First off, Kazou has a decent muscular build, although he lacks just a tad bit with Taijutsu because it isn't one of his specialties. He has a scar running across his right breast, which he obtained from a wolf attack. Second, he is 5'5, somewhat of a disappointment to him. Then, he weighs in at 110lbs. Which leads to his appearance. Kazou has spikey blonde hair, and wears his black ninja forehead protector sideways on his head. He has blue eyes which always share his emotions. He wears a black jacket, with a deep red flame pattern on the bottom. The jacket goes down to about his ankles, where the sleeve's go farther than just the hands. The Uzumaki clan symbol is on the right forearm of the jacket, aswell it appears on the back. He wears a black, long sleeved shirt, which shows the muscular build he has. On it's back, is also the Uzumaki clan symbol. One the left upper arm of the shirt, is the Uzumaki clan symbol again. He wears black, knee-length pants, which are somewhat loose fitting yet tight.

The pants also have both front and back pockets, and Kazou keeps his black wallet in those. The belt he wears is more like a black sash that has a similar pattern to his jacket; but it is red with black flames. On the back of his left leg, he carries two kunai holders that are side-by-side. The one closer to his knee has the Uzumaki symbol on it, adding yet another whirlpool to the design. From his knee down, is covered in bandages which cover more scars from the wolf attack. These scars are much more damaging and are a weak point for Kazou. He wears black shinobi sandals, in which most often he has the bandages wrapped around them. On his left hand, he wears a glove with the Uzumaki symbol on it. This glove also helps hide another scar.

Whenever Kazou is sleeping, he'll sleep in his boxer shorts, which are mostly purple. Some may wonder why but he's comfortable around other guys. But when around girls, he'll show some modesty and wear pj pants. His pj pants have no real design, and are colored black. He may wear an undershirt with the pants, but normally chooses not to. His skin is a little tan, but mostly the regular shade of peach most people are.

Kazou has a "Believe it or leave it", Attitude towards life. He knows when he can do something, be cannot admit when he can't do something. Ge is mischievious, often enjoying mindless pranks to get some attention. He is poorly disaplined, and often can get lost in his own thoughts because he never really thinks things through to the end. This leads him to be stubborn, with a load of curiosity. Kazou can almost never resist a "curious attack", as it is his one true weakness when he cant' figure something else. He can even be cocky and arrogent at times, saying things he may not mean, or causing a problem when trying to help. But beneearth all that, there is plenty more Kazou, than just a hyperactive child with social problems.

He can be kind when he needs to be, and does have manners although he is a goof. He let's his bad habits easily take over, something he hates because he gets lectured for it. He is one that believes in loving, protecting and cherishing those you care for, showing a more subtle and calmer side of kazou. He often hates how he looks, because the "blonde hair, blue eyes", only ever works for girls. However retains feature's from his adoptive father as well. Like being exuberant, impatient, impulsive, and inattentive. Kazou also, learns through his body, something he picked up on his own. He relatively naive and simple, being slow to pick up a principal or situation. However Kazou has a large amount of Confidence in himself. He also believes in friends. He's never once had a true friend that stayed with him, and this bothers Kazou.

However he can be completely serious in battle, never wanting to mess up, or cost himself any ground. He is determined, and never stops fighting until he just can't fight anymore. He doesn't view that has a fault, as he takes pride in putting so much effort into things, it makes him smile. Of course though, when going into battle, Kazou wil hardly have a batle plan, and enjoys trying to make one up as he goes along.

Uzumaki merely by name, Kazou's true family orginated from Konoha and died on the day he was born because of treasonous acts. Although he went and lived with a distant relative, who gave him the last name of "Uzumaki", Kazou was not branded a traitor, and lived without the knowledge of the conspiracies his parents had against Konoha. As a young infant, Kazou was as playful and energetic as he would become, causing problems for his relative around the house and such. His favourite toy was a stuffed pug that he called "Itazuki". Every night the young Kazou went to sleep, he would cry and be restless until he was given his Itazuki. He went everywhere with it, and often fussed when he was taken without it. As he got older and started playing with other younger boys, he stopped caring for Itazuki, but still kept the pug. He left it at home, as he would go out and play ninja with other younger boys.

Kazou was an excellent player in the game, keeping up with even the most competetive players but still having fun. He never worried about who was on his team, and he always encouraged people to do their best during the game. He often teamed up with Akimichi and Nara and a various of other Konoha clan children. Although he wasn't much of a leader, Kazou was happy to oblige and play it to his best. Often more so than less, his team would win because they thought on the fly and changed strategy without repeating a strategy twice in a game. However he often confused his team because they couldn't always keep up with his "On the fly planning". Eventually he grew out of playing that game and started thinking about joinong the Academy.

AS he entered the Academy, Kazou struggled to keep his grades up. It continued like this, and he had trouble molding chakra to perform techniques. Although the many Academy teachers speculated that Kazou had a larger chakra supply than most people, he just didn't have the finner aspect of chakra molding learned thrugh someone teacher him. It wasn't until his 11th try that he was able to mold chakra and transform into his teacher. Later, he began practicing the Shadow Clone Technique, and it took him a while longer to utilise it aswell, but in the end, he learned it. Eventually, he had trouble at the final exam of the Academy, but through sheer willpower, Kazou passed and became a genin at age 10. Of course his teacher thought Kazou wouldn't make a great shinobi, Kazou had a different ideal.

As a genin, Kazou was assigned to a squad in Konoha, being on Team 312, a name their sensei called the team, refusing to call it his first name. Kazou represented the 1, where as the medical ninja in the squad represented 2, and then the taijutsu and weaponry specialist was refered to as 3. These numbers also represented their style and importance, including their battle formation, with Kazou being leader, Aoi being support and To being the heavy hitter. Their sensei represented the Team part, being the one who gave them knowledge. They learned to adapt this strategy, because their sensei would more often than less, be on a mission that they couldn't handle. As a result, Kazou lead the squad on plenty of missions, always looking out for them. But of course, nothing beautiful lasts forever. After a failed Chunin Exams, To and Aoi abandoned Konoha, vowing that one day it would perish. Kazou, shook his head in disbelief as he had spent almost a year befriending them just to be tossed away.

After one more year, Kazou abandoned Konoha one year before it's destruction, because he hadn't learned anything from his sensei. He learned from To and Aoi, that betrayl will come, but of course Kazou ignored that, and kept his beliefs. Some of which were that he could actually keep any friends he made from falling away from him. After this revalation, Kazou vowed to always protect his friends from harms way, even at the cost of his own life. He later wandered into Sunagakure, joining up with them, and then the latter, which was learning of Konoha's abandonment and mourning the loss. He then proceeded to start wearing what most people would see him wear today. He incopperated the Uzumaki clan symbol onto his clothing, and then vowed he would restore Konoha to its' former glory.
