Finally at Kusa.

Hana smiled and ordered the ham for him while and then also ordered some barebeque pork and chicken. She also got them some mashed potatoes as well as a small salad each. Then s he got them some drinks as well. She ordered a fruity strawberry bananaish drink for herself and let Mannox order what he wanted.

They sat in an uncomforable silence for a bit. Mannox looked like he was choking on his tongue to spit something out. He must have wanted to say something. She waited patiently until he finally did spill. She listened growing more and more angry at every word. By the end of it she almost wanted to go kill them all herself and become a nukenin from the crime. But it was almost.

She shook her head and flipped her hair angrily. Like that of a wild, blonde horse. She growled in the back of her throat. "How... could people be so heartless? Using human beings... from their own COUNTRY no less." She almost felt like crying, like he did earlier. She almost did but held it back. No wonder he was crying. This was something hugely painful.

Hana held his hand from across the table. "I can't believe you survived. You're very strong Mannox," she said softly. Their food came then and Hana began to eat quietly. She looked over at Mannox occasionally hoping that he enjoyed the food. She then excused herself. "I gotta use the bathroom. Be right back," she said.

She then walked away but talked to the waitress when out of sight. She handed the waitress their bill a bit early and gave her instructions to tell them both later that the food was "on the house".

Mannox asked for a water. When everything came he looked to the waitress and said, "Thank you." He began eating the food and loved the taste of it all. He ate it as quickly as they served it. He looked to Hana, "I'm not sure. I wasn't expecting it to happen either. I was out playing with my friends after graduating the Academy, and I went home. My mother was dead, and they took me from my home. They ran so many tests... they probably stole us kids from there because they wouldn't have to travel far to get 'lab rats'. That or they figured they could create super soldiers to fight for Iwagakure. Who knows." He smiled a bit and looked to her, "Only reason I'm still alive is because of my strength." He nodded as she ran off to the bathroom. When the waitress approached and told him the meal was on the house. He tossed his few coins on the table. "There's your tip. Tell the girl I was with that I'll be outside." He walked out and waited against the building. He felt that the free meal was quite generous, but he wasn't sure that it was ordinary. He was sure Hana had something to do with it, but he figured he'd ask her when she came out. If she denied it, then he'd ignore it.

Hana headed out of the bathroom after washing her hands. She then spotted her empty table. She panicked for a moment. Did someone come take him again? Did Renji come back to fight him? Or was it more personal? Did he not like her and decided she wasn't worth the time? Or had he been planning on ditching her long before. She felt her heart literally hurt for a moment.

"Um excuse me miss?" Hana turned towards the waittress that had waited on their table. "Your boyfriend said he was waiting outside for you." Hana felt a rushing wave of relief. So he hadn't gotten hurt OR ditched her. Though she wondered why he had left.

"Oh ah, we're not dating," Hana informed the woman. Though she felt her gut churn at the look that crossed the woman's face.

"Oh really? Maybe I should give him my number and address then. Sorry hun, let's let the big girls have fun, kay?" the waitress told her with a wink.

Hana felt a flash of jealousy and anger. So what if she was older than Hana? Not all guys went for the older and more experienced girls. Hana had the sudden animalistic urge to bite her and pull her hair out. Though she resisted. She was civil after all. No Hana knew how to play this game. "Yet, he's not my boyfriend yet."

The other girl glared slightly through a smirk. "Oh but he's spending the night with me."

Hana gasped slightly. What a whore! The two exited the building and they caught sight of Mannox at the same time. Hana smirked and turned to the waitress she then began to speak loud enough for Mannox to hear. "He won't be staying with you because he's coming to stay the night at my house. Is that okay with you Manny-dear?" she asked him turning and smiling.

Mannox stood up straight instead of leaning against the building. He eyed the busty older waitress with her long brown hair and her brilliant blue eyes. She wants me to stay the night with her? Does she know I'm a nukenin? Then he proceeded to look at Hana. She wants me to stay the night? But she told me earlier to stay in a hotel. And then agreed to let me stay in a tree. He smiled at Hana. "If that's what you wish." He was excited that Hana wanted him to sleep at her house. He didn't even care if it was on her floor, as long as he was close to her.

He walked over and smiled at Hana and the waitress. He leaned over to Hana and whispered, "What was that all about?" He asked her. He then looked to the waitress, "You wanted me to stay with you? Are you aware of my status here in Kusagakure?" He asked her. He was always proper with the names of cities and his speech. He didn't feel comfortable calling Kusagakure Kusa, or calling Iwagakure Iwa. He didn't understand why anyone would do that. He eyed the waitress up and down again awaiting her answer. She was beautiful! She was shorter than mannox with long brown hair in a ponytail, and her long black and white dress on, which he presumed was for work, and her black shoes on. She was slim, but quite busty and had brilliant eye catching blue eyes.

Then he looked to Hana and thought to himself, I'm glad she asked me to stay whether through jealousy or whatever. She's much prettier than that waitress. He admired Hana's long blond hair and her slim yet also busty figure. He tried to contain his male excitement being around so many beautiful women, especially being outdoors for so long and having no human contact, however it proved to be difficult. He bowed to the waitress and smiled. "It was a pleasure dining in your beautiful facility. Give my compliments to the chef!" He grabbed Hana's hand and began to walk off. "You have to lead the way. I have no clue where I'm going."

Hana smirked at the waitress as if to say, "I won bitch." She then whispered back to Mannox, "I'll be honest. I didn't completely trust you at first but I trust you enough to let you sleep at my apartment. I didn't want you to sleep in a tree..."

Hana grinned as the waitress was basically brushed off. Oh but Hana wasn't finished yet. She stopped Mannox from moving any more and laid a deep kiss on his lips. She pulled away about ten seconds later and turned to smirk at the waitress again. Said woman made a jealous gagging sound and walked back inside. Knowing she won Hana turned back to Mannox.

"She was going to invite you to her house for sex. I got pissed and decided it would be best if you stayed with me anyway. You have no weapons. You can sleep on my couch. And sorry for using you but I wanted to rub it in her slutty face," she told him still slightly angry at the whole situation.

She then took his hand again and led him to the side of town where her apartment was. It only took five minutes of comfortable silence with the walking. The night was still a bit young but they were both full and she was happy. She wasn't sure about Mannox but he seemed happy enough.

She pulled him inside and shut the door. There she pointed to the small couch in front of a television. "Sorry it isn't much. But this is all I can afford on a genin salary. If you need to shower it's back there," she said pointing to another room. She began turning on the lights. There was only one room in this apartment. She didn't mind though. She enjoyed it though. She kept it pretty clean. Except for the occasional shirt or bra here and there. And socks were spread out.

"Make yourself at home," she told him. Getting a glass of water for herself.

Mannox looked to her as she smirked at the waitress. He wondered what it was all about but shrugged it off. As he was walking away Hana pulled him back and deeply kissed him. He was shocked, but extremely happy. He was sure she could feel him smile in the middle of it.

They walked to her house and she pulled him inside. She pointed out the couch and he looked at it. "Where will you sleep?" He asked. Though he didn't have his weapons, he didn't want to leave her side. He felt unsafe without his weapons and wanted to be able to protect her in case anyone tried to break in and take her, in order to harm him.

He walked into the back room and examined the shower. He got himself undressed and then looked around. I don't remember how to use one of these. I haven't actually taken a shower in one of these since the academy. The facility would just dump soapy water on us once a week, and then I would bathe in rivers. "Hana? could you show me how to use this? I haven't used one since the academy. I kind of forgot...." He felt dumb having to ask how to use a shower, but he figured she would understand.

Hana looked at him with a confused look. "In my room where I always do." she pointed to a closed door close to the bathroom. "Why do you ask?" she was curious. Was he asking if he could sleep with her? She had only kissed him so far. She wasn't ready for anything else. Sure she wasn't a virgin and she had had one night stands before but still. She wasn't ready.

Hana blinked at his question. Did he want shower sex? Her heart was beating quickly. "Ah, w-what do you need to use?" She blushed bright red as she noticed he was naked. "AH! Sorry I didn't realize!" She then quickly gave him a towel and didn't look at him as she waited for him to put it on. Instead she watched as he was eyeing the shower with confusion. "You haven't used a shower since the academy?" she asked in disbelief. She tried to look at his face instead of his very fine chest and package.

She showed him what knobs to crank and told him which ones were hot and cold. She even helped him get it set to the temperature he wanted. She giggled and then said, "I think you know how to use soap and shampoo. There's some body wash and conditioner too if you want to pamper yourself. Oh I also have body oil but it's more for women so we have soft skin. I'll let you get undressed. I'll be in bed when you're finished so I'll talk to you in the morning. Oh, also, I have some throw away razors under the sink and scizors if you need them."

She then quickly walked out and headed to her room. That was quite embarassing though he was very sexy naked. She thought about it for a minute blushing. She shut the door behind her for privacy and stripped down. She put on new panties and some pajama shorts. She sighed happily as the god forsaken bra was thrown to her floor. She hated the damned thing. She felt free without it and loved the feeling of it off. She then put a shirt on and crawled into bed.

Mannox was confused on why she was so skittish around him during that time. He wasn't aware that it was because of his nudity since he was so used to it. He hopped into the shower and began to wash himself. He shaved his face, and his area. He finished washing and got out. He stepped out of the shower and searched for something to dry himself off with. He finally found a towel and began to dry himself off.

He grabbed his clothes and turned the shower back on. He used the soap and water to wash his clothes. He walked out into the room he was staying in and looked for a heat source. He laid his clothes down on it so they would dry and he lied down.

He slept through the night quite peacefully. The couch was much more comfy than a tree was though he was unsure why he slept so peacefully. Normally he hated being confined. He woke up early in the morning, long before Hana awoke and he put his clothes on. he searched for some paper and something to write with. He found some in a drawer and began to scribble something down on the paper. The letter he wrote read:

"Dear Hana,
Thanks for letting me stay the night and for joining me for dinner. I apologize for leaving so early in the morning, but I'd like to view the city. I think I'm gonna start with the main road with all the lovely flowers on it that I noticed on the way in. A city with a road to match the beauty of one of it's own residents. I hope to see you there. Perhaps we can stop by the administration building to obtain my weapons today. I would like you to show me how to get there. Hope to see you soon.

He walked out of her house and made his way over to the main road, and began his walk.
