| Arisium had rested after a long night's work. He was sent on a task by his master, and he had to fulfill it. A few stragglers from the village that were still in hot pursuit of him when he came from Iwa were still after him, and Arisium had to b the one to eliminate them. As if Mannox had any other choice. His other ninja were exhausted, and Arisium seemingly never got fatigued. He never wated to fail his master, and he seemingly never did. Though his master wasn't necessarily malevolent, he did not take kindly to failure.
He set up camp in a grassy field. But what he could tell, it sounded like there was a bit of noise of what his compass told him was the northwest, meaning his was southeast of Kusagakure no Sato. He liked the smell of the air here, it was all natural, unlike he jank air over in Iwa. He didn't like that place. Especially since they had tried to murder his master. No Fun. No fun at all, Iwa was. Arisium thought to himself. He took a piece of fish he caught earlier, and put it o the open fire which he just made. He then took out hi jug of water that he filled earlier at the river.
After about twenty minutes of attempting to keep warm past the sudden chill that sudden lay over the land passed, he ate his fish. It was a little charred, but then again, he wasn't the best cook around, and he definitely would never even attempt to proclaim himself as so. However much of his meal he ate in disdain, he still devoured it; for that moment his hunger knew no bounds. He then took a small catnap in the makeshift tent he assembled.
A few hours later, it was just after dusk, perhaps about 7PM, he awoke. He stretched himself out and stood. He re-attached his equipment, weapons, and whatever else he needed to cary, and set out for Kusagakure. However, before he left, a letter was on top of the firewood he had left over just in case. It read:
- Spoiler:
Meet your Master Mannox Nara in Kusagakure in the next few hours. It is 6PM now, and he is speaking with a few Kusa ninja. He awaits you in the tavern. (Where else would he be?)
"Ahh. He is in Kusa already. Hasty fellow. And of course he's made some friends . He just can't wait for anything, can he?" Arisium then chuckled. He packed the rest of his belongings and went on his way toward the magnificent, powerful and beautiful city the world knows as Kusagakure no Sato.
- About Two Hours Later -
The city walls, made of bamboo, was breathtaking. He was not one for scenery or poetry, but this sight made him want to spill his soul. He felt odd admiring it, so he shunned the Gates from his mind momentarily. He kept walking, for he knew they were a fair distance away, but they were still plain enough to see, lit up by the few lanterns they use at the gate. Now it was well past sundown, but the city was still active. He heard music, perhaps a festival going on, not too far within the city walls. I'm sure Mannox is in on that.... He thought. Though he may be a little bit too drunk or with a woman to be distracted with child's play.
A few moments later, he arrived at the Guard's Post, which was about 100 yards away from the actual walls. He was halted when he arrived, his eyes still focused dead on the walls, but he did stop. He was told he needed a Visa, for he had no Village ID, basically a fancy word for "Visitor's Pass." He was issued a warning and read his rights and responsibilities upon entering the village. However, they would have to wait for an official to arrive to grant him entrance.
However much Arisium insisted on going in, though calmly, he assure them he wasn't going to cause any mischief, regardless of whether he is a nukenin or not. They did allow him, under escort, to approach the gates. He studied their architecture, and was in awe. This must have taken years and years to build this masterpiece.... Just....Wow.... He was never so speechless in his life. He turned to the Guard who was escorting him, "Well, when's this official of yours coming?," he said in a calm tone, now abiding to their system. He couldn't wait to see the many things Kusa had to offer. |

| ((I'll be posting as a Chuunin NPC, since we're low on upper level ninja capable of this.))
Sukedo sighed as he left the administration building. It had been such a long day of paper work, and it seemed like chairnin was becoming far more appropriate than chunin as a title. But, it was part of the ranking system, you had to do your fair share of mind numbing desk work so that you had a better appreciation for the system of documentation behind Kusagakure. On his way out, he saw a note posted by Abelard, and he read it quickly. He quickly copied the contents of the letter and sighed again. This damn Abelard, so shifty, he was. Not many knew much about him, 'cept that he didn't grow up in Kusa, and was the member of some strange clan that nobody knew about. One thing was for sure, he was revered as an incredible ninja.
As Sukedo left the administration building, he was met by the cool air of the night. It had been scorching inside that building, as the air circulation was on the fritz again. Sukedo continued to make his way down the street, towards the gate, where he had been given a last minute assignment. There was a missing ninja that wanted passage into the village. That meant that a jounin, chuunin, or a genin with a special ability for interrogation had to check him out, get him to sign a document, remove him of his weapons, and then grant him access into the village. After a short while of walking, Sukedo made it to the gate, where the missing ninja was already there, waiting with an escort.
Sukedo walked up to the man, but maintained some distance. Sukedo spoke in an uninterested tone, though he was carefully sizing up the man for possible threats. "Ah, welcome to the village," He paused and took out his copy of the bingo book. He flipped through the pages, and eventually found a sketch that matched the man in front of him. "Mr Arisium Kaguya." Sukedo took a moment to stash the book away. "Alright Mr. Arisium, first thing I'm gonna need you to do is remove all of your weapons. Next, I've got a document for you to sign, read it over." He handed the man the document, which read:
This document declares upon the signature of the arrested that he/she has no ill intent towards the village of Kusagakure, the Nation of the Grass Country, or any of it's inhabitants. By signing this, you agree to interrogation, imprisonment, and surveillance, should any of these things be deemed necessary. Failure to comply with any of these terms can result in imprisonment, permanent banishment, or death, decided by the High Council of Kusagakure. Terms which cannot be violated include: The arrested may commit no act of thievery, violence, extortion, kidnapping, or anything else which is against the noble laws of Kusagakure and the Grass Country. This document provides proof of an arrest of the arrested that is fully usable as an affidavit. By signing it, you agree that you have been arrested by Chuunin Sukedo Yamanaka. Signature of the arrested: _____________________
Sukedo was ready to proceed with the interrogation, but was also equally ready to engage the man in combat, should it be necessary. |

| Arisium admired the wall for a few more moments, until a man approached him. He seemed to be about his age, and he was fairly tall. Though it was a cold night out, the man was sweating. He did not care to know why, he just wanted granted admission into the village to be re-united with his master, and to have a little fun.
The man approached him and greeted him warmly, but with slight hesitance as he kept his distance. Though there was no need for it, it was a good precaution to have, just in case. He shifted the positioning of his head from the higher portion of the wall to the mans standing in front of him. The man had a clipboard in his hand, with a document that apparently Arisium had to fill out. H did not know what to address him as, for he had not stated his name as of yet, so he just called him sir. He had to be at least somewhat polite to be granted access to the village.
He read over the document:
This document declares upon the signature of the arrested that he/she has no ill intent towards the village of Kusagakure, the Nation of the Grass Country, or any of it's inhabitants. He looked it over once, twice. He shook his head a couple times, knowing he would never commit, well, not never, any of these heinous crimes stated in the document. 'Only if I had to', he thought. He asked for a pen because one was not provided. The man handed him a pen, and Arisium signed it. His signature was only a fancy way of writing his initials, similar to this: A.R.K. The K stood for Kazihoto, which was his father's name.
He smiled at the man and handed him back his clipboard and pen. Apparently this guy was a lackey of the Kusakage. He wished to meet the man that visited the town, but he understood that he was probably very busy and had no time for a stranger, let alone someone that was not even a part of his village, to get his attention and time.
After a moment or two, after the man escorting him into the village readied his things, Arisium handed over his two blades, and his boots. He took a pair of sandals out from his backpack, and strapped them on. He half expected the man to ask why he was receiving his boots. Hehe. Great. Now hey know where I hide on of my blades. He then just chuckled slightly and said, "after you," and off they went toward the great renowned village of Kusagakure no Sato. He would once again see his master. |

| without showing any hint of recognition, Sukedo took back the pen and document, clipping them both beneath the clip on his clipboard. He tucked it under his shoulder. He then spoke again "If you'll follow me, sir." From their, Sukedo began walking into the village. He fell back in pace, allowing the other man to walk in front of him so that he could watch him as he went along. Sukedo nodded to the village guard, and Sukedo gave Arisium's weapons to him. The guard would take them for safekeeping in the Administration building where they would be inspected. After a days time, Asirium would be able to retrieve them from the administrations building. For now, it was time to conduct an investigation.
As they entered the village, Sukedo quickly adjusted pace with Asirium, so that he was by his side. he then spoke, again without emotion, though something in his voice sounded bored. "If you'll take a left here, along the gate. I'll be performing the interrogation in a small holding cell along the wall." Without saying another word, the two turned and proceeded down the length of the wall. Finally arriving at the aforementioned room, Sukedo held open the door so that the man could walk in, in front of Sukedo. "If you'll have a seat at the table please." Sukedo then took his place across from where the man would be sitting. He spoke once more "To make this interrogation easier, I'd like you to allow me to enter your mind. I'm a Yamanaka, and I have a technique that will allow me to do just that. Now, it's going to happen like this whether you refuse to or not. However, if you do refuse, I'll have to get 4-5 other trained ninja and an array of special machinery, and doesn't that sound excessive? It'll be much easier if you just allow me to without resistance. No pain will befall you, and any sensitive information such crushes, bad memories, safe combinations, etc, will not be recorded. So, what do you say, the easy way, or the hard way?" Sukedo awaited a response. |

| As he watched the Guard take his weapons upon entering the village, Arisium nodded to him and then continued on alongside the man, whose name was still unknown. He was lead to part of the village, where he was told an interrogation was going to be recorded. One thing he knew for sure: The guy was a Yamanaka, and he could read the depths of your mind, even if you weren't thinking of something, you were thinking of it.
He followed along witht he man, along the city wall, which he still often found himself admiring. He was told he was being lead to a "holding cell", which he did not like the sound of. Of course he was fine with the interrogation, because he expected something like that.
They always stereotype about nukenin, always thinking we're criminals, liars, thieves. It's not all true. The bad apples always demonize those who choose to do good. Not that I'm an Angel, I'm far from one, but I'm not criminal, either. Clearly Arisium was fed up with the common view of his way of life. It was thought of to be dangerous, risky, disgusting, and murderous. At least for him, it was nowhere close to that. If that's what people wish to think, then so be it.
The man led him to a table and told him to take a seat. He read him his rights, and what would happen should he at any point refuse the interrogation. He simply nodded in acceptance and understanding. He was ready to begin and get into the village, but if he had to do this first, he'd hold nothing back, for he had nothing to lie about in the first place.
"Easy way. No need for things to get more complicated anyway. Plus, the hard way would cause too much commotion and effort...." He paused for a moment. For them... He then continued, "Let us begin." |

| Sukedo was relieved to hear that there wouldn't be any need for him to gather more resources to perform a higher level interrogation. Sukedo rolled up both of his sleeves, and cracked his knuckles once. Then, he got up, and turned the iron deadlock on the heavy steel door, locking it in place so that nobody could open it from the outside. Should anyone interrupt, he would struggle to recover for a few moments, and it was quite dizzying and overall unpleasant when that happened. Sukedo shook the distracting thoughts from his head. Sukedo stood up, and pushed his chair back. Then, he pulled the table back as well, so that the missing ninja Sukedo was simply sitting in a chair in front of him. Sukedo walked so that he stood less than an arms length away from Asirium. Then, closing his eyes, Sukedo began a string of highly complex and arcane Handseals that were secret to the Yamanaka clan. His hands began to glow with a bright light, and he held a single handseal in his left hand, while he extended his right. He pressed the palm of his hand against Asiriums forhead, and instantly, Asirium would go limp. The light that enveloped Sukedo's hands spread to cover the point of contact with Asirium's skull. Black markings, not unlike a cursed seal or fuuinjutsu, spread down the length of Sukedo's Arm and formed a circle on Asiriums head. Then, suddenly, Sukedo opened his eyes and changed the handseal that his left hand held to something different. Sukedo's chakra shot into Asirium, channeling through his brain. All of Asirium's secrets would reveal themselves to Sukedo in a stream of information. It would be dizzying in itself, the sudden wave of knowledge, but it was perfectly handle able. The technique was much more easy to perform on a willing victim. The chakra would attract the memory cells and their contents would be imprinted upon Sukedo's chakra. Once he was in, no secret would be hidden. The chakra's ability to attract the information was like a vine on a wall. Once it was cracked, it began to burrow deeper and deeper without thought. No matter what kind of resistance Asirium put up, all the information would be revealed.
Asirium flinched inwardly as he saw the hate of a newborn child for his parents. He saw a loving mother and father, who didnt know what they had created. The boy had a desire to hurt his parents, but both his stature and his emotions held him back. Such strange thoughts for a newborn...
The scene changed to the next noticeable memory. The Boy spent his days training with his father to become a powerful shinobi. He was talented in the shinobi arts, yes, but also held considerable skill in music and basic martial arts. The boys initial malevolence seemed to falter a little into a somewhat concealed benevolence. He was doing sparse random acts of good, and it gave him a feeling of purpose...
The memory shifted again, this time, Sukedo was witnessing an intense training session which nearly brought the boy's death about. It was training all night...so harsh, and fierce. Something about it felt wrong. But the boy didn't resist the demands of training. He was too infatuated with the strength and speed that it gave him. Sukedo could see the beginnings of a struggle in life for the desire of power. His father then demanded of him an incredible feat comprised of running, fightning and swimming..but the clarity of the memory revealed that it was an event that would hold significant importance...
A flash as the stream of information shifted. Asirium and his father were going through the incredible feat of the marathon, the swimming, and the rest. It was all incredibly taxing on Arisium, but it was his father who was old.. On a particularly narrow path, Sukedo watched as the memory slowed in speed, and Asirium's father plummeted down 7,000 feet to his death. And yet, there was little in the way of grief at the boy's father's death. It was there for a moment, but the boy had gotten over it with resentment.
Again, a shift in the scene. The boy had become the target of rumors and slander. It was he who was suspected of killing his father. His mother wouldn't stand up for him. Asirium changed his appearance, staying out of the light of day to avoid the guards. But one day, he would have a stroke of misfortune as the guards waited for him at his home. It was a blur of actions, fighting, Asiriums mother now dead.
The memory blurred, and refocused on children being experimented on. Asirium had one chance to escape, it it was with another boy, named Mannox. The two did so successfully, and they were left as Nukenin, without homes. From there, Asirium served Mannox as a body guard. It was strange, the interaction. Eventually, they split ways. And that was how Asirium ended up here, trailing after his master.
A bright flash of light occurred as Sukedo was brought back to the present. He was incredibly sweat and slightly dizzy. He shook it off. He spoke then, almost out of breath by what he had seen. "I can see you have no intentions of hurting this village." He pulled a card out of his pocket. "Here's your temporary visa. Exchange it for a 2 week visa tomorrow at the administration office. After those 2 weeks, you can leave, apply for an extension, or apply for a permanent residence. You can pick up your weapons tomorrow at the administrations building as well." Sukedo walked over and unlocked the door. He stepped out into the cool night air, relief on his face. Without another word, he disappeared into the night, ready to go home, shower and sleep after such a night.
