| During the posting of the Chuunin exams first test was done, Kyo Ryuzaki was very happy to fast the first exam. He knew he was not out of the woods but he knew that he was one step closer for him to be a Chuunin. The reason he wanted to be Chuunin was out of two reasons. The first reason is to live in the village hidden in the clouds. When he was accepted to live and become a shinobi in the village there was a condition in which he had to agree to. This condition was to take part in the Chuunin exams. He agreed to the involvement of the Chuunin exams and wants to see this through to the end. Even though he met the minimum requirements to stay in the village, he feels as if he needs to do much more for the village to allow him to stay in the village. The second reason was for his brother, Blaize Ryuzaki. From the last thing he knew about his brother was that he was in the village hidden in the sand, calling that place his new home. He also achieved the rank of Chuunin earlier this year. He has not herd or seen Blaize lately so surprising his younger brother to be the same rank as him was something he wanted to do. Yes, it was true he was the older brother but, It was Kyo who entered and trained in a hidden village last. With the head start of his brother it seems Kyo has some catching up to do. It was fine, he was proud of his brother and his involvement in the village but, it was his turn to focus on what is at hand. The Chuunin exams.
“Hey, It seems that you have passed the first exam I see, hua Kyo.” Kyo opened his eyes widen as he turn to his bed, where the hidden mist provided shelter to all participants, and saw someone he thought he was not going to see in the whole exam. “Mentor, what are you doing here? Don’t you have some research to do for the hidden cloud village?” His mentor had took a trip to the hidden mist to see the involvement of his student, Kyo, he was the person that opened his home to Kyo and wanted to make sure that his student was keeping his spirit up for this exam. His mentor was holding out a scroll and handed it to Kyo. “So this is the second exam hua? This seems to be interesting don’t you think? Are you already for it?” His mentor asked him after reading the second exam’s summery. He then gave it back to Kyo as Kyo was now looking it over once more thinking before he chose his words to answer on what he was going to do. “Well let’s see now, we have to cross a stream in this village and the only way to cross is by going to one side to another via rocks. It sounds simple, until the fact that these stones have a hidden secret in them. The fact that it is secret should be a surprise itself but, what I want to know is why they tell us that these stones have traps in them. I mean wouldn’t the exam be more realistic if they do not tell us about the traps?” His mentor let him talk as he starting to think about his response. He believe he was thinking way to much about this, but it is alright to be a person to think things through. He started to speak as he was finished. “Listen Kyo, I believe the fact that they have told you is to see how you will take these traps seriously. You know the fact that they have traps in them; it is up to you how you will deal with each stone. So it is time to think of many ways for you to get across them. Either way you must step on each one and that is going to help you… pass…the…exam…good…luck…Kyo…” The last sentence floated away in his head as he opened his eyes. He was at the Chuunin exam area for the second exam. He viewed the proctor that was with him. He looked around the area and saw no one else was with him. This must have been a closed section or a closed time for each shinobi so that no one else can cheat on the exam. That was clever, for if a shinobi views another shinobi fail or passing they can try to re attempt this as well, or at least modify it a little bit. He closed his eyes once more and took a breath as he started to think to himself.
“Alright. I have my normal ninja gear. The only acceptation to my normal ninja gear is that half of my kunai is wrapped with wire that is could use in the stones. As well as my Giant shrunken is on its own scroll. The only thing I have to do is use my weapons wisely in the form of the traps. I am also not allowed to use the water walking jutsu and the tree climbing jutsu but, I do have a jutsu that is similar in use of the technique. “
He opened his eyes that he was closed and walked over in front of the first stone in his path (stone number 3) He started to take out two kunai with the wire attached to it. He started to jump straight up in the air as he threw each of the kunai at the stone. He then started to land on his feet, holding the strings attached to the kunai and waited for its effects. With that done, he started to snap his fingers as his hands and feet were now engulfed in flames. It was the basis of his KKG, the ability to control flames. For now he has to wait in what the effects of that stone would do before he can advance.

| Arashii approached the gentle flowing river outside of his beloved village, standing on the opposing side to which his examinee would be starting from. Arashii had a clip-board in his left hand and a pen in the right. He dressed quite differently than usual, in fact; one could say he was wearing a disguise. Arashii was wearing his old Jounin flak jacket along with his Kirigakure forehead protector, though he had it tightly strapped around his right arm. Finally, to cover up the majority of his face; Arashii wore a large breathing mask covering his mouth and nose, similar to that of the Amegakure village. His face was almost completely covered, as even his hair assisted in covering the flawless and notorious face of the Mizukage. Arashii approached stood across the river as his first examinee arrived. Arashii looked over at the boy, he was a shinobi of Kumogakure. Arashii appreciated this opportunity to scope out some of competition for his Kirigakure Genin. After all, Arashii was the proctor of the third and final examination, the tournament and Arashii couldn’t wait to match up pairs for the most intense and exciting matches possible. Arashii had just over twenty Genin to examine as an assistant proctor for this second round of the Chuunin Exams and he couldn’t wait to see who was good enough to get through this difficult exam and who wasn’t. This examination was held just outside Kirigakure, but it was hosted by the Kazekage as it was he who had sealed each of these rocks and who had come up with this idea. Arashii knew what to expect though it was going to be really interesting to see how the Genin would react to each of the stones they chose.
Arashii brought his pen to a fresh sheet of paper, scribbling the Genin’s name on top of this piece: Ryuzaki, Kyo. Arashii looked back over to the boy; his first examinee and spoke before the boy was to start the test. "I’m sure you know what you have to do for this exam, get to me on this side of the river, you can begin when you are ready.” Arashii spoke, the breathing mask altered the tone of his voice making it very husky and dark. Arashii held his pen near the paper as the boy began, his feet and hands became engulfed in flames. ’A pyromaniac, perhaps.' Arashii thought to himself as the boy jumped onto the stone to Arashii’s right, which was the stone to Kyo’s left. This stone would activate when the Genin came in contact with it and he did exactly that, his right foot hitting the stone first as the seal activated as a sticky substance instantly surfaced and glued the boys feet to the rock instantly, as the boys left foot hit he was trapped. The boy started to struggle, his feet still inflamed the substance started to bubble. The heat would slowly burn away some of the slimey fluid that held Kyo in place. Kyo began to struggle as his feet slowly released, the struggle assisted him to get out of the sticky mess only because the flames did most of the work. Kyo had successfully pass the first stone as he fell into the river before him. Arashii suspected Kyo’s feet and hands would extinguish once they had hit the water. The Genin of Kumogakure disappeared momentarily in the water as he resurfaced, the water wasn’t deep; even the shortest of shinobi would have been able to stand up in it once they had gotten their balance again. ’Most impressive, he could work on his balance though.’ Arashii thought to himself once more before calling out to the boy. "Advance to your next stone please." spoke his husky voice as Arashii jolted down some notes on Kyo’s examination page. The boy was permitted to swim toward his next stone as Arashii observed from dry land.
OOC: According to the map that Hugh has made you can choose between stones five and six. Good luck.

| Kyo Ryuzaki was able to get to the first round without many problems. The problem he had to face was the first rock was sticky with some type of substance. The thing he noticed before clearing the rock was the fact when his fire chakra was being eaten away from this substance it was getting easier to move. Although it did not take him long to figure the situation out it was not quick enough for him to fall into the water. He passed the first test, but with a embarrassing fall. When he fell to the ground he started to rise up as he was lying in the water hearing the proctor’s results.
He couldn’t help but smile at the fact he won the first match but he went to think for a few seconds. “Alright then, let’s see what we have. I have gotten to the first step but my method did not work. I landed a few steps out of my kunai. And with my fire landing on the water the flames on my arm and legs stemmed up the general area. It is now clear again but still, I will have to use it again before the second step. He said I can swim to the second rock but, I have to still be carefully. If I go to that rock again I may be set up to a trap that I cannot be able to counter it. Let’s see, my best bet would be the middle one, so when I clear that I have a better range of rocks to chose from in the next section after I beat the second stone. Now my best bet is to swim to the first stone. Use my kunai that I set from there and jump to the second stone. Although it may be hard, the stone in the front is sticky. I should be able to use the kunai one last time to flip over to the next stone. It is my best bet.”
As he figured his own plan he went to reach for his pouch, ohh no his wire was wet from the water. If he had to use it again there would be a chance were the wire would slip and meant the only use he had was the kunai bare. It should be good enough for him to stick the landing on the second one. He started to swim to the first stone now as he positioned himself so when he used the kunai it could have made him go to the direction to the next middle stone. As he focused himself he held his palms on the ending of the kunai and gripped his hands around the kunai. He pressed his palm to the kunai and started to raise his body up from the water. He felt the kunai sinking deeper in the sticky substance. He knew it was not going to last that long, he started to use his strength and then push himself up high into the air in the direction of the targeted stone. As he was in the air the kunai started to dangle itself and flatten itself on the sticky substance as he only managed to get a few feet in the air. Kyo then started to snap his fingers again as his hands and legs were engulfed in flames .He then started to take out two of his kunai from his weapon pouch and threw it to the stone hoping to let it lodge into stone. With that he was now reaching the peak of his push and was now positioned himself so his legs was facing the ground first and then started to go down the stone were the two kunai should be lodged in. He snapped his fingers again and in a few moments flames would have started to surround his body with flames. He did not know what was going to happen when he would land on the stone but; his body was protected with the spiral of flame around him. The last preparation act was in just enough time until his feet were planted on the kunai he had placed on the stone. (OOC: Stone number 5)

| Arashii watched the Genin surface, listening to his instructions to advance. Arashii watched the boy swim back to the first stone. Pen still in hand, Arashii moved his arm back over his head, scratching the back of it in confusion to why the boy was going back to the first set of stones. The stone was slowly beginning to deactivate as the boy climbed back on, meaning it wouldn’t reactivate yet. The sticky substance began to clear as it became obvious to Arashii what the boy was doing, he didn’t want to just swim over to the next stone and get annihilated by whatever was sealed within it. Instead he would go back to something to give him leverage to leap toward the next stone, this being the first stone; nicknamed by the proctors as the ‘Sticky Stone.’ Arashii watched the boy reactivate his jutsu as flames engulfed his hands and feet once more. The boy leapt high into the air with kunai’s in hand as he flames continued to engulf his entire body, the boy leapt toward the middle stone as the flames spiralled around him. Throwing the kunai at the stone, Arashii assumed this was a test to see if the stone would activate, and the stone did exactly this. The proctors had nicknamed this stone the ‘Fire Stone’ and Kyo was about to find out why, as he got closer to the stone a large uproar of flames shot out of the stone straight up and to both its left and right. The Kumo Genin was already surrounded by fire, surely a little more wouldn’t hurt him.
Arashii watched closely as the boy landed on the stone, disappearing into the flames that burst from the core of the stone. Arashii look vision of the boy. 'Is he still alive? He jumped right into the flames.' Arashii thought to himself, he thought to right down a few more notes but he had to be sure. There was no movement there besides from the flames from the stone themselves. They finally began to die down as smoke rose higher and higher, the flames were deactivated eventually and the smoke cleared, the boy stood there. No more flames spiralling around him, but no damage appeared to have occurred, he didn’t seem burnt. 'His technique worked…' Arashii thought to himself, surprised that Kyo had so far easily passed not one, but two of the stones. Arashii began to wonder if this test was too easy to be considered an examination, perhaps he was lucky enough to be dealing with one of the top competitors this year; Arashii wasn’t sure what it was, but he would certainly find out when he got back the village. ”Very good Kyo, please advance to your next stone.” Arashii told the boy as the Kumo Genin remained still on the middle stone.
OOC: You know the drill from here you can advance to either stone eight or stone nine. Good luck.

| (OOC: Choice of stone Number 8 )
As Kyo passed the second stone he decided to take a small break. He closed his eyes and replayed what just happened. When his kunai landed on the stone flame started to shoot up at him. Normally his counter would be just to let his flames burst out of him giving him enough momentum to get out of the way but he thought that if he could take the flame out with his own flame then the two could counter each other out. As this happened the “dragon’s” head started to rush into the flames as they started to combat with each other. Kyo did not know what was going on as he landed on the kunai as he noticed that the jutsu took up his flame from his hands and feet. The flame must have been at a greatness for it to not only take on his spiral but his own reserved flames that was on his hands and legs. There he was again feeling naked without his fire as the test seemed to come to a mid point, he passed the second stone. There was no time to celebrate yet. There was just one more stone left. How was he going to approach this. SO far his method of testing it out and countering it out was working. One more time he should be able to pass the test. For now he knew that simple kunai tricks were not going to help him out. If it was not for his photographic memory and his training method with this trick, his plan would have been impaired due to the smoke. He started to take out a scroll marked “Weapons” as he started to unroll it. As it did he undid a seal and a folded giant shuriken was now out of the scroll. He held this folded piece one on hand and rolled the scroll with the use of his hand and his chest. As it was rolled he put it in his pocket and then thought to himself again.
“Alright, just one more stone to go Kyo. I have already used up a lot of chakra just for traps as it is. The jutsu so far has been fire style jutsu and I don’t use as much chakra as if I had to with the other ones. This is not a exam to save chakra but I am at the final stretch. So far equipping myself with counter measures seem to work but the last one could be a trap to confuse the shinobi in this test. Although, I don’t know what to do at the moment. I have my giant shuriken, if I use that as a test medium like the kunai it has a higher chance of sticking to the stone and I can land onto of it. Let’s review what I have learned so far. The first stone let me used my fire as a way of getting out of the situation. Meaning that It can target you once you step on it. The second Stone shot a direct trap at me. The only way I countered it was for the flame that was around me. Alright, now that I know this what can I do? Hmm, well the obvious choice is to do a mix of the two. If I can use my kunai that I have used in the second stone as leverage then I can also use my shuriken as a decoy. So, the idea is to send the shuriken to the stone as another decoy. Then aim the shuriken out to one direction, then with my kunai coiled with wire I can raise it to the air to my feet and then use them as momentum and jump off of these kunai to jump and land in a different angle. So even if the third one is one like the fire stone I can go at a different angle and protect myself. If the Stone is like the stickiness of the first one then I can land on the shuriken and be safe that way. It is not a common way of looking at things, but this type of thing may work.”
As Kyo opened his eyes he got right to work. He started to take out two more kunai with wire attached to them. He started to take off the wire of them and tied them up to one of the kunai that were lodge within the second stone. He then took out two more kunai with wire and did the same thing. This time his wires were now triple length and strengthen then the original kunai with wire. He then started to snap his finger once more as his hands and legs started to engulf in flames. Then he started re snap his fingers as the flame started to coil around him once more as the flame spiral. The knowledge of the two stones would prepare him for the third one. He then moved on with his plan. He looked up and grabbed the shuriken in one hand and the two wires with the two kunai in the other. He to unfold the shuriken and then threw it high in the air. He quickly started to place a wire to his now free hand and looked up in the sky and then flickered himself in the air. As that happened the kunai were now dislodging itself out of the stone and rising up in the sky were Kyo now was. Kyo’s body was now on top of the shuriken as he waited until the shuriken reached his level and kicked it to the third stone. With his kick it made him rise higher in the air ad he flipped back. As his flip ended the two kunai end now hit his feet and with that he used them to jump at a higher angle. With this done he let the wire’s go and let himself fall down to the third stone. Because of his new height, the shuriken would now hit the stone before he would land on the stone. If there were no surprises before hand, he would land on the shuriken. If there was then he would land on the stone if the shuriken’s direction was compromise due to the stone’s effect. For now it is result time.

With the reasoning of what happened to the first two stones}Deductions Kyo is intrigued with the fascination of mysteries and detectives novels. Kyo has trained on his own and his dad's friend to think of deductions. by deductions he means taking a scene and thing of what has happened in that time. For example for seeing a disturbed tree, he would think what has happened like if a ninja was traveling along and stepped on its branches to continue the travel.
{Location of where the kunai were and was able to land successfully at the second stone even though there was smoke in the area}Photographic Memory: A great skill that kyo is grateful to be born with. The skill is to be able to recall what a person has seen as long as it has been within the persons memory banks. Though to perfect the skill. Kyo does try to give a longer look to what he wants to chose what things to remember.

| The shuriken hit the stone but unlike the second stone; it was not affected. Kyo would continue to fall toward the stone, most likely shocked that his shuriken didn’t work like his kunai did on the second stone. The Kumo Genin got closer as Arashii muttered to himself “Now time for the real test, the Monster Stone.” Arashii said quietly. The Genin got closer to the stone as it finally activated. Kyo would have no idea what he was in store for, a giant claw raised from the water and smashed down all the stones, pushing the wave to the side as hit dry land quickly hitting Arashii and dragging him down into the trees, tearing a few down as Arashii got pinned under a wave on a tree, finally disappearing out of Kyo’s sight. Surely the Genin would be intimidated if even his proctor was so easily attacked by this giant beast. The giant demon began to surface as he stood high up in the air, it was seemingly impossible that a beast this size could have been lurking below this shallow creek the whole time. The beast leaned back as it dug its left arm into the land behind him and placed his mouth in Kyo’s landing zone, which was the place where Kyo had to get to in order to pass this examination. The beast opened its massive jaws as layers of teeth presented themselves in its massive throat. If Kyo wanted to pass this exam he’d have to go down that dark tunnel that was the beasts’ mouth and burst out the back of its head to land on the land behind it. |

| As he reached his higher point, thanks to the kunai wire trick, he noticed his windmill shuriken did not work. He then smiled some knowing that this one had to be of a variation of the other two. Unfortunately, what was in store now would be something different. A giant Claw made itself started to rise up from the water and slammed it done on the stones as a huge amount of water started to lift itself up and around itself. Evidence of water still remained there as a demon was starting to make itself known here. Kyo was in the skies as he viewed this as he thought that the last stone must have been some kind of summoning stone. Though there was something odd. The large concentration of water, If Kyo remembered right, he did not land that far off the first stone to the ground. He was able to feel the ground before getting himself back up for the second stone’s test. But this monster started to use its surroundings to his advantage, Kyo only way out was to head out. He couldn’t change direction now.
“I have to counter attack; there is no time for this. I can’t think of options I only have a direct attack to get through this! What are my options? I need cover to get my direct attack down. Hey! My sunglasses!”
That was true. The time he had on the air was not for that long. His direct attack was going to happen but he wanted to be smart about it as he was going to attack the monster straight through. As that happened he started to take out his sunglasses and put it on him as he started to fall down towards the monster. The monster started to raise his mouth to him as he clinched his teeth and then started to do hand signs as he extended out as a large amount of light flowing out of his hands blinding the area in front of him. He was diving down to the monster as he focused his fire to top of his head and used that force to pierce through the monster before the monster would have the change to digest him. If not, then the monster should be burned enough to spit him out. The lightning was to blind and confuse his opponent and then go straight in for an attack. Because of the light the monster would have a rough time to predict his movements. The flame to the top resembles him going on a straight power attack. If he was to survive this is what had to be done. For the sake of his life, and for the sake to see his brother again. This damn demon is not going to have the right to end his life without making his and his brother’s life a better life to live in this world.

For example his lightning orb jutsu, the jutsu would put a less strain on his eyes if he has to use it in such close range if he is wearing his sunglasses. The glasses is only to help him see through the bright light on some of his jutsu. Other that that it has no real use other then a fashion statement.

| The monster was blinded by the orb of light that got closer and closer to it, shutting its massive black eyes as it opened its mouth even wider as Kyo disappeared inside it. The beast roared in its throat, the roar would be loud enough to temporarily deafen the Kumogakure shinobi as he went in so far, that there was no turning back. The boy was showing amazing courage, that of a true ninja. The next few moments would truly be the test in Kyo’s position. Everything would go dark for him as the beast’s jaws came to a loud close and the roaring came to a halt. The boy burst out the back of the beasts throat as he hit the ground with a thud, the beast would fall back into the river; destroying what was left of it as Kyo would turn and watch it all happen. Looking back over, Kyo would look over to his proctor who’s battered and bruised body remained pinned to a tree. The Genin would begin to crawl over, only getting in one or two pulls as the collision with the beast, following by the ground was just too much for his body to handle. The boy was rendered unconscious as he looked into what would appear to be the lifeless eyes of his Chuunin Examination proctor.

This is what Kyo would feel for the next five minutes, his eyes slowly opened as he awoke face down on the dry land, his eyes were blurry but he could feel a presence in front of him, as his eyes adjusted and focused he could see a pair of feet in front of him, traditional ninja shoes. Kyo looked up higher, following the figure higher and higher until he saw a clipboard, he was sure he knew who it was. Surely it was his proctor. The Kumogakure Genin looked higher, as his eyes met his proctors. The breathing mask was a clear give away, it was the Kirigakure Jounin who had been watching him the whole time. Kyo was sure he saw what he saw though, was he not dead. He examined his proctor momentarily as his eyes continued to adjust, still lying on the grassy surface. The proctor had not one scratch one him. “But, the monster… it killed you…?” Kyo questioned as his eyes focused on his proctors face. Arashii spoke back, his voice once again being altered by the breathing mask. “What you think you saw, was an illusion. It was supposed to feel real. It seems you had the will-power to pull through. Congratulations, you survived. Please head back to your headquarters in Kirigakure, your results along with everybody else’s will be announced tomorrow, get some rest.” Arashii replied. The boy did well. Arashii scribbled on his paper, the final result of the boy’s exam. He was Arashii’s first examinee for today and he did well enough to get to the end, but the question was, did he do well enough to pass?
Exam End: You can reply if you wish too, I would recommended it because roleplaying is what you are here to do, but I summed it up quite well. Feel free to add your characters personal feelings or anything else you wish to be displayed.

| The monster was destroyed, but at a high price. The moment he came to he looked up to the living proctor and after a few moments he was told he passed. He was also told the history of the monster, that it was an illusion of the stone. He started to get up as he felt his right arm bruised from the attack. He then started to close his eyes feeling the excessive use of jutsu after jutsu without too much of a break. He did not his mission and was glad he passed it but, he wish his chakra reserves were better than he had. Even though his KKG reduces the amount of chakra needed for fire based jutsu, he just wanted to make sure in the future he was better prepared. He then was given the passing grade he began to think to himself.
“Heh-heh so this is the effect of the last stone. Funny, it was different then the other two. I am glad that I was able to pass the last stone but having to go on a reckless attack like I did is something I don’t want to do to often. Although I had no choice but to do what I did. Darn it it did a good job to my arm. Its not shattered and I can move it but, it could be sprained. I don’t want this to fixate on the Chuunin exams.”
He tried to keep his arm still as he then started to take out a scroll and rolled it over with one hand. He then brought both hands up as he felt pain from moving the injured one. He did a hand sign and then a medicine cabinet came out of that scroll. He started to open it up as he took out an ace bandage and tape. He then started to focus his chakra on his hand and then a it started to glow green. It then started to transform its color to white as the chakra now resembled the flame he had use not too long ago. This was the color of his medical chakra. It did that without effort. He placed his hand on his injured arm as he then started to mend the bone and try to ease the pain. He made sure that the bone was fixated to be positioned were it needed to be. Once that was done he places an ace bandage around his arm as it started to stick itself on the skin. He then rolled up the rest of the bandage and then places his tape on the ending of the bandage. Once his treatment was finished he did a hand sign as the cabinet was gone and then started to move his arm a bit to make sure the bandage was snugged. He then faced his attention to his proctor. “Thank you for the final results sir. I guess I will see you of the later part of the exams. I have to go now to get this treated and ready for the next exam. Good day to you sir” He panted some as he then started to flicker himself out of the area and headed out to his hotel room.

~Word Count: 543~ ~Jutsu used: ~
Name: Ryuzaki Style: Healing Ember Type: Medical Rank: D Element: Fire Description: This is not something that is used in combat. This jutsu is main to explain why Kyo uses a different color medical chakra. While medical chakra is green, kyo could only form his medical chakra with white flames. The white flames, in this aspect, are his green chakra. While normal; medics glow with green chakra, Kyo’s chakra is a white flame. The Medical chakra is the same except the chakra give off a little bit of warm sensation to the patient its healing. Other than that no other differences the jutsu holds then the change of color and the very subtle warmth. Name: Hone Chiyu no jutsu (Bone healer skill) Rank: C Type: Medical Ninjutsu Element: n/a Description: A variation of Chiyute no jutsu. When an ally has broken or fractured a bone, this jutsu uses chakra which makes the body boost its calcium level. Using the extra calcium, Chiyute no jutsu is activated, but uses less chakra since the user already has the calcium to work with, but will only work on bone tissue.
