| The first part of the exams were over. Seoul was in shock when he found out the he actually passed the first test within the top portion of the class. Being told that he found a new swagger for himself. A whole new confidence that wasn't exactly in your face type of attitude but more of a confident personality. However the first part was over and Seoul new that was the easy part. The really challenge is just now about to begin. It's a new day and a new test is about to be dawned upon him. Today was the day. The day Seoul really began his focus to out wit and out work the others participating in the exams.
Sitting down to take an hour of meditation and to clear his mind and relax himself Seoul though of nothing but his ninja tools and a promising victory over the second part of the CE's. Seoul knew himself that was capable of overcoming any obstacle this exam can throw at him but he wasn't all to sure of how difficult it would be. Seoul was confident but a little doubtful seeing that his best suit was to fight. The paper exam was kind of luck and if the next exam his some kind of trap Seoul knew he would be in deep trouble. However he had to over come any fear or doubt within his mind and continue to do his best.
Now prepared mentally for the second test, Seoul made his way to the destination point to of the second portion of the exams. This part of the exams was deep within the trees of the Kirigakure upon a moderate sized creek the flowed slowly as the day was peaceful. Looking across the water Seoul counted out what seem to be nine stones set in a sequential order within the creek. Hmmm, seems like this part of the exams may not be as difficult as I thought it out to be. If all I got to do is get across this will be a piece of cake. Seoul though confidently as he made his way closer to the creek.
Before taking off Seoul thought once more. It can't be that easy. The proctors would never make the CE's so simple. After all the villages are looking for their best genin and future protectors of the village. Something must be really freaky about this test. Even so, that's only my theory and I have no proof of it. I must get across no matter what. Seoul had a decision to make. Stone 1, 2, or 3, which shall he pick? With a deep Sigh, Seoul decided to go left as he himself was left handed. Well, even the best fail sometimes. Seoul leaped to the stones farthest left with deep regrets of it. Let's see what this exam got for me. Seoul said with a voice of confidence.

| Arashii had been standing across the river for a while now, watching many Genin attempt to get past the stones. Each of these Genin were different, each of them possessed unique abilities, some that surpassed Arashii; even some that were possessed by Genin of his own village, that being Kirigakure. But Arashii had come to realize one thing, this exam was much harder than many of the Genin anticipated. Most of them seemed unprepared for the ranking of Chuunin. Arashii had taken many notes and was reaching the end of his pages on his clipboard, he turned it over to one of the last fresh pieces, continuing to stand there in his disguise so nobody would recognize him as Mizukage of Kirigakure. Arashii was wearing his old Jounin flak jacket along with his Kirigakure forehead protector, though he had it tightly strapped around his right arm. Finally, to cover up the majority of his face; Arashii wore a large breathing mask covering his mouth and nose, similar to that of the Amegakure village. His face was almost completely covered, as even his hair assisted in covering the flawless and notorious face of the Mizukage. The next examinee approached the other side of the river, on time just as every examinee before him, these Genin were really eager to get started on their exam. Arashii looked at his list before quietly speaking to himself. ”So you must be Yazamaru, Seoul..." Arashii knew the boy wouldn’t have heard him from across the river, Arashii was merely speaking to himself after all. Arashii flicked the pen across the paper as the ink began forming the boy’s name across the top. ‘Not one of the Sunagakure shinobi I’ve examined today has passed, let’s see if you can break the curse, boy.’ Arashii thought to himself as he smiled underneath his breathing mask.
The husky voice of Arashii projected across the river as he spoke “Begin when you are ready.” he said as he prepared to see where the boy would go. Seoul immediately leapt toward the stone on his far left, this stone was nicknamed the Sticky Stone by the proctors and this kid was about to find out why. ‘It seems the Sticky Stone is quite a popular stone today, it’s a shame only of my examinees have passed it so far.' Arashii thought to himself. People had better luck on stones one and two compared to stone three which was the Sticky Stone. As the boy’s feet came in contact with it the seal activated quickly causing the boy to stick to the stone by his feet. The sticky substance oozed from the stable stone as the boy was trapped. “You must free yourself if you wish to continue to the next stone.” Arashii said to the boy as he stood completely still on the stone. ‘If he struggles now, this one is over.' Arashii thought to himself once more, wondering if the boy had the wits to get out of this one correctly.

| The leap of Seoul was brave of him seeing that he didn't have any idea of what was lying in his future. Among the jump half way to the first stone Seoul noticed a guy standing across the river with what looked like a tablet in his grasp. Seoul landed and his eyes on this mysterious creepy fellow across the wearing what looked like a large helmet like covering. However, this guy did have a jounin flack jacket therefore Seoul assumed he must be a proctor. This guy seemed to be jotting down notes as Seoul made a move to his first stone. Man, I can't look bad here I must perform with intelligence to impress not only my family back home but this guys standing across from me. After-all, he is the most important right now. I Seoul Yazamaru need to pass this exam.
Yes!!! Looks like I picked the correct stone. Being ignorant to the fact that the stone beneath him has seeped out a stick like substance that has him trapped without notice. Seoul begin to take a half step back then leap for his second stone when he notice that his foot wouldn't move. Holy Batman!!! When did this stuff get here? yelled Seoul out in a voice of discouragement. Now with the substance sticking him to the stone Seoul had nothing to do but think of how to free himself and continue to the next stone. Without moments notice Seoul reached down and detach his tebi freeing himself from his own foot wear and the sticky rock. I guess taking my shoes off is better than wasting chakra. I just hope my proctor feels the same way. Fifteen seconds or so passed by when a sudden though came to Seoul's mind. I got it. Maybe this will do the trick.Seoul thought with a he formed a suspicious smirk upon is face.
Reaching into his ninja pouch Seoul pulled out his last two shiruken hoping that his new developed plan would possibly get him pass stone two without interference. Wielding the two shiruken Seoul threw both of them one headed toward stone six and the other to stone five. These shiruken would hit the stones in the same place in which his feet would land. After doing such Seoul waited to see what these two stones had in store for him.
After about five seconds or so Seoul knew just what he was doing. I'm wasting too much time here. Seoul though as the guys across the river was watching his every move. My analysis from hitting these two stone with my shiruken is that the stones will only active to a certain weight or flesh. Seeing that their isn't much for me to do in this situation i must continue onto the next stone. Well, here I go. Seoul said in a low voice to himself. I guess I'll go the shortest route possibly. Seoul thought as the only way out now is the way through. With no shoes to feet Seoul jumped forward to the next stone assembling handsigns on his way there.

| Arashii watched as the boy remained stuck to the stone. ‘He still hasn’t struggled but he doesn’t look like his progressing, this one may be over.’ Arashii prepared to call out to the boy asking if he wanted to submit until the boy reached down to his feet and pulled his feet out of his shoes. Arashii was shocked by this odd counter to the sticky substance, no other Genin had attempted to do this as of yet. Now the boy would be faced with another challenge as he jumped to the next stone. The ninja shoes created traction, something that bare feet did not. Now the boy’s chances of slipping when he landed upon the next rock. The boy got closer and closer to the stone until he reached one foot from the stone. The stone activated and sent out a rough repulsive wave of wind chakra which would bounce Seoul away from the stone not even giving him the chance to land on it. The Suna Genin turned as the wave of chakra reached him, because of the angle the wave hit him the burst of chakra sent Seoul flying high into the air above the creek. Arashii’s head shot up as his eyes followed the boy high into the sky. The boy was turned inside and out as the wind twisted his body. “How will he land this one.” Arashii thought to himself. The boy could land in the water and swim to the third stone but the creek was pretty shallow. Hitting the creek at such a height would surely hit the bottom if not done correctly, and hitting the bottom which such a force could break bones and even render Seoul unconscious and Arashii didn’t really feel like rescuing a drowning unconscious Genin so he actually hoped the boy could maneuverer his way to the next stone correctly; however he did it. |

| Just as Seoul seemed to make himself near the next stone all prepared to take on what ever the exams had coming for him, one of the most unpredictable things happened to him. The seal released from the stone and a Fuuton style jutsu came from within and blew Seoul high into the air. Flying into the air at a great velocity Seoul first lost his breath then slightly lost all control of his handsign and consciousness.
Reaching a maximum of one hundred feet into the air Seoul peaked out and began his downward fall. Little after this Seoul began to regain conscious and notice he was falling fast. With no time to think Seoul did only what was natural to him. With a quick session of handsigns Seoul then screamed, Animal Sealing: Wings of a Butterfly. Then a pair of brightly colored chakra sprouted from within his back taking the form of a set of Butterfly wings in which Seoul used to levitate himself down slowly landing on the stone safely.
Phew, that one was really close. Seoul said as as he wiped his sweat from his head. Seoul then begin to worry that thing would only get more difficult as he tried to continue. Standing their deciding on which stone to jump to next Seoul glanced over to the man stand and stepping stone closer. Not exactly catching the mans reaction it seem as if he didn't do anything. No reaction eh. This guy is really tough. I just want to impress him enough to get this over with and go home. Seoul was then nervous not confident in his abilities or that he would even pass this exam. Even so he knew a ninja had to continue with a mission no matter the outcome. Debating within his mind, Seoul had a decision to make. Stone nine or stone eight? Which shall I choose? Hmmm, I guess it doesn't matter now.
Seoul looked at both stones eight and nine. Stone nine! That's it I'm going for it. Seoul had his mind all made up and was ready to go. Hesitant Seoul thought more into the process. I can't just rush into this because I don't know what the next stone has for me. You know what forget it. Let's Go!!!! Seoul then bound his way to the next stone again with a handsign prepared for anything spontaneous.
Stone 9
- Quote :
Name: Animal Sealing: Wings of a Butterfly Rank: C Type: Ninjutsu Description: This is a technique unique to members of the Yamazaru Clan. By releasing the seal that takes the form of two thick vertical lines on the clan members body, they can release the special abilities which were bestowed within the seal using the clans unique Animal Sealing method. The user will sprout a large pair of decorative butterfly wings out of their back, which unfold as though a newly born butterfly coming out of a cocoon. These wings are powerful enough to allow the user to flutter in the air flying at a low level, users cannot travel too high into the air as it is more of a hovering/levitation. The user can use this technique for 3 posts at a single time, but it can also be canceled at anytime.

| The Sunagakure Genin picked up speed as he fell quicker toward the river as he got closer and closer he finally acted before it was too late, Seoul quickly stringed together a few hand signs and followed it by traditionally screaming the name of the technique he had just prepared. This technique was called Wings of a Butterfly and Seoul had stated that it was an Animal Sealing technique. ‘Animal Sealing? I have heard of a clan with such abilities but its name escapes me.’ Arashii thought to himself. He continued to watch Seoul as vibrant coloured chakra spurred out from his back forming a pair of butterfly-like wings. These wings allowed the Sunagakure Genin to gently slow himself down and levitate down onto the Repulsion Stone. Arashii thought to himself once more as he scribbled down a few notes. He watched the boy wipe sweat off of his forehead. ‘Seoul is the only Genin I’ve examined so far who has actually gotten past that stone.’ Arashii thought to himself. He wasn’t really impressed by the Genin’s technique but he was certainly intrigued. He waited for the Genin to continue on to the next stone, the final stage. The river flowed gently as the boy stood on the Repulsion Stone before making his decision. The boy looked conflicted; he wasn’t as arrogant as he was when he jumped onto his first stone, the Sticky Stone. Now near the end of this exam he really wanted to be careful with his final decision. The barefooted Genin finally leapt from his stone, going for stone nine. This stone was nicknamed the Flash Bang Stone, the boy got closer until he was three feet away from the stone. The stone activated letting off a flashing as bright as the sun and letting off a deafening bang. The noise was loud but not loud enough to effect Arashii very much, but even he had to shield his eyes from the bright flash and he was approximately fifteen to twenty feet away from the stone whereas the Sunagakure Genin was just slightly closer than three metres. Arashii wondered how the boy would handle this, being temporarily blinded and deafened, his balance would be put off and when his vision would come to it would still be blurry, how could he possibly land safely onto the stone, still taking into account his lack of footwear.

| The time was now. Seoul had to make the decision of all decisions. Which stone to choose? This could be the determining factor of Seoul hopelessly dream of one day becoming kage. Stone eight or stone nine? Seoul looked at both stone ahead of him. Stone nine came to the mind of Seoul as his final decision. Not just because it was the stone directly in front of him but because it was the shortest path between him and the rank of chunnin. It was then Seoul made his leap of destiny.
Let's go!!! Seoul yelled as he made his pounced onto his final stone with a prepped handsigns. Suddenly as Seoul become as close a three feet to the stone a light brighter than the morning sun hit and blinded Seoul immediately. Seoul knew that he had a task to pass but this was one he just wasn't ready for. Though he thought he was prepared this light threw him into a state of shock. With little to no time to react Seoul would smack his head hard against the stone possibly knocking himself out.
Too late to react Seoul crashed hard into the stone and fell into river barley conscious. The waters of the spring creek flowed over him violently as he hung on to the stone with the last breath of his life. Gurgling water as his lungs slowly filled taking his breath away Seoul fingers began to slip loosing grip to the stone. The only way now from a slow death is the mysterious man standing across the creek that seemed not to interested at all in the genins fate. The masked man at the time began laughing unmasking himself revealing his identity. Though Seoul couldn't picture who he was he still decided to to ask for help. Help!!! Help!!!! Seoul tried to yell as his voice was still rasp from regaining consciousness. The man ignored the fact that Seoul needed his help and continued to laugh as Seoul drifted away to his fatal doom. A waterfall not to far down the creek would be the final siting of Seoul.
Snapped back into reality Seoul didn't have time to think, but he knew that he wasn't far from the stone and exactly where the stone was considering he jumped in a straight direction to the stone. Panicked, Seoul fell into a state of shock nearly loosing control of himself and his jutsu which would have resulted into him falling into the river failing on his last stone. Still blind but the light that once took away his vision was soon to be clearing as Seoul his progress near the stone had came to a halt without notice. After gaining complete vision Seoul looked around and noticed he still has fell into the spring for he was as dry as the Suna's sands. What Happened? Seoul though to himself. Then looking down into his reflection Seoul realized that if he hadn't went into panic mode trying to halt himself in mid air that his wings that were still activated would have never acted the way they did. With intentions of stopping Seoul must have used his wings without any action of trying to but out of shear luck he hadn't ever deactivated the wings that were hovering him six inches over the water.
I made it. Seoul said with a weak voice as he clinched on to the last stone with his dear life. I can't believe that I actually made it! He said but this time in a more joyful manner. Seoul couldn't believe that he made it to the last stone without getting hurt or falling into the river. As Seoul stood to his feet he begin to regain all confidence back realizing the hardest part was possible finished. Seoul looked at the man across the and smirked as he himself (Seoul) was happy with himself for he made it. Seoul wasn't to sure if any of the other genin made it this far but he knew that it was good that he did. Seoul then jumped across to the land where as safety was his main concern at this point. Landing a rolling across the grass near the mans feet Seoul figured that it was over. How did I do sir? Seoul asked as he was beginning to get tired from the previous stones? Did I do good? Seoul then waited until the man replied.
Sorry man time is really a big factor with me...but I am trying so please don't hold it against me.
