Too Much To Bear.

Falling off the cliff of the cave, Inari could feel the strong wind blowing against her face, causing her long brown hair to form a straight line. It was slightly waving as she moved her hands in order to manage the direction of her flight downwards. During these seconds, the girl's mind presented to her what had happened the previous night. She remembered standing up from the chair and walking over to Koden, but everything beyond that was blank. She could recall him saying that sleep was of paramount importance and that he was sorry about something. What was he sorry about? And why did she fall asleep so suddenly? Was the fatigue stronger than she anticipated? Or did her sleep have to do something with the captain himself? The girl didn't know the answer to these questions, but her mind had started to get suspicious about this man. What if there was some kind of drug in the food which had let them fall asleep? But then again, he had eaten from it too. Of course he could have slipped it in the moment he filled their bowls, but did he have any reasons to do that? Inari didn't think so, but these kind of questions were running through her head not leaving her alone. As if that weren't enough, she had woken up on him and didn't know how this had happened. He hadn't talked to her since then, even when he passed her an apple. Maybe she did something that irritated him and that was why he wasn't talking to her. But still, there was one question that bothered her the most; Why couldn't she remember?

Seeing as the forest neared, the female spread forward her arms which, with the addition of the backpack's weight, caused her to fall even faster. Her blue eyes formed to thin slots while she fell through a tree and grabbed a big enough branch so as to not fall on the earth. Having the fall's momentum, she used the force to swing herself around the branch and to land on the dirty path. She immediately took off behind Koden, expecting her team comrades to fall on top of her if she didn't move.

As she was rushing through the dirt paths she took in the terrain. It was nothing special but it was something the girl wasn't used to. Having grown up in Kumogakure, and having never left the village to such a distance before, Inari was quite amazed with the area. Even though it had nothing but rocks, dust and dirt the lack of flora and fauna set her in awe. This didn't last long, though, because of the sadness that suddenly hit her. Everything was so ... empty. For kilometers there would be nothing but this environmental condition. "They need to hire a gardener..." she mumbled as she continued running, trying to keep up with the leader.

After a good hour of traveling, the group finally reached the surrounding area of the borders of the Bear Country. Inari stopped, and looked at the back of the captain's head. Inari was waiting for Koden to speak up, to give them orders. The medic had become stubborn; He didn't talk to her so she would refuse to talk to him unless it was necessary.

Kyo’s eyes started to widen slowly as the silence of his dreams was broken. The darkness that invaded the area now shinned with the light from the sun. It was morning, how much time has passed he did not know. He looked over and noticed that the team needed to get up and ready for the day’s plan. He started to get up slowly and then cracked his neck for relief. As he got up he started to pack u[ and clean his side of his tent before doing anything else. After wards he then started to help out the rest of the team to clean out the campsite so that they could be on their way to the bear country. One thing that he had done before hand was to eat his left over food. As one might think, why would one eat something cold as leftovers? Well the reason for that was Kyo was able to heat up his food with his chakra. By placing chakra on his hands he started to heat up the plate to become warm. After which he went to eat his breakfast. As that was done he completed the rest of his cleaning duties. It wasn’t until then did their leader give him an apple for breakfast. He took the apple and thanked him then he placed his apple in his pocket for latter. He wasn’t hungry for an apple after finishing his left over bowl from the previous night that they had the two bowl dinner.

Kyo started to check if he had everything for the trip. Everything was placed back, the campfire and torches were gone. His knapsack was on and that seemed to be it except for the sunglasses. He started to take them out and noticed they were a bit wet after last night storm. He started to clean them out with his shirt and when he was done the water was gone. He smiled and started to place them on as he was ready to leave. The rest of the team was ready to leave to. As such the leader explains that the journey was not much longer now. He nodded as the team was to move out. First by the leader, then by the female of the group, then by Kyo himself, and then Morel. As the team left he saw the two jump over the cliff. He started to follow them and notice the long jump down to the trees. He looked at his target to land and started to land on the branch as whole body was positioned as a frog like stance before he jumped again to the next branch. As he followed them he started to swing at the next tree so he could jump n the next tree with a bit of more height. The team, he could tell, was ready for the bear country and for what it would bring. He was excited as well the reason for this travel will soon be in reach. He just hopes that the mission would all go according to plan. Speaking of which, besides the briefing he had not know the exact course of action the leader has chosen to do. Has he already got the plan focused on his head or is he waiting until they reach the border to explain. Even though something had to be done. The best action, Kyo believed, was to dress as civilians after the travel. The last thing Kumo needs is the land’s villagers to wonder what are Kumo shinobi doing in their land and for what purpose. Well it was just a thought now.

He started to land on the ground and started to dash with the team to their target zone. The border was getting close and into their grasp. Just a few more travel time and they will be their. He was glad this tram was not like the last one or else his legs won’t forgive him as easily as they did last night. For now the focus and attention had to be given to the mission and his team. Kyo was ready. Ready for everything that the bear country had to offer.

Rolling over on the floor of the tent, a voice rang out from the former silence of the night. Koden, their leader, was calling for the group to wake up. Almost immediately Morel opened his eyes, being a light sleeper, he would often awake to some of the more unnoticeable sounds. Sitting up, he stretched his arms and cracked his back. Hard stone floors never made for the best sleeping spots, no matter how padded it may be. Standing up, he left the tent as Koden and Kyo began cleaning up the cave. Morel immediately went over to his makeshift clothesline and tested his shirt. Finally having it dry, he took it off the line and put it on, then the cloak Koden had given him the day prior. Yanking the line he rolled up the line and placed it in his pack alongside his kunai he used to mount it.

It was this point that Koden called out "Breakfast" and Morel turned just in time to catch an apple that had been tossed at him. Spinning it in his hand for a second, he proceeded to take a bite. The group then proceeded to head outside the cave, Koden explaining how their trip this time round would be shorter before taking one last moment to be sure he was prepared and leaping off the nearby cliff into the forest below. Inari, the young chunin following quickly after. Morel finished up his apple as Kyo leaped off the edge after the other two. Morel walked to the edge of the cliff, placing the apple core in his pouch to dispose of properly later as to not leave any evidence that they were there. He then took out his cigarette pack and pulled out his used cigarette, placing it in his mouth and the pack in his pocket. Grabbing a match, he stepped off the cliff and proceeded to lite the smoke as he fell. Extinguishing the match with a flick of his wrist he landed on an outcropping of stone on the cliff. Crouching down, he shot himself forward with a powerful leap. His legs fresh and ready to do, he streaked across the sky and into the treeline. Thin branches brushing across his body as he reached out with both arms, grabbing a thick branch and swinging under it, flying several more feet before landing on a second branch another tree over and leaping again. Quickly catching up to the group, he landed on the trail they were running on, he once more took up the rear.
