Good evening my fellow shinobi, the time has come! The Renaissance of New Beginnings has taken hold, and as foretold by the hopeful hearts of the villagers, life has once again blossomed back into the village of Konoha. Our hard work and preparation for our Summer Festival not only empowered the spirits of our villagers, but also sparked interest into one of the most illustrious village across the nations, the Moon Country. Lord Yoshiyuki, Moon Country's sovereign and political genius has decided to adopt Konoha's Summer Festival into their own traditions and host an event that would shake the ninja world like no other, the Moon Country Tournament. In the tournament, ninja of all villages, affiliations, and ranks will battle it out to claim the title as the Ultimate Shinobi of the Year. Lord Yoshiyuki [NPC] will proctor the tournament and make sure that fairness and the safety of all candidates are preserved, even nukenin. The tournament will be divided into two leagues, C-rank, and B+rank. Everyone is welcome to participate in the tournament and display their ninja talents with pride and honor.
So holster your weapons, know your jutsu, and center your mind, because there shall only be one true winner.
The Moon Country Tournament will begin Friday July 15th. That leaves all candidates two weeks to train and prepare themselves for the upcoming challenges. On the last couple of days we want all candidates to head over to Moon Country to participate. There will be rules within combat and strict posting time limits to make sure the tournament runs smoothly for everyone. But don't let this discourage you, the tournament will be fun for everyone and the winner will receive cool prizes. Even if you don't win, we want everyone to have some sort of prize to thank you for fighting in our event!
