Mission Objective: A bandit clan has taken up residence in the rice field country and is raiding villages and robbing trade caravans, Sound seem not to care so your village has been approached with dealing with them. The Bandits while individually weak are very numerous and are based in a mighty stronghold and would be difficult to dislodge by anything other then substantial force. The bandits are a very unstable bunch and if the leader was to die it might well lead to internal conflict that could very well destroy the bandit threat from the inside. It is important the death look like an accident to avoid the bandit army taking revenge on the local population.

It was as the sun began to peak over the horizon, that Aki awoken from a good nights sleep, and readied for the mission that had been issued to him via messenger hawk from Kumo's intelligence department. So, with haste, he put on his netted shirt, jumped into his pants, slipped on his belts and shoes, and secured his gloves on his hands. Then, without even a minute wasted, he was out the door.

As Aki jogged towards the large gates that were the only entrance into the village, he thought about the mission that was at hand. "A organization of bandits are raiding Otogakure, yet the village seems to not care for the people affected by this act of anarchy. So then comes the question as to how I'm supposed to kill the leader and make it look like an accident." thought Aki, his face solid and himself as a whole focused on the details and success of the mission. Even as people said hello, and greeted him, he just ignored them and continued his advancement towards the gates.

Upon arrival, he stopped where he was and leaned against the fifteen foot stone wall as he waited for his comrade to arrive, as, in the mission details, it said that a genin known as Zilva. "Oh what a I surprise. I get to work with a genin for once. This should be quite an interesting mission." he said with a cherry atmosphere floating a bout his face.

Just yesterday, Zilva had been assigned a B-rank mission. Naturally, Zilva was excited to be assigned a higher ranked mission than she was qualified for. That is until she found out there was a catch. Zilva wasn't going to be doing the mission alone, she had been teamed up with a chuunin. This ruined the entire thing for Zilva and she had been sulking all night and woke up in the morning with a frown on her face. With a sigh Zilva crawled out of bed, got dressed and walked towards the front door. Before she could make it out said door, Zilva was stopped by a call from her mother that guided her to the kitchen. " Morning honey, I heard that you were going on a mission today so I woke up early and prepared some breakfast for you." Zilva's mother said with her normal sunny disposition. In her haste to get the day over with, Zilva had completely forgotten about breakfast and was happy her mother had cooked for her.

Laid out across there table was an array of breakfast food. Zilva's mom had every food imaginable from apples to zucchinis all on the long table. " Ummm, mom? How long have you been up?" Zilva asked as she stared at the mass of food before her eyes. " Well... to be honest... I never went to sleep..." Her mother said with a smile. " Ummm, well, I need to hurry up and go meet up with the Chuunin I've been paired up with so I don't have time to sit and eat. I'll just take some to go and then you should call everyone else to finish it up." Zilva said as she went to the table and wrapped up some food and put it in a basket. Zilva made sure to take enough for breakfast and lunch just in case the mission did last that long. Then, she got some non perishable foods and put them in her bag. " Well, I'm leaving now. Make sure you get some sleep mom!" Zilva said to her mother before walking out the front door and towards the gate of Kumo.

It didn't take her long to reach the gate and when she was nearing it she realized how chilly it was without the sun at it's highest. " I'd better get warmer..." She sighed as she used her scarf to cover her lower face as well as her neck. As she got close to the gate, Zilva saw the chuunin she was working with. According to the mission details his name was Aki and he was some clan known as Musami. 'Maybe I can ask about that later, I hate mysteries.' Zilva thought while waving to Aki. Zilva continued walking until she was in front of Aki and then introduced herself. " My name is Tarok, Zilva. Now lets go kill this guy and finish this mission up, I have other stuff to do ya' know." Zilva said bluntly.

It was as Zilva arrived, that Aki could tell she was a bit unhappy, seeing as her scarf covered most of her face, and by the way she spoke to him when introducing herself. "I see, I too, have important things to do. This mission is one of them. I'm also betting that the people in Otogakure have things to do, but live in fear of the bandits." he said with a sympathetic tone for the people of Otogakure, his eyes starring down Zilva's eyes. "Now, we'd best be on our way." said Aki as he turned his back to her and bolted out the gates.

Hoping she was following, he picked up his pace as he sped down the mountain towards the valley that would exit the rough mountain terrain. Though the weather was cold, the icy wind against his body felt refreshing as his nerves sent signals to his brain that it was cold outside, and that his body needed to increase his body temperature in order to maintain homeostasis. However, ignoring the fact that his body would be responding to the physical stress being inflicted on his body, he grinned as he jumped off the last few feet of steep hill left and onto the gassy flora below. Looking over his shoulder, he hoped to see Zilva and said, "You best keep up with me! Our goal is to make it there before sunset tomorrow!" With that, he turned his perseverance, motivation, and determination towards the road ahead, and bolted off towards the horizon in front of him.

It was as he made that dash for the border of Lightning Country that he thought about how difficult the mission would be, taking down a whole organization and their chief head. Then, trying to make sure that no repercussions would effect the people of Otogakure. Aki knew in his heart that there was more to this mission than what was written on the scroll in his belt pocket. This mission would also have to ensure the safety of the people that reside in Otogakure, and that if any harm come to them from the success or failure of this mission, Aki and his teammate would held responsible. However, he had faith in himself and the genin accompanying him on this mission, and he knew that without a doubt, it would be a job well done.

It hadn't even been 5 minutes since Zilva had met Aki and she already knew that she wouldn't enjoy his company. Although the first sentence Zilva said to him was somewhat cocky, she didn't like Aki's response. " You think I don't know that? The faster we get this done the faster everyone can get back to their lives!" Zilva replied to Aki, breaking the eye contact he tried to establish by flicking her head off to the side. ' Great, this guy is just going to pester me all day. Yet another reason to get this done quicker.' Zilva thought as she waited for Aki to turn around so she could move her head back. When Aki did turn around, Zilva looked back and began to follow him out of the gates.

Aki was running fast but Zilva was able to follow with little to no problems. In fact, the only real problem Zilva was having was the wind chill added to the already chilly temperature. Zilva's attire wasn't really one the protected her from the cold so she wrapped her entire scarf around her body as she ran. ' Come on sun! Rise faster!' Zilva thought as she continued running. To make sure that she would be as warm as possible, Zilva kept her body temperature up by taking very quick and rapid steps. This would make Zilva tire quicker in the long run, but she was more worried about warmth than fatigue. Still running, Zilva noticed that Aki was going to look back at her. Before he did, Zilva turned her head away and made it clear that she was still angry at him. " Yeah alright, lets hurry up then." Zilva said to Aki with her head still turned away.

After a while, the running started to bother Zilva and she decided that eating some food would help by giving her more energy. Still moving her legs, Zilva reached into her food basket which was now strapped on her back and pulled out a loaf a bread that had jam stuffed into it. With a smile, Zilva began to eat the jam bun as she continued to travel. "This is going to be a long day..." She sighed.
