Appearance: Shinji is of above average height, about 5’11 and is a little thinner than average, something that shows in his weight of 145 pounds. Unlike many people in his clan, his hair is black, not blue, a trait he inherited from his mother who had black hair as well. He keeps his hair long and tied back, some might call it a ponytail, but he doesn’t, simply saying that ponytails are for girls. His skin is somewhat pale from living in Iwagakure where the village is shielded from much of the Sun, but on the bright side, it is flawless, not a pimple or scar to be seen. His eyes are a dark brown, almost black and show a bright, deep intellect within them. His eyebrows are thin and slant downwards slightly.
Shinji wears a customary Iwagakure flak jacket as opposed to the preferred clothing of his clan, its just something he prefers. His flak jacket has been modified, and he has made a few improvements. The main one being that he has removed the single pocket in front and replaced them with tw large pockets on the sides, closer to the back than the front. This provides more carrying space for his various scrolls and weapons. He also wears one of the rarer double sleeved black shirts under his flak jacket. His Iwagakure headband is very recognizable as it is a bright red instead of black or blue.
Personality:
Shinji is an intelligent young man who shows vast promise and talent in the ninja arts. He enjoys discovering new things about the world, and seeks to find out what governs the world. He isn't religious, and believes that the world is governed by certain unbreakable laws, and that if he can discover them all he can truly know the world for what it is. He believes that everyone can change and that fate is not set. He is very trusting, but if you break his trust its hard to gain it back.
He loves the ladies, but doesn't go out and ask anyone to date him or go out for a meal or anything really, but he does hang around them as often as he hangs around with his guy friends. Little does he know it, but there are quite a few girls interested in him, but he is oblivious to it.
Shinji is incredibly well studied, and knows nearly everything about shinobi techniques, the shinobi world, and many things about the world. In battle he is an incredible tactician and fighter, seeking out the enemies weaknesses and exploiting them. Because of his unique Kekkei Genkai he is relied upon to surprise the opponent with jutsu they haven't seen. He is protective of his comrades, and will assist them in battle, but if his life would definitely be forfeit he usually tries to find a different way out.

History:
- The Crystal Reborn:
Discovery of a Gift
Shinji was born in the middle of the Summer, which really isn’t important if you think about it, but is nice to know if one wants to purchase him a birthday present. What really was important was that he was born with a rare ability, one that was sought after by many in his clan. The Crystal release was its name. It was discovered that he had the release when his parents heard a crash from his room and discovered that he had encased his crib in blue crystal and the legs had collapsed, and behind the bars, was Shinji laughing and clapping to himself gleefully. His parents had their work cut out for them, there was no avoiding the fact that Shinji would get caught up in the Shinobi world at some time or antoehr so might as well start early.
Before the Academy: Growing Up in a Ninja Family
Shinji began his ninja training at an early age, five to be precise, and immediately showed a talent for it. He first learned about the various ninja tools, kunai, shuriken, wires and the such, and took to applying them in his chores daily. He used the wires that his father gave him and tied them to a kunai, then he threw wet laundry into the air and threw the kunai in hopes of catching the laundry on the wire, this didn't work the first few times and his mother wasn't happy about the clothes with holes cut in them, but eventually he got the hang of it. He was polite to everyone and well-liked by his clan and other children in the village. He tried to help out in every situation, which sometimes annoyed the people he was helping, as he made things more complicated then needs be, tossing apples in the air and throwing kunai to cut them for example.
Every thought about his future was about being a ninja. He would learn all sorts of Jutsu, he would go on missions, become known throughout all five nations, and perhaps even become Tsuchikage. But, that was all for the future, first he had to go through the academy. So the years passed and he grew to be one of the taller kids in his age group. At age eight, he had learned several Lightning and Earth Jutsus, and had also became the best at weaponry jutsus, and he didn't hesitate to train even more, though he was going to enter the academy soon, so there really wasn't a point to the training he was doing.
Finally the day came when he entered the academy; the paperwork was filled out, all the supplies were bought, and he was ready to take that crucial step to becoming a ninja. He was nine and there he was, in line with all the others he had grown up with. It seemed like a blur to him, all he remembered was waking up that morning, then he was at the end of the entrance ceremony, then he was at his seat in the classroom.
School: Well It's School.
Shinji quickly found his place at the top of the class, he exceeded at physical and mental tests, scoring in the top position every single time. He was popular with everyone. He wasn't really the ladies’ man, he saw them as friends and was sort of oblivious about their feelings for him. He hung out with everyone, the cool kids, the oddballs, the fighters, he fit in everywhere. The classes he disliked because of how slowly they moved along and that they were just repeating things that he had taught himself before the academy, and lectures were boring in and of themselves.
Never-the-less he did well. He always did his homework, he never got in any trouble, basically he was the model student. He easily mastered the academy jutsus, and sometimes showed his closest friends his fireball jutsu and crystal release jutsu after school. His parents were proud of him, his teachers fawned over him, and his friends wanted to be him, but he didn't let it go to his head; he was just doing his best and that was all, there was no reason to boast about what one is supposed to do.
The one time that Shinji ever felt nervous was at the worst possible time, the graduation exam. He passed alright, but not before throwing up beforehand out of anxiety. His final exam was the classic Bunshin jutsu and Shinji passed with flying colors, at the ripe young age of eleven. He successfully created four clones and received full marks, earning his headband and title as a genin. One of his final weapons was also given to him at this time, Jidanda. He was given it as a gift from his uncle who created many of the weapons for Iwagakure, for graduating the academy at such a young age. At first Shinji was a miffed that it was so big he could hardly use it, but then he discovered that if he used explosive tags he could move it without much effort at all.
Life as a Genin
In the four years since he graduated from the academy Shinji has grown substantially, learning more of his Cyrstal Release, Doton Release and Lightning Release jutsu. He has been on seventeen D-Rank missions (Which isn't saying much it was mostly just helping out around the village.), seven C-Rank missions and three B rank missions. He has developed his fighting mindset and has gained a knack for figuring out the fighting style of his opponent, then creating a strategy to defeat them, this in particular has made him a valuable asset to any team he is on.

A slight grin appeared on Kurodas’ face when Kokoro gave him a little poke, it was playful poke, innocent, and pleasurable to feel. He looked around at the various buildings, the thing about Suna was that the buildings were easily identifiable. There was the dango shop, the general store, the supply depot, and many other buildings which they passed as they walked towards their destination. His heart was slowing down now and his nose had dried up and sealed which was a little more comfortable than holding it so the nosebleed wouldn’t show.
He heard the men around them giving off wolf whistles and gritted his teeth, if they knew that it was Kokoro that they were whistling at, well they wouldn’t dare. And if they knew who he was, they wouldn’t dare to do such things either, of course, they didn’t know who he nor who Kokoro was, such was the price of inconspicuousness. He saw that they were nearing the restaurant that he had in mind, Mitsuki Sushi. It was the one restaurant where Kuroda really knew the workers there, they were kind, quick, and always were good at giving him privacy when he wanted it.
“You like sushi, don’t you Kokoro-chan?” asked Kuroda pointing at the large sign on the building. He had told them owner that he would be brining someone special to eat with that evening, so hopefully the table was already set up and there was a waiter on standby ready to take their order when they were situated. He looked around to make sure that they weren't being tailed, it was a possibility, someone might have recognized Kokoro even without her Kage attire on, and after he had made sure that no one was watching them too closely, or that there was anyone too near, he pushed through the divide in the curtained that formed the outline of the door.
Upon entering they were greeted by Rina Matsumoto, the girl that often was standing at the door to show customers to their seats, but Kuroda gave her a little wave and she nodded in understanding; he would be the only one showing Kokoro to their booth. Fortunately the shop wasn’t crowded yet, it was right before the dinner crowd came in, and he could see that everyone was preparing, the waiters were picking up new pads of paper and new pens from the counter, the chefs were sharpening their cutlery and brining in fresh ingredients for their work, bus boys were washing dishes and emptying waste bins in the dumpster out back, and even the owner, Takashi Matsumoto, Rinas’ grandfather, was waiting for them near a door which led to the few private rooms the restaurant had, one of which Kuroda had on permanent reserve, which meant that no one could use it but for him, and his guests of course. Kuroda lead the both of them to the door and smiled at Takashi, “Everything is ready?” he asked.
“Of course Momiji-sama, all that you requested.” said Takashi bowing slightly. He was a man of average height, he had dark hair, but it was slowly turning grey, a sign of his age, it was cut in a clean, noble style, which was traditional in his family. He was clean shaven, with a small patch of stubble on his chin. He had thin glasses, as his eyes weren’t what they used to be, and when he opened the door and walked ahead of Kokoro and Kuroda he had a limp when he stepped with his left leg, evidence of some ancient battle injury. He stopped at the last door in the hall and opened it bowing Kuroda and Kokoro in, and once they had entered, he shut the door quietly and thus, cut off the room from the rest of the world.
The room itself was large, nearly nine meters long and five meters wide, which made it the largest room in the shop aside from the public area. It was lit dimly by four lights in the ceiling, but the light was brighter by the table because of twelve candles sitting on the table, each a different color and giving off a different scent. A small waterfall trickled quietly in the corner of the room, giving a nice ambience to the mood. The table itself was rather small, though Kuroda had asked for it that way, as he usually only ate by himself, the table was made for two, so Kokoro would still be comfortable even with the small size, it was a solid block of wood, except for two indentations to allow for ample leg room, and in the center of it, a sheet of glass revealed that the center was hollow and filled with water and exotic fish. Everything about the room added to its beauty, from the red, wooden walls, to the pots of bamboo growing opposite the waterfall.
Two booklets lay in front of each of the two seats, the menus that were placed by Kurodas request, the staff knew him well enough to know how he liked different types of sushi, but because this was the first time he had brought Kokoro here, the menu was something that was needed. The unique thing about these menus was that they contained different dishes than the ones offered in the main room, these dishes were more expensive, but were in larger quantities and made with rarer ingredients than the regular dishes. Kuroda could afford it though, he had inherited a large amount of the Momiji fortune when his father passed into the void, he used some of it to take care of his mother, who still lived in Sunagakure, but most of it was stored deep underground in a secret place that he had been told of by his father, a place where the money of the Momiji Clan had been kept since they first lived in Sunagakure, and the amount there was enough for one to live in comfort for nearly twenty lifetimes.
He grinned at Kokoro widely, the room had cost nearly every Ryo that he had earned from his first S-rank mission, but it was well worth it for this night alone. He released her hand and walked to the table, pulling out a chair for her and motioning for her to take her seat. In only a short time their waiter would be coming in to take their order, and Kuroda wanted Kokoro to be able to get just what she wanted. Indeed the main specialty of the restaurant was sushi, but they also made very good, handmade ramen, and many other dishes as well.

| Experianced Genin is a closed Rank. Only Genin is permitted.
Shoton is a mixture of both raiton and doton chakra types, which you should have. |

| - Genin have a starting limit of 15 jutsu, from then on they have to be trained.
- Your summons have to be independently approved in the creature section first, so I suggest having it after your character app unless your willing to wait a little longer.
Other then that you should be good to go. |

Special Abilities: Kiba no Ooshigoto (Dragons Fang) is a large staff with a katana sword blade at both ends. It can conduct Shinjis Raiton Chakra to increase its cutting capabilities. It is possible for the staff to separate in to two Katanas connected by a long chain. Shinji can wield the staff with one or with both hands. That ability is denied, chakra conducting weapons are considered B+Ranked Weapons. I suggest just cutting that bit out.

Special Abilities: Shakudo no Ooshigoto (Dragons Scale) is a large shield which contains multiple flaps that can open and fire smaller weapons, such as Senbon or Shuriken. Given that it has fireing contraptions as well as its shielding properties I'm gonna have to classify that as C Rank. Since you already have one, I suggest removing its fireing and making it small-medium sized. |
