| Basic Information: Name: Shu Kaguya Secondary Title: Age: 13 Gender: Male Physical Appearance:
Even at the age of 13, Shu is on the shorter side of 5’0 and only weighing in at 98lbs making him a smaller ninja of sorts. But the saying all good things come in small packages doesn’t change his attitude towards his appearance. Unfortunately though, to make up for his small stature, Shu has worked his body so much that his 98lbs is just about pure muscle. His train of thought was since he has no body to begin with, train it all into muscle and make it to the best it can be which unfortunately isn’t much despite how far Shu pushes his body. But since he is smaller, he is quite adept at agile and touch movements which help greatly with his Taijutsu and Kenjutsu.
Shu has snow white hair that is loosely tousled and feathered naturally backwards. Living in Kirigakure however has made his skin pale and makes his emerald eyes stand out. For his attire, he wears loose fitted pants that allow flexible and agile movements with a pair of strapped on ninja footwear that allow him to walk without cutting his foot wide open.. On upper body however, he wears a whitish grey sleeveless shirt with a green emerald dragon snaking around his body. Then for his hands, he has them both wrapped up tightly with tape to help protect his hands from being bruised up too badly and too help reduce the damage.
For his weapon placement, he keeps his generic ninja gear; wire, kunai, shuriken, exploding tags, etc.; in his weapons pouch on his backside for easy access. Then he keeps his dual wielding swords closest to his back with the hilts facing downwards so Shu can easily slide them out for a quick draw and slice. Hornet’s Sting is also kept on his back in a criss cross formation opposite of Dragon’s tooth. But they all lay nicely on a harness strap that blends in with his clothing that with a snap of a button, all his weapons can easily be dropped from his body and allow full access to his Taijutsu skills.
Personality: At such a young age where Genin tend to be cocky and think they are on top of the world, Shu isn’t, in fact, Shu is very modest and humble knowing that arrogance would be the death of him and his squad mates. Growing up Shu was instilled with the ideals that someone who is humble over someone who is cocky will always win because the cocky person would underestimate the opponent. Also helping with his humble nature is that Shu is a calm and collective soul who is hard to anger or upset. Although he can be annoyed with stupidity and idiocy, he loves those types of people because people who have the tendency to be cocky or arrogant draw Shu’s attention forcing him to want to battle them to determine whether or not it’s true or not. Shu tends to think out his plan and stays on his toes constantly always ready to spring into action and cut down an enemy’s ego. Although Shu is willing to cut down anyone who has a large ego, he does respect the ones that have the skill to back up their mouth. Contradictory, however, Shu is also extremely aggressive, which makes him a skilled opponent because he never holds back against anyone. Luckily he doesn’t hold grudges, and accepts defeat when it has occurred.
Despite his calm, collective behavior, Shu is quite friendly to others and courteous to elders around him. Raised with class, Shu knows where he is allowed to speak in and out of turn and around whom. Always willing to have some fun with friends, the young boy prefers adults to kids his own age unfortunately. He prefers to get into the affairs of adults and assist them and prove to them that he isn’t just a puny kid in their way. Shu has pride in the fact that he can prove he will be strong enough to serve closely to the Mizukage. Always wanting to get stronger too, Shu tends to spend days on end strengthening his core body hoping to advance his skills and get more powerful. Which leads to the fact that Shu is very thick headed at points where he won’t listen to anyone and keep on going to the point of him almost murdering himself. Shu hates to disappoint people and when he does he doesn’t take it well and takes it out on training his body.

- Name: Dragon’s Tooth
Quantity: 1 Rank: C Appearance: About 3 ½ feet in length, Dragon’s Tooth seems like a very wimpy and weak weapon but it was forged with a blacksmith of Kirigakure who helped Shu make it with an extremely strong metal, it is very light and easy to wield for Shu. Also while designing this sword, he left an odd amount of spots empty in the sword. He did this for numerous reasons, one so if he caught someone’s sword in the hole, he could easily disarm them and two, so he could manipulate his bones into the sword for added strength. Special Abilities/Characteristics: Very Sharp and Shu can use many jutsu with the sword. Cannot channel his bones through the sword until Chuunin rank. Origin: Forged with his own sweat and blood, he was supervised and taught by the village blacksmith, Shu created his very first and main sword. With some of the divots and holes in the sword, it allows Shu to entwine his own bone marrow into the sword to add an extra hardiness and strength to the weapon. It took over a month to forge and prefect in creating this handcrafted weapon.
Name: Hornet’s Sting Quantity: 1 Rank: D Appearance: 2 feet in length, this small short sword has a sharp edge and is light enough to get in a few quick jabs or can be used as a giant throwing sword. Special Abilities/Characteristics: N/A Origin: Bought It from a mercenary that was selling goods in Kirigakure.
Name: Tenga and Sishi Quantity: 2 Rank: D Appearance: 3 feet long each, they are light weight enough for Shu to be able to dual wield them effectively and easily. Special Abilities/Characteristics: N/A Origin: Dual handed swords that Shu uses in many of his skills. He purchased these swords from a shop outside Kirigakure.

| Background Information History:
Birth Arc Before his birth, Shu’s life was a complicated one. His mother, her maiden name was Gushiken. But there was a secret with her. She was in love with a Shu. Now she had a planned marriage from the start, but the two lovers still met. It all happened so fast, neither knew what happened. Under the tree in the night, at the Kaguya complex, his mother, Karrah, was with John, the Kaguya, and they were getting very close. Before they knew it, it was the next morning, and well you know what happened in between.
Well that one night was all it took; Karrah was pregnant and hid it from John. Breaking it off, to hide her secret, she told no one. And during her time to show, she ran off. Taking a single friend, one who was very close, ran into the forest. Now Karrah’s friend was a Senju, a wood user, and she constructed a home for them to live in during their time out there. Being a simple building, they lived there for several months while Karrah was pregnant.
Karrah’s pregnancy was very long and difficult one. After only seven months, Shu was kicking and pounding to get out. Causing severe pain and discomfort for Karrah. Luckily Rin, the Senju, was a medical ninja. Creating a drug, it was used to ease Karrah’s pain and suffering. The drugs did little though, Shu was raging and kicking violently. Karrah was strong though, she held out for the next two months.
Once the time came, Karrah delivered Shu and stayed in the hut for another month. Shu was a very cute baby, and a strong one at that. Shu was always grabbing something and yanking it constantly. It was usually Karrah or Rin’s hair. Every time they said “ow”, Shu would laugh and giggle. Although Rin and Karrah were losing their hair faster than normal, they still loved Shu, he was definitely an entertaining child.
After finally moving back to the village, Karrah was welcomed back to the Gushiken compound and was given a feast, and Shu was sort of ignored, seeing as no one knew whom the father was, Shu became an outcast kid. But Karrah never left Shu out of her sight, fearing what would happen to him. All was ok for the next few months, until the day when Karrah was to be married. Quickly calling Rin to her bridal room, she handed her Shu. “Please care for him, you’ve been a great friend and hope you can understand…” Confused on what that meant, Rin agreed and went to take her seat.
After taking her seat with the four month old Shu, Karrah looked upon them and whispered, “I love you my child…” There was a chattered going on in the waiting lobby to be where Karrah was supposed to be married. Suddenly a large explosion echoed and smoke came billowing through the bride’s room. Rin, holding Shu tightly, ran down the aisle towards the room, quickly kicking the door down, Karrah laid on the ground, clothes fried, and skin burnt, dead. Dropping to her knees, Rin began crying furiously. Shu didn’t understand what had happened, and all he said was gibberish. Tightening his little hand around Rin’s hair, he said his first word, “Mama…” Then suddenly, Rin began crying more furiously. At the time, Rin had promised Karrah to care for him, she was only 19. So was Karrah.
Early Years Arc These were some troubling times for Shu. First off, no one knew who the father was, and the Gushiken’s had no Kekkei Genkai, meaning the father’s would take over if he had any. Karrah had never mentioned anything to anyone to hint to who the father was. But despite that, Shu moved into the Senju compound with Rin. Having no clue about his background, Rin just let him be and grow up.
Growing up, Shu looked a lot like his mother, but that’s only because that’s all they had to compare him to. In fact he looked a lot like his father too, but no one knows what he looks like, and by this time, his father had died. Although much was unclear about Shu, he was only two at that time and could speak quite fluently. He seemed very interested in weapons also, he would always be caught going into Rin’s weapon pouches trying to play with them. Every time Rin scolded him softly Shu would just laugh and run off.
Pre-Academy Arc By the time Shu was seven, he was begging Rin to let him enter the Academy, and by then he was calling her Aunt Rin, he doesn’t know why, but that’s always been the case since he was little. He would constantly harass her, day and night. Shu’s eighth birthday was coming up and Rin was getting sick of the constant babysitting. So she would do that ‘If you can…’ crap and trick Shu into something he couldn’t do. One example would be to get out of one of Rin’s boxes of wood she creates. Shu would struggle in there for hours until he caved and gave up.
Soon enough Shu’s eighth birthday rolled around, and Rin was laughing as she played with him and held his gift way above his head, not allowing him to reach it. Getting frustrated, Shu tightened his fist and opened it again and bone protruded and lunged at Rin, leaving a thin cut on her wrist. Raising an eye, Rin let it slide as sharp nails.
Without even noticing what he had done, Shu dove for his gift and caught it before it hit the ground. Doing what any 8-year-old boy would do, Shu tore the paper off like it was the end of the world. Breathing heavily like a crazy person, Shu “ooo’ed” his gift. Rin had bought him a set of fighting gloves to practice with in the training area of the compound. Hugging Rin immediately, he was shouting ‘Thank you’ like crazy, but he was cut short as Rin held up a hand and explained the rules. Frowning immediately, Shu crossed his arms upset and waited. His rules were that he couldn’t use them without supervision by her at all times.
Frowning, he then stopped his poutiness, he grabbed Rin’s arm and pulled her out the door towards the training grounds. He was going to have fun with these today, no matter what. Dragging Rin out the door, he rushed her to the training grounds, wanting to practice with them. Laughing, Rin pretended to faint and be tired as Shu struggled to push her in the dirt. Shu, not happy, pushed harder, shouting at her to stop it. Rin just laughed and enjoyed it as she got a nice push.
Arriving at the training grounds, already tired, Shu pulled out the gloves and tightened them around his hands. Going up against Rin, he was skilled in Taijutsu and went into a fun spar with her. Joking around Rin pretended to be hit sometimes. But only missing my millimeters, a bone shot from his palm almost impaling Rin.
Finding His True Self Moments after his miracle, Shu was shipped off to the Kaguya compound where he was tested to his limits. Reflexes, endurance, stress, all the aliments to activate the true powers of the Kaguya. The elders of the clan knew it wasn't possible this young but it would show signs and it definitely did. Shu dodged several kunai shurikens and responded almost instantaneously to some of the tests.
After many weeks of intense trials, Shu was finally accepted into the Kaguya compound as one. But no one would accept him personally because no one knew who his father was. But being adopted by elderly couple, Shu was welcomed in with open arms without fault of his parental heritage. There Shu lived for many years.
Academy Years Entering the Academy at the age of ten, Shu was in the Top of his class. He received outstanding marks, mastered the basic jutsu, and was one of the best looking guys in the class. Shu spent a little less than a year in the academy. When it came time for graduation however, Shu had issues when it came to tests. Forgetting everything he had learned and mastered, Shu failed the academy, disappointing his clan and dishonoring them all. This upset Shu because he would have to wait six months for the next session to begin, so during that time Shu studied and trained hard to improve his body.
As the second session rolled around, Shu flew through all the work and began getting bored. His teachers saw this and noticed that he was doing exceptionally well and graduated months ahead of everyone else, but this time instead of dishonor, Shu brought honor back to the Kaguya clan.
Role-Play Sample: Breathing deeply a thin cut was traced around the side of Shu’s forehead as his left arm hung limp. Bruised and banged up, he scanned the field for his enemy that was lurking in the nearby bush, although he was failing miserably at locating him. Sweeping the high grassland area, it was quite possible to move silently and without being spotted. Remaining still, he didn’t make a sound except that he was in the middle of plain in plain sight. Straining for any hint, his luck came when he heard a soft rustling sound and a shadow flicker. With a slight grin, the corners of his mouth twitched upwards as he quickly popped his shoulder into place and endured the painful shot that went down his spine, he flexed his fingers and felt every bone in his hand pop and crack and then mend again. The rush of his bones being manipulated teased him to release them. Returning his gaze to the shadow, a short six inch blade slid out of his elbow and Shu, in a fluid motion, snapped it off and flung the dagger towards the shadow.
Watching the shadow react to how he wanted, another twitch aggravated his cheekbones as the opponent slithered towards him. Not going to be caught off guard, Shu clenched his fist and cocked it back and lunged forward going for a head on collision. But before that could happen, Shu tensed up quickly, allowing four bones to shoot out of his forearm and trap his fist in a cage except for that the bones formed a blunted sharp point and digging their way into the side of the enemy. Watching as the boy’s eyes widen in shock, Shu retracted his bones and watched as the blood from his newly created wounds soak his clothes. Then loosening up his hand and rubbing his forearm he watched as the boy withered, and wanting to end his misery, Shu flicked his wrist allowing a short blade to emerge from just below his palm. Examining the white bone, he then diverted his attention to the boy as he followed by stabbing downwards into his neck, killing him instantly. “Rest in peace,” he muttered as he stood up again and let his opponent's blood drip from the tip of his bones. Wiping the blade against the side of his pants, he picked up his sword harness and flung it over his shoulder and snapped it into place. Retracting the blade he sighed and walked away making his way back to the village to complete his mission.

| Jutsu: Name: Bunshin no Jutsu - Clone Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.
Name: Henge no Jutsu - Transformation Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: Henge no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents
Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu - Change of Body Stance Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack.
Name: Suimen Hokou no Waza - Act of Water Surface Walking Rank: E Type: N/A Element: N/A Description: A variation on the Kinobori no Waza (Act of Tree Climbing), the art of water surface walking allows a ninja to walk on water as if it was a solid surface. Focusing an even amount of chakra out of the soles of their feet, they can balance themselves on the very surface of the water
Name: Kinobori no Waza - Act of Tree Climbing Rank: E Type: N/A Element: N/A Description: Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed
Name: Explosion Tag: Activate Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: The user will activate an explosion tag. Normally, the tag will be placed by them, so they know where it is and can easily activate it.
Name: Nawanuke no Jutsu - Escaping Skill Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: A very basic technique that allows a ninja to escape from rope binds.
Name: Kai - Release Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the effect of the spell.
Name: Shunshin no Jutsu - Body Flicker Technique Rank: D Element: N/A Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. The ninja will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.
Name: Drilling Finger Bullets Type: Taijutsu Rank: C Element: - Description: The user fires his fingertip bones at an opponent like bullets. Since they have regenerative bones, the rate of fire from his arsenal can become limitless. These bullets are unable to penetrate more dense materials though they can severely dent it and nearly pass through due to sheer impact. The skin the bullets tear through to fire is also healed by the end of the technique.
Name: Dance of Camellia Type: Taijutsu/Kenjutsu Rank: C Element: - Description: This jutsu requires both the taijutsu specialty and weaponry specialty where Sword is either the main or sub weapon. The user performs this jutsu by modifying the humerus (upper arm bone) of either their right or left arm to create a short, hilt-less bone sword. Since they can increase and compress the density of their bones, they can make the sword harder than steel. they then use the sword to fight; the style uses quick cuts and thrusts to disable opponents quickly.
Name: Dance of the Willow Type: Taijutsu Rank: C Element: - Description: To use this dance, the user grows long straight bones from select places in the body. It is limited to the palms of the hands, the shoulders, the knees, and the elbows. Not all the places have to be used in this jutsu, but it takes an additional C rank amount of chakra per place after the first three places. This dance form is incredibly acrobatic, using spins, charges, and long sweeping slashes to make the strikes more effective and to evade opponents' counter strikes. They can also extend the bones without moving their body, but each extension also costs another C rank amount. Each bone is initially protruding a foot out from the body.
Name: Palm Twister Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Element: Wind Description: Hold his hand with his fingers scrunched up, the user gathers wind chakra in his hand in a slow swirl that encases it. Then when the user releases the chakra upon impact of the opponent, it unleashes a spiraling punch that sends the opponent either flying off their feet if they’re caught off guard or just stumbling back depending on their stance.
Name: Fire Dance Rank: C Type: Taijutsu Element: Fire Description: Igniting his feet on fire, they cause no harm while kicking but when he does it just provides an extra fright. But what it does do is that the user can jump around in a circle releasing flamable material he has on him, smoke powder, oil, or anything he has on him and once he completes a circle of any shape or size, the user forms the Tiger seal and the circle ignites, trapping the two in the fire rings, causing for some problems.

| - Dragon's Tooth: Regarding this sword I would highly doubt one of the greatest blacksmiths would make this for a genin? explain how this in anyway could come about. Also, chakra channeling through a weapon is B-Ranked plus. So, I would class you manipulating your bones through the sword part of this.
- Fire Dance: I would say regarding katon as an element there are any sub-elements. Edit this to say you release an ignitable substance thus it would not hurt to kick but when activated would be able to create katon rings etc.
Other than that everything looks good. |
