Koujetsu Board Creation (Training topic) Vide

Wiping the thin sheen of sweat from his brow, Koujetsu walked in to his masters house, yet again, this time for an examination, not training. A test like this one was most common for Koujetsu, as he was given a random set of seals and expected to replicate them perfectly the first time. THat would normally be the only time Koujetsu saw the seals, but the masters ended up bringing them back up weeks, if not months later, meaning he needed to remember the seals the first time he saw them and wrote them. That in itself was hard, but the sheer amount of seals he was now learning mad eeverything a little more difficult without more practice.

As he entered the practice room, he was surprised to see four boards, snow boards as he remembered them being called on the television, sitting against the wall. Slightly surprised at their appearance, Koujetsu looked on the table for the folder that was always there, holdng instructions and seals, and intricately describing what he was supposed to do.

It was there alright, waiting to be opened and read. The well worn edges of the folder, along with the ink stains that Koujetsu had produced when he was first learning how to manipulate in were still there, along with the burn marks around the edges, from a time when he was rebelling against his masters and tried to eliminate the test. The masters however had expected that, and somewhere under his previous ink stains there was a flame proof seal. Sure the folder had burned, but it stayed intact, immediately opening Koujetsu's eyes to the world of possibilities seals could grant.

Yawning slightly as he opened the folder, Koujetsu's eyes grew wider as he read the details on what he was supposed to do with these boards. The sheer possibilities were amazing, and the overall creation process would be extremely enjoyable, even if he knew he was going to have an in depth explanation on atleast one of the three seals that would be placed on all of the boards. At the bottom of the instructions, there was a small note saying that these four boards were to be gifts to the genin team Koujetsu was on, be it from the masters, or Koujetsu himself. Thinking for a moment, Koujetsu decided that it would be wise to make it from both parties, and grant credit where credit was due.

Setting the folder on the table, open to the page with the seals on it, Koujetsu pulled out the bottle of ink and brush that was always stored under the table, and pulled the first board from the wall. Flipping the board so that in lay upside down, Koujetsu noticed the slightly uprooted portions on the bottom of the board, angled to where the back of the board would be. Looking over the seal list and description quickly, Koujetsu determined that those were to be the propulsion seals, and dipped the brush into the ink. Might as well put all the seals on the bottom. The designers paint was created to withstand wear and tear for ages, so it was highly likely that it was chakra enhanced t begin with, making it the ideal place to put seals on.

The first board took nearly an hour to complete, only requiring five total seals, but each one intricately different, requiring Koujetsu to focus on each seperate seal for an extended period of time, 12 minutes for such a small seal was alot of time, in order to burn it into his memory. *wiping his forehead of sweat again, but leaving a light ink stained streak, Koujetsu placed the first board back up against the wall to dry, content in his accomplishment. The second and third boards soon followed, and by the time Koujetsu reached the last one, the seals he was using were so ingrained in his head that the references were unnecessary, and the folder had long been closed, about half way through the third board.

Placing the fourth board against the wall, Koujetsu stretched and got up off the ground, where he had moved for ease of putting the seals on the boards. Walking out of the room, but leaving the door and light on to help with the drying of the ink, he moved to the private bathing area his masters had built for him, intent on scrubbing the ink from his skin. There was no point in trying to bottle this much ink and reuse it, it would waste too much chakra. That and Koujetsu had no intention of carrying nearly a full bottle of ink around with him, his vials were plenty enough for any seal he needed to create on the spot.

Returning from the bath, almost an hour later, Koujetsu walked back in the room, running a hand through his still damp hair. Sighing in relief as he saw the ink on the boards had finally dried, allowing them to be used. Picking up the brush and more ink, Koujetsu carefully placed a storage seal on his arm, wincing as the chakra sank into the skin and bone, a minor annoyance, and bit his thumb. Using the blood from the tumb, and applying a little chakra, Koujetsu slowly sealed the four boards into his arm to bring with him to his team meeting a little later, and grinnd at the prospects of actually using them.
