It was outstanding to have such glorious weather on the opening day of the third examinations. Swarms of people rushed through the entrances of the Chaos Arena of Kirigakure no Sato. Today was the beginning of what everybody was waiting for. The anticipation of this round of the examinations was the largest of all the trials the Genin were undergoing. Mainly because they would be watched under a fine microscope from more than just a proctor, an arena full of people were all here to see the final eight young shinobi battle it out to prove to the three Kages of importance; The Mizukage, The Raikage and The Kazekage. All who were here in Kirigakure to oversee this stage of the exams that would be done in a period of three days, the final eight would fight one against the other for a spot in the Semi Finals, which would consist of four shinobi on the second day, who would repeat this process to have two left for the Grand Finale on the third day. The day was perfect, the sun was not too bright, but provided plenty of shine and plenty of warmth for the prestigious and traditional event. Arashii dressed in his traditional Mizukage outfit as he approached the arena with Ahora, as well as two Jounin escorts. He approached his private booth which was located high up the Arena’s levels but close enough to get a perfect view of the battleground below. There were two matching boxes for both the Raikage and Kazekage and two other boxes that were larger yet slightly less luxurious for other important VIP’s such as the Daimyo’s and Lords of lesser nations as well as famous shinobi and noblemen of other lands. There were stands surrounding the entire Arena, mostly filled with residents of Kirigakure due to it being their home turf, but there was a large array of guests from various nations, including large portions of Sunagakure and Kumogakure residents. Arashii sat in his seat as he began looking over the schedule, only one more shinobi from Kirigakure, surely the boost the home crowd would give him would help him out, but it wasn’t looking good for the hosting village this year with only one competitor left.

The Mizukage looked down to the arena’s surface, happy with its end result in the very centre of the field, which was a twenty-five metre radius with ten metre high stone smooth stone walls surrounding the entire ground area. The terrain was mostly grass but there was a dirty patch right in the centre of the arena that was left there to see give the competitors a different terrain. They had really gone all out with this arena. On the eastern section of the arena sat a small yet deep pool of cleansed water that would be refilled in between each exam if it was used. The water source was approximately five metres wide and was right up against the wall, and was believed to be about ten metres deep. Limited trees were spread out around the arena, only a dozen in total all near arena’s walls, with one or two bushes next to them. The terrain was mostly flat and open but on the north-west section of the arena was a slight sloped area that was half a metre above the rest of the flooring and was about five metres wide, starting right from the wall.

All these different features gave opportunities for all types of shinobi the arena was set, it was time for Arashii to begin this exciting event. Arashii stood from his chair, Ahora remained sitting in the chair next to his as his two escorts stood at the entrance of his private box. Arashii channelled chakra into his voice allowing him to project it all the way through the arena. “The first round of the Third Examination begins now!” The audience began to cheer stridently as Arashii waiting for them to calm down before continuing. “The third match will begin now, the competitors will be Asakura, Temi of Sunagakure-” The Sunagakure shinobi in the crowd clapped and cheered for the Genin of their hometown as Arashii announced the second competitor. And his opponent, Kuma, Jinno of Kirigakure.” The audience suddenly exploded, being that the majority of then resided in Kirigakure, all ecstatic for their sole surviving Kirigakure Genin, Jinno had definitely received the best audience reaction. Arashii sat back down in his seat excited for the match to begin, as the two competitors entered the field. Temi from the north and Jinno from the south, approaching the middle until they were ten metres apart. The bell was rung as the vibrations of the sound hollowed throughout the entire area, the match had begun.

Rules and Notes

-This exam is on a STRICT 48 hour post requirement, if you fail to post in 48 hours after your opponent you are automatically disqualified.
-You are the only two who are permitted to post here, although people were mentioned that was only for plot and scenario purposes.
-This exam does not have a completition date, as I said, it's a 48 hour post requirement so we expect it done quickly, if it continues due to continuous dodging, I'll proctor it like I'm supposed to and come to a conclusion.
-If you exit the ground floor you will be disqualified, by no means should you harm the audience, you can however use the wall as a weapon or a surface to run on.
-Be elaborate with your jutsu, explain it. Don't confuse your opponent, all jutsu are required to be attached at the bottom of a thread via a quote or a spoiler, it is not to be messy.
-All standard roleplaying rules apply.
-This is the first time you have heard of your opponent, unless you have met them in character before which you shouldn't have you do not know their abilities, so far you will only know they village and their name from my announcement.

OK, it was official now ... he was nervous as hell. Jinno sighed as he was waiting for his match to begin and tried to calm down. The young genin sat down on the cold floor of the hall that lead directly into the arena where he would have his match in a bit. The fact that he heard that he was actually the only kirigakure genin left didn't made it easier for him. It actually surprised him greatly. When he started the exams he was sure that his determination would get him far but for him to get this far alone ... It was both a small shock as well as a boost into his ability's. He took a deep breath as he rested his head against the cool stones of the wall. "I can do this ... I just have to calm down and stay focused , i can do this." He opened his eyes and looked at the ceiling above him. He heard the people chatting excited as they went inside the arena. Amongst them would be his grandparents he knew. They closed their inn just so they could come watch their grandson. Still he felt sad his father and mother couldn’t get here in time but still they promised they would come and visit him after the tournament. So he better make sure that when he they came for him he would be able to make them proud.

Then he could hear it , the mizukage’s voice echoed trough the place as he announced the start of the exam. Quietly the genin stood up and took a last deep breath while checking if the water bags he carried around where still in their place. He already knew how the arena would look like from where he was waiting and knew there was water but he always rather made sure that he always had access to enough of it. He heard the mizukage announce the other participant. Someone from the hidden sand. He wondered what he will have to deal whit when the mizukage announced his name. He was for a moment surprised at the sudden support from the crown he got. Only logical as he taught about it. Most people here where from our village. Whit a wide small he walked over into the arena.

He looked up and took notice of his surroundings as he walked further , from the other side of the arena he noticed his opponent approaching. He curiously observed his opponent but so far it didn’t gave him any clue about what he was up against. As they reached the designated mark he silently bowed in his direction. A quite sign of respect towards somebody he considered a equal. Another person who is giving his all to serve his village. Soon they would see which persons determination was the strongest. He slowly changed his stance and raising his hands. His feet firmly spread to get a good grip on the ground as he stared at his opponent ready to wait for the signal. And there it was the bell echoed trough the arena and Jinno was determined to make the first move. His hands quickly formed the hand seals for a jutsu and he seemed to inhale before firing of a jet of water from his mouth to his opponent. Lets see what he got.

Temi has been disqualified as a result of a lack of posting, I'll write up an official highlight roleplay of the match tomorrow.

Due to Temi's lack of ability to submit a post, he has been automatically disqualified from the Chuunin Exams and will not receive any bonus such as Konin. Mokujin's character Jinno advances, for the sake of roleplaying though; This is how the match panned out.

Quote :: The match between Temi and Jinno was the quickest of this round of examinations. As soon as the bell rung Jinno pulled an immediate string of hand signs and expelled a strong jet of water at Temi. The Sungakure Genin quickly taking an evasive action quickly performing the needed hand signs to utilize the Underground Submarine Voyage technique sinking into the ground and disappearing from Jinno's sight. Jinno would move toward the place where Temi had disappeared into the ground which was a rookies mistake allowing Temi to take the offensive leaping from his whole with a jumping uppercut, attempting to engage Jinno in Taijutsu which was a massive mistake, Jinno instantly retaliating with a counter grabbing the boys arm and using his momentum against him until Temi was high enough in the air for Jinno to deliver an Impact Kick counter to Temi's chest and releasing his hand sending him crashing to the hard surface. As Temi would begin to struggle to his knees as Jinno would pull out two kunai, launching one at Temi and running after it toward his opponent; Temi would jump over the kunai but fall victim to Jinno's almost precise timing who would perform a sliding sweep which would connect just as Temi would land, sensing that he was in trouble. Temi would remarkably shift directions in mid-air managing to almost land in a cartwheel/handstand position, at the same time however Jinno would use the secondary attempt of his leg sweep thrusting his second kunai into the ground and using it to spin himself around connecting with Temi's leg causing the Sunagakure Genin to crash heavily onto his face. As Temi would struggle a last time to his feet, holding his face; Jinno would relentlessly prepare his next move, using the Hidden Mist Technique to a small degree gathering water to his fist, as Temi would regain his vertical position Jinno would hit him instantly in the chest with a Taijutsu/Ninjutsu combinational Jinno calls the Waving Palm Crash, hitting Temi with great power and then having the water blast forward and cause Temi to be crushed in between the wall and the water jet, hitting the ground with a thud. Jinno was quickly declared the winner as the crowd cheered frantically for the last Kirigakure competitor. Temi would be rushed to Kirigakure's hospital in a stable condition, but would be assumed to be out of action for three to four weeks.
