The skies finally started to clear up from the nasty weather that had welcomed Arashii back from his trip which was in Tea Country. The Lord Mizukage was the reason why the trip occurred, as he as Mizukage of Kirigakure requested the attendance of the Raikage of Kumogakure, the Hokage of Konohagakure and the Kazekage of Sunagakure to discuss a few political issues that needed to be spoken about, as well as the planning of the next Chuunin Examinations, which Arashii had the humble pleasure of offering Kirigakure as this year’s host village of the examinations. The Kage Summit highlighted some recent and important information like the collapsing of Konohagakure’ no Sato’s political and financial structures, resulting in total abandonment of the once Great Nation. With the previous destruction of Iwagakure, this only left three villages, and three representatives of each of these villages; these representatives of course were the respected Kages of each village. With the Chuunin Exams just around the corner, Arashii had to prepare the Mist Village for the task it was about to undergo. After all, it had almost been three decades since Kirigakure was host to the prestigious event and the shinobi world had changed a lot since then. Now, although every village was still out for complete domination, the approach was not has cut-throat as it once was, everything seeming to take place as treacherously possible as it could be done. Arashii had no real plan to use his strategic mind and his home-field location to his advantage him into a historical treason any time soon, for now his motives and contentions were to lurk very deep below the surface and as much as other leaders such as the Raikage can make accusations about Arashii’s motives, it would never surface until Arashii was completely positive it was time.

The Chuunin Exams really wouldn’t be the place to do this, as it wasn’t just the lands of Wind and Lightning that had shinobi partaking in the event. Yes, it was true that the Mizukage was after the Raikage and Kazekage’s approval for the event so both the Sand and Cloud villages would attend the event, it was more than just the three villages coming to prove which of their younger talents were worthy of the rank: Chuunin. Other countries with competing Genin were such villages like: The Snow Village, The Sound Village, The Rain Village, The Grass Village, The Waterfall Village and The Star Village. Which were all known to be mutual villages in these dark times of survival. These villages weren’t the only people to have guests to Kirigakure, after all the Chuunin Examinations were an international event. Such nations like The Moon Country, The Sea Country, The Iron Country, The River Country and of course; The Tea Country.

Arashii had the plans for the Chuunin Exams laid out, including what was expected for each stage of the examination, to what each exam was and to which arena’s and locations they would be held in. Arashii had ordered renovations for the old Chaos Arena as it was a suitable place for the third exam to be held, that exam being the traditional tournament with the audience of Kirigakure civilians and shinobi, along with all the guests that the village had for the examinations surrounding the arena floor; finally with the higher authorities and royalties on a higher balcony, and followed by the village-leaders and daimyo’s of the lesser nations who are attending, and finally the three Kages of the Great Nations. The Raikage, The Kazekage and of course; The Mizukage. Who all will be sitting in the one large box with a first-class view of the action.

The renovations were to start very shortly, the papers were already signed and the construction of the building was to be completed immediately. Shinobi and Civilians alike were all helping renovate the monument with help from hired help from outside the village, such as wandering construction workers that are hired to do jobs just like this. A lot of hired hands were there, but there was a large quantity of volunteers too, but they wouldn’t go without reward as Arashii made sure he got the name of everybody who volunteered to help renovate the arena so he could get their addresses and have a pay delivered to their homes. Arashii was generous in certain aspects, he believed somebody who works hard deserves to be rewarded, especially if it was for Arashii’s benefit; which this stadium was. Not only for the Chuunin Exams, even though they would be a brilliant host to the third examination, once Chaos Arena was renovated it would be able to be used much more often for other events.

For now, the renovations had to begin so Arashii found himself casually strolling through his village streets in one of his regular attire’s. No matter what he was wearing, he was still easily recognized by his villagers as the Mizukage of Kirigakure no Sato. So many smiles were sent his way, along with few words; greeting the Mizukage on his journey. Though it didn’t come without the few concerning faces, even if they knew what the Mizukage was doing out today, to see him was confronting and intimidating to some civilians, and even shinobi. But he was certainly somebody not to show respect too, Mizukage or not; Arashii was always quite a respectful person in the way he presented himself, both physically and verbally.

The Mizukage approached Chaos Arena, which was located on the Eastern side of the village, quite a distance from both the Mizukage’s Fortress, and the Mizukage’s Mansion. The travel didn’t feel like long, the Arena’s open roofing was seen from a distance as he got closer, taking a quick left as he took a quick detour, Arashii had a thirst and desired to be quenched and he knew of a candy shop just down the street he had just turned down that could do just that. Arashii entered the shop as he requested that the man could make him an apple and raspberry slushy. The man quickly fulfilled his Lordships order as Arashii smiled as the cold icy slushy was exchanged into his hands as Arashii left the appropriate money on the bench. He exited the shop to see two Chuunin standing outside of the shop. Without a word, Arashii knew why they were there. They were to escort Arashii the rest of the way, as he had already walked far enough on his own. It was mere protocol as they didn’t actually want anything to happen to their leader and would do anything to stop it, even if it was in their own village.

Bringing his mouth to the thick straw that poked out the lid of the slushy Arashii sucked a decent mouthful into his powerful jaws before feeling the cold sensation of it cool him. The weather was nice now, a rainbow crossed the sky, revealing five of its vibrant colours and the sun lurked behind it, peaking through the rainbow which made its colours burst out even more beautifully than before. Arashii continued his journey with his two escorts, even though the walk was short; he had arrived to his destination. An enormous cluster of shinobi and civilians had all gathered outside of the main entrance to Chaos Arena. Arashii slurped his drink and smiled, impressed by the massive amount of people that turned up to assist on the overhaul of their beloved stadium. Arashii lowered his slushy from his mouth and held it down near his hip in his right hand. Arashii raised his left hand, using body language as he projected his voice for everybody to hear. ”Thank you all for coming to help us with the renovations on our immortal Chaos Arena, everybody who has helped today will get a free entry into the Chuunin Examinations third round.” Cheers flowed through the streets as many of them were just happy to be there, getting out of their houses after the miserable weather. ”Each of you have been sectioned off into different groups who will work on different areas inside the arena and have different tasks, each of you have a project manager who will be hearing florescent blue helmets, they have the plans to what your task will entail you to do, so everybody. Get started, renovations are to be completely in three days if the weather does not delay us.” Arashii smiled, although only the first few rows were close enough to see it. All the supplies were inside the Arena, everything was ready. ”Okay guys, let’s perfect what he should have many years ago, let’s make this arena lively once more!” and with that last encouraging statement, everybody began grouping with their project managers and entering the construction site. Arashii would visit again when the project was complete; unless something urgent required his attendance. But he did not expect that, he knew how efficiently everybody would work and knew that the task would be completed on time. For now, Arashii would walk back to his office with his slushy and one of his escorts, as the second was there to help with renovations. Some would question why Arashii even bothered to come all this way, for just that little speech, but he truly believed that a speech such as the one that he had just given, coming from the Mizukage; would boost the morale of everybody and have everything running off to a quick and smooth start.
