The running had begun to distract Iori, who's thoughts had begun to gravitate towards his team leader's potential opinions of the young man. As worrisome as usual, Iori expected the older male to think him troublesome or annoying or some other hurtful term that Iori always seemed to foresee the worst whenever he tried to imagine others opinions of him. As he moved across the dessert, Iori made sure to kick off the sand utilizing only the furthest backs of his and the very tips of his footwear, thus pressing downwards into the earth and lifting and embedding sand into his sandals. It was never a good thing to carry foreign substances, whether minuscule or otherwise, into a different location, it could alert those who are better left unaware. It was as they made their way out of the dessert region of the Wind Country that the leader of the team, Ryuzaki Blaize seemed to decide to fill in the silence that had existed between the two members. Following in his fashion of being overwhelmed by the copious amounts of conversation that Ryuzaki seemed intent on continuing to bombard him with, Iori stayed silent for a few minutes to gather his bearings before he began to speak.

Just as Iori opened his mouth to speak, however, Ryuzaki leaped onto a tree branch, his speed suddenly picking up. Reacting swiftly, Iori made sure to follow suit, pulling off an acrobatic maneuver as he leaped, spinning before he kicked off the trunk of a tree. "Senpai, I suppose, if worst comes to worst, fighting numerous opponents may be a possibility. However, I thought our purpose was to make this an assassination with the appearance of an accident." Iori pointed out as he kicked off a particularly thick branch, tucking his knees in close to his chest to avoid clipping his ankles on a jutting branch. Landing on the next branch ahead Iori continued, "But, to answer your inquiries, I prefer to fight hand to hand. I am proficient in the usage of a variety of Taijutsu, most notably kicking techniques. In fact, though I hate to brag, I believe I am, in a way one of the best Genin in the Sunagakure when it comes to the usage of taijutsu. But to continue with your questions, I am also quite skilled in Doton Ninjutsu and Espionage Jutsu, though, as I have previously stated, Taijutsu is my preferred fighting style". Having just given the man all of his most impressive aspects as a Shinobi, Iori decided to move onto his shortcomings, though he was sure of only one.

"Now, when it comes to weaknesses, I am afraid to say that I have an major lack of ability when it comes to the discipline of genjutsu. In fact, I doubt I'd be able to save myself if I found myself trapped in even the most basic of genjutsu techniques, senpai."
Iori continued, his voice adopted a contemptuous tone as he spoke of the three Shinobi arts he hated the most, both for usage and confronting. "I also don't have much confidence in myself when it comes to doing battle against numerous opponents, whether they be weaker than me or otherwise. I prefer to do battle one on one, since I tend to focus on my target rather intently before I strike against them." Iori concluded making sure to make his tone seem finite. Reaching out to grab hold of a branch over his head as he leaped, Iori swung himself onto the trunk of a tree before kicking off and leaping to his next objective. "Now then senpai, let's see you reciprocate. Though, I would prefer if we saved some information, since it is sure to be a long trip, at least 36 hours, if we keep this pace".

PostSubject: Re: Out To Work (Blaize, Private, Mission)(Part 2 of 3) Out To Work (Blaize, Private, Mission)(Part 2 of 3) EmptySat 01 Jan 2011, 6:50 am

Blaize started to kick off several branches as he took the most air that he could before landing on another one before taking another step to jump off to the distance. As such he did hear his partner speak. The way that he was speaking was straight forward in his answer. He liked the fact that he has done that and also he did let his personal facts to him. As he listens he noticed that he preferred hand to hand combat when it comes to his opponents. He clinged to a tree branch and used its momentum to fling himself forward to another tree. As his partner was finishing his speech he began to review the contents in his head.

“Well then It seems that he likes one on one combat. For that reason he should be a great asset to the team but I cannot leave him alone with many opponents if this happened. I would have to give him a great responsibility to take out the higher ups in the bandit chains. Knowing the bandits they would have body guards and then go on one on one combat. If I was to take the time to get the weaker bandits I could let him go after the bandits higher in command. The only thing though is I would have to let out swift attacks and be quick I won’t be able to waist time so I could back him up if things get ugly. Then there was his weakness, genjutsu. Although I am not so good in genjutsu I had to be forced to learn how to dispel genjutsu before I obtained the rank of Chuunin. Although anything of my rank or higher I would not be able to help him out with sometime of getting out of it. Because of my sharp mind and intellect they helped me detect genjutsu but only to a certain level. Anything of high skill would take me a while to dispel. I do not want to let him know that much but I must tell him the truth he was being true to me. Another thing, he said we had to make it look like an accident but for now I am thinking worst case scenario”

As his partner was asking him about his shinobi lifestyle and reversing the question he had asked him it was only fair to be truthful to him. He would have to keep it short since they still had to keep the focus on traveling. He started to take a breath as he made another jump on a tree branch before telling him. As soon as he was done he spoken. Lets see here I am what you call a mid range fighter. I prefer to battle in a distance so I could gain knowledge about my opponent and then go on and attack from there. My choice of battle is Ninjutsu with a fire style favoritism. Although I do attack from a distance I am a midrange fighter because I sometimes do attack in close range. With that I use some weaponry with my base of it being Kenjutsu. I knew I couldn’t rely solely on chakra so I studied a Kenjutsu style of combat just in case ninjutsu won’t work on enemies. My weakness is genjutsu as well, I was not brought up to genjutsu but I had to be forced to learn to dispel genjutsu when I became a Chuunin not to long ago. In order to protect my team I had to make sure I knew all I could, and when it came to genjutsu I had to learn how to dispel them. In case of battle I do not mind fighting multiple enemies at once or one on one either is fine by me. Ohh and you were saying something about the mission let’s see now.

There was an ending to the patch of grassland that they had come across and would not just changed to an open land. These open lands were trade routes were several roads came across. This patch of land was to be preserved in all counts to be open grasslands after the murderous sabatoge that happened some time ago. These lands use to be filled with trees as well but many enemies started to kill off travelers and merchants caring various important items. Now the neighboring countries resolved the issue and one of the agreements was to stripe the land bear to be an open grassland so any sabotage from trees could be avoided since so many travels along its path it is hard to do something without a witness being there. Although this was different the weather still had some rain left to spill and the merchants and travelers stayed off this road so the open area was just open for these two shinobi. Blaize landed on the ground and after the land he started to dash forward in the direction of the river country. Hoping his teammate would follow he started to lead the team for hours. He did not answer his previous question because he was thinking of an answer but now after the travel he started to speak.

“We are almost close to our check point I will answer your question about the mission there. Sorry If I have been talking too much but Like I said before I wanted Intel before we made it to the mission spot. For now we are an hour away from the river country. I know a place where we can stay for the night. Then when we go to our place of slumber I will tell you the next part of the plan. Understood?”

Iori didn't have to wait long for the hooded Ryuzaki to answer his question, the man allowing not even a second to pass before he spoke. "Senpai seems to be determined to be more than just random teammates to me." Iori thought to himself, the idea proving to be the only one that could explain as to why the older man seemed to be asking so many questions with such reasonable terms. After all, it was not as if Ryuzaki Blaize, who was a Chunin, was actually obligated to be kind or even polite to the much younger and inexperienced shinobi. "Well, can't say it's not encouraging." Iori reasoned as Ryuzaki finally finished his explanation of his abilities. Iori couldn't help but smile rather crookedly at him, due to an absorption within his own thoughts, Iori had missed a majority of what he had said and was only able to recall certain words, many of them disconnected to the rest of the message. “Really should have paid attention to what he said just now” Iori chided himself, feeling like an idiot for having ignored such important information. It was the kind of mistake that got a Shinobi killed, a shinobi like Mikoto Iori.

Hours passed by at an alarmingly quick pace in Iori’s mind, his thoughts taken up by images of him causing the failure of the mission or attempting to piece together whatever information he had collected from Ryuzaki Blaize, pertaining to his abilities, into a logical explanation. Iori knew Suddenly, the forest began to recede and grass and open area took it’s place, Iori kicked off the trunk of one of the last trees in the forest, made sure to pull his knees up to his pectorals as he spun head over heels in an impressive display of acrobatic prowess. Landing with the soft noise of someone who was practiced in cushioning harsh falls, Iori picked up his pace to keep up with the surprisingly nimble Ryuzaki Blaize. Having gotten used to the relatively similar leaping distance that they had set for each other, Iori had not been expecting to have to actually run to the point where he was nearly sprinting to keep up with the more fleet-footed Sunagakure Shinobi. When Ryuzaki pointed out their close proximity to a predetermined checkpoint, Iori only nodded, his thoughts having returned to the subject of the Chunin’s capabilities.

“Okay, just think about it logically!” Iori told himself yet again “I heard, Genjutsu, something about practice with others, mid-range and a whole lot of other junk I didn't bother to actually really hear" Iori explained to himself. "So, with those clues, one could establish that he is a Genjutsu specialist who prefers to fight in the mid-range" Iori concluded, though he had no idea just how wrong he was, and he didn't intend to offer any sort of hints to his traveling partner that that was the case. With the mystery, in Iori's mind, finally solved he found he was able to focus more upon his environment, and he did so with gusto; instantly growing to appreciate the forest he had left behind and the wide, open grassy field that lay before and around him. Taking in deep, careful breaths, Iori soaked himself thoroughly into the area, trying to get rid of a strange nagging feeling that kept on bugging him at the back of his mind. It was only as he took a third whiff of the air did Iori realize exactly what was wrong, to which, he gave voice immediately. "Ryuzaki-Senpai, I recognize this scent. It is the scent that is said to be excreted by rivers, of which, the River Country is known to have many of near it's borders. Thus, with simple deduction, I can state that I believe we are close to, if not, now traveling past, the border into the River Country." Iori explained in an almost monotone voice.

[[Click Spoiler for the reason of the quick traveling post]]
Spoiler:

The team traveled to the border of the river country. As Blaize was the team leader and knew more about the land then his partner has gave him the reason to lead them forward. As they entered the gates of the river country two Chuunin guards asks for their verification. Blaize held up a scroll that said Mission on it and then he started to speak to the country’s guards. “Suna’s Blue team winning member of the Fargon West Suna War games, Ryuzaki Blaize. This is my partner and we would like to request access to pass.” The Chuunin guards started to ruffle to paper as they seen the Suna Wargames section of winners. They searched to the winner’s of the Fargon west and saw the name and picture of Ryuzaki Blaize. They looked up to verify and nod their heads to let them through. Blaize was relief that he did not have to answer a whole bunch of question on why he was here. He then started to look at the guards and then started to ask them a question. Forgive me, but I have heard that there was problems on the trading routs and some bandits are making merchants scared of traveling to sell their goods. Knowing the river country is close to travel the rice country then Suna I would like to know about merchant names Kuni. Is he still here I was told that I would be able to talk to him. The Chuunin nodded and then one of them spoke to him to answer the questions. So you are the ones to deal with the issue of the rice country. Since we are limited in staff here in the Rice country they must of sent someone from the village to help in this situation. I never thought that you, one of the Suna war game’s winners, would go out to help this. Well the man you two are looking for is straight down. It is the fourth house to your left. He has been failing to deal with the bandits himself. He was robbed a couple of times but he still is determined to go out to sell to make some profit. It seems if you would help him then It would be good to help out his efforts.

Blaize nodded and bowed as he looked at his teammate and signaled him to continue. As he then walked towards the house he started to speak. When I went to the Suna office to get the mission scroll I thought we might need a merchant to help us in our mission. They suggested this Kunai guy. He is very stubborn and did not quit on trading. They were days when he was robbed and days when he is not. It seems that the bandit have grown accustom to steal from him. This is where our plan comes in. If we help him out then we can get in the bandit’s group and continue on the assignation. I will explain when we get inside. When they reached the house He started to knock on the door as he waited for a response. There was a loud crash as there was a sound after words “Who Is it?” Blaize responded with; We are here from Suna and are here to help you with your troubles There was a pause as then the sounds of locks were becoming unhinged the sound of 10 different locks started to become unlocked as the door started to open. It was a middle age man with some bifocals. He wore a brown robe around him and his eyes look kind of squinted. He examined both of them and then saw the Suna headband’s as he then spoken. So you are here from Suna to help. Come in come in I thought Suna would never have answered my letters. Blaize did not want to tell him about the letters because he did not know of any letters. Though the person who sent Blaize to go find him must of read the letters. He then walked in and told his partner to follow him. Then the merchant started to close the door and lock the locks and smiled as he told them to sit down. So you are here to help me. Well how do you attempt to do this. Sit boys sit start explaining.

Blaize admired him for going to the point he looked at his partner and then spoken something to him before he addressed the man Iori, I need you to pay special attention to this. [[To the Man]] Well you see sir there has been many complaints about the trade route of the rice country and that there was a group of bandits taking and stealing what is not there. Amongst the complaints you were one of the merchants who complained. The Kazekage’s Mission writers have suggested whoever take this mission to get some aid from you. I have in one of the team members that have won the Fargon west’s war game and they have suggested me to come to help in this matter along with my teammate Iori. We have been assigned to take this operation down but we need your help. You see sir we have been told to take down the operation but it has to be from the inside and the only way to do that is to pretend to be bandits as well. Here is my plan, when you go out once more to trade the bandits may come over to try to steal from you again. When that happens we will try to intercept them and then try to rob you at the same time, as rouge bandits of course. Once that happens we will try to get ourselves to be allowed in the bandits clan and then we will work from the inside. Then we will try to get close to the leader and find a way to make his death look like an accident. Thus making the clan scatter and disband. Of course is someone tries to be foolish and be the leader then we will have to go with the backup plan. That is to knock them all down and hand them over to the village for their crimes. If not well, death to all is the next option. Since this is plan and since this may change we have to assume that we have to change the plan if need be. Sir What I need you to do is co-operate for the plan and travel with us to the rice country. Once there we will focus on the plan but when we are done I need you tell everyone to travel with their most less valuable items for the stealing will continue until the assisnation is done. Please make sure that everyone wears a blue wristband so we known that you come from the rive country so we can know which ones to target. If they do not have a wristband to wear something blue. Is that understandable?”

After hearing all that the man stopped for a moment and then nodded. I see, so we have to deal with this just a little bit longer. I hope all is worth it Sir. I am In, I trust in you guys to get this done. After tomorrow I will worn the rest of the merchants here to wear blue and to travel with the most common of items. For now it is about to be nite time now both of you can rest here for the night. One of you can go to the sofa and the other in the chair I have. We will be ready for tomorrow. Good luck you to

Blaize thanked him and then instructed his partner to keep his plan in mind and then spoken IF you have any issues on the plan or want to add something now is the time. We have to make sure that we are bandit like so what I want you to do is to leave all your ninja gear behind, as well as any clothes that will symbolize yourself as a shinobi. For example my vest or something like that. Only original tools like katana or something like that you should travel with but all the shrunken, paper bombs, kunai and tolls like that is off limits. That also includes our jutsu. This should not be too hard for you since you excel in Taijutsu. Now with our clothes without any Suna recognition we should be able to pass for ordinary people. Now the one thing I want to tell you is that we will travel just a minute or two behind him. Once the bandits come we will come out as well to steal him. Then try to make them think that we should become new recruits.

Once the two finish their conversation for the night they fell asleep. They were then woken up to go and get ready for travel. Just as instructed, Blaize left all of his ninja gear except for his katana that he held on his back. Once Iori has done the same the three of them left. The merchant was ahead of them and started to make his travel to the fire country’s border and towards the rice country. After five minutes he started to nod to his teammate and then they would start to travel out to the merchant’s direction. The plan was starting now, for now it is a waiting game to travel to the Rice country.

Out To Work (Blaize, Private, Mission)(Part 2 of 3) Vide
PostSubject: Re: Out To Work (Blaize, Private, Mission)(Part 2 of 3) Out To Work (Blaize, Private, Mission)(Part 2 of 3) EmptySun 23 Jan 2011, 9:11 pm

Initake had been traveling for a few days, wandering the desert for a mission that sent him to River Country. He knew he would be meeting up with someone, but he wasn't sure who it would be.

He frequently felt like he was going to pass out, due to dehydration, or sometimes even a heat stroke, but he kept with him enough water to prevent from either of this happening. From the distance he traveled from Suna to River Country, the fact that he survived it was ridiculous.

He spent most of this time alone, but a Suna Ninja, not known to him, was joining him. However, even though it was a genin, a novice genin at that, he couldn't be happier when he figured out who it was. A blast from the past. His "Little Brother", Sodaina. They weren't technically brothers, but due to their colorful past together, they considered one another part of each other's family, which was technically true, because they are both a part of the Inuzuka Clan.

Since early childhood, they were inseparable. They were three years apart in age, but that didn't matter to them. They trained together, learned together, and did everything else together. Initake taught Sodaina how to be a shinobi, while Sodaina had taught Initake how to control his anger and become a better person.

Initake had entered the Academy at age nine, the bare minimum, leaving Sodaina behind for a time, and he regretted this every day. Though, when Ini graduated, Sodaina was just entering. Initake was just turning seventeen by the time Sodaina became a genin. Initake had let Sodaina slip his mind when he was on a mission, for he needed to focus. But now, it was like when they were children all over again. Initake knew Sodaina could take care of himself, but he still felt as if he were his responsibility.

They had finally reached the official gate of River country, with the rain pouring uncontrollably on their already water-logged noggins, persistent to drown them in it's undying perseverance to drown them. Initake led he and Sodaina deeper into the country, to proceed on with the mission. When they actually arrived at the Gates, the guards, as to be expected, halted their progress.

"And who might you be, gentlemen?" The guard asked, in a rather condescending manner. "Well, since you must know to let us in..." Initake retrieved the scroll from his backpack, "We are from Sunagakure, on a mission for Kazekage-Sama. We were sent here to meet with a couple other shinobi such as ourselves. My name is Inuzuka Initake, Suna Chuunin, and thiss here is my friend, and clanmate, Inuzuka Sodaina, Sua Genin. Now, how about that entry?" Initake clenched a fist behind his back, but Sodaina, bein the helpful person he was, shot him a look warning him not to.

The guard froze. "So THIS is Inuzuka Initake. Wow, never thought I'd see such a force looking like you, my friend. No offense intended, but I pictured you being monstrous in size! Welcome, welcome in! Your friends Ryuzaki Blaize and Mikoto Iori have arrived earlier, to meet a merchant in one of our cartels. Straight down the main road, fourth on the left. Thank you for visiting River!"

Initake and Sodaina nodded, and proceeded on, after saluting the guard. Initake then spoke. "Thanks for saving my ass back there, I'm not a patient guy, as you know. You know I would've went off on him." He gave him daps. He then counted the houses in his mind as he proceeded down the road. One.... Two.... Three.... Four! "Here we are!"

Initake inhaled heavily, and urged Sodaina on toward the house, though he didn't think that was necessary. Here looked to the home, and proceeded to knock on the door. He heard something crash on the floor from the inside, and heard someone speak. "Hey, look! More company!"
