Computer Issues

I can always get on the internet since my city has free wi-fi, but my laptop has picked up some issues. I apparently had like 928 files that were infected on my computer. All of them from Toshiba/Chrome (chrome's cache i think??). Apparently somethings that connect to the internet in the background (for Toshiba i think) are causing my antivirus to find malicious urls even if Im not browsing. Its supposed to block them, but IDK what the source of the problem is. My dad will pay to get it wiped. :pbj:

I can post from school, but not so much from home. The only available computer is my dads and someone would have to pay me to attempt posting on my iPod. It's near impossible to post that way. So I'll be requesting 2-3 days minimum before a post. Luckily I'm only in one topic. If I get my comp wiped the issue should go away. (Though I may have to downgrade from Win7

And no I didn't download porn... Whos dumb enough to do that? lol, thats why they have web-based-- Yeah you know. The real shame here is that I had to delete my 4chan folder....

Anyways I'll try to get on, but the most I can do is IM from my iPod and safari. My dad should let me on his comp for the night though.

I'll be on 360 and PS3 getting good at games since Ive lost my primary form of entertainment.

As if you're going to delete your 4chan folder! That was the worst thing about my emergency reformatting. You should download CC Cleaner. Even though an antivirus serious helps with detection and deletion of said viruses, sneaky infections can easily bypass them because they aren't 'malicious' and don't really hold a threat by themselves. The cleaner you just turn on every now and then and it does a scan and deletion of all kinds of temporary files etc. It's really helped me stay on top of infections and minor viruses.

I had to. I almost cried. Plus I had just got a whole bunch of gifs from one thread that was fricking hilarious. I think I had about 20 new gifs alone, not counting all the new pics I got. Plus, I can't let the guy who's gonna wipe it find that folder..... Hes my dad's cousin so imagine if he just clicks on it and sees everything that I have.... Yeah.

I'll download that and try to stay on top of it next time. I was being lazy about keeping it clean, and I guess its my fault. I might be back in full swing by Friday or Saturday... So this should be short. My dad is gonna get a wiped for me @ the cost of going down to vista. cheers

My uncle found my folder once, turned out he lurked too. Lollerskates! My folder is packed up on an eight gig usb. Umirin'?

if you have windows, I would suggest getting Microsoft Security Suite. It is AWESOME as a virus scan. free too! Malwarebytes is a good tool as well for anti-malware.
