Clan Name: Kagone Clan
Clan Location: Wandering/Scattered
Clan Traits: All members of the Kagone Clan are given a shamisen and taught to play at the age of five. The clan also has specials weapons and tools that are more prone to vibrations, but do not vibrate on their own. The weapons require the clan member to have good vibration control to be able to use the weapons effectively. These weapons and tools are as shown:

Name: Vibrating Kunai

Special Abilities/Characteristics: The vibration kunai is very much like a normal kunai in all respects but one: it is much more prone to vibrations. This allows the kunai to vibrate at a much larger range of frequencies than most other weapons. It does not vibrate on its own and is very prone to breaking if hit by another weapon, due to the large amount of vibrating caused by the force of metal hitting metal.
Origin: This special kunai is handed down through the Kogane clan.

Natural Abilities: The vibration wire is very much like normal wire in all respects but one: it is much more prone to vibrations. This allows the wire to vibrate at a much larger range of frequencies than most other weapons. It does not vibrate on its own and is very prone to snapping if hit by another weapon, due to the large amount of vibrating.

Kekkei Genkai: Vibration Control; Not necessarily sound waves, can be vibrations of almost any kind, except when an opponent uses a jutsu to create vibrations of their own (i.e. using lightning chakra to make a sword vibrate so that it has increased cutting potential). Can create some small, normally unnoticable vibrations within ten feet of their own bodies. NOTE: NO members of the Kagone Clan can make an opponent's sword/weapon vibrate enough to force them to drop it without specific guidelines (see Secret Clan Jutsu).
Secret Clan Jutsu:

Name: Sonar
Rank: E
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: N/A
Description: The clan member using this jutsu must first have their bare feet touching the ground. They will then push a single, low-frequency vibration through and along the ground. The vibrations will bounce off of anything inside of or on the ground up to 100 feet if the user is alone, 50 feet if the user is with someone, 25 feet if with two people, etc., allowing the clan member to be able to know where something or someone is if he gets close enough. It takes an entire post (the post after this skill is used) to interpret the rebounding vibrations. This leaves the ninja open for attack while he/she is focused on deciphering the huge amount of information. The technique will not be able to detect opponents if they are not on or in the ground (also does not detect opponents hiding in trees). If the opponent is not moving, this jutsu will not be effective in finding them.

Name: A Great Many Punches

Type: Taijutsu
Element: N/A
Description: The clan member makes his/her own hand vibrate at such speeds that when they strike, the punch is much more powerful and can even tear or burn clothes from the friction caused by the quick vibrations causing the hand to move about instead of staying in place. The downside is that any damage caused to the opponent is also caused to the hand used to punch, unless the user has some kind of protective covering. The more protective covering used, the less damage this jutsu will do, because protective covering is much more difficult to vibrate:
One layer of protective covering: 1.5x damage of normal punch, 10% of damage done to the hand.
Two layers of protective covering: 1.25x damage of normal punch, 5% of damage done to the hand.
Three layers of protective covering: Same as normal punch, no damage done to hand.
Precise punches are nearly impossible while using this technique.

Name: Forced Disarm

Description: The clan member using this jutsu must first wrap their special vibration wire around an opponent's weapon within ten feet of the user. He/she will then push vibration through the vibrating wire and vibrate the sword itself, causing it to vibrate at a very high frequency. It takes one entire post (the post after the wires are strung to the weapon) to find the correct frequency before the sword is extremely difficult for the opponent to hold on to, much less utilize correctly. This jutsu is normally used to either make an opponent drop their weapon or to make the weapon difficult to handle. The wire is easy to break, however, making it easy to escape within the single post of focus. This will work on B-ranked weapons and below, as higher-ranking and better-quality weapons would be much less susceptible to the vibrations.


Name: Earth Shaker
Rank: A
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: N/A
Description: There must first be at least twenty kunai stuck in the ground with either a single wire connecting them all together or each with one wire connected to the clan member's hands/fingers. Putting the hands into the Snake handseal, the user focuses for two posts to push the vibrations along the string(s) and into the kunai, causing them all to vibrate at the same time and at the same frequency, which causes the ground to shake. The more kunai there are, the higher the power of the localized earthquake.
20 kunai - Noticable ground shaking. No other effects.
30 kunai - Slightly more foreceful ground shaking. Causes small particles to shift back and forth, making footing difficult at times.
40 kunai - Even more forceful ground shaking. Can cause skyscraper-tall structures to crash.
50 kunai - Impossible for a human being to stay upright.
This localized earthquake also affects the clan member, so the user's footing also becomes difficult (30 kunai), or it is also impossible for them to stay upright (50 kunai).

History:
Kagone Clan Shamisen-1
Long before the Sage of Six Paths created ninjutsu, the Kagone Clan were a simple band of masterful shamisen players and makers. The best musician among them was named Ongakumaru, who claimed that he could feel the vibrations of the shamisen inside him when he played. A few years after the Sage of Six Paths founded ninjutsu, Ongakamaru became the leader of a new clan of ninja who used their shamisen to defeat other ninja. Though they never became very famous, almost anyone who carried a shamisen was thought to be one of the clansmen, and a shamisen became the clan's symbol.
Though the Kagone Clan was not strong enough to gain the attention of the great doujutsu clans, the Kagone Clan did fear one clan in particular: a clan that could negate sounds around them and cause utter silence. The Kagone Clan mounted a surprise attack, however, and it is believed that this sound-negating clan was wiped from the face of the earth. Ongakumaru, who was wounded in the attack, died from an infection, but he gave his prized shamisen to his grandson, allowing his family to continue leading the clan.
After many, many years of partial success, the Kagone Clan have, for the most part, gotten rid of the shamisen. Instead, they use the more modern ninja wire, which they have changed to be more like the shamisen strings from long before. Only one shamisen was held on to, and that was Ongakumaru's special shamisen, though there were no longer any blood heirs to lead them.

So this practically allows you to automatically detect somebody's location? You need to specify if anything can counter this and it would certainly be higher than E-ranked.

My problem is that you say the damage to your fist can be reduced or avoided through a protective covering, the problem with this is covering would still friction, certain materials are capable of avoiding friction, for example; if you get a new pair of shoes, you wear two or three pairs of socks to avoid friction blisters on your feet/toes. So this bit will need to be altered.

At B-rank this would only be effective on B-ranked and below weaponry. A-S ranked weaponry would be too resistant to the vibrations. Also, this wire needs to be explained, maybe add it to the clan traits.

This just looks like an adaptation of the canon sound-nin abilities which is perfectly fine. Its just that it doesn't really need to be clan based. A single nin can perfect this as their "signature" for vibration. They you just have a weaponary speciality and make the weapons. Fair enough?

That's actuallly why I made the clan; so I wouldn't have to juggle specialties in my head like that to make the new weapons for my jutsu. But yes, I agree that it is very similar to the canon sound-nin abilities, and what you suggest is fair. I'll have to think about how to make it work with my specialties. Go ahead and archive this, if you like.

You do realize that Weaponry is the only specialty you would need for this to keep it legit, and you do realize that even with the clan you would still require weaponry to use the weapons from your clan?
