Earthquake Yo

My sexy little NZ city just got hit with a 7.1 earthquake today. Everything is pretty screwed up so their are two possible scenario's;

1. I won't be able to get on for a little while due to damage to internet and electrical services. They have been temporarily restored but they need further fixing over the region. Plus clean-up etc etc.

2. School will be off and and somehow the internet will be restored which means an increase in activity. Very Happy

Lets hope for the latter! ^^

UPDATE: On top of the earthquake Jim Hickey the local TV One weather man has gone with a big call and is saying the canterbury region is going to be hit with a very deadly storm overnight which is going to carry on for the next few days. This, with another expected aftershock of around 6.5 within 40 hours means that option 2 might not be an option anymore. May be away for even longer. Mother Nature can be a bitch.

Nah apparently it came from South Australia, The North East region of South Australia and was to follow down through Victoria and Tasmania, so I guess it makes sense that the sheep lovin' Kiwi's got hit by the storm too, right?
