| It's days like these that I just want to fall into the pits of endless memories. It's these days that I want to uncover those hidden memories lying deep inside my conscious. I want to uncover my frostbitten memories. My memory fades slowly as I sink slowly into my moonlight misery. The misery that causes my anguish in this world. My perspective on what we call earth has changed over the months I have been in Kumogakure. Lightning is what moves me to seek for the rage of the sky's and damm my enemies, no matter how small or big. These are the days that I start to learn what it is to be a shinobi. The history behind the name bring me delight because I am a part of history. It's my wish to be known by the nations and my name to be spoken by my enemies, not in blasphemy but there blessings. That is my ambition, to become a legendary hero. Not a pseudo hero who will only look for fame and fortune. He wanted to be different from the rest, he wanted to be a monster of hope, a beast of respect, a vampire of hope. He wanted to be the ray of light that will resurrect the white rose among the garden of red roses.
~~~ "Winter days are filled with sorrow," Akashi whispered under his breath, "Only my tears melt the frost away, revealing the slim rays of hope from my body." The color of his cheeks were a mix of rosy red and a cool, silvery white color. The wind licked his cheeks in a taunting way as his face grew whiter and his rosy red nose grew redder. The sky was colored gray like the mountains below it. Akashi always enjoyed coming to the mountains to enjoy the view. He could never climb to the summit but he has managed to climb a couple hundred meters the mountain which is a great accomplishment since he started from the bottom of the mountain. He was scared of climbing the great mountains because he was kind of afraid of heights. Vertigo is just a human restriction. Think above it and you will succeed. His childish features were locked solid into a pensive state of mind that would even get a educated scholar into thinking what he is thinking about. His thoughts rumbled like the thunder in the Lightning Plains.
He sat under a pine tree, its branches were filled with snow from last night's blizzard. The animals have gone to hiding so the only noises around was the crunching of the branches and the licking wind that licked the barren sub-arctic environment. The place was almost as dry as the deserts of Suna and the life around was as dead as a corpse. It was a hard time for Akashi, his mother has been gone for days and he is unsuccessful on getting a mission of his own since most of his Genin comrades have taken most of the good missions. He thought it would be a good idea to come to the mountains, to look at the sky and hope that his mind would clear but the complete opposite happened. His mind became clouded like sky that lies above him. A storm approached from the east, the Lightning Plains. It wasn't unusual, but it was rare that the storm will hit because the mountains block most of the moisture from going across. If it does go across, the precipitation will come down as snow.
He woke up early in the morning and he looked at himself in the mirror and fixed his messy brunette hair, which tends to always be messy. He quickly changed and went to his kitchen to prepare something to eat and he saw a note left by his mother stating, --- "Dear Akashi: I have gone on a mission, be back by tomorrow." --- His mother has been going on a lot of missions lately and that has him worried, it is very unusual for his mother to go out on so many missions. There must be a crisis going on somewhere outside the village. He wasn't worried about her safety because she is a strong kunoichi but he had so many thoughts about his upcoming future so now he lies there in the mountains, alone and he just awaits for visitors to comfort his anguish and help him clear his mind.. |
| Okashi had been awoken to the blistering cold of today’s weather. He tossed and turned for about five minutes before giving into the earth’s rude awakening. He started out his morning as if it was just any other day. He sat at his table poring himself a bowl of his favorite cereal "Cookie Crisp". He wondered who would have thought of this wonderful idea of making miniature cookies and eating them for breakfast. As he ate his cereal he thought of what his daily plans where for today. He couldn’t think of anything fun or relaxing to do. So he decided to go with the flow of today’s outcomes. He walked out of his apartment complex hoping to find his inspiration for today’s fun. He headed towards the market to buy some flowers for his parent’s grave. He told the cashier "What a lovely day it is isn’t it?" the cashier replied "That it is. So Okashi I assume you’re heading towards your parents grave am I wrong?" "That you’re not, Goodbye Sir and take care" Okashi said as he left the store. He finally arrived at the grave yard suddenly memories of his parents flushed into his mind like a rapid river caring sediments. As he finished his prayers he decided to head up towards the mountains to be alone and think. The blistering cold air hit Okashi in the face has he tried to cover himself up with the little amount of clothing he wore today. “Damn this blistering cold I hate the winters as I hate the summers why can it be spring or fall all year long where it is not to cold nor to hot.” He said has he walked down his usual trail up his favorite mountain where he does most of his thinking about the future. “But I do enjoy the occasionally beauty of this trenched weather.” As he continued down his trail he noticed a young boy not too far from his age he called out “Hey! , What are you doing up here by yourself.” He questioned the boy. |
| “Hey! , What are you doing up here by yourself.” Words came from a foolish boy not to far from him. He gazed at him with a peculiar stare and then he looked up at the sky. What kind of idiot goes around and asks for peoples business like that! Akashi has finished analyzing his status in the village, he seemed familiar. Ahhh! Yes, the Academy. I remember now. Aisu Scythe sat beside him, thirsty for blood but it wasn't the right situation to go up to the boy and slice his head off. He didn't want to be rude but the boy ticked him off with his arrogance. He looked towards his direction and frowned, "Did your mother not teach you manners? You're suppose to introduce yourself to a stranger not arrogantly approach them and make yourself seem hostile!" He slowly got up and picked up his long scythe, which was almost as tall as himself which isn't much, he approached the caramel colored boy who had a Kumo headband wrapped around his bald head. He was slim like his scythe, but he can tell that he had a sense of power inside of him. A tiger ready to explode! He didn't need to worry because Akashi was a monster wrapped around a soul. He swung his scythe in a complete circle, he spinned it faster and faster that if anyone looked at it they would get dizzy. The aura coming off of it was as cold as the air around it. He got closer to the boy and he pointed the scythe straight towards him but then came to an abrupt halt when it came close to his throat.
"Koori Akashi, owner of the legendary Aisu Scythe, I hail from Kirigakure but I serve Kumogakure." With his free hand he pointed towards his Kumo headband and then he moved the scythe closer to the boy and he whispered, "I don't need to know who you are.. because I already know about you." He expected the boy to be stunned as he said, "Your name is Hara Okashi! I remember you from Academy, we never talked but I always remember seeing you." He chuckled and put his scythe down and strapped it to his back. He extended his frostbitten hand for a handshake and he gave a cheesy smile, "How've you been?" He hope he didn't scare the boy, he only wanted to fool with him but it was kind of rude but on the other hand he wouldn't mind staring a fight out here in the cold... maybe it would clear his mind. He hasn't sparred in a while but he could spar him some other time, he needs to hone his abilities for he can understand the somplexity of his kekkeigenkai. He needed to learn how to manipulate his element, Hyouton. He also needed to upgrade his weapon, a scythe was getting to boring for him... He needs a mentor and a companion to help him hone his abilities. That's his new quest, to find a master. |
