| It was quite a lovely day in Kumogaure, such peacefulness and tranquility was quite rare this time around. Espicially with the increase of bandit activity in the village outskirts, such foolishness. It seems as though with the increase of Flash Force activity that the criminals would take a hint, but like Kuni's father use to say 'One stupid act leads to another'. But today atleast Kinu would take a step away from the madness and actually enjoy his youth. His father, a member of the Flash Force was on leave for that day, thus leaving Kinu by himself for the time being. He decided to spend his time at the Tea Shop down the street from his home and try out the new Jaded Dragon Tea that became so famous recently. It was without a doubt that this tea shop had become very popular in Kumogakure, thus would explain why it was so crowded.
Kinu was alone, sitting in a small wooden cubicle realizing is isolation from everyone else. His short cut blonde hair dwindled down his face from the cloudly breeze emitting from the window beside him. He sat at the very end of his seating row for room for anyone else who would like to join him, but to him that would seem highly unlikely. Infront of Kinu was a small white cup half way filled with Brown Tea, which was accompanied by a silver spoon beside it. He regretted not ordering the Jaded Tea like he would have wished, but he had other things to think about. Kinu took the spoon and slowly swirled the tea and looked into its funnel abyss. His cool green eyes became lost, as he rondevued about his next assignment.
"Maybe I shouldn't have came today." Kinu said with a driftful voice blanketed by monotone.
His bony tan fingers flicked the spoon inside the cup, causing the handle to slide around the cups rim in a few revolutions. His eyes swayed to the window and he watched the great sun hide behind the clouds once again. He was slightly dissapointed for the fact that Kumo almost never recieves sunlight, and his red shirt lost its radiance. Possibly a little agitated, Kinu flicked his finger once more which this time sent the spoon flying out of his along with tea droplets!
"Oh no! Sorry!" Kinu cried as he scooted down his seat to see if someone got hit.

| The look of innocent horror flooded Kinu's face as he scooted down the wooden chair. Slowly he leaned over as his viewpoint allowed him to see the aisle beside him. Holding the end of the table for balance, Kinu saw the droplets of tea on the wooden floor and no person in sight. Kuni sighed with relief as he followed the trail of droplets one by one. The last droplet of tea, stood at the foot of a mature husky man, the kind of man you wouldn't want to stare at in a bar. Kuni's eyes widened and after a long second he met the mans eyes, only to see his shirt stained by the tea. "Oh sht-" Kuni thought while dropping his jaw. The man had a long black beard and was dark skinned like many members of Kumogakure. He also appeared to be a Ninja seeing as how he had a headband on his right arm. Kuni hoped that he would spare mercy on him seeing as how he was in the military aswell. But, the man just smiled at Kuni and put his right hand up in peace. Kuni smiled back at the man and said sorry without uttering the word. Scooting back to the seat, Kuni decided to go to the front counter and request a menu to take home with him.
Kinu gently got up from his seat and stretched upon standing up straight. He wondered how long he was sitting there, dozing off while drinking cheap tea. Opening his eyes once again and he looked at the table to see if he needed to fix anything before leaving. Seeing more tea droplets on the table, Kuni took a cloth from the tray and wiped the droplets quickly. Balling up the tissue he proceeded down the aisle to be seen by his fellow Genin Ninja two rows down. They didn't notice Kinu, all four of them seemed to be enjoying each others company like the Academy. This saddened Kinu, he was very lonely in the village, only having his father and mother. He had no friends, in the Academy he kept to himself a lot and never bonded with anyone really. Maybe he was a bad communicator, but day by day hes learning how to talk to people more. Brushing off his misplaced feeling Kinu continued his way to the front.
Arriving at the counter, Kinu greeted the young Tea Master with a slight wave. "Hello... may I uhm, have a menu?" He asked bleakly. The lady in the counter gave a cheerful smile and walked over to the side of the wall. She casually took a menu from the tray on the wall and proceeded back to where she was standing. At that moment Kinu noticed how pretty she was compared to most girls in the village. She had long black hair and dark brown eyes, she reminded Kuni of his mother. But Kuni rolled his eyes at that thought, he still believed that girls hat cooties.
"Here you go young Genin!" She said while handing Kuni the paper. At that moment the voice was heard from behind the kitchen area. It sounded like a elderly man who sounded quite agitated. The woman had a shocked expression on her face and slowly turnned. Snapping back at Kuni, she gave a big wave and hurried back to the kitchen. Kuni waved back but by then she already entered the door. Kuni slowly turnned around, and proceeded out the main doors. He continued to go home from there, reading the different types of food from the menu.
"Ew what the heck is Toad Tea?" |
