RP Incentive

Award mission points for completed topics in addition to actual missions (might want to change it from mission points to something else if this is done.). Just make it less than a mission so people have an incentive to do social topics or spars and still gain some points. This would also encourage people to finish their topics so that they can receive points.

This was my original concept, but it's exactly like NWOTN 3.0 and we use them as an influence enough already. :/

I thought of it without looking at NWOTN 3.0 (I was on there briefly but didn't really know the system all that much) so I don't find using the idea problematic. If the shoe fits, wear it.

And some people are just more inclined to RP if theres is some sort of reward. Not everyone is like that. Heck, I'd even be more willing to RP if there were shiny rewards involved (just in case I'm not willing enough).

PAC on Ingoo is where you get points to buy jutsu and what not. To receive PAC points there, you just submit topics you were in, whether they be social RP, ect. Mods grade them, and you get points for it.

It would be nothing like the PAC system, the PAC system earns you points which are like a currency, if I'm not mistaken. Which you then use to purchase jutsu, weapons etc.

I agree that just because other sites have done something similar to this doesn't mean that we shouldn't do it. Personally I think it's a great idea.

If you're having a dilemma deciding if you should implement something based on the possibility of being a copy of NWOTN, you could simply go to NWOTN and contact the head admin. Rolling Eyes

Fortunately enough that guy has some magic powers and suddenly, he's here as you realize it, telling you it's really not a problem if you did this. All is well. *nods*

The only time I've mentioned something was when we had graphics that were way too similar, which is completely different. This is about functionality.

Well... take example the XBox reward system. You don't just play the game because you love it, you play it because you also get points. Is there any use for points? No, they are just there for the heck of it. Same as the PS3 reward system. It doesn't make the game any better than it is but people still love to feel as they have accomplished something.
