Kyo's second mission: Infestation Removal

[b]Mission Objective: [/b] Due to a recent accident on the part of local fishermen, a species of fish that is not native to the area has been released in the village's waterways. This needs to be addressed as the fish is known to devour the native species which are vital to the village as a source of food. A crate of these fish were released, they need to be tracked down and removed, preferably alive.

After his last mission was complete Kyo Ryuzaki went on home to report back to his mentor. During the last mission he had to also take samples of the vines and give it to his mentor so he can exanimate them. The reason he wanted to examine them is still unknown but he thought it was a good idea for Kyo to ask when he was going to deliver them. He entered him and took off his shoes and put them on the shoe cupboard as he then replace them on with slippers. He walked inside as he was walking up the stairs he exclaimed. “I am home guys. Mentor are you here?” It did not take long for a greet to come and with the greet came the location of his mentor. “I am right here upstairs in the lab.”
Kyo went upstairs to his mentor’s room as the door was halfway open. He knocked on the door slightly and waited a second for him to answer. “May I come in mentor?” The mentor opens the door as he signals him to come in. He looks at Kyo as he smiled and then started to speak. “So how did your first mission go?” Kyo paused some and then he smiled and spoken. “It was great. The mission went on with a success. Guess what I got, your samples that you wanted from the mission.” His mentor smiled at he then started to look and see if he was holding anything. “Alright where is it?”
Kyo started to take out his scroll from his pocket as he laid it on the ground as he then unrolled the scroll and then the scroll was exposed showing its markings. Then he started to unseal the scroll and there three vile were shown. Vile labeled one and two were just regular samples of the vines. The third shown a bile of ash from when he burned the vile. He then showed it to his mentor and then spoken. “I figure you wanted a different sample and see how well the vine would react to the fire. Hopefully this is enough samples for you.”

His mentor smiled and nodded as he then picked up the vile and place them all in a test tube type of rack. He then started to re roll the scroll and placed it in his pocket as he looked at Kyo and then spoken. “Yes yes this is enough. You can go along. I am going to need the lab to myself tonight. Get some rest you have earned it for today. Tomorrow is a new day, a new mission as a Kumo gennin. Now rest Kyo.”

Kyo did as he was told and he went along to his bed. Were he would then want to go on and slumber. It did not take him long to take off his clothes, get his shower stuff and go in the shower. As he was taking a shower he kept on thinking about that shadow. He remembered seeing it rush at him. He knew it had fangs and claws and was ready to attack. But the ready to attack part was a bit suspicious to him. Why would he jump out and then leave at the exact moment when the target was vulnerable. Not only that it disappeared as quickly as it came on.

He exited the shower after over thinking and changed into his night clothes. He then started to go on to his bed room as he continued to think about those things that showed up on his last mission. For some reason he knew that the creature will strike again. It shouldn’t be that bad but it is just random to come across. While giving the second time to over look things Kyo closed his eyes and began to fall in his slumber.

Kyo started to open his eyes to a loud bang in the house. Kyo got up and was reading his fingers if he needed to activate his clan’s jutsu. He slowly got up from the bed and wondered what the hell was going on. It must have been his mentor messing with the lab again but so early. It had to be at least 7 am. The sun was just starting to rise. He then started to go inside of the labs and noticed fish tanks prepared out on the desk. Kyo tilted his head as he wondered why the fish tanks? Why now? Before he could say a correct answer he started speaking.
“Ohh Kyo, you are awake that is good. Like my fish tank? You must be wondering why am I here? Well its to prepare you for your next mission. You see I need you to collect a fish that is not native to this land. Why am I interested in fishes now? I will tell you why, it is because of your next mission. Your next mission is to capture the fishes I need.” His mentor threw him the scroll as Kyo caught it and began to read the mission. He then stopped as he then asked him. “Wait, you knew something was going on with the fishes and you did not wake me up to start the mission already? They are in danger the more we wait.” His mentor looked at kyo and started to chuckle some as he then responded. “Easy Kyo it just started to happen not to long ago. I need you to get gong we have to get that sample here. Don’t worry I cleared it with the administrators to make sure I am allowed one sample of fishes. Here is another scroll.”

Kyo reached up and get that two. Seal the fish in here. It was a marking written on it for water so it will survive when it is sealed. The water already inside of it would just make the fish comfortable.” Kyo took both scroll and went on to his room to change into his ninja gear. He started to re read the mission and notice the mission location was not to far from here. The docks are close by. Kyo left after yelling good bye onto the docks. It did not take him long to reach the docks, when he was near the docks he could see men poking the water with their fishing nets. He then rushed over to one of them and spoken. “Are you guys ordered the mission to catch those fishes?” The man stopped and then stopped all the guys who was with hm and spoken. “Fellas we are at ease, the shinobi is here to help us.”
Kyo looked at them and saw that all the fishing equipment were failing. He started to speak to them hopefully to get an answer. “Someone explain what’s going on. Please?” The man who was talking answered and gave his two cents of what happened. “The crate of exotic fishes has fallen near this dock. Apparently most of the fishes that live in this area are mostly shown in the docks in the mornings. We don’t know why we just know that is the case. The fishermen and I had stopped the create of fishes from moving. There are three boats outside of this dock. They formed a 10 by 10 perimeter so that the fishes would stay here and not leave. Unfortunately a large amount of native fishes are still here and are food for the exotic. We have done all we can now it is up to you.

Kyo looked at the area of the fishes and exotic fishes all around the area. The native fishes were fast enough to avoided the exotic fishes but some of the exotic fishes were smart enough to adapt to them and were setting the native fishes as a disadvantage. He had already seen fishermen poking in the water to stop the exotic fishes. The mission was not going to be as easy as the last one. Meaning that this was still strikes him of using fire ninjutsu. Water would withstand the fire of the jutsu he would send out. Even if the water reaches its limit there is a chance that the fishes could get barbequed. Even though this would have been a good idea the chance of getting the native fished fried was an automatic fail. How could he be able to restrict them of movement and catch them at the same time. Kyo started to close his eyes and think.
“Restrict movement, how could I restrict them of movement and still get them at the same time? Why do I have a feeling I have asked this before. “ As he was daydreaming the scene changed from him and his mentor outside of the backyard training his lightning style. Kyo was starting to breath heavily and his mentor shown signs of getting warn out as well. He looked at Kyo again and began to speak. “To restrict movements of another shinobi is going to be hard if you cannot face them head on. A small tool that would help is to cut off their senses. One senses that seems to be overlooked by many shinobi is the eyes. If you can cut vision from them then you will be able to have enough time to counter attack or flee. I have thought you that jutsu and your almost perfecting it. Once more try to blind my senses Kyo. “ Kyo looked at his mentor and then nodded as he then started to charge lightning in his hand as he then spoken.

The sense cuts here with his eyes opening and then he spoke out the same words that he was going to say. “Lightning orb.” He then look at the fishermen and spoke to them. Go on and take a row boat with a two cases and 2 fishing net for each boat. Go on and do that for me. I need each one of your friends here to join in the other boats and prepare to catch some fishes. Make sure you separate them with exotic to native got it now go!”

As Kyo gave them the orders he started thinking to himself a plan that should be able to work. “Alright, judging from the distances from one to another I would have use C rank Body flicker if I want to make it in time to do them all in one shot. Then I would have to set three D rank lightning orbs down leaving the fishes to swim away from the light to the last one without light. Judging from this plan in order to do one full motion it would give me 3 C ranks, for the movement in three boats, and 3D ranks, setting one lightning orb in the direction of each boat. It gives me about 4 C ranks with a D rank cost of chakra. That’s more then half of my chakra. If that happens we can get the majority of the fishes out of there. Then all would have to do is send another lightning orb down, which will use 5 C ranks of chakra and the fishermen would be able to take them all out. If the plan still hasn’t work then I have something for a last resort. I believe this plan will work. It is time to get this plan into motion.

Kyo Started to look out at all the fishermen who was ready with their fishing nets to capture all of the fishes. He then started to yell to them. “Listen up everybody we will be blinding the fishes so they cant tell were to go. We are going to set a light in the docks and left and the middle boats so they can retreat to the side of the right boat. That boat will have to take out as many fishes they can. Once that happens we will be able to use the light once more and the distracted fishes will swim everywhere and they can be captured by all of you. Everyone understand?” Everyone nodded and gave him a thumbs up about the plan. The plan seemed to be in effect now it was to actually do it.
Kyo started to form a hand sign as he focused chakra in his palm and focused it in the water. He sent out a charged light ball to the water and a few seconds later that whole area was filled with light. With one done he flickered his body to the second boat and started to light that one up and exploded to a beam of light. Kyo flickered himself to the third one almost losing balance, the light was starting to effect his eyes to. The fishermen he was talking to earlier help him up and noticed that the light was taking effect as he set the third light ball out in the water. The water was glowing light and bright with the exception of the third boat. He then noticed the fishermen starting to pick up the fishes and putting them all in the bucket. When the lights stopped they quickly started to sort them out as they spoken. “17 out of 20 exotic fishes are here. We just need three more.”

With the jutsu he made and the two trips to boat that was on the left and the one that was in the middle it cost him 3 C ranks plus a D rank of his chakra. That trick got him to get 17 out of the 20 fishes out of the parameter. He started to get up and close one of his eyes as he then started to do another hand sign and focused lightning chakra again. This time it rises in the air and was in the middle of the parameter and it landed down to the ground as it touched the water the light beamed off once again. This time the fishes were all confused and were swimming in circles. A fisherman in the left boat caught one, the fisherman in the middle caught one. And the last one was caught by the fishermen in the right. That was it all 20 was now caught. He let a sigh of relief as he landed on the boat spending more then half of his chakra on the jutsu. The fishermen then spoke to him. “Fellas we did it. It was all thanks to this lad. Don’t worry lad we will get you back to the docks and let know of the administration building of your success. I also have something to give you when we get back okay?”

Kyo nodded and then they all went on and packed up their things and headed back to the docks with the task of exotic fishes and native fishes. They sent the native fishes back to the wild and kept the exotic fishes. When they all exited the boat the man stopped Kyo and then shook his hand. “Thanks for all you done. If it was not for you we would have had a bad fish season. Here take this as my gratitude it’s a par of sunglasses. This was my nephew’s pair of glasses. I have no need for them but after you using so many light balls I think you need something to protect your eyes. Take this and enjoy alright sonny. Are you going to be okay to go home?
Kyo smiled and then nodded to himself. The light effect did not last too long and he was coming back to adjusting to normal light. He looked at the man and took the sunglasses and gave him a hug as a thank you. He then spoken out to him remembering something. “Yea I will be alight. But mister I need to ask you a favor. I know your taking these exotic fish away I was wondering if I could have one. My mentor wants one of these exotic fishes you see. I swear we will take good care of it no problem.” The fisherman paused some as he thought as he then started to go out and go to the box with the exotic fishes. He took out a bag and filled it with water and took one of the fishes out and placed it in the bag. He tied it up and walked back to kyo. “Here you go sonny it is the least I can do. Now go home its been a long morning. We can do fine now.”

After Kyo herd that he nodded and waved his goodbyes. As he left the dock he was holding onto the exotic fish. He walked for a while till he thought it was a good time to seal the fish. He unrolled the scroll of his mentor and sealed the fish inside of it. Once it was inside of it he rolled it back up and then placed it in his pocket once more. He was walking back as he herd a growl. He looked around to see what it was. He had an uneasy feeling the same uneasy feeling in his first mission.

He looked around and took out his kunai ready to fight as he herd another growl as he then started to look into the direction of the growl but to his dismay something landed from behind him. He looked back and saw the same eyes and the same fangs from before. This time it was different. This time he saw what it was, a tiger. The tiger looked at him and prepared his legs for a pounce. This was not good, Kyo used up about half of his chakra already. He did not have time to deal with a tiger. He then thought of a way to slow him down. He started to focus his chakra in his kunai as it started to glow with lightning chakra. With the electrified kunai it should be able to slow the beast down. There was not much time to think it pounced up to Kyo as Kyo jumped back and then threw his kunai to the ground. The tiger landed on the end of the kunai and felt a sharp sting as he felt his legs being paralyzed. He growled at Kyo wanting more but he couldn’t move as he once could and it was concerning the tiger. Kyo looked at the tiger and thought to himself.
“I must retreat again or else I will be wasting more chakra then I have. It will increase my chakra usage to 5 C ranks and a D rank. A C rank flicker would get me far enough so I can go on my own and not have to worry about the tiger. So long” He flickered away from the scene and appeared to a road that would lead him to the direction of his house. And so he went on home as the tiger’s paralyzing effects word off as he then growled loudly and disappears into the shadows again this time with a kunai between his mouth.
