It was outstanding to have such glorious weather on the opening day of the third examinations. Swarms of people rushed through the entrances of the Chaos Arena of Kirigakure no Sato. Today was the beginning of what everybody was waiting for. The anticipation of this round of the examinations was the largest of all the trials the Genin were undergoing. Mainly because they would be watched under a fine microscope from more than just a proctor, an arena full of people were all here to see the final eight young shinobi battle it out to prove to the three Kages of importance; The Mizukage, The Raikage and The Kazekage. All who were here in Kirigakure to oversee this stage of the exams that would be done in a period of three days, the final eight would fight one against the other for a spot in the Semi Finals, which would consist of four shinobi on the second day, who would repeat this process to have two left for the Grand Finale on the third day. The day was perfect, the sun was not too bright, but provided plenty of shine and plenty of warmth for the prestigious and traditional event. Arashii dressed in his traditional Mizukage outfit as he approached the arena with Ahora, as well as two Jounin escorts. He approached his private booth which was located high up the Arena’s levels but close enough to get a perfect view of the battleground below. There were two matching boxes for both the Raikage and Kazekage and two other boxes that were larger yet slightly less luxurious for other important VIP’s such as the Daimyo’s and Lords of lesser nations as well as famous shinobi and noblemen of other lands. There were stands surrounding the entire Arena, mostly filled with residents of Kirigakure due to it being their home turf, but there was a large array of guests from various nations, including large portions of Sunagakure and Kumogakure residents. Arashii sat in his seat as he began looking over the schedule, only one more shinobi from Kirigakure, surely the boost the home crowd would give him would help him out, but it wasn’t looking good for the hosting village this year with only one competitor left.

The Mizukage looked down to the arena’s surface, happy with its end result in the very centre of the field, which was a twenty-five metre radius with ten metre high stone smooth stone walls surrounding the entire ground area. The terrain was mostly grass but there was a dirty patch right in the centre of the arena that was left there to see give the competitors a different terrain. They had really gone all out with this arena. On the eastern section of the arena sat a small yet deep pool of cleansed water that would be refilled in between each exam if it was used. The water source was approximately five metres wide and was right up against the wall, and was believed to be about ten metres deep. Limited trees were spread out around the arena, only a dozen in total all near arena’s walls, with one or two bushes next to them. The terrain was mostly flat and open but on the north-west section of the arena was a slight sloped area that was half a metre above the rest of the flooring and was about five metres wide, starting right from the wall.

All these different features gave opportunities for all types of shinobi the arena was set, it was time for Arashii to begin this exciting event. Arashii stood from his chair, Ahora remained sitting in the chair next to his as his two escorts stood at the entrance of his private box. Arashii channelled chakra into his voice allowing him to project it all the way through the arena. “The first round of the Third Examination begins now!” The audience began to cheer stridently as Arashii waiting for them to calm down before continuing. “The second match will begin now, the competitors will be Asakura, Isama of Sunagakure-” The Sunagakure shinobi in the crowd clapped and cheered for the Genin of their hometown as Arashii announced the second competitor. And his opponent, from Kumogakure; Tomasu, Karamu” The Kumogakure shinobi mimicked the actions of the Sunagakure shinobi cheering for the Genin that represented their village. Arashii sat back down in his seat excited for the match to begin, as the two competitors entered the field. Isama from the north and Karamu from the south, approaching the middle until they were ten metres apart. The bell was rung as the vibrations of the sound hollowed throughout the entire area, the match had begun.

Rules and Notes

-This exam is on a STRICT 48 hour post requirement, if you fail to post in 48 hours after your opponent you are automatically disqualified.
-You are the only two who are permitted to post here, although people were mentioned that was only for plot and scenario purposes.
-This exam does not have a completition date, as I said, it's a 48 hour post requirement so we expect it done quickly, if it continues due to continuous dodging, I'll proctor it like I'm supposed to and come to a conclusion.
-If you exit the ground floor you will be disqualified, by no means should you harm the audience, you can however use the wall as a weapon or a surface to run on.
-Be elaborate with your jutsu, explain it. Don't confuse your opponent, all jutsu are required to be attached at the bottom of a thread via a quote or a spoiler, it is not to be messy.
-All standard roleplaying rules apply.
-This is the first time you have heard of your opponent, unless you have met them in character before which you shouldn't have you do not know their abilities, so far you will only know they village and their name from my announcement.

It was finally the day of the final exam. Isama was full of excitement. He had woken up early to begin preparation and training. He was Kunai training and practicing techniques with his bow. When he was called he started to head to the stadium. Isama was shocked to see how many people heading towards the stadium. People from all over the place had arrived. Most of them where making bets among themselves on who would win each match. Isama saw his Aunt and she started to talk to Isama. ”Good Luck with the exam” She said.
“Thanks” He replied. Isama had noticed that his Aunt looked worried.”What’s wrong?” Isama asked her.
”Im just worried for your sake, anyway here. I want you to have this” Isama Aunt started rustling around in her bag and brought out a picture of Isama’s mom. ”She will always be watching over you”She said whilst handing it to Isama. He had a tear in his eye but he did not let his aunt see.”Thank you, I best be off now” Isama had said and he soon after started walking towards a big entrance. As he walked in all of the Suna people cheered. He took his place next to the rest of the Genin.

After a long explanation from the proctor, we where assigned our opponents. Isama would be fighting in the second match. The first match it was an interesting battle. Isama watched in amazement. Then the time came for Isama’s match. He and his opponent where stood far apart.’Lets test him out’ Isama thought whilst pulling out 2 bows with paper bombs attached. He knocked both of them and fired them in his opponent’s direction. Then Isama stood ready to activate the bombs. He activated the bombs and then he quickly knocked 2 more bows without bombs and fired them through the dust just in case the bomb failed. Isama had to be careful with his bows, he only had 11 left. He looked towards the dust to see whether it was successful.

Karamu had been resting a lot since the second exam as it had taken a toll on him, part of it had been genjutsu which he was thankful for as he still had both arms but he was still tired and had a few scabs left from the wounds he had suffered. He got in excercise as well as he knew the last test would be the most dangerous yet, combat with other genin. Karamu got dressed early, he wanted to limber up before the big test, he went for a run near the arena he would be fighting in, he did not run far as he did not know much of Kirigakure and knew he would get lost. After half an hour of warming up he headed to the arena. He arrived on time and got the basic details on what was happening, a tournament, he liked the sound of that. He waited patiently for his round to begin and when it was his turn, he got up and wandered out into the fighting area.

He walked out to a stadium, a nice one, much better than the one he spent his childhood fighting in and he felt more confident that the fighting would be better here as they were fighting for honour instead of survival and that would allow the ninja to show skill, not savagely beating each other to death. Karamu was surprised at the amount of people watching the fight, he had never seen so many people in one place. He noticed the Raikage sitting in a private box and it made him feel better, his kage was there and he was going to fight hard to keep up the honour of Kumogakure. Of course the same applied to his opponent, a sand ninja would be fighting for his kage as well. It was the only link the ninjas of seperate villages had, a will to protect their villages people and honour.

When the fight was started, his opponent wasted no time, firing two arrows at him. Karamu smiled a little 'Of course, a long range fighter, just my luck.' he thought to himself as he swiftly drew a kunai into each hand and threw them at the arrows, he knocked them a little and they went of course and landed near both his sides. He was about to make his move when the arrows exploded, he jumped back and narrowly avoided the blasts but then two arrows came flying out of the dust cloud towards him, this kid was cautious. Karamu ducked and they flew over his head but one scratched the back of his head and he felt a slight trickle of blood running down his back. He looked into the cloud, it was fading so he moved fast. He drew a kunai and threw it at his opponents general location. He was not a long range expert so he needed to figure out how to get close to his opponent, before things got bad. He then dashed back and hid behind the nearest tree, he was hoping his opponent had not seen him and he was hoping to think of something fast but he needed to hide first, this would have an advantage of his opponent showing more techniques and perhaps a weakness. He climbed the tree and hid amongst the leaves and branches, awaiting his opponents next move.

Isama stood and watched as the Dust enveloped the grounds of the stadium, it was almost impossible to see. Hopefully he had hit his target. The dust slowly started to clear, and it was just in time too as Isama saw a Kunai flying towards him. He quickly jumped to dodge the Kunai. Isama had noticed his opponent had disappeared. ’Some sort of Camouflage Jutsu? Or is he hiding’ Isama was thinking of the possible places he could be until he thought of an idea. ’He may be planning to have a sneak attack on me. So lets confuse him’ . Before Isama could hit the floor he got out a paper bomb. He placed it onto the floor close to some rocks and he stood back as he activated the bomb. Once done he quickly moved into the dust and made a clone. Whilst the dust was still hanging he quickly got out some Ninja wire and started jumping around the stadium and placing the ninja wire onto the floor. He made it seem like he was looking for his opponent. Before the dust disappeared he quickly jumped back into the dust and sat on the rocks. He hid the finger which had the ninja wire on, and looked around as the dust disappeared. ’Now If he steps out I will know what section he is in, Making it easy to fire at him. Also with a clone it will confuse him as to which one is real’ Isama let out a laugh. He and his clone stood ready for any oncoming attacks.

Due to Tailbones surprising away post he will no longer be able to compete in this examination meaning Dholmes wins be default. For storyline purposes when you continue to the second examination, this is how the battle panned out.

Quote :: Karamu managed to use his advantage with Taijutsu to dodge an onslaught by Isama which lead to Karamu getting in close enough range to engage a hand to hand combat fight, Isamu using his bow as a melee weapon before being disarmed by Karamu and receiving a hasty blow to the face with his own bow, knocking him back. Karamu threw the bow to the side launching a secondary strike, a jumping kick, connecting to Isamu's chest, however the Sungakure Genin managed to roll back and stand back up before Karamu's onslaught continued. Isamu was forced to play the defensive role and Karamu relentlessly attacked with Taijutsu, each Genin landing physical blows to one another as a hand-to-hand combat battle progressed for almost ten minutes with barely any breaking between moves. Karamu eventually got Isamu close enough to the wall and managed to land a thunderous uppercut to the chin sending Isamu hurdling into the tree and landing in the bush below. Karamu stood back as three Isamu's emerged swiftly, two obviously being clones. Karamu would grab the first one by the arm whilst it was in mid-air and flip it over his shoulder, then would proceed to elbow the next one in mid-air, puffing it into smoke and roundhouse kicking the second one which would cause it to puff into smoke, realizing the first one was Isamu, he turned to realize Isamu had recovered his bow, the Sunagakure Genin shot two arrows at the Kumogakure Genin as the Genin would dodge however but lead the arrows to be implanting into the tree, where the attached explosive notes would activate and have enough blast power to knock Karamu to the ground. Isamu would repeat this process with explosive notes eventually forcing Karamu be pulled from battle as he could no longer compete. The crowd was utterly surprised at how quickly the battle shifted to Isamu's advantage. Both competitors were to go visit the medical ninja in the rooms to be treated.
