Nemuru is a small boy with shoulder length, white, whispy hair. He’s 4’3” and he weighs 57 lbs. His skin is pale white and he doesn’t seem to tan at all. His main physical feature is his golden colored eyes, which have no pupils because of his blindness, these are usually kept closed. He has a fairly circular, childish face which comes to a slight point at his chin and his mouth is often kept in a slight smile. As well as being very small he has very minimal physical strength in his upper body making it very difficult to lift objects. Despite this he can run for a fairly long time.

Nemuru is usually seen wearing a dark grey cloak, the cloak covers most of his body except for most of his legs. Nemuru only ever takes off his cloak when he is being serious. Under his cloak he is wearing a white wrap around, long sleeved top which pass his hands and plain, loose, white trousers. A gold sash is tied around his waist which leaves the two ends trailing behind him just above the ground, at the end of the sash his clan symbol is embroidered in black thread. Nemuru’s most distinctive clothing is his golden shoulder pads made out of nickel for light weight. These shoulder pads curve to the fit of his shoulders then flick up and out at the ends, although the right shoulder pad is significantly bigger it doesn’t seem to make him lop sided. The shoulder pads seem to have a distinct ingravings in them that reflect the light to make beautiful patterns. Nemuru also wears plain black ninja sandals.

Nemuru is shy by nature and is often over looked. He is very untrusting and would rather take things into his own hands if he feels obliged to. The small boy is very exclusive and keeps to himself a lot, Never talking about himself, making it hard for his Sensei's and freinds to understand him, Because of this he is a very good listener and is surprisingly very understanding when it comes to emotions. Due to his size, Nemuru is often picked on by other Ninja, especially older Chunin and Genin. Despite not being trusting Nemuru is always willing to help someone, although he is usually very cautious. Since Nemuru is an Orphan he has become accustomed to loneliness and is usually seen by himself under his black cloak, often in high places like the the kage tower or the nearby mountains. Nemuru is very attached to the mountains and knows a lot of them well.

Nemuru is very frail due to his lack of nourishment as a baby with almost no upper body strength. despite this Nemuru is a surprisingly good runner. fast and able to run for long periods of time. Nemuru's favorite thing to do is to climb the mountains outside the village. His favorite food is dango and green tea with his least being anything overly sour or bitter. During battle Nemuru will stay calm and collected and will usually try to charge up enough power to take out the opponent in one hit.

The Hotarubi clan was originally from the grass country. While they were there they were known as one of the elite clans in their village. Although the clan was small they were highly respected due to their modest and humble nature. 10 years ago they were hunted for having ”gods” eyes, with so many people wanting their eyes the clan became scattered, although no one is known to have stolen it successfully, because each clan member is born with a seal that seals their eyes upon death. Currently 13/16 deaths have been reported of his clan (including Nemuru's Parents) the other Three are still missing but presumably dead. Nemuru is not included in these as he was to young to be officially put on the clan list, but was also protected due to his blindness.

Invisibility: Not literally, But Nemuru, when wearing his cloak, can blend into the shadows
Chakra Control: Nemuru has amazing chakra control and is able to continue using small amounts for long periods of time.

Endurance: Nemuru when focusing chakra to his legs can run for extended periods of time without rest.

Self calming: Nemuru can keep calm in almost any situation. This helps him stay on task and stops him from worrying about team mates and doubts he has. This also helps him think of strategies while in battle.

Sensor Genius: Nemuru was born blind but quickly developed sensor abilities. He is able to create an image in his mind of Physical object ie; Walls rooms and large obsticles. So he can see giving him almost sight. Despite this he cannot see color, texture, gradient or fine detail. Giving him a black and white world.

The transformation jutsu is considered to be among the more difficult E-ranked techniques, since it requires constant emission of chakra while mentally maintaining the form. On top of that, the user would be, most likely, interacting with the environment. This puts much mental strain on the inexperienced ninja.

It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed.

Description:The user makes the appropriate handseals, The user opens his eyes and Gold light radiates from them. By focusing their chakra the user may absorb sunlight. The amount of sunlight is equal to the users rank as a ninja. The sunlight is then used for jutsu like Golden light blast technique. The KKg is used/activated as so. Nemuru stood stock still with his eyes closed. A second later the boy had started performing handseals, then the boy opened his eyes. A bright flash of gold shone out of his right eye and then left. The light brightened then slowly reduced to a glow. suddenly the eyes started to glow brightly and the room started to slowly fade as he gathered the light through his eyes. When a child is born into the Hotarubi clan the first thing they see is burned into their memory and upon dying the memory will return to that person. The leader of the clan soon discovered this when one of his children died and so he created a seal and had it shown to any new born children so when they see it upon their death it is activated sealing their eye technique. This seal was also shown to Nemuru although it has no effect on him as he his blind and was unable to see it at the time. So upon Nemuru's death he will not see an image of what he first saw, for technically he hasn't seen anything.

Description:The user must have activated Yamayuri for this jutsu to work. The user then focuses the absorbed sunlight to the palms of his hands. He then Claps them together and pulls away to form an orb of light relevant to the amount of Sunlight absorbed. The hands are raised to chest height and by will the light out the user can fire a beam of light at the target. If the light hits the target the target will feel like they have been hit hard in the wounded region. The target will also be blinded and put off balance for a short amount of time. Jutsu charge time 1 post (start justu. can use next post.) The user can only fire up to two short blast per post. Five Charged shots per use of jutsu. Yamayuri must be sustained for the whole process of using this jutsu. If released the jutsu fails.

Description:Same as Ogoun hikari baasuto, except User must charge a lot more light using Yamayuri and then the jutsu is pushed into the ground light shotting out of the ground with phenomenal pressure destroying the ground in a Ten meter radius making anyone in the effected zone take severe damage and also being Blinded and paralyzed for a medium length of time. Cannot be dodge be jumping when user strikes ground as light still shoots out and you will still be stunned like in Golden light blast. Using this Justu will sometimes make the user faint. The Jutsu takes time to charge up leaving the User vulnerable.
Jutsu charge time is 2 post before using (start jutsu and another one.). Yamayuri must be sustained for the whole process of using this jutsu. If released the jutsu will fail.

Description:Using Yamayuri to gather light the user focuses the gained light into their hands. By touching someone in this state they can paralyze parts of their bodies while still causing damage. This skill is similar to the Hyuuga juuken style but not nearly as effective as it takes more concentration and ability to control and maintain the light in the users hand. The user can hold the jutsu for 5 posts before having to release the justu. The user when touching them will remove usage of the opponents part of the body for one post ( two for criticaly hit points.). Yamayuri must be sustained during the whole process of using this jutsu. If released the jutsu will fail.

Description:Nemuru creates the appropriate handseals and opens the jutsu. This Jutsu allow Nemuru see any thing that the eyes would normally see by having light particles send signals off, Giving him an image in his mind of what everything looks like and is doing. The User may only see blocks of each object and will not see gradients of textures. The User will White shapes outlined with black lines. Using this the user can also detect peoples chakra giving him an idea about them, But this requires the user to focus more chakra and will result in the user seeing nothing but the person he is focused on resulting in him being vulnerable. If the focused target moves out of sight then the jutsu will automatically be released. Having used this all of his life, Nemuru has refined this down to a skill that he uses unconsciously using up minimal amounts of his chakra supply, although if his chakra were to be cut off he would lose the use of this jutsu until his chakra is useable again. This jutsu is good for blind people. This jutsu doesn't require the use of Yamayuri as it is not clan jutsu.

Nemuru was born in the Hidden Grass village. Born into a respected clan he was foreseen to be a great ninja. His Parents realized quickly after his birth that he was blind. They had him protected. by keeping him a secret from the outside world. His brain so activated itself to subconsciously create a solution to his blindness. The brain quickly realized that his body had skill as a sensor nin and developed neural pathways to help him. It took a year for the brain to come up with the solution, he developed a ninjutsu called Hikari Shingan which uses minimal chakra to get light particles to react in his presence using a mixture of chakra, Aura and ultrasonic waves. By the end of the year Nemuru was a sick and frail child after having used so much energy creating the sensor jutsu. Nemuru never seemed to open his eyes again.

When Nemuru was 3 years old his clan started to be hunted for their eyes. The clan was scattered. Forced to flee from the Grass Country his parents took him East towards the Water Country. They quickly found a cottage owned by an old lady and they reluctantly left him their to keep him safe. Nemuru was left with a secret scroll containing Jutsu of his Clan, a pair of exquisite nickel shoulder pads and savings for him to go to a ninja village if ever wanted to. When Nemuru turned nine he decided to become a ninja he gathered up his savings and headed towards the ninja village. He had been using his sensor technique for almost six years now and was When he got there he registered himself immediately at the ninja academy. he asked one of the teachers where he could find a place where he could buy an apartment. The teacher was quite old and looked at the boy. Then he said frowning "Your Hotarubi aren't you." The boy nodded. "I was told six years ago by a young lady that if you were ever to come by to give him this." He handed an envelope to the small boy. The boy reluctantly took it. On the envelope it had his name, Hotarubi Nemuru. He thanked the man and quickly left the building. Once out side he Opened the envelope. Out fell a small card with writing on it and a key. On the card an address was written. 'Well, better go check it out' Nemuru said to himself.

Nemuru reached the door to the apartment. Uneasily he pushed the key into the key hole, with a click the lock opened and with a turn the door did as well. In front of Nemuru was a fully furnished apartment it had all the necessary items he needed. It even had supplies for school. There was spare clothes that fit him surprisingly and a bunch of non perishable foods.

Nemuru did very well in school. He was at the top of most of his classes and was even doing better than some of the older children. The only thing that Nemuru was struggling in was shuriken practice. He had great accuracy in each of his throws but no enough power to get them to stick in properly. Nemuru was determined to do well in school so he practiced all his jutsu's every day as well as his shuriken throwing. In the final exam he did the best in his class. The teachers congratulated him and even asked if he wanted to skip the next grade because he would be more than ready to do the one after.

Nemuru survived well on his own using money from a safe that was inside his apartment. He graduated from the academy after his second year at the age of 11. Nemuru politely took his new ninja headband from the instructor, saying a polite thank you and going outside to celebrate with his friends. The next day would be his first day as a Genin.
