Is the only thing the members of this site care about the forum games? Seriously, One time I came on there were 17 updated topics and only ONE of them was an RP topic. I was monitoring for a while to see if ti was worth becoming a full time member but I got to ask. Wheres the story here? Everyone is too busy doing things that dont even affect the stie. Do you guys not care about the rping at this point?

Senkou, I'm disappointed that you'd come back only to start a hassle once more. Can't we just all be mature about this. Though I do agree that Spam is being posted in a lot more than Roleplaying. The Spam to Roleplaying ratio is no good.

I was simply making a very valid point. I got wind that things were getting bad here, so I came and checked it out. Truth is I still have a modicum of love for this site.....a modicum. But what I see now is a shell of its former self. Obviiously Id have something to say about that. Now if I didnt care I wouldnt have even said anything, sat back and laughed as the site died. Aparently not the case.

| [OOC: This is Ini, just verifying for Sen]
I agree completely. It is horrible. But people wish to have entertainment, and the chatbox is only limited entertainment. Roleplay provides good entertainment, but the thing is, people are simply impatient. They do not wanna wait for the other(s) they are roleplaying with to finally post. So, to satisfy their boredom, they do spam.
Yes, this needs to be fixed, but it is basically inevitable. If one has an idea of some way to fix this, i'd be greatly appreciative, because the roleplay does need to be more fluid and active, not just King of the Hill n00bs saying "HAHAHAHA I BLEW YOU UP WITH A FUCKING ROCKET, MY HILL!" I mean, yes, i do it, but it needs to be more proportionate with that of the roleplay here. |

Limit the amount they can post in these OOC "Games". Several ways you can do that. One would be a game post to rp post ratio. Every time you post in Rp you can post 5 times in the games. Or something like that. Its really not a hard thing to curb. You just have to think of the basic fundamentals behind the problem. People need incentive to rp and also want side entertainment. These can be combined into one whole problem rather then keeping them separate and thus makes it easier to deal with. Its a simple business tactic for efficancy. US has had a bad tracker for making things more complicated then it needed to be and making the problems seem harder to tackle then they actually are by not realizing the true mechanics of the problem.

Okay.....well I only post on those topics to make sure I have enough posts to PM people. Another point, you are rather correct. However currently there are the War-Games going on, that I think is a step forward fo the story-line. I love RPGing, but that dosen't stop the fact that people need to give the screen a break now and again. I'm Rping with someone who is one the oppistie side of the world to me. I think limiting the number of posts people can put up in the OOC threads is a good idea.

2/23. Thats the number of posts in Rp sections since the last time I was on, and I was not on for two or three days. Thats only 8%. Thats not good. And its not like this is just a very brief occurence. Its been going on for a decent amount of time. Now as opposed to when I first join US 1. Which was constantly bolstering with activity at that time. On the note of my suggestion, it was just one suggestion that took me about two seconds to think of, I wasnt saying neccesarily go with it, but it was to point out that there ARE things you CAN do.

He's got a point, something should be done to boost rp'ing. I'm not saying i agree with the methods at this moment in time because i believe things will pick up once summers over. It's that time of year where everyones busy in real, i know i've been extremely busy. Yes, things are looking abit dire but give it time and stay with us, it'll work out ^^

Can't have higher activity without more active members, so that should be the main priority. Look, we all like to point out the obvious and what not, but that doesn't really help anything.
