| Okay, lets get a debate going yeah?
Personally, I prefer the manga. It's more detailed, far more further in and always seems to have a slightly more enticing cliffhanger than the anime. Plus, it's more thoroughly updated [Weekly.. I think.]
But then again, the anime is cartoon-ish, and styled. It makes the leaves wanting to watch more, and is honestly more efficient than the manga, as you can watch Naruto on TV, YouTube, or honestly, you can keep up with episodes being released on Narutopedia or Leafninja.
So lets see:
Manga: • More Detailed • Further into storyline • More enticing • More thoroughly updated • Almost always translated into English
Anime: • Cartoon-ish, catches watchers at young and old ages • Fantasy genre, specific style • Enticing storyline • Not as frequently updated • Not always in English
So guys, what do you think? Manga, or Anime? |

| Manga. So much better. The Anime usually has some nice fight sequences I'm looking forward to all the fight sequences at the Kage Summit and then the Shinobi War, they'll be sweet. |

| I love both. Manga just feels classic to me, plus it comes out first, but sometimes I can't even understand what's happening when it comes to a fight scene, or something intense happens. The anime is always pretty good, so it's self explanatory enough. |

| Manga > Anime, during every moment possible except for fighting scenes and important scenes I must see. |

| Definitely the manga. Why? Becasue it doesn't have plotless fillers thrown in at the end of each arc that make you want to chuck your computer/laptop across the room in frustration (*cough*Bount Arc from Bleach*cough*). If that weren't the case, I'd go with the anime, especially since any and all fight scenes from the manga are easier to comprehend in anime. |

| I have to say - a well done anime surpasses manga. Only if it is well done, like Sasuke vs. Deidara episode or Kakashi vs Hidan/Kukuzu or few other episodes. The music and motion just adds something more to the action than manga can. However, that only applies to well done manga, not those cheesy and boring moments, or even worse - fillers. In that case manga is far superior than anime.
As for other animes - depends on how well the anime is done. I cannot imagine reading Death Note manga and thinking that it is better than the anime, but for others its exactly the opposite.
I voted that I like both. |
