| Rain Dance.
Over the last week, a storm had struck the majority of the shinobi world, causing a downfall of rain across the north-west and thunder, lightning, hail and even flash floods delaying, cancelling and interfering with shinobi duties, whether it was a mission or just an errand, it was often hard to work around storms such as this. Arashii and his land of Kirigakure no Sato however, managed to only receive the secondary waves of this natural down pour. It was usually the islands of Kirigakure that was faced with these fierce weather conditions but over the last week, the worst they saw on the main island; where the Mist Village was located, were a constant light showers, and the occasional thunder and lightning. Because Kirigakure managed to fortunately evade the eye of the storm, it was much easier for them to continue on with their duties, errands and tasks. Arashii being the Mizukage constantly had a large workload, but over the last few weeks in his absence, the workload was handled quite well. He expected to return to the Mist Village to have a never-ending pile of paperwork to complete. He however was astounded by the effort his civilian and shinobi colleagues that worked for him in the administration building did for him in his absence. It was a blessing for the young Mizukage who had a lot to prepare for the upcoming Chuunin Examinations, that were to take part in the Mist Village as he suggested them as hosts for the glorious event. Arashii had a lot on his mind following the Kage Summit, especially regarding the identity of the ominous and mysterious Kazekage. But sticking to his task was something Arashii always excelled in, he wouldn’t let his emotion attachments to any current situation let him avoid his true contentions here, which were to keep the Mist Village striving for the moment; and that meant every way possible. Because of this, Arashii had called in a Kirigakure Chuunin under the name of Rigid Hanzoui. Arashii hadn’t been able to put a face to that name so far, but he had an entire file on the shinobi like many others and had a brief flick over it before the youngster was scheduled to meet with the Mizukage. He spoke to himself very softly, reading out loud. ”Rigid, fifteen, red hair, taijutsu.” These were some of the words Arashii spoke as he scammed through the Chuunin’s file. The boy seemed to fit the criteria for what Arashii was looking for, but in saying that; the Mizukage wasn’t looking for very much, just another shinobi to undergo a mission for him. Arashii opened the desk to the left as he sat in his office, throwing the file on top on a few other ones he had read during the day, closing it as his right hand lingering back up to a tea cup with his herbal mixture sitting beside it. He poured some of the mixture into his boiling water and milk as he stirred it, taking a sip as he leaned back into his chair. As he drank the tea, it made him begin to appreciate the hospitality he had in Tea Country, the tea there really was outstanding. The Mizukage sat comfortably in his chair, waiting for his next appointment to arrive.

| Sitting at the table which resided in his living room, Rigid had a plate of the usual healthy stuff he would eat. This included; carrots, spinage, meat, brocolli and some squash. Upon the plate, resting was a knife and fork which was seemed to be used for the dinner that Rigid prepared for himself. Sitting quite nicely next to the plate and cutlery, was a cup of tea which would get him energized ready for the day's work which he knew was going to be quite stressful. Being an experienced chunnin in Kirigakure, he knew what would becoming to his sight and ear drums. Rigid was sitting on a cushion with his legs grossed, he reached out his slim hand and picked up the cup of tea. Pressing the cup to his lips, he gently tipped the cup upwards. The tea swam down into his mouth and down his throat. Rigid brought the cup down and put it back on the table, "Ahhhh.... Rigid looked at the clock and it was time for his meeting with the Mizukage, he was never late and wasn't going to begin to make one. He pressed the palms of his hands on the table and lifted himself up, he wasn't quite ready so he walked into his room and attached all of his gear. This is included all of his weapons and also his main attire. Once pimped, he made his way out to the door. When his face, hit the outside a sudden blow of wind came and hit his face. Rigid smiled at the mist and rain which was dominating the air and earth. He turned left and walked down the stairs. The house that Rigid lived in was over the other side from the Kage building so it was going to be quite an enjoyful little stroll. Many people were not out on the streets due to the miserable rain which kept the civilians prisoners for most of the time. Rigid was now arriving to the kage building, he made his way up the stairs which were quite many in numbers. Arriving at the Mizukage's door, there was a plate of silver nailed on the door saying 'Misukage's Office'. His hand reached up to the middle of the door and knocked, while his other hand was twisting the door handle and pushing. "Mizukage?..." Rigid let out of his mouth. |

| The Mizukage eagerly checked his clock to see whether or not his Kirigakure shinobi was running on time, it seemed that the boy had a bit more time to get here than Arashii assumed. The day was just running to slow for Arashii to just sit in his office, unfortunately though this was a luxury he was all to use too. The sitting behind the desk all day, the continuous cups of tea following soon after the break to the restroom, not to mention the never-ending paperwork that imprisoned him to his own office. But with the majority of the paperwork being completed before Arashii’s return to the Mist Village, time felt to move even slower than before. The paperwork may have been boring, and not the highlight of Arashii’s career, but at least it had kept him preoccupied during the rainy and sunny days a like. The young Kage awaited Rigid’s company impatiently as it had been a few hours since his last appointment and had already grown restless of his own thoughts.
Fortunately for Arashii, a knock finally found its way to Arashii’s large office door, which was recently replaced due to the damage Ahora had done to the last one; once again. A voice lingered behind the wooden blockade as a figure immerged in his office. It was indeed the figure of Rigid Hanzoui. Arashii placed his tea cup on his table before the Chuunin got a view of the Mizukage. He gestured the boy to enter with welcoming words accompanying his body language. ”Rigid, I’ve been waiting for you, please come on in.” Arashii said with a surprisingly comforting smile. He glanced up at the clock on his wall, before turning his attention back to his guest who had approached his desk. ”You’re early, I really appreciate that. I was getting a bit restless here-“ Arashii paused for a minute as Rigid came closer. ”Please, take a seat.” The Mizukage requested as he gestured again toward one of the two seats that sat before his desk, on the opposite side of the priceless wooden furniture. ”Rigid, if I’m not mistaken this is the first time you have been in my office? The question was rhetorical, as Arashii knew the answer, he had already requested that the appointment archives were to be checked for Rigid’s name. ”Your father however, I have had the pleasure of meeting with in my office on more than one occasion. It’s a real shame, if he had learnt how to control chakra he would have been a fine shinobi.” Arashii said, complementing the boy’s father, whom was a well-known civilian in the Mist Village. ”Now that truly makes me question you, neither of your parents had the ability to be a shinobi, yet you have excelled at the life-changing decision and have managed to become a Chuunin of Kirigakure at the age of fifteen.” Arashii smiled as his guest remained silent for the meantime. ”Bravo is all I can say.” Arashii said as he suspected for his guest to finally response. Rigid’s courteous manors to let the Mizukage finish speaking before he responded really pleased the young Mizukage.

| Rigid stood patiently at the door awaiting the Mizukage to invite him in, his hand was on the door handle ready. When he heard Mizukage-sama speak, he turned the handle and pushed the door. Rigid followed the door in, when he has fully entered the office he gently pushed the door back to its frame"Oh... I thought I was exact on time" the news that he was early saddened Rigid. Mizukage-sama asked Rigid to sit down and as he didn't want to be rude, he walked up gracefully to the seat which was to the right of the kage. Rigid grabbed the top back of it and tugged it backwards, he then sat down on the chair. He hoped that his weapon's would not hurt any of the furniture as the office was quite a sight to look and be in. Rigid did not answer a couple of the questions Mizukage-sama asked as he knew that they was rhetorical and Rigid would look like a dumb person, if he was to answer them.
There was one thing the Mizukage said which Rigid wanted to put his own input in it. "Yes once I knew I couldn't control chakra that well, I majored in weaponry as it was the only way I could become a ninja. As that is my ambition" Rigid made sure that he kept eye contact with Mizukage-sama, this was to make sure that the kage would know that Rigid is being polite. "Why thankyou" Rigid replied to Mizukage-sama's words. However he knew that he shouldn't think he is all high and mighty because of what Mizukage-sama said, it was something to be proud of but people why better at combat etc. Has been given more praise. Rigid also noticed that the amount of paper work on the kage's desk was enormous, he would say something about it but he didn't want to speak unless spoken too. That is what makes a very well polite man. Rigid also noticed that there was a cup of tea on the desk, he only noticed this because he not that long ago had one which was very satisfying. Indeed the tea from the tea-country was very delicious and he now knew why it was called the tea-country. |

| Arashii swivelled his chair slightly to the left as the boy sat down. The conversation spurred as the Chuunin decided to response to the Mizukage’s kind words. Rigid was clever to seize this opportunity to react accordingly, a good first impression with Arashii could be the decider to whether or not a shinobi got to leave his office alive or not. At this point Rigid seemed to know how to handle himself in front of the Mizukage without appearing to be a spineless ass kisser. His contention did not seem to be to suck-up to Arashii, he was answering truthfully and politely, without an over exaggeration to lead Arashii to assuming he was there to kiss ass. Arashii leant forward in his chair, glancing at Rigid once or twice as he did so, before wrapping his index finger around the handle of his tea cup, picking it up and bringing it to his lips as he consumed more of the hot beverage. He held the cup in his hands as the warming sensation was embraced by his palms. The aroma of the tea lingered upward into his nostrils as he inhaled some of the steamy scent before taking yet another sip. He finally placed the tea cup back down on his bench. ”Surely, you must enquire to why you are here in my office?” Arashii awaited the boys reply before continuing on. ”Rigid, your presence here is actual vital to me, I require your shinobi services, and I don’t mean to put any pressure on you here but this is really important to me and I would like this task to be dealt with immediately.” Arashii reached down to the floor on his left as he picked up a back pack and placed it on the table before speaking once more, his tone becoming quite a serious one to the warming one he displayed moments ago.
”The content of this back-pack is to be delivered to a spy who resides on the east-coast of Nagi Island. All you need to know about this back-pack is that it contains a large sum of money for the task I require him to complete and a letter which explains what that task is. You are not permitted to read this letter; its contents shall never view by yours or anybody else’s eyes beside his, in which he will then dispose of it accordingly. Once this is done you are welcome to return home to ensure to me that the package was delivered. After three weeks you will be scheduled to meet with him in the same location again to get a package back, this package is not to be seen by you either and you are to deliver it straight to me.” Arashii leaned back in his chair as he looked the boy in the eyes. ”Rigid, this mission never happened, it is strictly classified, and you and I are the only two people who know of our involvement. Kirigakure has nothing to do with this mission and it will stay that way, you are to make sure that is not jeopardized. No paperwork will be filled out for this mission and you are not to inform anybody of where you are heading or why, if you complete this successfully for me however; a generous fee will be granted, as well as my trust; which is not something easily given away. If you manage to earn that, you will be held close to me, and that in itself can adapt you into an even stronger shinobi, if that is your ambition, then surely that is an offer you cannot and will not refuse.” Arashii opened the draw to his left and pulled out a mask that would hide Rigid’s identity for this mission. ”You are to remove anything from you that could lead this spy to believe you are from Kirigakure, if he finds out and he is captured, this could provoke a war, if he doesn’t find out and is captured, he will be seen as another spy lingering for information and interrogation will get Sunagakure nowhere. So because of this, it is best that when you meet the spy, you keep a safe distance from him, his a great spy for a reason he can interrogate you in seconds and find out everything about you, he cannot do that if he gets close enough. There’s nothing physically valuable in this package that will be harmed if you throw the package to him instead of exchanging it at a closer distance.” Arashii placed the mask on the table in front of Rigid, next to the back-pack. ”I want this to task to be dealt with straight away, however I am a considerate man. It is estimated that the storms will stop over Kirigakure and the Islands by tomorrow, so it is then that you are scheduled to depart, leave before sunrise, an anonymous fishermen’s vessel will assist you in navigation through Kirigakure’s Islands and over to Nagi. You leave your house, find a dark alley and place the mask on, do not leave the house with your mask on, I cannot stress enough how much this cannot come back to bite us, Rigid.” Arashii’s orders were clear, he had hoped he hadn’t missed anything and hoped Rigid had managed to soak in everything Arashii said, because one wrong move could endanger the whole mission. However, in the chance that this mission didn’t go to plan, unfortunately for Rigid, he was still currently and expendable pawn to Arashii. If he completed this task, he could most likely adapt into more than a pawn, but so far. Ahora has been the only person to reach such a level of trust with Arashii.

| As the Mizukage started to speak, Rigid fixed eyes with him. After a few minutes of explanation, Rigid stood up and brushed himself down. The mask was laid on the table ready for Rigid, he reached out and grabbed the mask by putting his two main fingers in the two eye sockets. He brought it to him and gently wrapped it in some cloth's. This would cover the mask from being seen by anyone in the mist village. "It will be done today" he smiled midely then made a quick swift around. Rigid was know facing the door, he kept the mask right next to his side, this was to ensure no one would be taking it away from him and if they did, they would pay the price no matter who they are.
He turned the handle on the door, then opened it calmly before making an exit. When outside, he smoothly pulled the door back into its frame until it clicked. Rigid then made his way back to his home, he did not need anything as he was already equipped with all that would be needed. When out of the Mizukage building, he walked to his house. After he made it to his house, he quickly went in. After a minute of him being in, he exited with everything he needed. Rigid did this because it would look like he has only just woke up and nothing is going on.
Making his way to the harbour, he picked up a little snack on the way. This was to insure he had enough energy to get the deed done. At the harbour, he popped on a boat and it began to sail towards the place he was going. Obviously the person who was controlling the boat knew where they was going, so without no words being exchanged they were off towards the village that Rigid's mission would start. |
