| While it was true that it was raining and dark outside; Inside Kumogakure's hospital it was white and bright, particularly from the florescent lighting. One would think that with such strong lighting Miku would be able to do her medical job more efficiently, but truth be told, sometimes it almost seemed as if it only got in the way. The young woman let out a small tired sigh; something foreign compared to her usual happy-go-lucky personality. "I don't want stitches! I really don't! Please, Sensei!" cried an injured kunoichi from her hospital room. She was about 5'1; merely a few inches shorter than Miku herself; black short hair, dirty and roughed up ninja-like attire, and bleeding from her arm and leg. "Noriki, you have to have them. Now please, stop yelling." responded her sensei; a tall, young, distressed looking Jounin. "It'll hurt!" she retorted. "It'll hurt more if you don't allow the medical ninja to do what she needs to do." he spoke calmly, albeit a bit forced sounding.
It was almost silly how well you could hear the conversation through the door. A moment of silence fell and Miku took this as her opportunity to enter the room. The injured kunoichi and sensei watched her arrival with mutual distaste for the situation. "Hello, Noriki. How are you doing?" Miku began whilst donning her hands with the standard medical gloves. "Well, not all that great as you can see!" she stated with irritation. "Noriki!" her sensei intervened; giving his student a hard stern look one would expect from a responsible adult. Miku came over and began to carefully and gently wipe the girl's blood. "I can assure you, as soon as these wounds are stitched up, you'll feel much better." the medical ninja spoke soothingly and rather sure of herself. The injured kunoichi appeared to find the slightest comfort in her words until Miku's hand reappeared with a syringe. It caused quite the erratic change on the injured kunoichi's face.
"Oh god, it's going to hurt! Not the needle! I hate shots!" Noriki ranted on once again. "Calm down, Noriki! This will only take a few seconds!" her sensei ordered. She huffed dramatically and glared at him. "This will numb the area so the stitching process isn't as painful, sweetie." crooned Miku; a motherly smile spread across her face. Before much more warning, the needle found itself piercing the girl's skin surrounding her wound, injecting it's numbing medication. A yelp was let out by her before a pained grumble. "And now we begin to stitching! What color thread would you like? Blue, purple, or black?"
Noriki looked back at Miku as if she were mentally challenged. She turned to her sensei as if to subtly question the sanity of Miku, only to receive a shrug. This somehow went unnoticed by Miku. "I'll... I'll just take blue, I guess." the injured kunoichi finally replied. "Lovely!" and with that, Miku quickly prepared her needle and thread. The sewing then began, but not before a few dramatic cries from the girl. What should have been only a few stitches seemed like a hundred stitches by time the medical ninja was done with the injured kunoichi. Just like before the little 'operation', an eerie tired sigh was released from Miku. She disposed of her medical gloves and syringe, along with the needle; storing the thread back to it's original placement. The florescent lighting was really starting to find it's way to agitate the young woman. As much as she loved being the medical ninja she was; a 'hero'; someone as energetic as her needed a break here and there. Yelling, screaming, crying, and groaning wasn't the most appeasing thing to ring through someone's ears, you know?
It was time for a break. Miku looked forward to leaving the hospital and perhaps getting a nice cup of tea. Maybe she would even be able to grab a good bite before feeling the need to go back to hospital or something of the sort. Her black low-heeled sandals click-clacked through the hallways of the hospital. You could hear it almost a mile away should one listen for it. Her vibrant hair swayed back and forth, almost aggressively as she picked up her pace; becoming more eager to leave the premise of the area. Did she mention she was kinda getting tired of the stench known as strong medication and perhaps blood? "Freedom, here I come." she spoke to herself, opening the hospital doors a little roughly. Just as the words left her mouth and one foot stepped out the door; the noise of increasing pitter-patting rain and low growls of the wind flooded her ears. "I guess... I'll wait until it clears up just a bit?" she continued to speak to herself. With optimism that could rival a child on Christmas morning; Miku stepped back, waiting for the rain to simmer down.

| Doctor, Doctor.
A shinobi visits the hospital as a routine thing usually after each rigorous mission, but today was the first scare for Koden. For the last week, he had been out on a recon mission with two Chuunin, they were to find a Genin who had been kidnapped by a small organization who managed to abduct the boy while he was on a vacation with his civilian family. The wanted a ransom, but Kumogakure tried to avoid negotiating with criminals as much as they could. Koden requested that he could partake in this mission as soon as he found out about it. He and his two comrades found the suspected criminals on the borders of Bear and Fire Country. It took the trio a few days to travel there much to Koden’s disapproval as he was keen to continually move but as a teamster he had to succumb to his comrades limits and find shelter and rest for the cold nights. A storm was coming to the northern section of the shinobi world and Koden could only hope they would find the boy and get home before it hit. The night they decided to strike and search for the boy, they managed to successfully assassinate a few of the members without much hassle before finally having to make their presence known in the form of entering the house where they suspected the boy was being held. Their suspicions were correct and Koden and his comrades managed to get the boy, but it was then when the leader of this anonymous criminal organization struck, carrying a large blade with him he swung furiously, yet skilfully at the three shinobi as one of Koden’s comrades grabbed the boy and took him to safety, Koden and his second squad mate were to hold the man off, but not without trouble. The man mistakenly cut open the sleeve of Koden’s jacket, revealing the Aburame’s arm. Koden removed the glove on his right arm as he swarmed the Nano-Bugs to that location as he engaged in offensive attacks toward the intimidating man; Koden’s teammate also went on the offensive but got struck down as the blade carved into his calve, limiting his ability to walk in the meantime. Koden knew he would have to do something drastic if he was to escape this battle alive, so he leapt at his opponent as he swung his sword. The blade connected into Koden’s right shoulder, but Koden’s forearm smashed into the man’s neck at the same time, sending him flying back to the wooden floorboards. Koden stood up with his deep cut bleeding on the floor underneath him, he picked up his teammate, slinging him over his left shoulder as he left the man to die via his poisonous Nano-Bugs while Koden met up with his other teammate and the Genin boy. The three shinobi made it back to Kumogakure before the storm but Koden and his teammate were to check into the hospital and get healed up. Koden wasn’t easy to heal however as contact could not be made. It took a Medical Puppeteer to use his puppets to stitch up the wound to stop the wound from bleeding any more than it already had.
A few days passed as Koden was finally allowed to leave the hospital. He walked down the hall as he reached the room of his mission comrade, he was sleeping; but he was okay. The mission was a success, Koden smiled to himself as he continued his journey down the hall. He wore a regular black pair of pants and a jacket that sat over his shoulders, his arms being free of its sleeves and his bare chest peeking out of the front of it. Koden however had a large white medical sheet strapped over his shoulder and right pectoral. Koden uses his left arm to push the hospital doors open as he walked outside, the entrance was covered from the downfall of rain. Koden moved to a table that had chairs built underneath it, Koden hoped up on the table placing his bottom on it as his feet fell onto the bench. Koden looked out at the dark and gloomy Kumogakure, it was stormy; yet peaceful. Koden removed his sunglasses and placed them in the chest pocket of his jacket, revealing his frosty blue eyes as they gently scanned the area. It was empty, he was by himself and at this time he enjoyed the bliss. As he heard stepped approaching the entrance of the hospital, the rain died down as the footsteps got closer but Koden continued to look out at the village. The footsteps were coming from inside the building the doors swung open with a decently loud thud as a figure emerged from the exit, Koden refused to turn his head but used his peripherals to catch a glance at the person, it was a young kunoichi, she looked the same age as Koden. She spoke to herself positively about the rain. Koden didn’t pay much attention to it though, he observed her out of the corner of his eyes for a moment longer. She almost brightened the entire sky, she just had a warm feeling about her. Koden had the urge to engage in a conversation with her, surely it wouldn’t hurt, he turned his head for toward her glancing into her beautifully green eyes. ”It’s calming down, you shouldn’t have to wait to long.” Koden said extending a smile to his Kumogakure comrade.

| Miku knew she heard something. It was raining and winds were blowing, but what she heard was not them. It was a voice belonging to a male. Yes, that's what it was, but a voice was a voice. Why would this voice be any different? For a second there, she didn't even consider the possibility that the voice was talking to her. A momentary silence fell between the two Kumogakure Shinobi. The young woman pursed her lips the minute she actually computed that being spoken to at the minute was possible and that she was not alone. She hoped she didn't make him feel awkward with the accidental silence. "Oh! Hi there!" her voice pipped up, waving her hand at the stranger. "Sorry for the quietness just then. I was just off in my own little," she tapped the side of her head, "world." with a silly grin plastered upon her face. A silly grin on Miku's face? No? Really? Of course, a silly grin stretched across her face. It there wasn't one, then something was probably wrong.
Her emerald orbs inspected the individual for details. He wore black pants with a jacket resting over his shoulders. His chest barely popped up from it's hiding place; his shoulder and right pectoral covered with the traditional white medical sheet. He bared pitch black hair with frosty blue eyes; young looking and probably around her age. If she had to guess, she would most likely conclude that he had just left the Hospital just a little bit ago. Without wanting to appear as if she were staring him down and perhaps planning on dissecting him as if she were some psycho-wacko doctor; Miku stepped just a tad closer the him and began to introduce herself. "I'm Miku Tetsumi." she placed a hand on her chest; clearly indicating she was speaking of herself. One would think she had made it clear enough with how she had stated it, but things were always a little quirky when it came to the kunoichi.
Without leaving much room for input from the young man, she continued on with her introduction. "Jounin for Kumogakure no Sato. I'm a medical kunoichi, too. I was just leaving the Hospital, but was you can see the weather hasn't been all that kind," the woman brought up her hands as if to catch rain drops descending from the sky, "and has been raining a good bit. Although, this weather is always kinda good to nap in," she wagged a hand in a playful way as if she were speaking of something naughty or perverted, "oho ho ho ho! A cup of tea would actually sound grrreat right now; so tiring that Hospital can be," she rather dramatically rolled her eyes towards the entrance of the great white medical facility, "Aha! I'm really starting to babble away as if I'm like some giddy school girl with her tongue tied! Please, tell me about yourself. You probably just came out of the Hospital, yeah? I really don't have anything better to do. At least, until my break is over and it's stopped raining." she crooned whilst planting herself onto the bench seating; not minding if the stranger's feet were beside her.
As anyone could gather, Miku was very expressive and seemingly spewed words out like a waterfall. Had she even given a minute to catch her breath? How she was capable of such long dialog was beyond most. She elevated her elbow onto the table top and propped her chin into her palm; awaiting further conversation from the young man. The rain continued to fall albeit, not as hard nor loud. Winds still blew by, but with less power and a more down-played roar. Hey, what did ya know? The stranger was right! It wouldn't be too long before it ceased. At least, Miku hoped so, anyways.

A silence lingered between the two shinobi briefly as only the sound of the rain hitting the ground and the roof above them could be heard. The striking female finally acknowledged Koden’s words, turning her head his way as she looked at him from a distance, her voice automatically sending out a warming vibe to the Arthropod Enthusiast as he continued to use his cheek muscles in a rare way; using them to smile politely at the short and bubbly girl who stood before him. She spoke again shortly after apologizing for her trance-like states moments ago she was just in her own little ‘world’. Koden assumed that the girl was implying that she was just thinking to herself for a moment before recognizing that she was being spoken to. The Aburame Jounin watched as her eyes briefly observed and assessed him, he wouldn’t let her know he was paying attention to it, he was just as guilty; doing so from a distance before she had noticed that he was in her presence and he had a feeling he was going to get an opportunity to do so at a closer distance. That circumstance found Koden moments later as she approached him and the table, introducing herself. Her name penetrated his conscious state of mind as he made sure he would remember it; Miku Tetsumi. She continued after a short break, a break that wasn’t even long enough for Koden to exchange his name with her as of yet. She began to elaborate on who exactly she was, so the Aburame Jounin listened carefully as she informed him that she was a Jounin and a medic.
Although Koden continued to soak in her words, paying attention to each one of them, he managed to quickly think to himself at the same time. ’A Jounin? She looks the same age as me, if not younger and she’s already a Jounin, and a medic. Her chakra control could almost be as good as mine if she’s able to perform the medical Ninjutsu required to be a member of the medical staff here at the hospital. I wonder if her Jounin abilities are up to par though. I could probably beat her.’ Koden’s thoughts seemed arrogant, but he was merely making an observation, for both of them to be Jounin at such a young age was extremely impressive.
Miku asked Koden to speak about himself briefly, she seemed to question whether or not he had also just exited the hospital but Koden knew that she was aware of his injury, she had already observed him and he saw her notice his bandaged chest and shoulder. ”Miku, it’s a pleasure to me you. I’m Koden-“ Koden paused for a minute as Miku lifted her elbow to the table top, resting her chin in her palm to politely suggest to Koden that he had her full attention. ”Koden Aburame.” he completed as he gave her yet another smile. ”I’m a Jounin here in Kumogakure, and yes it is true I’ve just been released from the hospital. I injured myself on a mission in order to successfully complete it.” Koden rested his forearms on his down his quadriceps and intertwined his fingers that were securely warm in his glove skin tight gloves. ”How long is your break, Miku?” Koden questioned as he continued before she could give an answer. ”Because I might have to take you for one of those cups of tea you are so desperately craving.” Koden suggested, awaiting Miku’s response as he pleaded within himself that she would accept his offer.

| "Aha, a pleasure to meet you as well, Koden Aburame!" the bubbly kunoichi replied to his introduction with her overall cheerful attitude; giving a small nod of the head, too. 'Isn't that one of those renown clans? The bug one, I think? Bugs...' she wondered as she remained quiet for his sake. She had already done so much talking, anyways. Images of beetles and caterpillars, worms and flies, all sorts of various bugs filled into her head. Her fingers drummed over her chin as she thought of the insects. While some were cute, some were just plain creepy or gross. Then again, being a shinobi wasn't about being something pretty to look at. She temporary unplugged the images projecting into her head and went back to listening to the young man in front of her. 'Oo! Another young Jounin. How interesting. Must be rather talented, then.' she mused once more. Although Miku had already knew he had just exited the Hospital with bandages and all, she had asked anyways and came out correct. She mentally grinned as wide as a Cherise Cat with her little victory, despite how completely insignificant and microscopically small it was.
"Injure yourself? For the mission? My, my. It's a good thing you didn't injury yourself too bad. I bet you received some sort of praise. A lecture too, but some praises, I'm sure. Happy to hear you came out in success, though." she spoke openly aloud while continuing to drum her fingers over her chin. "I, myself, love being praised. You could say I strive for it. Because I have to be the hero, you know." she trailed off before waving a hand as if it was actually old news or something so obvious that it was basic logic everyone knew. Ah, yes. Everyone that knew her or at least of her, knew that she aspired to be a 'hero'. It was really quite cliche and one would expect it to be something only a child would pursue. Who was she kidding, though? The way she acted was still very much child like. It was then that rather unexpectedly, at least to Miku, she was questioned the duration of her break by her fellow Kumogakure Jounin. She parted her lips once more to speak, though found herself unable to as Koden went to add on. Now didn't that habit just ring a few bells? She looked at him, somewhat surprised though thoroughly joyful.
"Well, I've got about an hour for my break, so if you're not busy and actually insist," she clasped her hands together and perked up some, pleased with the young man's suggestion. "I must say I would like someone's company during tea time; most lovely time of the day! Especially after spending so much time around rather tiring, high maintenance, unwilling--" she cut herself short having realized she was beginning to rant on about the rather picky patients she was given, specially injured Genin. She cleared her throat and smiled. "Ahem. Anyways, yes, I very much like your suggestion, Koden. It would appear you were correct, as well!" she pointed a finger towards the now mere sprinkles descending from the grey murky clouds in the sky. "The rain has lightened up. Shall we escort ourselves to a tea house, now?" she proposed; placing hands onto the table's top and standing up from her seat. It was times like this that made her relish all the bustling people from the Hospital, because you were never too sure who you would meet. To socialize and mingle was an ability that came all so natural for the kunoichi. To be able to use it, like now, was really quite pleasing.
{OOC: Sorry for such the long wait! Shouldn't happen again though, now.} |

| Koden struggled to get his two cents in when the young kunoichi exploded with another severe mouthful of words, something Koden could only describe as verbal diarrhoea. The young girl really liked to flap her luscious lips. Koden felt so at peace while Miku frantically ranting on and on. He smiled and nodded while she spoke, letting every word sink deep into his mind making sure he could process each one of them before she would blurt out the next one almost right after the last. Koden could have sworn for a minute her face was turning purple, she wouldn’t even stop to take a breath. Usually Koden would prefer a quiet environment, because it would be so peaceful; but there was something about this kunoichi that got to Koden. It was most likely the attitude he could all see radiating off of her beautiful glowing lightly tanned skin. Koden watched her body language. He had trouble interpreting would emotion was displayed with it, the fact that she brought her had up between them to her face almost made Koden think she was guarding herself from him, but the tone of her voice and the way her face’s emotion was displayed said the complete opposite. Miku was certainly an interesting character.
The Kumogakure Aburame soon came to realize that it had been a while since he had actually spoken back to her, he didn’t want her to think he wasn’t interested in the conversation that was taking place, if you could call Miku talking and Koden listening a conversation. But he was always a man of very few words anyway, he preferred to listen than to do the talking himself, which seemed to fit well with Miku’s ability to talk uncontrollably. Koden hear d that his new friend had only an hour before her shift started again, at that point Koden began to reach to his shoulders, grasping his jacket that still sat over his well-defined body and bring his left arm through the left sleeve, feeling the fluffy warm interior of his coat rub against his bare skin as heat immediately warmed his cold body. He hesitantly went to put his right arm through the right sleeve before feeling a tearing pain in his pectoral, he tried to mask it but he definitely had pulled a face that represented pain for a moment there. He guessed that it was expected so he continued to put his arm through until the jacket was properly on.
Reaching down into his right hand pocket on the jacket, he pulled out a pair of black gloves and slide them onto his hands, it became instinct to do so due to him not being able to really touch anybody with his hands without killing them and he did not know what could happen, Miku seemed like the type of girl to act impulsively, grabbing his hand or smacking it playfully; any contact should be avoided to ensure that she’d be safety, what kind of first impression would Koden be making if he infected her with poisonous Nano beetles.
“An hour, well we better get a move on, there’s a close tea house that I go to quiet often just a three streets down that way.” Koden said as he stood up from the table-top onto the seating below before stepping off that as his feet hit the ground. He then proceeded to point left, behind Miku to her left as she stood from the table. He walked to the very edge of the sheltered area, peering out from underneath it looking out to the sky, seeing the clouds still hosting a dark shade of grey. He turned to the kunoichi once more as he spoke again, seeing that she had progressed from their sitting spot and was almost standing next to him. “It looks like it may start rain again soon though but we should have plenty of time, so I’m ready when you are, Miku.” Koden said, as his mouth formed a warm smile; something they didn’t do often. Before he had finished speaking, Miku had reached where Koden was standing, she was right next to him almost waiting for him to walk before she would too. So going of this assumption, Koden took the first step out from the sheltered area, placing his hands in his jacket pockets as his shoes stood into the light puddle, which was one of many that swamped the streets of Kumogakure. Koden carelessly swung one foot in front of the other while it continued to spit lightly, it was barely enough to even be considering an annoyance to the two Jounin as they began to walk through the vacant area that separated the Hospital from the streets of Kumogakure. Koden turned his head to the left, which was where Miku was and spoke to her once more; merely looking to stir her so she would once more respond with a prolonged answer to kill the time of walking to their destination. “So how’s your shift been today? You didn’t have too many patients, did you?” Koden asked, expecting her to debrief him on what the entire contents of her day was. The unusual thing about this though, was Koden didn’t mind. |

| Aidan was exploring the Village yet again, he was jumping up and down onto different houses and buildings. ' Well I've lived here all my fifteen years and I still haven't learned the whole villages blueprint. I find it pretty sad but ehh you know a growing village has to change every once in a while. '' The rain was light but it was still raining. Aidan loved this kind of weather, the speckles of hydrogen and oxygen mixed together into one essential element feels so good on his skin. Aidan has a rather complex mind and likes to think logically thus he names water by its ingredients. Aidan stopped for a second and looked up. The sky was grey and the rain drizzled down on his face. Aidan's white spiky hair was wet but it stayed spiked in the air, his hair is hard as stone once it gets wet. Its like the water hits it and denses it up. Aidan looked down to the streets of Kumogakure and saw two older looking figures walking and talking to each other, one male and one female. Frankly Aidan was quite bored so he would mingle with them.
Aidan leaped down onto the streets and walked to the too older humans. They looked about five to six years older then him. ' Hey I'm Aidan Kasui! From the Kasui clan and I am a Genin. So I'm guessing you two are Jonin right? ' Aidan said formally introducing himself but at the same time questioning the two. Aidan looked over to the female. She looked about five foot, thus Aidan was way taller then her. She had beautiful light tanned skin and appeared to be in good health. She had lovely emerald colored eyes with a orangish-pinkish-reddish hair color. Overall she was a lovely young lady and if Aidan was older Aidan would have tried to date her but Aidan hasn't even had his first kiss but wish it would happen. Aidan looked over to the male figure. He looked about six feet but Aidan was just a little bit taller, he was probably five foot nine or ten while Aidan is six foot one. Aidan didn't feel like looking at the guys eyes so he avoided any eye contact, the male had hair covering most of his head. Aidan was wondering where they were headed.
Aidan shivered as the rain went pouring down his shirt. Aidan normally wouldn't have shivered but it went down his shirt. ' I suggest we hurry up and get where we are going. Sorry if I am barging on anything personal... '' Aidan said as he thought that the male would be blind not to see how beautiful she is.

| It hadn't gone unnoticed; that being the pained expression the Aburame had bared as he had put his jacket on. However, the kunoichi had remained closed lip about it, or rather, she had been too busy in the middle of a sentence to question his well being. Miku had simply continued on. It wasn't that she was selfish or didn't care; she did, but stopping herself in the midst of a conversation was just incredibly hard for her. The medical ninja did make a mental note of the young man's current weakness, though. He properly adjusted the jacket, none the less. The young woman continued to watch as if he was a test subject; curious to know more. He continued to dress his hands with a pair of black gloves. She pursed her lips slightly in mild interest, not that it was actually all that interesting. Miku was just like that.
It was then he finally spoke, or rather, she allowed enough room for him to speak. "Oh, goodie." she replied short and sweet as he pointed left; now both Kumogakure shinobi standing away from the table. The kunoichi then went to mimic Koden, approaching the edge of the sheltered area to also peer up at the grey skies. Momentarily silence emitted from her. The Aburame had began speaking once more as she inched closer and closer to join his side; already reaching a spot beside him before he finished his sentence. Miku peered above her and at the evidence of a storm. So long as they weren't completely soaked, it was just fine with her. She looked over and smiled warmly though a tad bit larger than her fellow Kumogakure shinobi; adding a small nod of her head, too. "Okay, ready then, Koden." she went on quickly after he finished speaking. The young man was the first to take a step out from underneath the covering; stepping into a light puddle while he was at it. Overall, he actually appeared rather relaxed. Like playing a duckling to a mother duck, Miku followed what Koden had done and stepped out into the uncovered open. She trailed somewhat behind him before emerging on his left. They walked in sync; feet hitting the ground and puddles at the same time.
The young woman rested her hands in front of her body, carelessly entwined, and her vibrant hair seemed to sway gently back and forth. It was peaceful. The so called tea house was a mere three streets down, not all that far away at all in her personal opinion. However, it still left plenty of time for either silence or conversation. Miku being the talker she was, began to formulate some idea of what to speak of. She did talk a lot, that was true, but she didn't want to stray onto random topics one by one. She at least wanted an idea of what to speak of. As if somehow the Aburame knew this, he turned to her and questioned her; starting up a conversation. "Oh, my shift was good. It's always a little bit tiring, but kinda almost tiring in a good way, ku ku ku ku." she laughed thinking of the Hospital. Really, her attention was only paid to either Koden or the direct path laid out in front of her. "No, not too many patients, either. Some are just more of a hassle than other's. You know, the cliche things like in books, movies, and cartoons? Afraid of needles, won't sit still, insisting they don't need certain treatment. You'd be surprised how many of the older patients throw such whiny fi--" she found herself cut short of speech; another voice not belonging to either the Aburame nor Tetsumi seeping into the air and into their ears. It had come out of nowhere, at least, Miku hadn't expect it. She was busy chatting. The other voice had come from another boy; white haired and taller than her.
The kunoichi blinked her emerald green eyes and was taken aback by the sudden introduction. "Well, hello there." she greeted with a small wave of her left hand. "I'm Miku Tetsumi; Jounin. We've obviously never met... Aidan Kasui." she mused aloud, followed by one of her quirky grins. Miku could tell she was being examined. The medical ninja had done the same countless times, but it usually wasn't on such 'out of nowhere' occasions or at least, not as obvious. "We," the kunoichi wagged her finger at Koden and then herself, "were going to a tea house. We were on our way, but it would appear we were stopped, ku ku ku ku." she went on, then gesturing to the boy with her usual laugh.

| The two Jounin continued to casually stroll through the streets as Miku happily answered Koden’s conversation starter. The rain endured, it was relentless, it refused to just die it would continue to spit down onto Koden’s now wet mess of black hair and the beautiful red-like strands of Miku’s. The Aburame would pay attention to Miku, entranced by each of her words. She spoke of such a negative thing, her patients verbally abusing her or hassling her for doing her job, trying to heal or help them. Some people were so unappreciative, so rude and these too attributes were two things that Koden couldn’t stand. Almost coincidently, a young shinobi approached the two Jounin on the empty streets, cutting Miku off and introducing himself in an prompt manor, as if he was somebody important. Koden clenched his fists in his pockets as Miku and Koden came to a temporary halt, the boy was standing right in their path.
Koden saw the boy approaching but he didn’t expect such rudeness, or any social interaction to that matter. Clearly the two Jounin were minding their own business when they were walking, and even more obvious to the boy was that Miku was in mid-sentence. Insolence was not something Koden would tolerate, if he was not standing next to such a cheerful young kunoichi, the boy would have been instantly scolded for his approach. But Koden began to see the bigger picture here; he turned to Miku as she spoke to this Genin, who seemed to be named Aidan. Koden would observe this situation for the time being, he remained silent as he tensed up. Miku would speak to the young shinobi who had just rudely interrupted her, introducing herself to Aidan. Koden assessed her body language; she seemed taken-back by the sudden onslaught on an introduction Aidan had approached her with. Koden swiftly focused on the boy, unbeknownst to the Genin. Koden watched Aidan inspect Miku’s figure as if she was a piece of eye-candy. Flicking his eyes back to Miku, he would notice that she too had recognized the boy doing so, yet she would still have the politeness to address the boy in such a warming nature. She was too polite for her own good.
The boy once again spoke, stating that they, including him; should get to where they were going before it started raining again. Did he seriously just invite himself to join his superiors? Who was this kid, Koden wished to know if he had received a sensei yet, because for a Jounin to teach a boy such manors like these would surely need to be reviewed? Koden was calm and steady the entire time, as the boy kept his focus on Miku, barely acknowledging that Koden was standing beside her. A part of him wanted to make an example of Aidan right now, but he wouldn’t do such a thing in front of his new companion. Miku replied to Aidan, she seemed to politely signal to the boy that he had interrupted Koden and Miku on their walk. It was at this time that Koden would possibly observe for the last time. The boy’s response would be the decision-maker, on whether Koden was to get involved or not.

| Aidan smiled, '' Hey Miku, I knew I was right! You had to be a jounin and i'm estimating your friend is too? Well I must seem a little tall so that would let you know I was a bad shinobi or something else right? I sort of dropped out for two years in the academy. Sorry if it seems that i'm being rude I just have a habit of examining people before a conversation. After that my photographic memory kicks in. '' Aidan tapped his foot and began to let out a slight whistle that could barely be heard. ' Sorry if I am you know interrupting anything semi-important. I don't know much social skills. ' Aidan rubbed the back of his head, checking to see if his short ponytail was still tucked into his sash so no one could see. He has been wanting to get rid of it. Aidan noticed how Miku laughed a lot. Aidan forgot how he had stopped the two Jounin and moved to the side beside Koden so they could continue to journey on to the Tea Shop were they were headed.
Aidan noticed how Koden was watching his every move pretty much. He must know that Aidan had inspected Miku, Aidan just hoped that Koden understood he wasn't trying to be rude. Aidan just didn't have any friends of his own that he could hang with, after dropping out of the academy at such a young age his friends surpassed him and left him in the dirt, he also did not have a sensei yet. Aidan sensed that Koden didn't want him there or anywhere around him and Miku. Aidan didn't like to be hated. He just wanted someone to waste some time with... ' Yet again I am truly sorry, I can leave if you would like me to. ' Aidan said trying to be polite as possible so the duo would let him stay for a while. |

| During the duration of the newest introduction among the group, it didn't go completely unnoticed by Miku that Koden had remained closed lip. The kunoichi had a few guesses, but otherwise didn't know what reason it could be. While she could have spent more time and effort in attempting to get a more specific answer from somewhere in her head, she simply decided to discard putting any more thought into reasons why. She stood in the middle of the path she had been walking on with her fellow Kumogakure Jounin unmoving. Miku pushed back a wet strand of her vibrant red hair off her shoulder; not minding the rain as much as she thought she would be able to. It wasn't as cold as she thought it would be either. Despite her optimism of her current situation, it was no lie she would rather be at the Tea House than prolonged in same location she was in for too long. Or at least, even on her way and progressing towards the Tea House. A small smile remained plastered upon the young woman's face.
Her hands moved to entwine themselves together, then resting just in front of herself. She had finished speaking just a mere moments ago and was now the one to be silent; the newcomer going back to speaking. Some of the things he spoke of seemed a little stray, though she listened anyways. 'Just about everyone seems quite tall these days.' she mused to herself, having struck the thought from various things the newcomer had covered. She refrained from speaking on Koden's behalf and neither confirming nor declining he too was of Jounin rank. Her emerald eyes shifted between the two, specifically more at their height, further establishing her pondering. 'Eh? Ninja Academy? Wow, that seems like so many years ago. Well, it sorta ways, but hmm... He had stated he was a Genin. What a trivial thing to bring up, though.' she once more entertained herself with thoughts stirring and brewing into her head as she tilted her head in just the slightest towards the right. "Mm." the sound effect slipped from the medical ninja during the Kumogakure Genin's short pause, just to let him know she was still there attention wise. 'I suppose coming out of nowhere and interrupting a conversation and preventing their travel is somewhat rude. He doesn't seem all that bad though. Although he does seem just a little bit awkward.' she commentated in her head as he tapped his foot; resembling some sort of fidgeting.
As if to check and approve of her thought, Aidan flat out admitted to having a lack of social skills. Miku's eyebrows rose in reaction. "Well, it's not necessarily an important event you're squeezing yourself into; we're just casually going out for a cup of tea. It is however generally frowned upon to interrupt a conversation and prevent one from travelling when they are doing such or put simple: blocking our path." she informed the newcomer politely, and in a borderline teacher like fashion. She had even rose one of her index fingers to play the part. Technically, she was a teacher, but that was beside the point. The kunoichi briefly glanced to see any visible expression upon the Aburame's face, but saw none that stood out in any particular way. "No need to apology twice; everyone makes some mistakes, just try and refrain from doing it again in the future. It would help your social skills; so you yourself say you're lacking in. Ah, but anywho; if you so wish, you may leave, but otherwise I don't think I mind your company, ku ku ku ku. Koden," she turned her head towards her companion with the same small smile, "would you mind his company? You are the one who invited me to tea, in the first place. It should only be right to include your opinion."

| The two shinobi continued to converse in front of Koden as he remained silent, before he knew it Miku was saying that this lad named Aidan could tag along if Koden found it acceptable. Deep down, he didn’t find anything this chump had done acceptable. Koden brought his arms to his pockets, his fists remained clinched as he looked away for a moment, he didn’t really want to be interrupted, he had just met Miku and was so intrigued, he wanted to know more about her not this rude brat. He didn’t feel like he could say much, he was still in the stage of first impression when it came to his fellow Jounin, Miku and he wasn’t wanting to spoil that by scolding a Genin. He made a light grunt, not anything aggressive, but it was a sign that he was actually still listening, but thinking of what his decision would be. He already knew what he wanted to happen, but it’s didn’t seem like a possible outcome to this situation. The Aburame was a master strategist but he couldn’t think of a way to sneakily dispose of this Genin, create an excuse to get rid of him or devise an amazing diversion to distract him while they escaped. He’s thoughts seemed to get much more drastic than the situation actually was, it was suspected that this is was rudeness did to him, but usually all of his thoughts would be acted on, with Miku present; as stated, it clearly made a difference to the approach he would have to take. He had the option to remain silent, but that would be returning a vibe of rudeness and two wrongs did not make a right, Koden took a deep almost depressing sigh as he turned his head. “I dunno Miku, I suppose it’s up to you.” his voice was soft and emotionless, it’s sturdy pitch lingering to the females ears as if they were slowed down in mid-air, as if the vibrations of the sounds were paused.
The words would finally reach the Jounin’s ears and most likely point her in the predicament Koden didn’t want to be in, it was time for somebody to actually answer the latter, Koden knew that giving Miku complete control of whether he joined them or not was foolish, she was too nice to deny the boy, way to polite. Koden had already learnt that in the brief time they had known each other, he was sure it was one of the many great qualities she possessed but in this certain situation; he prayed she would not act in the nature and kick the boy to the curb, as politely as she could. But why would she? She could have done the same thing to Koden, why was Koden any different? Besides the obvious fact that Aidan had stopped the two Jounin in the middle of Kumogakure’s rainy streets in the middle of a conversation and practically invited himself to join them on their journey to wherever they were heading. For all he knew, they could have been a couple heading back to their house. Koden’s brain went mushy from this thought, a couple? Wow, he truly was being drastic. Miku was reducing this sophisticated prodigy into a drooling teenager, was he really acting like this or was it a mere Genjutsu?! Not even Koden could answer that question.

| Miku’s attention was dead set on the man standing just right next to her, both Aidan and she patiently awaiting for his answer. He had been rather quiet since the newcomer had arrived; actually, had not said a single thing. Although he did appear the type to usually not speak in large quantities- which was may have just been her because Kami only knew she spoke enough for more than one life time- he did seem just the slightest off at least compared to when she had first spoken to him and they had agreed on going out for some tea. A small grunt emitted from Koden; not aggressive but more like he had listened and was mulling over his options. She looked away momentarily in an attempt to refrain from practically burning a hole through him with her anticipated stare down. Her fellow Kumogakure Jounin was taking a bit to decide and she began to wonder why. It was true the awkward Genin had been a bit unsuspecting and somewhat rude, but she had been one to look past it quickly.
After all, it was just in her nature. However, it suddenly dawned on her, had the Aburame not done the same? She understood why, but just wasn’t exactly sure of how to think of it. Miku immediately whipped her emerald eyes back over at Koden at the sound of his sigh. It sounded heavy and the young woman was beginning to find that he probably did, in fact, not want Aidan to accompany them. Perhaps it had been the way the Genin had approached them? Maybe he didn’t like younger individuals and found them to be pests? A few more possibilities bounced around in her head, but she was thinking the former of the options was mostly likely the correct one. If that was the case, then why on earth would he leave it up for her to decide? Her eyebrows rose in the slightest. This as beginning to feel just a tad awkward even for the easily sociable kunoichi. “Oh, well then...” she started up, not wanting to stand in the less than favorable weather condition any longer. What was the young woman to say? The decision was all on her. Miku pursed her lips and looked at both males. Suddenly after just a few seconds of more silence; the ever returning smile graced the kunoichi’s lips.
“Actually, now that I’ve come to think about it.. Perhaps it would actually be best if you,” she gave a little gesture to the Kumogakure Genin, “didn’t join us.” she stated as kindly as she could before speaking once more. “See, Koden and I just came from the Hospital- As a medical ninja, I’ll be questioning a few things in regards to his current state of health; his mission, too.” which Miku actually intended on doing or at least attempt. “So, you could say this is almost a bit business related. I can’t promise we would actually be all that entertaining and I wouldn’t want to drag you into something maybe boring or too personal. Come by the Hospital tomorrow and we’ll go out and do something more fun or even training, alright?” she finished, hoping the boy would see her point. “Oh... Yeah, okay, that sounds cool!” Aidan replied while scratching the back of his head. Miku perked up; “Great, then! We’ll be on our way. You should get out of the rain, too. You’ll catch a cold.” she wagged a finger before gently nudging Koden to begin walking along with her towards the direction of the tea house like they originally had been doing. |

| Much to Koden’s surprise but at the same time much to his delight, Miku skilfully disposed of the Genin without being rude or direct most likely how Koden would have been if he was forced to handle the situation. It was clearly something he had tried to avoid so he didn’t have to be the asshole of this situation and he managed to avoid it successfully, allowing Miku to take care of it, which she did perfectly. As she continued to address the latter politely she offered an alternative of training to send the boy on his way which allowed the two Jounin to continue their trip to the tea house. The Aburame felt his fists begin to unclench and the Genin backed down before he felt a slight nudge by the kunoichi. He began turning the opposite direction as he smiled while his facial expression was out of the viewing point of both Aidan and Miku before reaching the ninety degree turn and progressing to the tea house, which they shortly reached.
Approaching the doors, Koden moved up the four wooden steps before his companion as he grasped the brass handle, pulling the door out and standing next to it like a gentlemen holding the door open for Miku, smiling at her warmly as they entered the beautiful tea house, the strong revitalizing aroma surely enticing both Miku and Koden’s noses, somebody with little control might have found themselves dribbling all over the soft cushiony floor. The table set up was very low, which meant the customers were to sit cross legged on the soft floor while enjoying their warm beverages. Traditional art was scattered all throughout the large open area, from the paintings that engulfed the wooden walls or the sculptures that hugged them. Scented candles burned slowly in the middle of the tables which fused with the various herbal aromas to make one mixed perfect fragrance unique to this tea house and only this tea house, as they entered there was a sign that requested them to slip their shoes off, Koden led by example and slid off his shinobi sandals, placing them in one of the many vacant spots on the shoe rack. Looking over to the area, the tea house didn’t have many occupants today, just half a dozen who were spread out throughout the room and remained quiet due to being alone, with only two people as an exception to appeared to be a couple who were engaging each other in conversation. This place was a place to come and quietly relax with some herbal luxuries, but it wasn’t required to be silent therefore it was completely acceptable for Miku and Koden to come and banter about whatever silly topics they wished.
Moving into the main area, Koden gestured a welcoming nod towards a waitress behind the counter as she gestured back, Miku following Koden moved to a spot close to the fireplace, which was surprisingly vacant. Sitting at a small table so the two didn’t feel metres a part, Koden would gesture for Miku to sit down for, continuing to be gentlemanly to his associate as she sat on the left, moving to the right, closest to the fire he sat down embracing the warmth of the fire and the comfort of the mats as his bottom was placed on it, crossing his legs they were shortly joined by the waitress who greeted them politely and asked if they were ready to be serviced. “Yes, may I please have one green tea to start, and four Chadango for myself and my friend.” Koden said smiling over to Miku as he waited for her to tell the waitress what kind of tea or beverage she too would like. After Miku informed the hostess, Koden leant forward, folding his arms and placing them on the table feeling a slight pain in his pectoral once more, which was ironic since he was just about to bring it up in conversation. “So Miku, purely business you say?” the Jounin teased as he winked at the kunoichi. “I’m sure you would appreciate me to remove my clothes so you can correctly examine your patient, if that’s what I am.” he continued to use playful tones in his words, but there was truth behind them, he was interested to know where he sat with the kunoichi so far. |
