Well I've been wanting to do this for a little while now but have constricted myself in handling other issues and directing my attention to other areas of the site, but I've finally got around to this. The point of this thread is for me to make Announcements that doesn't exactly need its own announcement but should be announced none the less. We used to have a sticky for this called Updates but was cleared at one point which caused me to lose the inspiration to keep it going, this way I can introduce you guys to new changes and maybe go into detail with them a little bit without announcing everything with its own topic. I will be leaving this thread open for people to post in, but keep it clean. By posting here you give me the right to delete that post at any given time whether I dub it unnecessary or problematic. Though I would suggest if you have questions or concerns about anything posted in here, you take it up via Personal Message or via the Forum Assistance board.

Staff Changes: Some of you may notice certain changes in the staff as of late and will hopefully continue to see it. A lot of word has been spread around about the staffs efficiency and how it needs to be improved and action is being taken, moderators have been evaluated and people will be removed and replaced by fresh faces. As you already would have noticed Suijin has become the newest addition to the staff lounge, filling the place of the recently demoted/retired Jace. We also finally nutted up and filled Hugh's admin position with Becky, somebody not all of you are familiar with but will get to know with time and realize how much of an asset she is to our team. Please note this is just the start as I said more changes will happen and you will be informed about them in this thread.

Clan Limits: Something that has recently been talked about is the attraction certain clans bring and should be risen to a larger capacity of slots, whereas other clans should be limited too. So as of today, the Uchiha and Hyuuga clans have been upped to six spots, but the Haretsu, Kaguya and Uzumaki clans have also been limited to the very same number, six.

Face Claims: Face Claims are being revived to a proper extent again and hopefully will be kept cleaner. Everybody needs to reclaim their faces in the Claim A Face topic located in the Forum Assistance board but this is a part of a bigger picture, anybody who hasn't posted in this thread is to be considered inactive and this may not only result in the loss of your character image, but your rank and colour completely. So consider this an activity check, be sure to post your Face Claims.

Another Staff Change: Mino is the second moderator to be relieved of his position following the reassessments of the moderation team. Josh has been a valuable asset to not only the staff team but the site since its very early days of Ultimate Shinobi and we will be forever in his gratitude for his contributions on the site. However both parties have come to terms with the fact that he can no longer able maintain his position and therefore is retiring from moderation. On a lighter note, the removal of one leads to the promotion of another and we congratulate Tailbone who has been on Ultimate Shinobi since its first or second week and has stuck by us for a very long time and is very deserving of the opportunity to moderate. A lot of you probably don't know who he is or much about him because he doesn't linger in the chatbox like much, but trust me he's around. Wink

YET ANOTHER STAFF CHANGE: Hopefully this will be the last considerable staff change for some time but who knows. None the less Awesomesauce. aka Aries aka Mr Sinister is the final moderator to part ways with the staff lounge. Of course much like the two previous cases this means we have an vacant position which now belongs to Outcast. Although Aries was a Creation Moderator, Outcast will be slotted into a Roleplaying Moderator position taking Tricksters spot who has been shifted into Creation. We hope these few staff changes over the week show sufficient changes to the functionality and efficiency displayed on the forum, or else more changes may be made.

Doujutsu Transplants Guide: As I'm sure many of you have noticed, the staff or should I say Suijin has developed a guide to ensure there is little confusion when it comes to the concept of Doujutsu Transplants. This can be found HERE! However a select few members have addressed some concerns with the new guidelines and feel as if they are incredibly restricting. I'm sure nobody will deny the fact that the guide itself was beautifully written and sounds fantastic on paper but when incorporating it into the in character environment it is quite limiting. We are willing to make additional changes if valid points are made and the staff agrees with them as a majority sure feel free to give your input whether its just saying you were happy with the system or its you expressing some concerns, whatever the circumstance your constructive critism is welcome, just remember to be respectful. Suicide and Death: The rules, guidelines, paragraph of information. Whatever you want to call it has been updated and divided into two in fact: Deaths is one and Suicide and Planned Deaths is another. Be sure to look over them, they can be found HERE!

Staff Sidebar: Has been updated, how you see it now is exactly how the staff is, feel free to have a glance at the new additions.

Fire Country Locations: To be added soon, keep your eyes out. Will feature such locations as Forest of Death and Fire Temple.

Special Characteristics: New SC's have been created and implemented by me, and you guys are free to check them out. They are Advanced Chakra Control, Sixth Sense, Animal Speaking, Demonic Essence, Yin Release, Summoning Related Jutsu, and Accustomed Transplant.

Professions: Profession Jutsu and Missions have been completed by me and are now posted up. Many of them have been reduced to a C-rank requirement which allows many of you Genin to partake in them.

Mission Board and Evaluation Section: The Mission Board is back once again and is a lot cleaner than my Lounge lol. Be sure to go there to create missions and get your topics evaluated.

This is now complete, all the fire country locations have been added. If anybody has any ideas to add please feel free to bring it up in Forum Assistance. Very Happy
