| After minutes of roof-top traveling that was short lived, Kinu finally stepped foot on the bay area of Kumogakure. Making his final graceful leap off of a building, he landed steadily on the sandy shore as if he were weightless. Inhaling the fresh sea air which has been known to soothe the wildest of hearts, Kinu found it quite hard to break away from the joy. Opening his once closed eyes, Kinu saw the endless sight of flourish blue and green water that looked eternal. The waves were low but their movements were rapid, attracting Kinu's attention with every clash that they made. When this mission was over Kinu would most definably go back to the bay and play in the water... well, late at night when no one was looking. Kinu arrived at the spot a few minutes before Karamu and Koma, and he decided to use that time perhaps catch site of a boat to get them to Iron Country. He took a few steps deeper into the sandy shore, and stared down the shoreline to see if anything was coming. "Hm... nothing." He thought while crossing his arms. By this time, the weather had underwent a drastic change from its previous stage. The once blazing morning sun was now hidden in a blanket of grey clouds. Kinu feared that this boat ride would turn irritable if a storm were to approach, and seeing as how they needed to travel by water in order to reach Iron Country, they wouldn't have much of a choice anyway. Kinu was not sure if the Raikage had made ship reservations for the squad, but he figured she hadn't due to a boat not being present. A few minutes had passed and Kinu was sure that his teammates had arrived.
"Well... I hope you guys can walk on water." Kinu said while looking into the sea. |

| Karamu was surprised at the speed of Kinu, Karamu had always been able to move at good speeds but Kinu was something else. Karamu noticed people beginning to wake up and go about the village with their lives, he was thinking to himself 'Look at you, so carefree, what would it be like to be like you guys, probably boring with the daily grind. I'll stick to being a ninja, it has it's perks, power and respect and every day is different.' Karamu arrived at the bay unsure of how long Kinu had been there, he had figured about five to ten minutes earlier. He looked around, there were no boats around which meant they would have to run across the water, that could be troublesome, his chakra reserves were not that big and he figured he may end up swimming at some point. Kinu realised he was there and said he hoped that they could walk on water, Karamu said "Yeah, I can probably keep walking on water for 20 minutes so I'll just move fast as Iron country is not far away, it is the closest land to Lightning country."
Karamu took an apple from his pouch and started to eat it, he wanted to replenish his energy before this next bit. It took him about 10 seconds to finish it, he was a fast eater, and he buried the core in the sand. He then looked up and awaited one of the others to say or do something, he was not good at the whole leadership thing, he was going to guard the letter, for now at least as no one had asked for it and it made him feel important, plus he seemingly had the best manners so he should hand the letter to the leader. It would be important for the three to be well behaved when dealing with the Iron country leader, disrespect could endanger the mission and he did not want that, he needed to show his village he was a capable ninja, not a fool who let emotions get in his way. |

| Koma leaped high above the trees, having the nice feeling of his feet glide on open air. He glanced up at the clouds, smirking at their originality and beauty. As he stared at the clouds he could tell their similarities to real life. Storm clouds were trouble, but nice whispy clouds meant good things were coming, and clear skies were good news as well. His feet touched ground before his mind did, and he remained near the rear of the group, staring up in the sky as if in a daze. Slowly, he lowered his head, looking at the others in his group. He didn't much care for their conversations, but looking past them at the long expanse of water, he knew trouble was ahead. "Are sure there isn't a safer way across?" There were all kinds of things that could grow wrong with Kinu's plan, the boy was acting too quickly, being too rash. Not a very good quality in a ninja, but Koma didn't say anything, just blinking behind sunglasses.
He looked at Karamu, packing away on an apple like a squirrel trying to store nuts for the winter. Almost to the point of inhaling the apple instead of eating. He seemed to have grown some kind of new focus with their goal so close at hand. To him, it was just having the prospect of sleeping in for a few days a bit closer. His teammates sure wouldn't bother him at all after this mission, that was his hope anyway, to be left alone for a little while. Koma could see the usefulness in using ninjutsu to cross the ocean. It would save time, and manpower, and most of all money, but he just didn't feel like doing it himself, even though his chakra control was superb for someone with so little enthusiasm like him. He may not have the stamina as the others, but he could manage at least a little while. |

| "Yeah, I can probably keep walking on water for 20 minutes so I'll just move fast as Iron country is not far away, it is the closest land to Lightning country." Karamu responded from behind Kinu. Kinu's raised his eyebrow into a perfect arch and placed his hands on his hips. Iron Country was very far from Kumogakure, if not the farthest village. Kinu found it hard to contemplate how Karamu thought Iron Country was anywhere close to Kumogakure no Sato. A smirk came across Kinu's face although it wasn't for humerus reasons. Kinu turned around casually and faced Karamu and folded his hands behind his head. Randomly, Kinu witnessed as Karamu take out a apple and began devouring it within seconds. Kinu kept his face as bland as possible, trying to keep his sophistication alive. As he did so he finally saw Koma arrive at the shore.
"Are sure there isn't a safer way across?" Koma asked intently which wiped Kinu's mind blank. A Ninja, worrying about if something was safe? That was quiet funny to Kinu in mores ways then one. In his perspective, in the Ninja world it wasn't about what was 'safe' but rather effective. During the Great Ninja Wars people gave their lives to do what had to be done. Kinu's ancestors, their ancestors, and the ancestors of the villagers risked everything to do what had to be done. Now this young boy questioned to walk across water for a few hours because hes worried about being 'safe'. Please. Kinu's young and innocent eyes became ruby, and his pupil became slit. His primal blood began to slightly boil and the aura he emitted became somewhat intimidating. Even with his body mutating due to his annoyance, Kinu spoke angelically to assure his teammates.
"You guys are so silly. Karamu, I don't know who was your Academy Teacher but Iron Country is very far. It takes approximately two days to travel there seeing as how I've been there before." Kinu said while walking away from from both of them in tiny steps. He placed his hands behind his back and started circling the two as he spoke. "Koma, yes its very safe, and even if it wasn't its the quickest way. Now, I hope you two know that stamina is not a concern for this predicament. You could easily mold chakra on water to keep yourselves lifted. Besides that, there are small island spots off the coast of Konohagkure which is quite fond of tourism. They can serve as resting spots if needed. If we walked, we would have to go through eight villages which is far more dangerous. Including that, boats don't usually come at this time in the morning. Shinobi have been traveling by water for centuries, I'm pretty sure we'll be fine. So are you guys ready?." Kinu asked while finally stopping at his original spot.
Kinu smiled innocently and the color came back to his cherubic face. He was eager to begin the travel without further questions, although he was being impatient. Traveling the sea by foot wasn't that complicated nor dangerous. Plus by how fast they moved they could arrive in Iron Country within a mere day. Maybe they were underestimating themselves, or maybe not.
- Spoiler:

| OOC: Iron is right next to lightning, look at this: https://ultimateshinobi.darkbb.com/the-ultimate-conflict-f62/up-to-date-map-of-the-shinobi-world-and-current-situation-t134.htm#697
IC: Karamu knew he should not of eaten the apple in front of the guys, he knew they viewed it as weird. Koma showed up and asked if there was a safer way, Karamu found this amusing, the sea would be safe enough for a ninja. There were safer ways but they would take longer and time is not an ally in this mission. His amusement quickly vanished when Kinu changed, his eyes changed to become more beast-like and he let off an aura that held Karamu in a feeling, almost like terror but he was not scared, it was a fearsome presence for such a young genin to possess. What was strange was that Kinu kept his composure despite the change he took. He told Karamu his geography was wrong, Karamu thought he was right, but if Kinu had been there he must've known better. Karamu had lived near the border and he thought it was Iron country next to Lightning country as he had heard people talking about it while he lived there.
Kinu walked in a circle around the two and said there was no problem with stamina as there were rest spots on the way and things would be fine. He then stopped as he asked if they were ready to go. His face went back to normal and the aura left, Karamu sighed a little, this kid was more trouble than he had thought. He said to Kinu "I'm ready, let's get moving." Karamu walked into the water and then brought chakra to his feet, he slowly walked out and stood on the water, waiting for the other two to start moving. He wanted to reach Iron as soon as possible, this was the first time in his ninja career that he felt like he was doing something important. |

| With a casual flip of white hair. With one hand, Koma massaged his shoulders. He placed his hands back into his pockets, Kinu had said there would be rest stops soon enough, he just hoped they had some good food and soft beds. Though with their current need for speed, he knew he probably wouldn't get much of a rest. He didn't like their geographical squabbles, it just didn't seem necessary. If they ever got lost, they could just ask for directions some time, no big deal. Then again it was usually impossible to find someone on the open water that they could ask directions from. His eyes swished from boy to boy, wondering what was going on with them. His eyes fixed themselves on Kinu for a moment, looking at how strange he was acting. Koma coughed under his breath, it seemed he had touched a nerve with Kinu, but after a short rant, he seemed to regain his calm nature.
With slightly wide eyes, he cleared his throat. "You two are so very perplexing." he retorted in a low, low voice. He shifting his awkward stare away from Kinu, he found himself looking at the tall frame of Karamu. The boy leaped right into the water, for a second Koma thought he was attempting to drown himself, but he didn't fall, he just continued on running. It wasn't anything strange to see for a ninja, he just had expected Kinu to be the first one to rush off the dock. With a shrug, Koma removed his hands from his pockets, forming the Tiger handsign, instantly, he surged chakra down into his feet, concentrating on powering his energy there. It was a strange feeling, as if the rest of his body had become weightless, but his feet felt reluctant to move. Koma let his hands fall to his side with a sigh, he stepped forward a few steps before breaking into a run across the dock, his arms waving behind him, as if they had become lifeless.
As Koma leaped off the dock, he felt his feet hit water and... Stay there. Nothing else. He was standing on water. An invigorating feeling, but he couldn't stay like this for long, time was of the essence. Leaping forward, one the wishy-washy waves of the sea, feeling it roll beneath his feet like some great beast. Running across it was much more difficult than he thought it would be, if he didn't concentrate enough, his foot might get dragged underwater, and Koma found himself performing some strange duck walk, attempting to get used to the water. After he got used to it, he managed to stand perfectly still on the water, walking with ease now. "That wasn't so tough, now I just have to walk like this..." he sighed, "All the way to Iron country." he managed to say to himself. |

| Kinu watched as both his teammates began to walk across the water. The waves brushed against their feet and continued down the strand to where Kinu was standing. The tide was pulling in and Kinu gently tapped his foot on the water. Concentrating, Kinu sent a small amount of chakra to the soles of his feet and made it flow. Without any type of failure Kinu now stood on top of the small like a expert. He walked across water many times before in the village Hot Springs but this would indeed be his first time in a ocean. It frightened him a little, but Kinu was never the type of show fear in front of his comrades. He assured them both that they would be safe, he was going make sure of that. Kinu casually walked down the water to catch up to his teammates. Each step he took made a small splashing sound on the water that became rhythmical as his walk became casual. After being confirmed that everyone was ready, Kinu nodded his head and continued his journey to Iron Country. |
