Leon stretched as he left the Mizukage's tower, from the floor where the missions were handed out on. It was his first C-Rank, something much more prestigious than the multitude D-Ranks that he was forced to take on every other day. Luckily for Leon, all the D-Ranks that day had been handed out and he had managed to convince the secretary into giving him a C-Rank. Of course, there was always a condition, and this time it was to bring a fellow Genin designated by the secretary with him for the search experience. It was an old friend from the Academy, and they had worked quite well together back then, so Leon wasnt that worried about having him tag alone on the mission. The secretary had said that he would send out a message to the Genins house announcing he had a mission, so Leon had asked the secretary to tell him to meet by the coast line.
As soon as Leon left Kiri, for some unknown reason, the mist cleared up and Leon was able to see out along the coast much clearer. He didnt even have his sharingan activated, so that wasnt a hampering issue while looking for the fisherman, but it was still annoying. Stretching, Leon grabbed a couple rocks and began skipping them across the ocean, waiting for his partner to get there. The longer it took, the less likely it would be that they would find the fisherman, as dusk was coming quickly and while the ocean had a deep orangish red tint to it thanks to the sun setting on the horizon, but looking across the opposite way, pitch black storm clouds were funneling together, seemingly fuming and angry at the ground. It was a very unnerving contrast, Leon shivered thats to the site and the cool, moist breeze that came from the storms side. It was hard to describe, but it was like Leon could feel the rain in the air, and in the breeze, a bad omen when it came to storms. By being able to feel that, it increased the intensity of the storm, or so Leon though. Somehow, this mission suddenly was going to be more trouble than it was worth if his partner didnt get there soon and they didnt find the fisherman as soon as possible. Stretching and moving behind a rock to avoid the unnerving breeze, Leon faced the village and waited.

| Nibui left his small apartment in a hurry. ’Dammit I overslept again!he thought as he ran out the door, practically tearing it off the hinges as he ran through it and practically jumped down the stairs, his gourd on his back and items in this ninja pouches. As the young Koori bustled loudly through the streets, he payed no attention to the civillians and other shinobi wheo were going about their buisiness. He had recieved a message (which had rudely awoken him) earlier about meeting his other genin.
As Nibui got outside of the village, the telltale mist, which was the namesake of the village cleared up inexplicably, the coast becoming much clearer. As he made it out to the cost a storm suddenly picked up, pitch black storm clouds were funneling together, seemingly fuming angrily at the ground as the wind picked up, blowing debris all across the coastline. Pulling the hood of his jacket up Nibui looked around the coast for some shelter from the wind. Convinenenly he found a tall rock which if hidden behidn would protect the hider from the curse of the wind. Leaning up against the rock and looked over only to find the genin he was searching for in the first place, “Shouldnt we be out looking for this bitch Leon?” he said as he hid behind the rock to stay clear of the increasing winds. He had known Leon from his days at the Kirigakure Academy.......’Damn that seems like a while ago‘ He thought as he awaited a reply. |
