| Denaya awoke to the early morning sun rise. She rubbed her eyes vigorously to remove most of the sleep. She then opened her mouth really wide for a huge yawn, and stretched her arms out to their fullest extent. She removed her blanket to get out of bed, and she was wearing her favorite pink silk pajamas. It had a silk spaghetti strap tank top, with a pink silk booty shorts for the bottoms. She slipped her feet into her slippers and walked into the bathroom. She performed her daily beauty ritual of brushing her teeth, her hair, taking a shower, using the bathroom, and the natural beautification a woman goes through. She walked back to her bedroom, and proceeded to get dressed. 'Today should be cool. I'm mostly working with water and crystals. A little bit of wind. I shouldn't have to worry about overheating.' She squealed. 'That means I can wear my favorite outfit!' Which was her most frequent outfit. Her fluffy white underdress with the black rose over the left breast. With the black overdress on top of it. She would put her collar and headband on, and her clan robes. She was thinking of finding a tailor one day to sew her clan symbol on the back of her overdress, and to connect the overdress and the underdress to make one article. But that was to be done another time. She sat on her bed, and put her socks on. They pulled to her knee, and were pure white. She reached for her boots that she loved, and pulled them up to the knee. They had a little white bow at the top of the boots. She thought it was so cute.
She then walked into her kitchen and made herself breakfast. She took the two frying pans out put them on the stove. She then walked over to the fridge, and pulled out some eggs, and some bacon. She cracked the eggs into the smaller pan on the right, and let them fry. She then placed five pieces of bacon on the larger pan to the left. It made it easier to keep it fully balanced during the cooking. She put the bacon and eggs back into the fridge, and flipped the eggs. Pan was still clean and eggs didn't break so she was quick enough. She put some toast in the toaster and got a plate. She placed the plate on the counter, and walked to the fridge to take out the milk and butter. She turned the left burner off and removed the eggs from the frying pan. She slid them on her plate, and put the frying pan in the sink. She walked over and flipped the bacon. It didn't stick, and still cooked, so she was safe there, again. Then, the toast popped and she removed it from the toaster. She placed it on the counter, and went into a drawer. She pulled out a knife and a fork and placed the fork on the plate near the eggs, and began to butter the toast. Once she finished buttering the toast, she put the knife in the sink, put the butter away, and wiped off the crumbs into her hand. She walked to her trashcan and threw them away. She walked back to the stove, turned off the right burner, and placed the bacon on her plate. She put the frying pan in the sink, and walked to her table and sat down to eat.
She took a piece of toast, and picked up one of the eggs, she placed the egg on the piece of toast, and put another piece of toast on top. She then proceeded to eat her egg sandwich and prepared the other while she was still eating the first. She stood up and got a glass out of the cupboard, and got the milk out of the fridge. She poured herself a glass of milk and put it back in the fridge. She brought the glass to the table and finished her first sandwich. She drank some of her milk to wash it down, and picked up the other sandwich. She began to eat it, as she began to wipe up the crumbs off the table. She used her palm to push them into her other hand, and threw the crumbs in the trash. She picked up her plate and walked over to the sink. She put her plate in the sink and finished her sandwich. She reached over and grabbed her milk, and finished off the glass. She put it in the sink and began to wash her dishes. She cleaned the plate first, then the glass, then the knife, the fork, and then the smaller frying pan. She cleaned quickly and efficiently because she hated having to do it, especially more than once. She cleaned the large frying pan, and then dried everything and put it away. The cup went in the cabinet between the fridge and the sink on the left hand side. The cup went in the cabinet to the right of the sink. The frying pans went in a rotating cabinet shelf, and the fork and knife went in the drawer beneath the left hand cabinet. She dried her hands and put the towel back on the rack, attached to the inside of the door for the cabinet underneath the sink. Where all the cleaning items go. She grabbed her keys off the hook that was on the wall between her kitchen and her parlor. She walked towards her door, opened it and stepped outside. The sun was bright, but it wasn't too hot. She closed her door, locked it, and walked towards the training grounds.
She walked towards the training grounds and smiled at all the critters running around the open fields and up the scattered trees. The temperature seemed to increase a little but she figured that was from her excessive outfit. She knew she would cool down once she began training. She smiled as squirrels chased each other around the field in play, for they were but small ones with what appeared to be the mother squirrel sitting on a branch in the tree. Oh how much fun would it be to be a mother one day! But that was a thought for the far future. She enjoyed the life of a child, and wasn't ready to become an adult yet, but she knew that when it was her time, she would be prepared. She watched butterflies and bumblebees float around the flowers for pollination and food. She could spot a few hummingbirds around the longer stemmed flowers. She smiled with all the beauty, and even noticed a few fluttering leaves in the cool breeze that came as expected.
She arrived at the training grounds and found a good spot with a good clearing, and perhaps some water would be nice. She walked towards the pond and avoided many ninja that were training and sat near the pond. She thought about what she wanted to learn during today's lesson. 'I want to make a water vortex, that has enough power to suck someone in, and possibly drown them. I want to create a swirling black mist, that can coat an enemy, and be prone to flames. Just in case, I fight alongside a Katon user. I want to create a prison out of water, to assure that my crystal prison will be effective. I also want to create an attack, that will follow my enemies. And I'd like to use water to assist some of my other effective jutsus. I want to create a wind tunnel, that can blast away anything in vision instead of sucking it in like a wind vacuum would. I also wish to create wind, that can slash at my opponent with the might of a hundred swords, from all angles. It will knock them down and create a vacuum of sorts. Finally, I also wish to create a longer version of my crystal needles. This would suffice for today.' She rose to her feet, and prepared to walk onto the pond.
She activated her Suimen Hokou no Waza and stepped over the water. She approached the middle of the pond and stood there for a quick moment. She took a deep breath and exhaled while performing her hand signs for water and wind. She spun the water current to rise her in the air in the middle of the current but could quite spin to the outside yet. She continued her focus and rose herself higher, it got closer to the edge, but not quite there yet. She gave it a little boost in power, and shot higher in the air at the vortex reached the outside of the pond. It began ripping in small plants on the beach portion of the pond, sucking them into the middle of the pond. She stopped the flow and stood on the pond. This time she took a really deep breath and exhaled, while performing the hand signs once again. She shot to the peak she was at again, but this time immediately. It sucked in a turtle this time, that when she lowered it, rose the to surface completely in it's shell, then slowly poked it's head out and looked around. She walked over to it, apologized, and walked to the edge of the water, placed it in the sand, and walked back to the middle of the pond.
This time, she would pull the water from the pond and increase the water molecules, to make the clouds really heavy, and really dark. She moved it to the shore, and misted the rain onto the grass and plants. She heightened the hydrogen molecules as the water misted in an attempt to make it more flammable. She then asked a nearby ninja practicing Katon jutsus, and asked him to throw a fireball into her storm. He obliged and spat a fireball into the mist causing everything to light on fire. She removed her cloud, thanked the ninja, and used the pond to put it out. She then used some of her medical jutsu with the water, causing it to revive the burnt nature. She smiled softly and watched things shoot from the ground as nothing had happened.
This jutsu would require a target. She activated her Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu and a water clone appeared out of the lake. She made sure the clone would stand there, and not move. She performed the needed hand signs and pushed to water to form a barrier around the clone. It got to the clone's waist, and fell. She shook her head in disappointment and tried again. This time it rose around the clone, but fell as it neared the height of the clones neck. She shook her head violently. "Damnit!" Was supposed to be her mental reaction, but frustration caused it approach verbally. She tried one final time and gave it her all. It shot into the air, around the clone and closed at the top. She released it and tried it again. It got close to the point as before, but wasn't fully closed. She gave a little more, and it closed up. She released it and smiled as she had mastered that one.
This time, she requested the clone remain still once again. She walked further away, and attempted to create a column of water. She rose it up, but it was like a tentacle that wasn't very large. This time she rose it a little thicker all around, but still rounded. She pulled the water again, and got a box shape, but it wasn't big enough to surround someone. She pushed more focus, and more energy, and more determination into it this time, and it shot out of the water, and crushed the clone. She smiled, and reactivated her clone. This time she would do it, just to see if she had it down perfect. She focused, and breathed properly, and then forced the water up and into a pillar, and slammed it into the clone. She smiled at her work, and reactivated the clone, once again.
This time she would focus on a Fuuton technique. She closed her eyes and felt the wind blowing around her. She manipulated it into her hand like she did with other Fuuton techniques. This time she focused it to blow strong and rapid at her water clone. She pushed it towards the clone, and it just rippled him. She took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and attempted again. This time it blew him apart a little bit. But nothing major. She focused more energy into the technique took another deep breath, and pushed the wind again. This time it blew the clone apart, she reactivated it, and attempted again. She focused, and pushed. The clone was blown to nothing and she smiled. She mastered the technique.
She reactivated her clone, and found a large leaf near the shore to act as a fan. She walked to the shoreline, and grabbed the leaf. She turned around to face her clone and took a deep breath. She began waving the leaf as a fan, and tried to create a strong current from the results. It slowly began to circle the clone as it stood there and she focused harder. The wind began to pick up a little bit, and began to cut at the clone, but nothing dangerous. She took a deep breath, exhaled, and focused more to begin slicing the clone but not to the effect she wanted. She pushed herself even harder, 'Don't give up!' She said to herself and then the desired effect came. It cut the clone with the force of a hundred blades, and created the vacuum she desired. She attempted it one more time and got the desired results once again. She smiled and thought, 'I think I'll train my final jutsu, head home, eat some dinner, take a shower and go to bed. This is an exhausting day.'
This technique would be much easier to master since she was only extending it's range and slightly lowering it's power. She gave her focus into creating her normal ones, which appeared to be spear like and attached to her wrist. She focused more energy to it, and made it slightly longer. She punched her clone and it destroyed it so she walked onto the surface and over to a tree. She punched the tree with it and it broke. She shook her head and attempted to create the thing again, but longer, and a little more power. She punched the tree again, and about one quarter of it broke apart. She thought about how the average ones were created, and attempt to lengthen the crystal again. She got it to desired length, punched the tree, and the crystal tip was lodged in the tree, but broken from the rest of the crystal still attached to her wrist. She rebuilt it, and punched the tree as hard as she could. This time it ripped through the side of the tree and didn't break. She dismissed it, and recreated it on her wrist. She punched the tree once more as hard as she could, and it sliced through without breaking. She was very satisfied.
She dusted her hands off and began her walk home. This time the temperature was much cooler as the sun was setting. It looked so beautiful on the horizon with the pinks, oranges, reds, and purples covering the incoming night sky. She saw all the squirrels running into the tree to go to sleep. The butterflies were leaving the flowers, and the bees were back in their hives. Owls were beginning to come out of their holes in the trees and step out onto the branches. The racoons crawled out onto the tree branches, mice were coming out of the ground, and there came a new sense of activity that Denaya was familiar with. 'No matter the time of day, these plains are always active.' She thought to herself as she smiled. She approached her home and unlocked the door. As she walked inside she locked her door behind her, walked to the kitchen and hung her keys on the key ring.
She took out a boiling pot and a can of soup. She opened the can slowly, since she was quite warn out. She poured the can in the boiling pot and turned the burner on. She turned and pulled out a bowl, from the cabinet where the plates were, and grabbed a spoon from the drawer. She grabbed a cup out of the cabinet, and got herself a nice glass of cold water. She continually checked her soup, and when it was done, she turned the burner off, poured the soup into the bowl, put the pot in the sink, and put some water in it so it was easier to clean. She took her bowl of soup and her water to the table and sat down. She slowly sipped on her soup and her water. She thought about the hand signs she used for the jutsus earlier, so they would stay fresh in her mind. She finished her soup faster then she expected, and drank her whole glass of water. She put them in the sink, and then washed them. She started with the spoon, then the glass, then the bowl, and finally the pot. She dried them and put the spoon in the drawer, the cup in the cabinet, the bowl in the other cabinet, and the pot inside the cabinet where the frying pans went.
She walked into her bathroom and undressed her self. She turned her water on but not too hot or too cold. She climbed into her shower and bathed quickly. She shampooed and conditioned her hair, scrubbed down her body, and rinsed it all off. She shaved all of her areas that were growing hair, and rinsed those off too. She stepped out of the shower, and dried herself off. She walked to her bedroom and picked her her pajamas that were just like her pink ones, except baby blue. She climbed into bed, and covered herself up, and quickly fell asleep, dreaming about the new jutsus she learned, and how they can greatly help, in the defense of Konohagakure.
