New to the site

Hi. Found this site and was amazed something lik ethis was out there. I've been a big naruto fan for years. As im still trying to figure out how this site goes and how to RPG on it i might not post for a few days, any pointers would be a great help. I've already gone through the rules, creation, ranks and banned pages.

This is what we like to see, I'm not sure whether you joined expecting to be playing a Naruto game like World of Warcraft or Runescape. Unfortunately, there aren't any games like that as of yet, no MMORPG's. Here on Ultimate Shinobi, we are a form-based roleplaying game. This is completely text-based, you write your story in complete detail, crossing your storyline with the storylines of others. You design your own perfect character, whether it's completely custom, or if it's has a Canon Clan developed into it. No matter what you choose, you make it to have fun; roleplaying in a social environment, or a harsh one; where you can in fact fight with other roleplayers.

Text-based roleplaying is something that takes a little while to get used to, in most occasions. But once you catch the bug, you get addicted and in fact can inspire certain people in the right ways. In my example, I enjoy English classes at school a lot more now and excel at essays because of the detail I can apply to my writing. I also wish to pursue a career in journalism so I can be a writer, all of this is thanks to how much roleplaying has inspired me.

Anyway, enough babbling from me, I hope you enjoy yourself here and I look forward to having a discussion or two with you in the chatbox. ;D

oh, im not new to the RPG world of Forum RPGs, wasn't expecting a Wow or runescape game. It's just that each site i've been to has different ways of setting up things, and i dont like doing anything without having atleast some idea of how not to look like a buffoon.

as for being a writer.. i am one, i have several books im working on, 1 in particular thats nearly complete to send of to publishers to look over, scrutinize and send back with big red marks telling me what i need to change or add -_- not really looking forward to it but its fun.

i do have one quick question, might not be the place for this but its the first post i have. Whats the deal with creating clans...when i registered i saw something about it but i can't find any posts on it.. i think its cause i haven't gotten sleep in 2 days but kinda hoping someone can help me out.
1: You can create clans yes?
2: if so, how? what process or channels must i go through to do so?

Yes.

There is a section in the creation area called Clan Creation. There you can create your clan using the template and it will be accessed by a moderator and hopefully approved. Your clan needs to be approved before your character can use it.
