| "Rescue and Capture: The Race to the Spark Nation!" Preceded by: Get Those Blueprints Followed by: The Mystery Behind It All Shinobi Dispatched: Abelard Kuroda, Hana Ryuzaki, Blaize Kaz
- Code:
-
Mission Name: Rescue and Capture Mission Rank: B Rank Mission Location: Village Boarder Mission Participants: Blaize, Hana, Abelard Primary Objective: Your comrade has been sent on a mission to capture a man who stole some very important blueprints. While hunting down this man, he was able to take out the Chuunin guards allowing him to escape the village. Your comrade had left on his own to capture the man and complete his mission. We received Intel about the Chuunin attack from your comrade and he request backup since he believes this man is going to be more to handle for one genin if he was able to drug two Chuunin guards. Your mission is to go backup your comrade and to make sure he is alright. Also your mission is to capture this man and bring him in to the village alive. Secondary Objectives: Your comrade’s status of the mission is yet to be determined. Find out if he has the blueprints or not. If he does not then you are to obtain that blueprint from the man as well.
The birds were sent out as soon as the message has been received. With each one is heading towards their destination. To who they were visiting well they were visiting by shinobi the village could spar. The rest of the village shinobi were either on a mission or was doing other things. The two shinobi the administration could get at this short of time was another genin and a Jounin. These two shinobi will or should be enough for the mission to go smoothly. There was no time to waist. The shinobi were now in the view of the messenger birds. Even though the two birds moved in separate directions their target was outside of their homes and wondering the village for their own purposes. The two birds started to circle around in the air for a few minutes as they continued to eye their target. Afterwards they started to lower themselves with their message to the shoulders of their target. Once rested they started to look at their target’s and then tilt their head as they waited for a motion of their arm to raise up so they could step on it and be lowered. Why to be lowered, to get their message off their backs of course. These were messages directly from one of the superiors of the administration building. The message was short but it was powerful. Enough to let the two shinobi know that they were indeed called for, and that they are needed for an urgent mission. The message the bird’s held was as followed;
- Code:
-
Dear _______ You are to meet with the supervisor at the administration building as soon as possible for a mission. The details in which will be explained once you arrive. There is no time to waste your comrade’s live is at stake
Once the message has been received the birds start to take flight and then start to head back in the administration building. When the shinobi start to arrive they will soon be greeted by the desk worker that resides near the entrance. When she finishes greeting the shinobi she then starts to escort the shinobi inside of the supervisor’s office. She will do that to each shinobi when they arrive. The first one to arrive will be greeted by the man and be told to sit down. He will then ask the shinobi to wait on the briefing till the second one arrives. Once the second one arrives he will great that shinobi as well and then ask to take a seat. Once the two take a seat the administrator starts to lay two scrolls, one black and one blue, on the desk. The man started to pause as he then starts to explain the mission.
“The blue scroll holds a messenger bird while the black scroll includes important information. The black scroll holds several seals. The briefing that I am going to explain to is included with the first seal of black scroll. A genin by the name of Ryuzaki Blaize has been sent on a mission to capture a man who had stolen some architect blueprints for the academy. The man was disguised as the principal of the academy and obtain said document. Blaize has been dispatched to follow the sites where the man has been located. At the end of the search he found him near the gates talking to two Chuunin guards. He offered them some drugged dumplings and made the Chuunin passed out. With that he started to chase down the man out of the village gates. He is currently now within the village/grass nation boarder still chasing him down. He paused at the two as he then started to see if they where understanding. Then something started to make noise behind them. Behind them was the window and something was looking out in the site. Then the something started to take flight and then started to fly towards the table and landed in between the scrolls looking up at the two shinobi. The something was a Gliding Lizard, Summoned by the Blaize that was sent on the mission. As the lizard was looking up at them the lizard started to bow as he then started to speak.
“You might wonder how he was able to know all of this information. Well Blaize thought that there was going to be some danger into chasing him so he summoned me to relay this information back at the administration center. He specifically asks for some backup and this is why you are here. My name is Kaz and I am Ryuzaki Blaize Summoning lizard. Also, you might be wondering why there is only two shinobi here. Well, I am making the third shinobi in your team. You might want some more information on this man that Blaize is hunting down. It seemed that he is a master of disguise. Why you ask? Well he was seen as a principal when he walked in here, and before he left he was in a business suit. The description itself may be of little use because if he left the village chances are he changed again. Also we have confirmed the location in which he was traveling. When I woke up the Chuunin guards he asks the location of the Spark nation. They were only able to help him with the direction because when they asked why he was heading towards that nation he responded with offering the sleeping dumplings. Mind you Blaize doesn’t know where he was heading; he was only caring about three things, the safety of the Chuunin, reporting the incident, and obtaining the blueprints.”
The supervisor then started to speak to finish the briefing of the mission. There is more information you have to know; hopefully this will help you like it did Blaize. While he is good as a man of disguise he does have one weakness. When he talks he always ends every other sentence with a “hek hek hek” type of sound. It is like a habit and is unable to stop it, even when he changes clothes. This should help you pinpoint who he is. You have been asked by Blaize to back him up as well as our own intentions of you getting him. Since he is traveling to another nation we have reason to believe he is only just a messenger to the real person who wants it. Keep in mind that if you do not reach him soon there may be more people to deal with. People we do not have Intel on. Your Mission is to find Blaize and get an update on his status of the mission. Make sure he is alright and find out if he has obtained the blueprints or not. Also you are to capture this man and bring him to the village. If Blaize has failed his mission to obtain the blueprints then you are to obtain the documents as well. There is one more thing, if the man has made it to the spark country then you will use the messenger bird scroll to inform us and let us know if you need reinforcements or not. The Spark nation is a half a day’s travel. You have less than half a day to capture this man please keep this in mind. Now if we have no more questions you all are dismissed. If they did not have any more questions the team was now assembled. The gliding lizard started to jump in the air and then made its way to glide to the Jounin of the group. He then started to rest on his shoulders as he then started to speak. “It seems you will be leader of this group. I will help in any way possible. I hope you do not mind I can’t run as fast as humans can and I don’t fly as much as a bird can.” A Shinobi, A Kanochi, and a Lizard now make a team to hunt down this man and to save their own comrade. The time was now ticking

| Hana had been walking peacefully towards the gates. She had wanted to go for a swim today and enjoy the nice warm day. Though as she walked a shadow appeared on her head. She felt the coolness of being out of the sun and looked up. A small bird, one of the ones that were messengers for the village was flying overhead. Flying right towards her.
Hana blinked and wondered what it was that the messenger bird was going to give her. When it landed on her shoulder she held out her arm. It walked to stand in front of her face on her arm and held out it's right foot. She took the note and read it carefully. "A mission?" she asked no one in particular.
She headed towards the administration building to see what this was about. She entered and was greeted by the secretary. She smiled at Hana and led her into the supervisors office. The secretary left her hand on Hana's arm then left to go back to work. Hana waited for the man at the desk to speak. He nodded at her to sit which she did. "We're waiting for your partner to arrive," he informed her.
They waited and finally a Jonin was allowed to enter. He had finally arrived. Hana turned to see none other than Abelard. The jonin she had met a few days ago. She blinked as he came in and then she turned back to the man at the desk. Hana gasped slightly when Blaize's name was mentioned. Well it looked like things were turning out a bit like the last time she had been with both of them. Though she did hope Blaize was okay.
A lizard suddenly flew into the room. The little lizard then began explaining the situation. Hana stored all this away in her memory. Sure that everything would be needed later in the mission. Though she was quite shocked when he said he would be the third member. Though the lizard was quite cute. She would be sure to corner it at one point and cuddle the damned thing by force if it didn't cooperate.
Right after they were dismissed Hana turned to Abelard with a smirk. "Good to see you again Abelard. Looking as dashing as ever," she said with a daring smile. "Let's hurry and help Blaize. I know the guy is pretty smart and can handle himself but some of the information bothers me..." |

| [[Note that in this topic I will be training the Tracking Ninja SC, and possibly the Infiltrator SC]]
The sky was bright as Abelard looked out his window from his chair. Inside his small rock cabin, he was shielded from the sun by the cool stones surrounding him. He had just finished the entirety of his daily chores required to keep his cabin clean and in working order. He worked at the blade of green hilted katana with a whetstone, sharpening the blade as he went. He did this for a while, and when he was satisfied with his work, he took out a small container of oil. He dipped a rag in it, and then rubbed it along the edge of his blade, cleaning it effectively. Satisfied with his work, he stood up and opened the window, stretching his arms for a moment while he took in the wonderful smelling breeze from the outside. He ducked his head out the window, opening it wider, but immediately brought it back in. He swiftly put his cowl over his head as he saw the bird. Birds weren't an uncommon thing, obviously, but this one was behaving strangely, as if it was looking for something. Quietly, Abelard made his way out the back door, and into his yard. There, he began to time his movements with the breeze and the movement of the environment around him. With little effort, he effectively disappeared from sight. He watched the bird, his face hidden by his cowl. The bird seemed to have found what it was looking for, and began flying towards Abelard's cabin. Abelard followed it with his eyes, and began moving as it landed on the post outside Abelard's house. Abelard, silent as anything, crept up behind the bird, and without disturbing the bird, removed the small bit of paper attached to it's foot. It stated simply that Abelard was needed for a mission. Ahh, just what I wanted. Abelard disappeared as soon as he finished reading the message. The bird still looked around his cabin, looking for Abelard. Then, looking down at his foot he realized he had no message. It's simple mind figured that having no message meant he had already delivered it. The bird flew away, heading back towards it's roost. Abelard, in the mean time, was already half way to the administration building. He was running intensely fast. He wove his way through the crowd of people in a blur, with nobody having time to see him. He moved with absolute fluidity. After just a few moments, he was there. He stopped immediately. There was no sweat on his face, and he was not out of breath. He approached the door to the administration building with his cowl still covering his head, casting a shadow over his face. He walked in with purpose, but not looking as eager as he was. The young genin Hana greeted him kindly, with a compliment. But Abelard, a man that needed to seem mysterious and blank, simply nodded to her before sitting down to listen what the Lizard had to say. Unlike some, Abelard was totally used to being informed by a ninja animal. He listened intently to the animal as it spoke. He absorbed all of the information, nodding when appropriate. Finally, Hana spoke again, indicating here eagerness to leave and find Blaize. Abelard spoke with little emotion, but it was far from cruel or cold either. "I agree that time is of the essence, but it's important that we don't rush. First of all, you're going to need to concentrate intensely on being stealthy on this mission. I don't expect you to move as silently as myself, but try your hardest. Also, keep your wits about you. Tracking is second nature for me, and I'm sure there will be plenty of signs to lead us towards Blaize, but if you see anything out of the ordinary that I somehow manage to miss, definitely notify me. Now, we'll need to get going as soon as we can. Kaz, can you take me to the spot where you last saw Blaize? It will be important to start there, and from there I'll be able to follow his tracks quite easily". Finally, something interesting. Shouldn't be hard to help Blaize out before he gets in too much trouble. This'll teach genin to go on C rank missions alone |

| The lizard was going to say that he already told the team where Blaize was located, but the reason for asking was different. It was for tracking purposes. It seems that the Jounin that was hired for this mission was very knowledgeable in the act of tracking and stealth. By the look and speak of the two shinobi it seems that they have met Blaize before. He did not remember anything of these two shinobi being mentioned. Then again it could be because Blaize had just met them recently or for something else. The Lizard started to nod and then gave him the directions. “The gate of the village is where he was last seen. The one near the dumpling shop, there you will be able to find the last steps he took before he left out to get the scroll. Also the Chuunin guards that where attacked are still there. I already told you their story but if you want to ask them more questions that is up to you. Personally, I would go to them and ask about the drugged food. Chances are they are still holding the unfinished portions somewhere. It could be a possibility that the Chuunin have already processed the food to the lab to get the results. Either way there may be another clue to track Blaize.”
When the team travels down to the Chuunin guard’s post the same two Chuunin would be there. They were still holding on their pieces of food wrapped within a white plastic bag. The reason that neither one of the Chuunin did not pass this along to the lab is because they were devoted to keep guard. Not to mention that their shift was about to end and they have thought it was a better to deliver the samples at the end of their shifts. The lizard started to wonder how long and how calm Blaize was in all of this. Blaize was not a person to take down so easily but this man that he had never heard of was able to take down the two Chuunin with ease. It seems to him that to Blaize and even the two Chuunin that this man may be unpredictable at the first sight. As they entered the scene the Lizard started to speak to the Jounin once again. “Your best bet is to find the tracks leading outside of the gates. He and the man was running out of the gates. It should not be too hard to find footprints that marks two different people in the same direction. I believe that is a start. As for Finding Blaize the rest of the way there must be something he left to help him. Although he did seem pretty determined so I am not sure if he ever had the chance. Damn it Blaize why did he have to go at it alone! It was no doubt that the Lizard felt sorry for this situation. He would have had better been use to help fight the man then to run and give a report. No matter how much he wanted to do that an order was an order. He just hopes that the man was not too tough for him to handle.
Back at the scene the man was already gone and Blaize was still knocked out. The scene left a sight that you knew two shinobi was here. There was kunai and shuriken on the ground. As well as burnt trees and cut up bamboo from the wind based attacks. As well as patches of mud from the excessive water style moves. There was also something else within one of the trees. There was a slash of a horizontal marking and a triangular attachment that looked like an arrow. An arrow point forward in the direction the man was facing. This marking was left earlier in the match. When Kaz has separated from Blaize and when Blaize kept on the hunt. He knew that he had to give a way to let the reinforcements know what direction he was going. Ever few meters he would stop and mark on what direction he was going. Remember he did not know where the man was going and could not know that the man was going to the spark nation because the Chuunin were out cold at the time. His only way of connecting with the allies was to make markings that would help them locate the direction he was going. Of course he had faith in Kaz to get the shinobi up but he did not know how bad of the affect the drugs did to the Chuunin. So he had to give his location up. Just in case his other plan had failed. That was in the past and this was now. He did not expect the battle would turn out on him winning and losing at the same time.

| ((To speed things up, I'm altering the posting order to Pat, Hana, Blaize))
Abelard nodded at the information given to him by Kaz. Yes, the gate is a relatively wide open area, and seeing signs of escape there should be remarkably easy.[i] Abelard paused in his thoughts [i]This brute doesn’t seem like the type capable of concealing the fact that he was travelling, either. This will hopefully be a piece of cake. After all, I’ve been training for years with tracking. Ah, I feel almost anxious, it’s been awhile since I’ve used them…Ah well. This will still be fun Abelard turned and spoke once more. “We’ll leave at once. I’ll take up the front, Hana and Kaz, follow behind me, protecting my rear in case of an attack. It’s not likely, but caution has never killed.” Abelard took a step out of the Administration office and then was off in a flash. He ignored the lizard who jumped onto his shoulder. He ran with remarkable speed and dexterity, maneuvering his way through the streets with ease. Being older then Hana, he moved a bit slower to ensure that she could keep up. Eventually, he decided that it wouldn’t be fast enough to move through the people, so he quickly switched his momentum, jumping atop a building, and gliding effortlessly as he made his way from building to building in the direction of the gate. His cloak flapped in the wind from the pure speed and fierceness in his determination to complete the mission with efficiency.
After a few moments of running, Abelard reached the gate; sure that Hana was behind him. He held up a hand, indicating to Hana to stop. He began to fall into a trance of sorts. No thoughts echoed inside his head, he had only one thought; finding the trail. It didn’t take long, but he didn’t stop once he found it. He saw the tracks almost immediately. Judging by how far apart the individual steps were, he could tell they were running at high speed. This was where Blaize had pursued the man. Looking further, he could see how their haste had broken a few small branches off of trees and bushes. Their direction was just too obvious. The path of his team was obvious. They needed to continue as fast as possible to try and find Blaize. Abelard raised a hand and urged them forward “He’s gone this way, tracks indicate so. Let’s hurry”. Again, Abelard took off at a sprint, lowering his speed slightly so that Hana could follow. They ran for several minutes, covering distance quickly. It was rhythmic the way they traveled. Abelard did not speak; instead he was analyzing possible scenarios in his head of what could’ve happened, and what they would face up ahead. He was answered after a while of fast running. He saw the signs of a battle and immediately stopped, again holding up his hand to warn the other two. I
Abelard surveyed the scene and had to suppress a laugh. Well..I don’t think it could possibly be more obvious that there was a struggle here. This man must be a complete Neanderthal to leave this much behind. Around him, he saw the muddy patches caused by the use of suiton style ninjutsu. He could see the effects of the fuuton style jutsu ripping through the trees, and the smell of smoke suggested that someone was using fire style techniques as well. It was just too terribly obvious what had happened here. He looked around. The fighting might have started out as a moving one, but eventually the combatants came to a halt and fought it out in one place. The area only expanded about 5 meters. Looking around, it took less than a second for Abelard to notice Blaize, lying on the ground, next to a tree. He walked over quickly, but saw the rise and fall of the genin’s chest before he got there. All the same, he checked the kid’s pulse, and was glad to find that it was strong. Abelard tore open Blaize’s shirt, which was wet, along with the rest of his clothing. On his chest, there was a dark purple bruise forming, as well as various other scratches covering his body. Abelard thought not to wake him up. He called over to Hana “I’ve found him. He’s breathing and has a strong pulse, but judging by the bruise on his chest and his wet clothing, along with the muddy patches, I’d say that he was hit with a water attack, hit this tree, and in the process bruised or broke a few ribs.” Lightly, Abelard pressed down on the unconscious genin’s chest tentatively. He turned away at what he felt. “Scratch that, definitely broken”. Abelard reached into his back pocket and retrieved a long roll of bandage. He took to hard branches, quickly shaved all the excess twig off of them and then moved the genin into an upright sitting position. This would hurt a bit, if you were awake. Abelard pressed one of the branches vertically against Blaize’s back. The other, he lay vertically against his chest. With a few seconds of quick work, he had tightly wound the bandage around the boy’s torso, using the branches as braces. He then leaned him up against a tree to support him. He noticed the abrasion on his face, and figured that after he had been knocked out, or at least down, he had been kicked, as there was a bit of dirt on his face as well. Abelard smiled then at two things. The first was the scroll in Blaize’s right hand. The genin had managed to complete part of his mission. The second, and definitely the more important was the bit of cloak in his other hand. Abelard stood up. “He’s definitely going to be fine” Abelard turned his attention towards the ground. He followed the tracks away from Blaize. “He even left us a little clue towards his assailant” Abelard tenderly removed the piece of cloak from Blaize’s grasp. The interesting thing about cloth, Abelard knew, was that once it was torn, it continued to disintegrate, and while it’s pieces would be almost infinitesimally small, they would not be impossible to see from someone as trained as himself. He already saw a piece or two in the trail of footprints leading away from Blaize. This tracking wouldn’t be nearly as difficult as he thought it might’ve. Abelard turned back to Blaize You’ve done well, leaving us with a solid trail to follow. Good job. Abelard almost let out a smile. But this was no time for celebration. There was still a ninja to capture, and kill if necessary. Abelard hadn’t had a good fight in a long time, he was almost looking forward to it. Abelard leaned down, and decided that it was necessary to wake Blaize up, if only to tell him that he had done a good job. “Blaize” He said “Blaize wake up, it’s Abelard. Your reinforcements are here. But you need to wake up so that the rest of us can get going to catch the man who’s done this.” |

| “Oh I’ll cover your rear allright,” Hana said with a slight and mischievious grin. Hana followed him outside though he took off quickly. She gasped and tried to keep up as best as she could. Though she was already sweating as they ran through the village and towards the gate. She kept Abelard in her sights yet every so often he would put on another burst of speed and she would have to work to keep up. Hana watched with interest as Abelard began to track. While he wasn’t looking she looked for signs as well. She did notice the footprints. She assumed they were Blaize’s and the chunin’s. Though she couldn’t be sure. She did remember that Blaize had smaller feet than her though. About a size smaller. She measured with her eyes and noticed one footprint was indeed smaller than her own. A bit proud of herself she then looked around noticing the branches from a few trees broken and hanging from a sliver. Indicating someone broke them. Again she assumed it was Blaize and the chunin. She smiled and waited for Abelard to find the finer details. As they ran Hana began wondering about how they would catch the chunin. Hana thought that perhaps she could catch him in a genjutsu. And while he was distracted by that she and Abelard could attack him. Yes, she would go in and fight with her Taijutsu while Abelard did his own thing. She was sure she wouldn’t get in the way if she used her genjutsu. It would be quite useful in this situation. They soon made it to the battlefield. Hana gasped slightly. They had to have fought hard. She was proud of Blaize. Though when Abelard found him Hana quickly ran to the boy’s side. “He’s very brave,” she whispered lightly touching Blaize’s head and stroking his hair almost sisterly. Hana helped hold Blaize up as Abelard began to bandage him up. She did what she could to help and carefully learned first aid from Abelard. Hana took the scroll out of Blaize’s hand and handed it to the lizard. Knowing that it would keep the scroll safe when it came to the fight. As Abelard told him to wake Hana gently shook him. She was careful not to touch any of his wounds or jar his ribs. She patted his head as well, silently telling him he was a good boy. Again another sisterly trait showed itself in Hana. “What are we going to do with him?” she asked Abelard. “I’m not sure if he should run with us and fight with broken ribs… though I don’t really want to leave him here or let him travel by himself either.”

| [[Sorry if its short. Hectic day.]]
Kaz watched as the Jounin and the genin did what they could to get Blaize back up. It seemed that the fight did actually take a toll on Blaize’s condition. The lizard thought and noticed that this mission was more than just a fight between Blaize and the man he was chasing. No this was a match to obtain the item while trying to make sure your opponent gives it up. Fighting on those terms would be different then a normal fight. Maybe that was a reason why it was hard for Blaize to win this fight. The examination that the man did showed that he obtained bruses from the fight and broken ribs. The genin started to help the Jounin bandage him up. It seems they did a good job. All Kaz could do was watch as they did what they could for Blaize.
Now the team was together. The team of Kaz, Blaize, Hana, and Abelard was now all in one place. Blaize was still unconscious, he could tell since he did not yell for pan when the Jounin helped heal him up. The Jounin was now trying to shake and wake Blaize up. When he could not respond Kaz looked up and started to think to himself. But this thinking was types of thinking were he was speaking out loud. “This mission was a bit too much for him I admit. You must of known what type of situation you was getting yourself into, so why go at it alone Blaize? Why, is it for Pride? Are you so stubborn that you had to prove yourself? Did you have to prove yourself to your brother? Damn it Blaize wake UP!!!!!!!”
He yelled as he got off the Jounin’s shoulder and headed straight towards him as he extended his leg and then started to kick him right in the gut. The force started to reach his body and his rib sending off massive pain recipters in his body and forcing him to wake up. As Blaize started to groan a bit he did not have time to think as he then felt the striving Pain that woke him up. He started to wince but could not help but to utter an “Ouch!” off his breath. He started to wonder what the hell had happened to him. He started to look up as the vision he saw was that of His summoning lizard and two others. He then started to speak as he noticed who the reinforcements where. “You? They sent you guys here as my backup...Heh what a small world hua guys…ouch...” He started to look at his hands noticing the items that he had where gone. He looked up and noticed that the cloak was in the possession on Abelard and the Scroll with the summoning Lizard. He then started to look up at the Jounin and then started to speak. “So…you found my clue…are you able to make use of this.. He said as his pain and chakra drain was making him barely able to speak. He looked up at Hana. “I hope this mission did not have to make you leave your new friend alone in the village. “

| Abelard winced inwardly as the lizard kicked Blaize in the stomach, screaming at him to wake up Well, surely it is an effective way to wake him up...though it may not be the kindest on his injuries... Abelard hid a smile, he was glad that Blaize was okay. Seeing comrades die was by far the worst part of being a ninja. It could be even more painful when there was some possibility that he could've been faster and saved him. Luckily, that wasn't something Abelard had to worry about today. Abelard put a shoulder reassuringly on Blaize’s shoulder. “You’ve got some broken ribs, Blaize. Theres no way with your injuries and no doubt diminished chakra reserves that you’ll be able to continue on this mission.” Abelards face was kind but steeled as he told Blaize this. He had no intentions of hurting the boy’s pride. “That doesn’t translate as a failure, however. You did a great job of getting a solid trail on this guy, and you got that scroll back. That piece of cloak you got is going to prove to be invaluable as well. It’ll lead an almost invisible trail of thread bits all the way through this forest.” Abelard looked to the path. “The trail is already getting cold, and I can’t afford to stay here much longer.” This was the hard part, Abelard knew. He had to order Hana to stay behind, and he couldn’t know if she would be willing to or refuse to. All the same, he couldn’t have any more hindrances in his speed and stealth. He needed to catch this guy, and he needed to do it as fast as he possibly could. He turned to Hana, his face as steeled and emotionless as ever. “Hana, I need you to return to Kusagakure with Blaize. He’s not going to be able to make it on his own. With broken ribs comes internal bleeding, and movement will always risk a puncture wound to his lung. So I need you to take him back, it’s the only way he’ll be getting back alive. Listen to me very carefully. If Blaize complains of trouble breathing, slow your pace. If it persists…” Abelard removed a senbon from the pouch on the back of belt and handed it to her. “Puncture the lung with this. Don’t go through it, just far enough to pressurize it. Be careful.” Abelard turned to Blaize once more. “Blaize, I’m going to need to take Kaz with me. In an extreme situation, he’ll be able to get a message back to the village for me, and he seems like he could be useful in battle.” Abelard didn’t mention, of course, that he had gotten used to having the lizard riding on his shoulder. “I’ll make sure he gets back safe.” With that, Abelard turned once more to the trail that he would be following momentarily. “So remember, get back to the village safely, tell the administration whats happened. Tell them that I’m following this ninja to the Spark Nation. If they don’t know where that is, tell them it’s a small peninsula off of the Lightning Country. It’s a breeding ground for missing ninja and bandits. No doubt it’s the place he calls home. I’ll send Kaz back if I need assistance from anyone, or if anything changes.” He began to walk towards the end of the battle created clearing. “be careful you guys. I’ll be back.”
Abelard took off at a run, leaving worry behind him of the safety of the genin. He knew they were capable young ninja, but something felt strange about this mission. Abelard constantly scanned the area, dutifully following the footsteps, as well as tracking the small cloth fibers. As he moved forward, he also swayed his body in tune with his environment. For a moment, he would seem to shimmer, then, as he became more and more in tune with the movements of the wind and trees, he would seem to disappear altogether. Abelard noted as he ran a small bit of blood on a leaf. It seemed that Blaize had done some damage after all. What Abelard wanted to know, however, was why this man wanted the Architectural scrolls? There were much more powerful secrets in Kusagakure to be had. Perhaps he was just looking to make some quick money on the black market…or maybe it was something larger. Architectural scrolls could reveal weaknesses, or even provide the means to plan an attack or invasion… This could be huge. Abelard shook the thought from his head (Metaphorically, he didn’t actually shake his head). He continued on, following the trail left so carelessly by his opponent. Abelard had faced much harder foes to track in the past. He’d been left to only his sense of smell in the past, or had to track in the dark, the rain, the snow. This, this was childsplay. A genin could track this careless man… Abelard’s thoughts ended immediately. He had sensed the danger before he had seen it. The forests had turned now to an open field, and up ahead there was a slight deviation in the grass. It was, no doubt, a trap of some kind. Abelard continued to move forward, but as he approached the patch, he did two things. First, he jumped silently into the air, the background of trees, still concealing him from sight. Second, he had quickly and unnoticeably removed a senbon from his pouch. He threw it at the spot in the grass with intense accuracy, and, sure enough, a metal trap clanked around it. If that was his foot, it would’ve been broken and unusable. Abelard continued on, still scanning the area for traps. After a long time of running, he finally met the edge of Kusagakure, and the beginning of Takigakure. He hoped to find his prey before he made it to the Lightning Country. Abelard was sure that he could catch him, but he had other plans than just killing the man. He stopped momentarily to look around. The path was still steady and straightforward. Abelard took off running again, entering takigakure with blazing speed and not a trace of an image.

| Hana was going to slap the lizard away. She wanted to angrily. The little bastard may have been worried, it was obvious to see, but he could have made the wound worse, more than likely making the rib puncture his lung. Which would lead to even bigger problems. They didn't want that without a medical ninja. She was sure Abelard's medical and first age knowledge wasn't going to save Blaize.
Though she shook the thought off when Blaize woke up. She couldn't hide the excitement in her face and the extra shine in her eyes. She had grown attached to the boy. She had an instant, "Sisterly complex" with the boy. Though he didn't seem much younger than herself. He was a nice guy and she had wanted to hang out with him more. "Phew, glad you're okay," she told him happily.
At the words Blaize shared with Hana she blinked. "Mannox will be fine as long as he doesn't run into Renji again. And besides. I needed to come get your butt so we could drag you to lunch. And he wants to spar with you anyway," she told him slightly sternly.
When Abelard brought up the thought of Blaize going back to the village. That didn't really surprise her. He couldn't fight. He could walk home and they would protect the scroll as well as find their enemy. She could help him. This didn't change her plans. She was already, ready to tell Kaz to go back with Blaize for protection. That is until Abelard spoke again...
She needed to leave too? Well she could see that Blaize would need help but still... It seemed Abelard was getting rid of her. She felt bitterness at first. Though she began to think about it. Something must have changed. Was the guy stronger than Abelard thought? Was there something Abelard noticed that they didn't? Was it really too dangerous?
Hana thought it through a bit more. She shrugged her shoulders in surrender. "Okay, I'll take him back. But you owe me. I want you to buy me lunch," Hana told him playfully. She then got up and took the senbon from Abelard. She listened to what he had to say about it. She hoped she wouldn't have to use it. She then helped Blaize up and made sure he didn't suck in his gut much as he stood. That way the rib wouldn't be jarred too much.
"Let's get going Blaizey," she said using his nickname. She then turned back to the lizard. "We'll take the scroll back now. I'm sure the guy that is running won't think we have it since you'd most likely keep it if you were jonin. I think it would be safer back in Kusa." She took the scroll from him and hid it in her shirt. |

| Blaize was upset that he would be unable to fight during this part of the mission. He knew that his mission was complete but he also wanted to bring in that guy for questioning. It was too late, no matter how hard he try if he was going to continue there would surly only be death knocking at the door. The Jounin was enough to handle a mission of this statue as well as the Genin Hana. There was no reason for Blaize to go forward and he hated the fact that it was true. The fact of the matter is that he was too bruised up in the fight. He reminded himself of the last bits of the match where he created the steam and created an opening to switch the scroll before getting hit with the last attack. He clenched his teeth. It was not something he would do but the fact is that his mission came before and if he didn’t then he would have had to choose another option to get the scroll. With his chakra running thin it was the only option he had seen. For that he was grateful for the advances that he took to get here.
He started to get help from his genin partner Hana to get up. The group of four has now decided to split up. The genin where assigned to go back to the village while his summoning and the Jounin was to head their way into the spark nation. The reason they had to do was because of what happened with Blaize. The mission that they were sent on was to help Blaize and they will just be fulfilling their mission. For that Blaize could not argue. He started to wince feeling the pain as well as a bit lightheaded from the chakra loss. He was surprised at himself he did not last as long as he hopped. Even with the flames he had to depend on Wind style to help him. Maybe it was because he had to go against the Suiton Element. That could be it, it had to be. It is the one that kicked his but in this match. Blaize had to use two elements to even get the damn scroll. It could not be helped but that is how it was and no one could change that fact, not even Blaize himself.
Blaize’s eyes started to widen as Abelard asked for the help of the Lizard on this mission. Well the lizard was part of the team and maybe he could be an asset to the mission as well as to relay a message as he mentioned earlier. Blaize started to nod as he was getting the best out of the situation being carried with the support of Hana. He started to look at Hana as she held the scroll within her shirt. It seems that the genin would be holding the important item that was requested. With this mission that the Abelard and Hana was involved with it was now the matter of capturing the man to make this mission complete. He started to get himself ready as he then spoken off before leaving the area. I know you probably know already happened but he is a person of Suiton nature. Not to mention he is cocky and unpredictable. Stop him as soon as he starts, the longest the match takes the more unpredictable he becomes. I could not stop him myself because my mission was the scroll and only the scroll first. Then if I had time I go after him. Now we posses the scroll so this should be a since for you. I don’t know where he is heading but he may have checkpoints in other area or contacts. One more thing he is a master of disguise so keen senses will help you as much. Please take care of Kaz. He is a Fuuton user and can glide. Remember it is a difference then flying. Good luck you two I wish me and Hana could be of more service to you guys but a missions a mission. “ The team now dispersed and was going on their own way. Blaize started to try to calm his pace as he was trying to limit his breathing. With being hurt and an injury it was kind of hard to travel but the support of the quick brace and Hana’s support defiantly helped a lot. He started to speak as he then coughed. “Hana please stop for a second”
When she was able to stop he started to catch his pase again as he then started to take out a scroll. With this scroll contained the messenger bird that he obtains in the beginning of his own mission. He started to unroll it as the scroll made a poof as a bird has appeared. He then started to use a blank scroll and pen that was included in the bird back holder and wrote down a message. The message included the injuries that he obtained as well as what the new commands was going to happen. He also request for a medical bed to be open for him and that his condition be reported to the medics as soon as possible so they can deal with it accordingly as he gets there. As he finished he then place the scroll in the holder, patted the bird and the bird flew away. He started to look at Hana as he then started to speak. “Alright I am ready to go back. Forgive me but I needed to catch a breath and inform Kusa of my conditions so they could help me as soon as we get back at the village. The pain is getting a bit worse but hopefully getting their attention first would help them heal me up as soon as we get there. I am ready Hana. Thank you so much for your help in this.” He said as he got on Hana’s shoulder once again as they continue their travel home.
When the team went on their own ways, Kaz was ready to help out the best way he could. He started to nod at Abelard as he then started to speak. “It is up to us to get him before he reaches the spark nation. Remember what the supervisor said. The spark nation is a half day’s travel. If he makes it there we may need to fight more enemies. We should try to get him before then. Your speed seems awfully fast but I believe it is going to cut it close, he already obtained a head start and we do not know how fast he is compared to you. I am ready for this let get the shown on! I will get the man who hurt Blaize and put him in this condition. “ The lizard tugged his shirt as he was passionate in his wording. He was ready and meant every word of what he had said about this situation

| Hana blinked when Blaize asked her to stop. She stopped and helped him stay on his feet. She was trying her best not to make him put any weight on the side of his body that his rib was broken at. She held the scroll and the bird for him as he wrote on both once she figured out he was trying to send a note. She did her best to help him as much as she could. Though perhaps she was babying him a bit.
Hana smiled at the boy. "It's no problem. I'm just glad that you are fine Blaize. To be honest I'm really worried about you. I'll do my best to make it this trip as painless as possible. And let me know if you need anything like water or a break. And once we get there we will immediately head to the hospital. Then once you are checked out we can debrief our mission."
They continued walking. Hana began sweating slightly due to the extra weight. Though she really hoped Blaize didn't notice. Or smell if she began to smell. She knew she put on deoderant but she wasn't sure if that would do the trick or not. It would take them twice as long to get to the village but the trip would be easier.
Hana decided that she could try to distract him from the pain. Then perhaps he wouldn't be thinking about it. She thought for a moment. What would she talk about? Perhaps she could confide in him her feelings for the missing ninja? Yes, perhaps that would be best.
"Ah, Blaizey? Is it okay if I call you that? I think we're friends now. So I hope I can call you that. Anyway, I was wondering. What do you think of Mannox? I like him. Well I guess you could tell. Kind of by the kiss I guess, haha. But I think he's an amazing guy. I wouldn't mind getting to know him better. He's strong, smart, kind, polite, and just a great person in general," she told him talking like a schoolgirl with a crush. Though then again, she was still a teenager. Only a year left till she reached adulthood too. She was stuck in the middle of growing up still. Perhaps she was starting to feel something more then a crush then? |

| It did not take long for them to reach the gates of Kusa. With the help of his partner and his letter he would be able to help from Kusa’s shinobi. The message was received shortly after the message was sent. The supervisor of the whole mission was the person to receive this message. He was glad to know that Blaize was alive and able to come back to Kusa alive. The only thing he had was bad injuries but these injuries was better than hearing a news about death. The man was going to call on his employees. Once he got in touch with them he sent word out to the medical core to get ready for a patient with a broken rib and burses on his body. With the message sent early he would be able to order this preparation when Blaize returns and get him treated as soon as he could.
The medical core got the message not to long after the supervisor has got the word of Blaize’s health. The medical core ordered two medical shinobi. The first medical shinobi was going to get after his records and get the beds and medications ready for his arrival. The second medical shinobi was bringing out a first aid kit and a stretcher for Blaize to return to the hospital with. With a broken rib the shinobi wanted to make sure that Blaze would not need to move more than he had to. The shinobi now left on to go visit him in the gates. The gates only took him a few minutes to get there. As he reached the gates he started to wait for Blaize’s return to the village.
Now Hana and Blaize was returning to the village. With the help of Hana he was able to get himself into a better stance and travel along the path home. It did take them a bit longer to get home but he was safe and that was something he could enjoy. It did take a few minutes for Hana to talk about something personal. He heard her speak about Mannox and that day that she kissed him in front of him, the Chuunin, the Abelard. He started to think about shaking his head but he then started to stop himself because he knew any more movement would only cause him to hurt more. He started to think about his thoughts as he then started to speak after taking off from a tree branch that they just landed on. “So you want to know what I thing about him? He seems fine, I think. The way he came out was not anything of ill intent. But then, we will never know how he truly is. By that I mean he is listed as a missing ninja of his own intentions or not, he is still a missing ninja. I am glad that you get to find someone you like just make sure your choosing with your heart and not your head. They are two different things; I have done that in the….errr… Just make sure what you choose is the right choice. That’s all I have to say in the matter of Mannox.”
As he started to calm his rhythm again he started to think about Kaz and Abelard. He wondered how they were doing. Knowing them probably being in stealth if they have not gotten him yet. Although the mission was only to resolve to capture the man for questioning the Jounin may have been ordered to do something else. He is after all the assistant of the Kusakage so he must have thought of something else in mind. He just hoped that Kaz and Abelard will handle anything that the man can dish out. After his head regained in the reality he then started to notice the village gates. Within the village gates he could see the entrance and the guarding post. He then saw something else, a person just standing within the middle of the gates. It seems he got his look onto the two genin as he then waved his hand to flag them to come down to him. He looked and nodded to Hana as they started to get down on the ground to meet the person. The person himself looked like a medical ninja wearing their appropriate attire. The man started to speak as soon as he took out a scroll as he unlocked a seal and a stretcher now poofed out into the surface. He started to lean forward next to Hana and Blaize. “Don’t worry I am a medical ninja. I got the message Blaize sent earlier about needing assistance. My comrade and I are going to assist in your treatment. My comrade is already preparing your bed, records, and is getting ready for to evaluate you once you return. I am here to escort the two of you to the hospital. Young lady if you please help me assist him in the stretcher.” Blaize thought of this as weird but I guess they did want to take some precautions into the situation. Blaize complied and accepted the help the two shinobi has given them. It did not take long to get on the ground and rest on the stretcher with the help of the other two shinobi. Once he was in position the man started to look at Hana and then spoken once more. “I need you to help me bring him to the hospital. What I need you to do is take the scroll that is on the floor and then open it out as far as it can and lay it back down on the floor.” When she was finished it shown another seal. This was a more complex seal then the one that held the stretcher. He then started to ask her for assistance to get on the other side of the stretcher. He made the count off and the two of them pulled Blaize up from the ground. He then told her to mirror his movements to get at least one of their feet inside of the scroll. Once this happened and he knew that each one of their foot was in the scroll he started to do a hand sign as they disappeared into a puff of smoke.
The puff of smoke was that of a teleportation that transferred the three of them to the Hospital. Within this hospital the shinobi appeared in a bed that was the room that Blaize would be staying. There the second Medical ninja was here and ready to help treat Blaize. The first medical ninja asked his help to bring Blaize in the bed. In a one two three motion they carried Blaize body and laid him down on his bed. The second medical ninja looked at Hana and then started to speak. “Ma’am I want to thank you for your assistance to bring him here. I know you have done much but I need you to leave a bit while we get Blaize some treatment and change these bandages. In the meantime would you please go and inform the people at the administration building that Blaize has arrived to the hospital safe. I understand that you have to report there to so I hope it is not too much to ask.” When/if she accepted they escorted her out of the room and then started to close the door. This would be their time for the medical staff to take care of Blaize and help him treat his burses from the fight he had with the Suiton shinobi. Even though the burses would be cured the fact of taking care of bones is a bit more trickery business. It was good that he returned safely he now has a better chance of a speedy recovery. Now half of part was complete. It was up to Hana to inform the administration of what happened and report for new orders.
