Let us start with the description of the area where the following events will occur.

Deep in the Land of the Earth, somewhere near the Iwagakure no Sato, there was a extremely large waste field. To be more specific when it comes to its exact location I shall add that, this filed is located at the Souther part of the Land of Earth, a few miles from the border with the Grass Country. This field spread 3 miles in all directions from its center, so you could say that it was a circular shaped area. Across it, there were not trees or any sign of vegetation, except a few flowers which were hidden in the shadows of many tall boulders. This boulders were located all over the place, with a size which variated from one bolder to another. Some boulders were 3 meters tall, while other were only one meter tall. But, none of them were taller than three meters or smaller than one meter.

The weather in the area was sunny, with temperatures reaching all the way to 40°C during the day and -10°C during the night. A somewhat desert like weather. But, unlike deserts, this area had a water source. Through out its center a 3 meters wide river passed. This river had its origin in the Land of the Waterfall, from where it traveled trough this area, all the way to Iwagakure no Sato. Quite nice addition to the area, which made it easy for people and animals who passed by to refuel their water supplies. Not to mention, the water was so clean and cold, so it was perfect for taking a bath. Also, due to the fact that this river was so clean, it was full of fishes, so it was also a perfect food source.

Out of a sudden, the wind picked up on the East side of the field, creating a dust cloud, which reached up to 3 meters into the sky. In this cloud of dust, a mirage could be seen, an image of an young man. But, the full appearance of this man was not visible, only the shadow of his true looks. A few moments later, when the cloud of dust was carried away by another sudden gust of wind, his true look was revealed. The man who just entered the area was an Kirgakure shinobi, known as Marcus Hatake.

This young man wore a a blue sleeveless shirt and blue pants. Over his shirt there was a sleeveless coat, also in blue color. Well, everything what Marcus had on him was blue actually, his pants, his shirt, his eyes, his scarf and his hair. The only difference was what was lighter and what was darker. Well, his coat and pants were darker, while his scarf was lighter. As for his eyes and hair, well that is a little bit complicated. The eyes of the young Marcus were colored in a green-blue kind of color, while his hair was in a strange kind of blue color, even Marcus was not sure what kind of blue it was.

After he entered the area, the young man started looking around, trying to locate his target.

Ah the great out doors! Such a cheesy quote to say am I right? Well even if you disagree Iwagakure was a location that was far distant from a persons perspective of beauty. Vast fields of dirt and stone bare witnessed to the typhoons of sand which come and go as they please. The boulders on another hand was quite random for such a place, Kuni wondered where they had came from. Giving the history of Iwagakure the whole land mass should have been wiped flat, but as usual there's always something extra into the mix. The only explainable thing was the river which flowed a sufficient distance away from Kuni, which could be explained by the Waterfall Village neighboring the field. The great became darker with every hour that passed, indicating that maybe some storm will be present.

Kuni, the young Kumogakure Ninja, waited underground by the entrance of the dessert barren to prepare for an attack at his opponent. He sat in a small dome like structure a foot below the earth, sitting in a cradle like position but also in a position where he can gain a lot of momentum. He wore his trademark red over-sized shirt and his black sweatpants which he usually calls his attire. His body on the other hand, had underwent a powerful transformation to the second stage of his primal seal, giving primate like abilities as well as strength. Kuni felt the power rush threw his body but did not let that phase his position.

In a matter of seconds, the footsteps of a man became present above Kuni. Kuni smirked with joy that the universe would bless him with luck that would leave his opponent right where he wanted him. Licking his lips, Kuni activated his Strike of the Snake technique and utilized a few hand-signs. The sacred seal on his stomach began to glow and change while Kuni placed his hands in front of him. In a few moments a green ball of energy became present in Kuni's hands and the rock walls around him slowly deteriorated into shards. The shards then swarmed around the energy ball creating the Geosphere Orb. This was all subtlety done, leaving a definite chance that the person above ground had no idea what was coming to him.

With great motion, the Kuni launched his incredible attack above ground, with the intent of killing the unknown person. Kuni had many aspects that empowered this assault, leaving no chance in Kuni's mind that this person could avoid. First his second stage of his seal was activated, giving him incredible speed and power. Second, his Strike of the Snake technique further amplified the speed and accuracy of attack. And third, Kuni is a natural at speed, giving him a 20% speed increase. Being in the barren wasteland that they were in, it was nigh impossible for the opponent to substitute himself with something, and giving the blinding speed of the attack from right below him, it'll be too late for him to react.

OOC: I got the time to post, even though my absence is still on.

Sneak attacks, the most dishonorable thing that the world of shinobi invented. Those kinds of attack really were annoying, at least that is what Marcus thought. He hated fighting dishonorable by using such sneaky attacks and attacking enemies from behind. This man was a type of person who wanted a head on battle, with no holding back. That was the reason why he came to Iwagakure and the Tsuchi no Kuni. Members of the Hidden Rock Village were known by their great strength and honor, unlike the members of other Hidden villages. But, it seemed that he was not going to get what he wanted.

Anyways, as he was looking around, Marcus felt a strange sensation coming from the ground beneath himself. This sensation appeared out of a sudden, the earth started to shake, as if an earthquake was starting. But, it was not an earthquake, it was an sneak attack made by an Doton user. If a normal person was attacked like this, out of a sudden, there would be no escape for him or her. But, Marcus was not like other Jounin of his village. He was a master of dodging when there was even the slightest chance of escaping the attack. Of course, in this situation, he did not know if the sudden sensation coming from bellow was an attack or not.

Well, actually, he knew that. As the earth started to move due to the attack which was surfacing, the eyes of the young Marcus were set on a pack of birds which were sitting on a tree a meter away. When the earth started to shake, the young man noticed how the birds did not moved, so due to his keen intellect he already know that the earth was shaking only underneath him. Combining his keen intellect and great accuracy Marcus gained the chance to evade the attack which was coming at him. Of course, he had one more ace in his sleeve, which allowed him a larger chance to escape.

This other ace in his sleeve was his great agility and reflexes, which were above the level of any other Jounin, by a 20% that is. Marcus already had the reflexes of an Jounin, which were above the reflexes of any other regular person or other lower ranking shinobi. Those were good enough for dodging this attack as well. But, with an additional 20%, there was no chance for Marcus to fall for that attack. Anyways, with all those facts taken into consideration, the young Jounin started with his counter.

Using his great reflexes, Marcus quickly sidestepped to the right, moving a meter away from his previous position, a moment before the attack reached his left foot. Then, he jumped backwards, further to the left, going into the air. From his newly found aerial position he proceeded with an attack tactic. Again, with his quick, enhanced reflexes, the young man took out three shuriken with each hand from his left and right ninja pouch. Right after he took them out, Marcus proceeded with throwing them right at the person who came out of the ground. With his great accuracy, he targeted the first thing which came out of the ground that resembled to an human body part. This attack the young man made right after he jumped, giving his target little chance to react.

Exiting the underground domain was a relieving sensation for Kuni, for the first time in hours he would inhale the fresh Iwagakure air once again. Holding his powerful Geosphere Orb in his right hand, Kuni was sure that his attack would hit. With the speed and augmentation of the Jutsu, some would say the Jutsu was at warped speed. Surging upwards Kuni squinted as he withstood the rock chips that rubbed against his rough skin while moving. If it wasn't for his primate seal his skin could have been ripped, but at that moment it wasn't the right time to worry about mere scraps. He looked upwards and saw the orb radiating green chakra which illuminated the passage, it was a awesome sight indeed and Kuni was saddened that he wouldn't be able to see it longer. The anticipation and eagerness to kill his target was still fresh in Kuni, and soon it would all be over. In that instant, Kuni broke threw the earth only to continuously volt upwards which indicated a miss.

Oh the marvelous joy of having your well thought of plan shattered infront of your eyes, all due to a mere miss. What could have went wrong? His speed was unimaginable and his assault was properly prepared and executed perfectly. The thought of him being outsmarted was irritating to Kuni, but he knew this kind of situations erupted when being a Ninja. One would have to be very flexible when planning, seeing as how nothing goes according to plan in this world. Due to the speed and under anticipated power of the attack Kuni continued to launch upwards even after exiting the earth. A mere second after exiting three shuriken passed under his feet, indicating that his target knew he was coming. "Ugh...". Kuni thought as his attack dispersed inside his hand. The Geospere Orb subsided and the rock shards which circulated the attack fell to the ground.

Kinu landed a few feet from his initial attack point, which was approximately a few meters from his opponent. Not very far, enough to have a ranged tactical advantage to his belief. In a instant Kinu examined the man and the first thing that came in mind was the fact that he wore so much blue. It was quiet humerus at that second, Kuni thought the man looked silly. Seeing as how he managed to dodge the attack with such graceful speed, Kuni figured this man was at a higher rank then he was. With that, he should know that noticeable and obscene colors such as the various shades of blue he was wearing was a absolute no-no in the Ninja World. Subtlety is important, and he figured this guy must have missed that class.

Being in the second stage of his Primal Seal, Kuni possessed great power and speed, and he would have to rely on that for this fight. Forming a quick succession of hand-signs, Kuni summoned a clone. The clone resembled Kuni near perfectly, ranging from his monkey features to even his clothing. Then, the attack began. Kuni and the clone darted at the target with primal force, flicking and fluxing behind each other to confuse the target. Due to the speed it was no way possible that the target could pin-point the original without the aid of a slick Doujutsu. And since the valley was covered in shade relying on shadows was no option either. If the target couldn't react soon, Kuni will swiftly take of his head with his claws.

After releasing those shurikens, the young Marcus carefully observed the situation happening in front of him. He was quite surprised when his newly found opponent easily evaded his shuriken, without even trying. From his point of view, his opponent come from bellow with an impressive speed, while holding a sphere like Jutsu of some kind in his hand as he surfaced. That allowed him to puncture trough the earth above him with ease, reaching its target, in this case Marcus, in just a matter of seconds. That was a quite interesting attack and quite dangerous. If the young Jounin stayed on his spot, he would have been done for. Luckily for him, he had a lot of training with his agility, which saved him this time.

As his opponent was surfacing from the ground bellow, Marcus was still in the air. As quickly as he could, he made a back flip in the air, forcing himself to reach the ground even faster. Gently, his feet touched the ground, not lifting a single particle of dust into the air. At that point, his opponent was observing him carefully, probably making an analysis of some kind. Maybe he was a strategic type like Marcus, one of those shinobi who always made up a plan before going into combat. Using this moment of silence, while nobody was moving, the young Jounin quickly observed his opponent, attempting to create a battle strategy. With his left hand, which was behind his back, he suddenly touched a hard rocky surface. It seemed that one of those large rocky pillars was behind him now, so that needed to be taken into consideration as well.

Out of a sudden, the youngster in front of him started a complete body transformation, quite shocking it was. His arms and legs, even his face, all got cowered by a growing hair. In just a few moments, his whole body was hairy, looking like the body of an primate, as if he turned into a monkey this very moment. Even though it was quite a shock for Marcus, he was still quite amazed by the sudden change. Just from seeing this, the young Jounin was quite sure that this youngster was quite special, probably a member of some clan with a bloodline trait. Since Marcus had no bloodline, this child had an advantage against him in that area.

It was quite hard for Marcus to battle anyone who has a bloodline, since he wished to have a bloodline as well, ever since he became a ninja. But, life was harsh on him, giving him no special abilities at all. While most of the other ninjas in the academy at that time slowly started to discover unique skills inherited from their clan, Marcus was one of those kinds who was not special in any way. That is why he want trough harsh training in order to become stronger than anyone who has a bloodline. After he remembered all of his moments of training, a smile appeared on his face, as his opponent suddenly formed a clone. It is time to test my own abilities and see if the training has payed off; Marcus thought as he quickly, out of a sudden, formed a single hand seal.

With that hand seal formed, the body of Marcus suddenly started to change as well. Instead of the usual human skin color, his skin became brow, due to the Jutsu which he was just using. Other than the change of his skin, nothing else seemed to be different, from the looks of it that is. But, the truth was far more different, the youngster who was charging at Marcus was in for a big surprise. A few moments before his opponents reached him and before he started his counter attack, Marcus whispered something. With a smile on his face and a gentle voice, the words which came out were: "Doton: Domu." Due to the fact that he spoke those words with a whispering voice, it was impossible for his opponent to hear them, so what he did was still a secret.

The two opponents swiftly charged in, coming at Marcus head on, probably not knowing what the young Jounin stored for them. As the first one came, attempting to take of his head with the razor sharp claws on his hands, Marcus decided to use his advanced agility for evading his attack. With his swiftness, he quickly ducked, so the attack of the first foe just passed above his head. As the hand of his opponent moved, forming the slashing attack, the young Jounin moved his right hand as well. All this time, his hand was raised up to his neck, ready if Marcus needed to punch anyone. That moment was now. As one of his opponents was still performing his slash, Marcus stretched his right hand forwards, attempting to land a punch into the stomach of his opponent.

At the same time, his gentle blue eyes followed the movements of the other opponent, not letting him escape his sight.

OOC: Since you never actually explained how exactly did you attack me, I will have to describe the course of your actions at the point of your attack. You only said: "If the target couldn't react soon, Kuni will swiftly take of his head with his claws." That is not very descriptive at all.

OOC: I never said I attacked you, I simply said I charged at you with the intent of taking your head off 'when' I reached you. Giving you time to prepare. It would be God Modding for me to simply run at you 5+ meters and not get attacked. But since you took the liberty of role playing my character and clone, I'll just roll with the punches, literally.

When Kuni reached the 'Blue Man' he was surprised that he didn't provide any arsenal attacks when in distant range. It was odd but yet beneficial for Kuni in many aspects due to his predicament. But that itself left a chilling sensation down Kuni's spine. What was he up to? Many possible tactics and maneuvers became dominant in Kuni's mind when he closed in on the blue man. Previously to this his clone and himself confused his opponent which hopefully provided some cautiousness to the opponent. Any false movements would be taken advantage of by Kuni if this man made a mistake. Now his clone was behind the Blue Man at a angle, and Kuni watched as the eyes of the man followed the clone.

Kuni was in a position which prepared for a slashing motion with his claws, but stopped when he instantly processed a counter for the Blue Mans upcoming attack. Shifting his body weight to his right leg, he provided himself with stable balance to utilize his monkey stance. Calming his mind in a instance, the atmosphere around Kuni began to slow as his focus tightened. The movements of the Blue Man became readable like a book, and Kuni automatically came up with a way to kill the man. But there was something odd about this man, like something Kuni didn't know. The man was in such a awkward position that it baffled Kuni. He was in a semi-ducked with his right hand closing in on Kuni in the stomach area, leaving his entire right hemisphere of his skull unguarded.He was leaning on his right side due to delivering the punch. His left arm was obviously on the other side of the body, deeming it useless.

Before the fist made contact, Kuni gracefully rose above the air, and rotated his pelvis to provide massive power to his upcoming drop kick. Now, Kuni was in a lateral position with both his furry arms in a blocking position ready for any surprise attacks, which there wouldn't be seeing as how this whole process was very quick. Kuni's heel was a few inches from the users unprotected head. With his great speed and the activation power of his stage two seal, Kuni lauched his kick with that would in a moment break this mans skull. Kuni's strength in the second stage of his seal was powerful, enough to break threw bone and shatter most rock. Given the position and situation of the Blue Man, Kuni knew he was done for. There was no possible way for him to avoid a extremely close powerful kick and in a position where blocking was out of the question. Dodging would have been the best option but Kuni's attack is too fast. The right hand which provided the punch from the Blue Man, was still in that position due to the miss, thus utilizing hand-signs was unreliable as well. This whole counter attack was very swift and done instantly, nothing less from a Yamazaru.

On the other note, Kuni's clone also began to enclose of the Blue Man, just in case something where to happen. Even though a mere shadow clone can't do anything physical, a minor confusion could be the line between life and death. The clone wasn't near the fight, but also not very far.
