Team Miku Begins. [Miku][Closed] Naruto-shippuden

Ninja Squads in Cloud Country has without a doubt been the stronghold of its power. The foundation of everything that exists on its land was the product of teamwork and blood of the Ninja that protect it. Millenniums ago back when things were more barren, every Ninja had a personal motive and goal that was different from his comrades. There were no such things like Kages, squads, or organizations, only the strength of ones clan and himself. It was chaos back in that era, well.. there was always chaos in the Ninja World. But back then genocide of ones bloodline wasn't uncommon due to the worlds instability, just think of the all the clans that became instinct due to meaningless crusades. It wasn't until villages started to emerge that true government and organization started to slowly spread throughout the world. Along with that squads became more prevalent instead of personal vendettas. Some say that squads are just a annoying way to group random people to work together. But the origin and symbolism of squads is quite remarkable. Squads are a family, a bond, a unity between a set of Ninja that states we move and fight as one. Squads were used to break bonds between clans, Kages would usually place off-spring of rivaling clans together so that eventually they would create bonds. When that was done the feud that the clans shared would eventually die out, that was one way villages controlled conflict within their walls. For centuries now Cloud Country is one of the most powerful villages now because of their squads, because of their bond. Now it was time for a new bond to be sown, a bond between a monkey and paper.

The young Kinu sat upon a large statue at the center of the Shinobi Courtyard. You could argue with Kinu as to how high the statue was, from his perspective the statue higher then what it should be. Staring down at the ground he started to get tunnel vision and realized he was pretty high off the ground. He could easily jump off the statue and land safely if he wanted, but the sight of the courtyard from that angle was something he didn't want to give up. The grass the flourish and full, light ravished across its glossy surface and created waves of green. The sun was above in the horizon and hugged by puffy pink clouds that you could only dream about. The sun wasn't blazing but also wasn't shy either, it was a perfect harmony in which all villagers could enjoy. There were no trees, although with the handful of giant statues in the courtyard there wasn't any need for them. There were white pavements that connected each statue in a spiderweb like pattern, probably for tourism.

Pluck.. pluck.. pluck! The noise kept coming as Kinu flicked potato chip crumbs from his sweat pants. With a small tan hand he reached into the cheap chip-bag and withdrew two large oval chips into his fingers. Effortlessly he ate the chips.. more like munched the chips in a repetitive manner. Sitting upon the shoulder of a kage statue wasn't as bad as he thought, previously he loathed the idea of constantly seeing the side of the old Raikages face every time he turned around. On the face of the statue hung a small blue bag that dangled from its nose and swung in a boogie like fashion. Inside the bag were some snacks that Kinu got form his house to share with 'Miku' when she arrived. And no... Kinu didn't have a date. He was finally going to meet his official Jounin that the Raikage had assigned to him. It would be great he thought, having someone other then mom and dad training and guiding him. He would have someone to look after him and train him, someone who he could probably look up to as a role-model. He has never met Miku before, but rumor has it that shes one of the most beautiful Jounin in the village, according to the other Genin that is. Kinu never thought about having a female Jounin seeing as how there were so few of them. He hoped that she would be nice though, and buy him stuff, like candy.

Today, Miku would be meeting someone new. Now, this wasn't a very strange or abnormal occurrence by any means, but it was much more significant than most this time around. The reason being that this 'someone new' was in fact, her student-to-be. The kunoichi looked over at the clock in her apartment. The little minute hand moved just the slightest. She concluded then that it would be a good time to start heading out the door. Although she was dressed; black v-neck short-sleeved shirt, electric blue skort with a single black stripe going up the sides, and black ninja boots, she still needed to add just a few things before leaving. After brushing her vibrant long hair and pinning her bangs back with a lightning bolt barrette, she proceeded to add her Jounin vest and hip pouch. The final touch, you ask? A few candies placed in her skort pocket for later. Anyone that knew her well enough knew that Miku just loved candy. It was one of her childish qualities. How anyone could not like candy was honestly just beyond her.

She left her apartment eagerly and proceeded to make her way over to their meeting place. Truthfully, it had been awhile since she taught anyone. A spar here or there, but no serious training. Miku had been to the hospital, a very familiar setting, but for just some bad luck every medical student she saw had happened to already have a tutor by their side. It was nice to think she would have someone to possibly hand down some knowledge to, whether it be words of wisdom or physical attributes. She bobbed her head to imaginary music while she happily strutted down the paths of Kumogakure no Sato. Miku waved to passing by citizens, smiled to the small children as they played, all while keeping her thoughts set on meeting this mysterious genin she had not seen before.

After finally arriving at the Shinobi Courtyard, Miku took the opportunity to get a good look of it all. It had been awhile since she had visited the area. It was just as she remembered. Gorgeous green grass, cotton-candy pink clouds, glowing sun, white pavement, and glorious giant statues that just demanded your attention. It was the perfect setting. Kumogakure no Sato was just amazing. She let out a peaceful sigh and began to walk around, keeping her eyes peeled for this genin she had not met. It made her think of her old squad for when she was a child. She giggled to herself as she reminisced giving them pet names; Jumpy and Sleepy. Miku could remember them actually disliking the pet names, but they eventually warmed up to them after she continuously called them such. She had always been the leader of the group, too. After all, she wanted to be a hero. In fact, she still did want to be a hero. That was just one of her childish qualities.

A sudden repeditive noise started to pass through the kunoichi's ears. It went, 'pluck.. pluck..pluck!', a somewhat odd noise in Miku's opinion. She furrowed her eyebrows and then grinned as she approached the noise closer. It was like playing hide 'n seek. The young woman pranced on the path, vibrant hair swinging from side to side. She soon found herself in front of a large statue of one of the Raikage. A boy was sitting on the statue's shoulder. She grinned as she recalled doing such a thing when she was little. Her emerald eyes looked over the boy. He was tan with pink patches upon his young looking cheeks, green eyes much similar to her own, groomed black eyebrows, and blonde hair. He was actually rather short from the best she could tell. Not that there was anything wrong with that, for Miku herself was rather short, too. He was eating potato chips and the crumbs he was dusting off from his pants was were the sound was coming from. She tilted her head to the side, giving him a friendly smile while waving to him. "You wouldn't happen to be a Genin by the name of 'Kinu', would you?" she questioned.

"You wouldn't happen to be a Genin by the name of 'Kinu', would you?" Asked by a bell-toned voice from below. The voice awoken Kinu from a tranquil daydream he was having when staring at the clouds. He didn't mean to dose off in such a essential meeting but he couldn't help himself, he thoughtfully blamed the delicious chips. His eyes swayed off the clouds and onto the lap, not being able to see the young woman just yet. She sounded quite pleasant and joyful, something Kinu could only bask about. Exhilarating-childish warmth flooded Kinu from his stomach, he thought it was butterflies but the feeling was more halcyon. Placing the chip back to his side he leaned forward in a rocky motion and stabled himself with his hands. His legs uncrossed and casually resting on the statues upper torso. Looking a angle below him he saw the picturesque kunoichi standing upon the pavement by the statue. This was it, Kinu finally saw his Jounin Sensei for the first time and joy covered his face.

So this was Miku; or should I say 'Miku Sensei'. Kinu noticed her eccentric clothing and preppy stature immediately upon looking. Although her blue skirt is a few seasons late, Kinu kept his pre-judgment cap off for the moment. She seemed quite lovely looking as his peers said. He also noticed her stunning green eyes the rivaled in texture and illumination. His eyebrows raised with delight without even noticing. He smiled once more before speaking. "Yes ma'am! My name is Kinu Yamazaru!" He said militantly while plopping up like a bunny. "So I'd assume that your Miku Sensei? Yay, this is going to be so sweet!" He yelled cheerily probably a soprano higher then he intended. He leaned for the blue bag which hung from the statues nose, his short sleeved red shirt easing above his waste line as he stretched. With a small tug he retrieved the bag and placed it on his lap. From the bag he'd taken out a small pink box they emitted the scent of strawberries and buttered bread from its domain. It took a level of control to stop Kinu from wripping that box apart and devouring the cake himself, humorously enough. "Come up sit by me! My Mommy made you some cake!" Kinu said while patting the stone surface of the statue beside him. He was glad that his mother was a excellent baker and he was sure that Miku Sensei would enjoy the dessert while chatting.

Miku watched as the boy placed his chips to his side as he leaned forward, most likely to get a good look at the sudden stranger. She continued to smile as she allowed him to take the time to observe her. He must have gotten a good impression or some vibe, for a smile stretched across his face and his eyebrows rose quite a bit. He addressed her with enthusiasm and manners; a good sign. In fact, he was even yelling quite cheerfully. It made her all the more excited to have a student again. She felt her heart skip a beat when called 'Miku-Sensei'. It made her grin like an idiot. "Kukukuku! I couldn't agree more! This will be fun!" she replied with equal enthusiasm.

Kinu then leaned for what she assumed was his bag, which he then promptly took out a small pink box. Her curiosity kicked in. A very soft wave blew by, bringing the scent of strawberry and buttered bread to the kunoichi. It came from the box. Whatever was in that box, it smelled sweet and delicious. The young woman took a step closer, taking in more of the scent, licking her lips slightly as thoughts of pastries entered her mind. "Come up sit by me! My Mommy made you some cake!" he stated rather happily while patting the stone surface of the statue next to him, inviting her. She stood there for just a moment, computing things. Teenagers didn't usually call their parents 'mommy' or 'daddy', anymore. They also weren't usually as enthusiastic when it came to things like sweets and candy. She was also quite positive that they weren't usually as friendly-friendly with adults, let alone gave them gifts. Miku's lips twitched into a overly-pleased grin, again. She liked the kid already. He sorta reminded her of herself for when she was a child. Hell, even now.

The young woman accepted the invitation, jumping onto the stone surface beside Kinu, beginning to giggle. She made sure not to sit on any of her vibrant colored hair, pushing it aside. Her legs dangled freely, gently swinging back and forth, usually being stopped by the rest of the large statue's self. Miku then looked back at the boy, who was really only a few inches shorter than herself. "Kukuku! Cake, you say? Looks like the student has already surpassed the master! I had only brought some candies for you!" she jokingly stated while reaching into her pocket, taking out a few of the hard candies and wavering them around for the boy to see. They were all circle shaped and protected in transparent wrappers, being the size of about an acorn. Some were red, some were green, while others were purple and yellow. However, she stuffed them back into her pocket of her skort snuggly.

"But we'll eat those some other times! I'm positively positive your Mommy's cake is far better than my simple hard candies. They smell like it, anyways!" she stated while giving the boy a wink and scooting closer, eying the pretty pink box filled with said cake. It was temptation at one of it's finest. She was certain the boy felt the same. The young woman lightly tapped on the top of the box with her round-shaped fingernails. "You may have the honor of opening the sweet goodness, Kinu. I will watch." she said, then crossing her legs, waiting eagerly. "Oh, but don't throw away the box. It's rather pretty. I'll have it if you don't want it. I like things like that." the young woman quickly added on while letting a laugh out. "Kukukuku! Heeheehee!"

PostSubject: Re: Team Miku Begins. [Miku][Closed] Team Miku Begins. [Miku][Closed] EmptyTue 05 Oct 2010, 11:37 pm

Kinu watched Miku Sensei as she jumped from the ground and flung herself into the air with marvelous grace. Each strand of her capillary hair flowed around her body in a untamed manner while airborne. Sitting at a slightly deceptive angle on a statue Kinu hadn't realized how shimmering Miku Sensei had looked until now. Her skin had reflected the aurora sun rays which further heightened her beauty and made her more youthful then before. Unfortunately her leap was rather quick and even Kinu's elite eyes couldn't grasp everything he wanted to see in Miku in-air. As she plopped on the statue beside him she was then enveloped in shade, losing the ravishing touch the sun had given her. Never-the-less she was a remarkable woman and easy on the eyes. The scent of candy flushed into Kinu's scent and overshadowed the smell of cake. He could smell all of flavors of candy on Miku; grape, cherry, and possibly a hint of bubble-gum. He could obviously tell that she was a candy lover, and he figured that was one more aspect that made them similar. Miku swept the hair from under her as she sat, hoping to not sit on the pink strands. Kinu giggled as everything was moving so smoothly, he was still excited for meeting his first Jounin. He cracked the lid of the cake but didn't open it all the way, possibly saving the smell as much as he could before the wind diluted it.

"Kukuku! Cake, you say? Looks like the student has already surpassed the master! I had only brought some candies for you!" She stated while taking out small globe shaped peices of candy from her pockets. Kinu's eyes widened and he turned his body in proportion to Miku. He smiled and watched the candy hypnotically as she twirled it around and stuffed it back in her pockets. That was probably where the scent was coming from when she sat, or maybe she just had a natural scent of candy flavor? Odd, but having a teacher that smelled like candy all the time wasn't upsetting to Kinu at all. "But we'll eat those some other times! I'm positively positive your Mommy's cake is far better than my simple hard candies. They smell like it, anyways!" Miku said with her natural silvery energetic voice. Kinu couldn't agree more, and for second he'd forgotten about the box he was holding in his lap. He turned to face the box dumbfound, and huffed a laugh while picking it up. Miku Sensei, scooted closer to him and he kindly adjusted his body so that she'll have some eating space. She leaned over and tapped the box with her fingernails which sounded quiet hoarse on the cardboard box.

"You may have the honor of opening the sweet goodness, Kinu. I will watch. Oh, but don't throw away the box. It's rather pretty. I'll have it if you don't want it. I like things like that." She said with a beautiful ringing laugh at the end. Kinu laughed along with her although stopping a few seconds before she did. During that time he opened the lid of the cake and revealed the freshly-baked goodness that was inside. It was remarkable, pink and white fluffy icing tessellated around puffy yellow bread. There were little round swirls of icing around the edge of the cake with little rock candies resting on the top. Around the sides of the cake were icing strands which spiraled around it and glittered with pinkish light. The cake was small, but not too small to where it wasn't enough. It was about 8inches in diameter and fitted snug inside the pink unfolded box. On the side of the cake resting on the edge of the box were two white plastic forks which Kinu kindly took one for himself. He then gently sat the cake between the two of them and smiled at the heating sun.

"Go on... grab a bite!" He said fruitfully while smiling. His eyes drifted from Miku to the grass across from the statue wearily, as if he had been struck by the fists of seriousness. He exhaled a large sigh while taking some cake with his fork. "But on a more serious note I guess, I'm quiet honored to have you as a Jounin, you seem quite pleasant. As said before my name is Kinu Yamazaru, my clan studies in Animal-Sealing jutsu, quiet cool actually. I'm was born and raised in this village, graduated from the academy a few months ago." He stated with a random giggle at the end, academy years was always a humorous topic for him. "So yeah I'm eleven years old and stuff.. So what about you?" He asked while taking another bite of the cake.

Eagerly, Miku watched Kinu open the pretty pink box containing the cake. He opened the lid and revealed the delightful smelling pastry. "Oh, wow..." was all the young woman could get out in while she stared down at the freshly-baked goodness. It was rather impressive for such a homely sized cake. Her emerald eyes took in every detail of it like an artist taking in all the possible colors they could choose. From the pink and white fluffy icing, the puffiness of the creamy yellow bread, to the little round swirls decorated with little rock candies upon them, and the spiraled icing that glittered almost diva-like. "You're mother must be quite the baker! It looks fantastic!" she complimented, almost thinking of her own mother until she began to wonder of how the sweet looking pastry would taste. Miku began to eye the two plastic forks, watching Kinu take one before carefully situating the cake between the two of them. "Go on... grab a bite!" the boy said rather fruitfully with a smile. She returned the smile and happily plucked the single fork left, taking a small scoop of cake and planting it in her mouth, eating it happily. It was quite tasty, being sweet and rich with flavor. It was easy to chew through the fluffy light breading unlike some pastries Miku had eaten in the past. This was definitely the good stuff. She looked at the boy, still chewing her bite of cake.

She observed him drifting his attention from her to the green grass with a sudden wearily type of attitude. Her eyebrows rose slightly as she went to take another small bite, minding her manners and chewing the food with her mouth closed, refusing to speak with a full mouth. With a rather large sigh, Kinu was then one to break the moment of silence. "But on a more serious note I guess, I'm quiet honored to have you as a Jounin, you seem quite pleasant. As said before my name is Kinu Yamazaru, my clan studies in Animal-Sealing jutsu, quiet cool actually. I'm was born and raised in this village, graduated from the academy a few months ago." he spoke, throwing in a seemingly random giggle at the end. Not that Miku actually minded, having done that numerous times in all sorts of conversations. She gave a nod of the head, signalling she was listening and understood what he was saying. "So yeah I'm eleven years old and stuff.. So what about you?" he added on while taking another bite of the lovely pastry just as she had finished chewing her own bite. The young woman gave him an amused smile, enjoying the conversation and company.

"Thank you, Kinu. I am pleased to be once again accompanied with a student. Some genin aren't as keen to be working with other individuals, it's relieving to hear you're so eager. I, Miku Tetsumi, was also born and raised in the wonderful Kumogakure no Sato. I, too, take part of a clan, though instead of any sealings, my clan has the ability to manipulate paper. The very armband with my clan's emblem that I'm wearing is made of paper, which I could manipulate." she stated with a cheerful smile, though otherwise casual and calm voice.

"I'm nineteen years old. I've actually only really been a Jounin for a year and a good few months. I specialize in Ninjutsu as well as Medical Ninjutsu, while also specializing in the Katon element and Fuuton element. Hopefully, I'll be able to actually teach you a few things. We might just be going on a mission, soon. We shall see." she concluded, finally taking a break from talking to take another bite of the cake. A smile continued to light up her face as she proceeded to much on her piece of delightful food. The kunoichi also figured this would give Kinu the opprotunity to add in a few words should he wanted to. After all, Miku didn't want to dominate the conversation. She took a peak at her surroundings again, looking towards the sky peacefully, a gentle breeze blowing by. Another piece of cake was then eaten by her. Things were going rather smoothly.

The very armband with my clan's emblem that I'm wearing is made of paper, which I could manipulate."

-Chew-

Young Kinu's focus became more in tuned to his Jounin as she spoke, more-so then before. His munching of his precious cake had slowed, but not halted. He stared at Miku for a long moment as if she were she were unreal. Manipulation of Paper? How lame he thought while setting his fork down. He poked his rose pink lips out in shallow disappointment, the kind of face a child makes when his mother refuses him to go outside. His eyes winced and his shoulders slumped a little to compliment his bittersweet posture. He was sure that Miku didn't notice is slight shift in body expression, but being a Jounin he was sure she would. In his little head of his he imaged Miku doing paper tricks in a typical cartoonish manner. Picturing her twirling paper out of a notebook and making little neko faces out of origami. He couldn't cogitate how her abilities would be useful in battle, how moving paper would enhance her capabilities of becoming a powerful ninja. Kinu shook his head out of his own ignorance, but his curiosity was repetitively coming back. How much paper could she manipulate? Does she have any Jusu with her paper? He didn't know, but hopefully with the experience he was going to have with her she would demonstrate for him. Even without the paper though, Kinu could sense the fierce vehement chakra coming out of Miku, so bright and strong. It reminded him of his father.

We shall see."

She said as if it were more of a promise then a curious statement. Miku was still pretty young, although a bit older then what Kinu initially thought when first seeing her. He thought about how nowadays younger people were being promoted at a faster rate then older ones, it was quiet an interesting thought. Maybe more people are being naturally born with more inherit power than before, or maybe its coincidence. But he was sure that Miku was a Jounin for a reason, a reason that he didn't want to find out first hand to be honest. Her skill in Medical Jutsu didn't surprise Kinu as much as expected. He kind of got a 'hint' that she had some medical skills from the get-go. He had taken a self-congratulatory bite of his cake for his correct observation. What surprised him more was her skill in the elements which he had never expected from a combat medic. From his teachings in the Academy as well as his mother medics usually studied in Taijutsu and Genjutsu which catered to their supreme chakra control. Having one being a proficient user of elemental chakra was quiet remarkable.

Kinu uncrossed his ankles and rested them against the stone much similar to Miku. He placed his fork on his lap which it will stay until this encounter was over. He was done eating cake for right now anyway, having eating about a quarter of it already just from listening to Miku Sensei. He leaned back and rested his hands on the rock with the intention of relaxing for a brief moment. With the silence that had come he was sure that it was his time to speak but he couldn't at the moment. So instead, he peered off into the horizon and watched the sun as it shined on them pleasantly. The jolly wind had slowed to a tolerable pace and the screeching that it caused subsided in Kinu's ear. His short blond hair came to a sudden halt and remained in a awkward spiky position to only one side of his head. Got to love the weather sometimes. His red shirt shagged off his summer tan shoulders revealing some of his chest.

"Oooohhh! That's interesting Miku Sensei!" Kinu said while swinging his legs back and forth. His eyes slowly opened and he smiled menacingly as the side of his mouth turned into little cherry hooks. "So now that we know each other a bit more, I figure its time we know each other in the battlefield. My father says that there's no better place to know someone.. teehee." He preached while standing effortlessly on his feet. He turned to Miku still smiling and tilted his head innocently. "Training Ground Miku Sensei? You can bring the cake with you of course!" He said with a lovely giggle at the end. This was more then a traditional test many Genin and Jounin go threw to learn about each others skill, he wanted to see what really he could learn from Miku.

PostSubject: Re: Team Miku Begins. [Miku][Closed] Team Miku Begins. [Miku][Closed] EmptySun 17 Oct 2010, 7:04 am

Miku took notice of Kinu's prolonged silence. Was he expecting her to say something else? Was he thinking intently? Did he have not anything to say? She found herself staring at him while she skillfully continued to eat some of the cake without taking her eyes off the boy. He was watching the sun as it shined upon everything around them, including them. The same wind that had been blowing was now less powerful and most enjoyable to experience. While it merely only caused her long vibrant locks to sway in the slightest, Kinu's hair was now in quite the spiky situation. She let out a muffled laugh as she took another bite of the pretty pastry. During this time, she also couldn't help but to examine Kinu, but more as trying to decipher what type of ninja he was, something of the sort. He was short, which she had already taken notice of, but he appeared to also have a bit of an athletic type body. His clothing style seemed to be a bit on the easy-to-move in type, also athletic. His athletic type self was further explored when his bare shoulders became visible to the eye. They were quite broad. She tapped the edge of her fork against her lips, still gathering and meshing the information she was taking in. He was tan, signaling he was often outside.

Overall, he was a quite fit and healthy looking ninja. Without a warning, the young woman was warped out of her train of information gathering and sucked back into her surroundings. Miku blinked, recalling that everything was still just as it had been. She was just in time to hear Kinu finally respond. He sounded cheerful as ever, chip chirping away.

"Oooohhh! That's interesting Miku Sensei!"

The kunoichi nodded her head while taking another small bite of cake, agreeing that it was, in fact, interesting. She remained quiet otherwise. Kinu's eyes popped open from his little relaxation period and a rather ominous type smile stretched across his young face. Why did it look so familiar? Oh, that's right. She more so than not shared the same type of expression, even now as an adult. She took another bite of the pretty pastry as Kinu continued on. "So now that we know each other a bit more, I figure its time we know each other in the battlefield. My father says that there's no better place to know someone.. teehee." he voiced, standing swiftly back on his feet. She let out a giggle, "Oh ho ho ho! I see, I see!" she finally commented, already knowing full well what he was trying to get to. He did this odd little gesture of tilting his head to the side, still smiling. That, too, seemed tauntingly familiar. Didn't she do that at times, too? Perhaps her mother or father used to do it? Couldn't possibly have been from some manga or comic, could it? She shoved those questions to that side in a deep dark corner of her brain. "Training Ground Miku Sensei? You can bring the cake with you of course!"

She placed her plastic fork back with the remainder of the cake in it's dolled-up box and took the liberty of carrying it delicately in her hands. Miku then jumped off of the statue, a small thud noise ringing out as she landed onto the white path from before, still holding onto the pink box with pastry inside. "Sure, sure! Let's just get away from these statues. Shouldn't take very much time at all to reach a good clearing." she agreed pleasantly, straying off of the paths, assuming Kinu was following her. "As my student, I'm going to be letting you attack first. That's how I did it with my last students and how my sensei did it with me. We'll just go from there." she said, walking closer to a clear area. "We'll just set this cake somewhere safe from where we spar. Don't worry either, I'm not going to be unfair. You'll get a minor injury at the most." Miku quickly added on, reassuring both the safety of the boy's mother's baking as well as his life, throwing in a wink and short laughter. "Kuku!"
