to go check who it was. Quickly, the young man stud up, starting to walk towards the door. Since he was not sure who it was, the young man approached the doors with gentle and soundless steps. Before opening them, he took a look trough a small hole in the door, observing the other side of his front door.
When he looked trough the hole, Marcus saw a young shinobi at the door, so he decided to open them. With his right hand, he unlocked the door, by turning the keys in a clockwise motion. Then, he slowly opened the door, looking at the eyes of the man behind the door. The young man who was waiting for him to open had a smile on his face, holding a packet for the young Jounin. So, when Marcus opened the door, the young man spoke the following words: "Good Morning Marcus-sama, you have been requested to do the following mission." After saying that, he gave the packet to Marcus, disappearing in a cloud of smoke afterwards.
Now that he got the information about a mission he planed to take care of, Marcus finally had something to do for today. Since he was in a hurry to start with the mission, Marcus simply closed the door, locking it. Then, he placed the key into one of the pockets on his ninja outfit, so nobody else could enter his apartment while he was away. Then, with a slow paste the young jounin left the building where he lived, going into the village.
