I was browsing FM's help boards and came across an U.S. 2.0 forum review requested by Adam and decided to post it here because I don't think he did. lol.

First Impressions - Rating: Excellent

I absolutely loved my first impression. The forum is actually a bright Naruto forum, which I love and I can actually see, which IS why I joined. It has very neat widgets, a nice navigation bar and a great header. There are multiple categories to discuss Naruto Anime, Manga and Roleplaying. A lot of time is put into the moderation of the forum.

Graphics & Layout - Rating: Excellent

Like I said, very neat widgets and a clean and sleek design. The layout provides simple navigation throughout the forum which provides the forum with a huge up in registration. The header is simple and nice.

Forum Activity - Rating: Excellent

I would be lying if I said there was not enough activity on this board. I've been viewing the board for ages and there is always more than 3 users online. A lot of people are active in the last 48 hours.

Staff & Usergroups - Rating: Excellent

There are heaps of Administrators and Moderators! I was surprised to see how many there were! But I guess the more the better. There are a lot of Kiri - Kumo - and Suma but a lot of Unnaproved which may be bad.

Originality & Unique Quality - Rating: Good

I gave you a good because there a lot of forums. I did give you a good for being the first light Naruto forum that I have ever visited and could actually read. The widget graphics sure are unique, I'd sure like to know how they were done. The unique thing about the forum is it's light, I would NEVER recommend you to make a dark theme.

I don't see how unbiased thoughts of an outsider should be a secret to our community. There is nothing bad in the review and it is completely true, I believe.

I Think that this was posted in the staff session to be discusses on the people who control the forum. I don't think this was to be hidden from your eyes at all. You are welcome to discuss on the review freely but i think the person who originally put this one up in the staff section only wanted the feedback from the staff. I could be wrong of course this is just an opinion.

First Impressions - ( 17 / 20 )

Ok, I'll start the review on the portal, what I first noticed there is that the width of the portal is overwhelming, I mean, I would have to scroll to the right to see the remaining contents there which is definitely a bad impression, try reducing the width, other than that, I guess you have a nice set of widgets on the portal, the widgets also look organized because you don't have such widgets that doesn't relate to the forum or that's not important, nice work there, ok, when I got to the index, I noticed that you have this 'Ninjauish' atmosphere which is nice, everything around you is about the forum, so I liked that impression, I also liked the organization of the index, however, I just noticed that the index is too long, I noticed that there's a huge space at the bottom of the forum, try reducing widgets to resolve this, otherwise it doesn't look good and professional, get that sorted.

Starting with the graphics, to the(major graphics) banner, I'd say that the banner is brilliant and looks a bit unique too, I saw most of the forums about 'Ninja/Naruto' place character on their banner but I found the forum's banner with shadows of the characters only which is definitely look nice, the fonts are nice too, I say overall that the banner is brilliant, ok, the navigation bars are nice, they fit to the color scheme and partners with the banner greatly, but at first, it'll be hard to search for them because they look small, I just think making it a little bigger will look better, the forum icons(new post, no new post & forum is locked) are brilliant too! I love the sharingan thingy, it makes the index look cool for me, well done, and also with you 'Who is online?' icon, Sharingan is also a good place here, overall, Nice work with the graphics.
Ok, time to review the content/organization of the forums, I noticed that you had lots of forums & categories on the index but I guess it's just fine, although some forums needs to merge out/remove/change, the organization of the categories & forums needs to be fixed too, First of all, I'll start with the category 'Coming and going' the forums on that category can be combined, with Introductions as the main forum and 'away' as the sub forum, I don't see the point of creating a category for both forums too, why not just connect those forums to the first category, it'll look better & professional and can make the index shorter too, now, I noticed that you have this spam section, well, that really looks unprofessional, why bot rename it to 'Forum Games', but not spam, spam means like porn, mature related topics which is against our TOS, and lastly, the 'Social Areas' & 'Roleplaying Areas' category should be exchanged, they should switch positions, the 'social areas' should be the last category as it's only the off-topic forums/not related to the forum, sort that out.
The forum's color scheme/lay out is fine, I don't see anything wrong about it.

I really loved the activity the forum has, from the index view, you can really see there are new posts made on most of the forums, but half doesn't have new posts, but it's fine, try to post more on sections that needs posting,and the total messages posted on the forum is great! I say keep it up! Now, the users activity is fine, and I cane even see members logged while I'm reviewing the forum which is great, there are also lots of members connected in the last 48 hours, keep that up, send out news letters to get the inactive members back.

First of all, I don't know what are the other groups which I don't such as the 'Kiri' groups etc. Ok, I guess you have this 2 staff groups namely the 'Administrators' & 'Moderators' although i would try to place them at the first portion, I mean, your group should be organized in these order: (Administrators, Moderators, Kiri, Kumo, Suna, Unapporved) I guess that'll look better and more professional, high groups should be the first on the list, other than that, the groups are fine, ok, for the staff ratio, I saw 6 administrators, I say that's too much but I suggest you don't add more, it won't look good having 7 administrators, I also noticed you have lots of moderators which you need to reduce a bit since half of the forums is considered inactive, although I suggest you not to add more.

@Adam, I knew you would say that and I still admit that this is the best Naruto RPG out there.

Then you should be roleplaying here, and John is completely correct by the way. The one you posted, although it was recent was reviewed by an everyday Forum Motion member, the first one; the one John showed revealed, was the review of an actual Forum Critic.

I don't exactly role-play on Naruto RPGs anymore. That is, assuming I role-play at all. I'm too lazy to even try to role-play here. Razz
