Name: Hanshou, Ryoushi

Secondary Title: Friends call him Ryou

Physical Appearance:

Ryoushi is 5'8" tall and 140 lbs. His muscles are toned from years of training in martial skill. He has scars over most of his torso from training with the clans Debiru Rensa and cutting himself when he took a wrong step or twisted the wrong way. His skin is a bronze tan colored and his hair is almost black. His face is lone with a well defined jaw line and Blue eyes. On his left arm the is a tattoo wrapping around his upper arm of alternating symbols that look like regular and upside down V's

When going out on missions Ryoushi puts on armor over his torso made of overlapping leather with steel plates folded in for maximum protection and mobility. He wraps leather around his forearms and wrists to act as bracers. Ryoushi never wears a shirt and proudly shows his toned and scared skin under this armor. Around Ryoushi's waist is a black leather belt that continues down his left hip. He wears red pants made of a silk like cloth and black leather boots rather then the sandals worn by other ninja.

Hanshou, Ryoushi [Kumo Genin] Prince_of_persia

When traveling to colder regions Ryoushi will put on a gray colored cloak with a hood. This cloak falls to the top of his boots and is meant to blend in with the environment of snowy or rainy regions. It is made of the same silk like material that his pants are made from and is warmer then it looks.

Personality:
Ryoushi almost never shows emotions. Although he does have them he prefers to keep them hidden from the world and only showing them to his closest friends. He loves to read and listen to music and hates what he thinks of as weakness. Weakness to Ryoushi is anybody who does not strive to make themselves stronger and those that do not hold to their convictions. Rather then give up on people he sees as weak however, Ryoushi will try to motivate them to become stronger.

Ryoushi believes that loyalty is more important then anything else, loyalty to your team first and to your village second. He will never leave a team member behind and always follows orders. Rather then attack an opponent directly Ryoushi prefers to retreat and hide from them, waiting for an opportunity to present itself for a quick attack. If his attack does not succeed he will retreat again and wait until the opponent leaves himself open again.

Ryoushi never uses his Kekkei Genkai for long periods. Instead he activates it when he attacks and retreats. Once he is hidden he will deactivate it until he gets another chance to attack and activates it again just before attacking. He does this to maximize the amount of damage his attacks do and allow his body to recover a little before his next attack. He is however ruthless when he attacks, taking any opening and always trying to kill. He has no problems killing other people.

The only thing Ryoushi loves more then being a ninja is food. Even though he knows he will have to work extra hard to burn off the calories, Ryoushi can not turn down good food. He loves to cook for others as well and watch them eat. The best feeling in the world for Ryoushi is to watch someone enjoy the food that he prepares for them.

This jutsu relies on the users physical speed and strength to get close and get their opponent as high in the air as they can.

When they are at a similar alltitude as their opponent the user will extend one leg to kick them back to the ground. This causes them damage not only from the kick but from the impact with the ground. The stronger the user is, the faster they spin and the more damage this attack does.

Description: The user first jumps into the air above their opponent. From here they begin to spin with their arms close to their chest like a drill. As they fall their spinning speed will increase with the help of gravity. If this connents it will cause damage from the fall and can cause the skin to split from the spinning motion. If they miss the ground will give way under them and cause the user to dig into the earth, forcing them to get out before any more attacks can be made and leaving them open for counter attack. Because of this, this jutsu is best used as a surprise attack.

Description: The user will start off in a run and jump slightly into the air with both a slightly backward and spinning motion. In doing this they will end up horizontal and spinning as they continue to move towards their opponent through the air. If this connents it will know the opponent down and make them spin slightly so that their back is to the user leaving them open for more attacks. If for any reason the user needs to stop in mid attack they will extend their hand punch down into the ground, slowing their spin and allowing them to push themselves back onto their feet.

Description: Rather then using a closed fist the user will push away at their opponent with and open palm. This is done in order to get some distance between them and the opponent should they need to be further away to set up another attack or should they just don't want to be so close. This jutsu causes no damage but can cause the opponent to lose balance. The distance the opponent travels backward is determined by the strength of the user.

Description: The user will first need to be hidden from the opponent before they can use this jutsu. While their opponent has their backs turned they will spin very fast and go underground. If the opponent is looking at them their possition could be compromised by the turned up dust and dirt. When they are underground they wait until their opponent gets near to where they dug in and burst back up above ground. This will cause rocks and chunks of dirt to fly in every direction, pumling the opponent and distracting them while the user sets up for their next attack. The rocks and dirt do not cause damage and only distract the opponent.

This dagger is made of dark colored steel. The weapon is almost entirely black with the exceptions of the blade turning a blue color about halfway to the tip and a white moon with four white dots near the guard on the blade. The hilt of the weapon is made of black steel and has hollowed out section. In this hollowed section of the hilt is a perfectly clear metal with water inside it to help the weapon maintain balance. The guard twists in almost an S shape to allow the user to spin it around in their hands.

Origin: This weapon is made for and presented to each clan member that graduates from the ninja academy. The dark steel represents the darkness in each person. The white moon representing the possibility for good in even the most evil people. The blue part of the blade represents chakra as the life force of every person. Taken along side the Joukai Tanken-(Heaven Dagger) these two weapons represent the total balance between good and evil, showing that they are two parts of the same whole.

Origin:Ryoushi stocks up on these whenever he gets back to the village from a mission and will sometimes take them from his opponents.

History:
Birth Arc:
Ryoushi was born to the Hanshou clan's richest family. He never knew his mother as she died in child birth. Growing up the only thing he did was train for the ninja academy and read. Because of this he developed a great love for books and a deep hatred for those talented people that don't have to work for anything. When he was old enough to join the ninja academy his father told Ryoushi that his mother had a vision for his future, that she wanted him to be a good person and a great ninja. Knowing that this was his mothers wish for him Ryoushi enrolled in the ninja academy with the goal of becoming strong enough to protect those he cared about and defend his village from attackers.

Academy Arch:
In the ninja academy Ryoushi studied hard and practiced every night at home. He read books on human anatomy and practiced his weaponry and taijutsu abilities. He trained hard with wooded swords and his clans weapons, finding that he was able to use them more effectively then his own fists. He found genjutsu impossible and ninjutsu harder for him then the other students and only managed to master the basics needed to graduate. When Ryoushi wasn't reading or practicing with his weapons his father took him out into the village and had Ryoushi practice his stealth abilities. If Ryoushi could remain hidden from his father and land an attack before his father was there then he would be allowed to choose what they ate for dinner.

Graduation Day
On the day Ryoushi graduated from the ninja academy he was happier then he had ever been in his life. When he got home his father was waiting for him in the kitchen of their small home. On the table there was a black box with gold trim on the table and two daggers on top of the box. When Ryoushi opened the box he found the gray traveling cloak he wears when going to cold or rainy regions. His father explained to him that these daggers were his now that he had graduated and that the cloak had once belonged to Ryoushi's uncle on his mothers side. Ryoushi swore to his father on that day to wear the cloak and weapons proudly and never disappoint his father. He also made an oath to himself to be the best ninja he could, never give up and protect the lives of those he cared about no matter the cost.

Role-Play Sample:

Ryoushi crouched low on the top branch of a tree. The sun had just begun to raise and the morning dew still sat thick on the leaves. A thin frost lay on the ground and some of the leaves on the trees were starting to change colors to bright oranges and reds. Nothing moved in this dense forest for almost an hour, during which time Ryoushi stayed completely still as he waited for his target.

The sound of footsteps on the slightly moist earth came to Ryoushi's ears. His muscles stiffened in anticipation for the coming action. His right arm moving ever so slightly to the dagger on his hip, pulling the blade a little bit from the sheath. In a moment he would strike and he wanted the blade to come free of its sheath without resistance. As Ryoushi waited he heard another noise, someone was talking. This would complicate things. He had planned for his target to be alone. Now that there was someone else their he would need to be careful not to leave himself open for counter attack.

It was almost ten more minutes before the two men came into view. The man on the right was his target, the one on the right and unwanted complication. Ryoushi crouched lower in his stance to stay hidden in case they looked up at him. After a few more moments they passed the tree he was in and continued on their way. Ryoushi leaped down to the ground, landing with a dull thud and crouched their, waiting to see if his targets had heard him. He could still hear them talking and the sounds were getting further away, he had not warned them of his presence. Then, just as Ryoushi was going to make his move they stopped.

"Hold on a second. I'm hungry, we should stop here and rest so I can eat something." said one of the men. Ryoushi recognized this as his targets voice.

"I don't think that's a good idea sir. There could be dangers in these woods we are unaware of." came the voice of the other man.

"Well, I pay you to protect me so if you do your job we have nothing to worry about."

Ryoushi could hear his target pull off his bag and the thud that came when he dropped it to the ground. Now that they were stationary an aerial attack would be best so Ryoushi used this chance to get back into the treetops while they were preoccupied with getting a fire started and unpacking pots and pans to cook with. It took them almost five minutes to get everything ready, just enough time for Ryoushi to get into position. Then it was a waiting game until the two of them were close enough together to take them both out in one move. Ryoushi got his chance when they sat down and started to eat.

He dropped from the tree and activated his Sonzai Inmetsu. His skin turned black and the scars on his torso began to glow a faint yellow as he fell directly above his targets. His hands flashed to the daggers on his belt and pulled them lose. He landed and spun, stopping with dagger to each of their necks. Ryoushi then stood up straight and deactivated his Kekkei Genkai. He spun the blades around in his hands and replaced them at his waist.

"I can't believe you got us that quickly Ryoushi. Your getting good at this." said the man that was playing the part of his target, his father.

• As a personal opinion, I'd suggest perhaps adding a few more techniques. Obviously they would need to be Taijutsu or Weaponry given your specialties, but I think it would do you more good.

I couldn't really find any Taijutsu that were not from Konoha only or character specific that I could use so I made a few of them up. I figured that would be okay sense they aren't ninjutsu or genjutsu and only different combo type attacks. If its not okay then I guess I'll post them as new jutsu and wait for them to be approved.
