| KESSHO, MEGUMI.THE INFO. Name: Kessho, Megumi. Nickname: Gumi. Megu. Age: 16. Gender: Female. Appearance:
HEAD) The first thing you will notice about this young kunoichi's face is her eye patch. Sometimes, it a simple white eye patch that most doctors would give out. Other times, the eye patch is black and just may or may not have a more elaborate quality-- skulls or small embedded jewels decorating it. Megumi's eyes are naturally violet. Her mostly straight hair is a similar shade to her eyes, though usually more darker looking. She has found that her hair is quick to grow, it taking only mere weeks before it is at shoulder length despite originally being more at near chin length. It is also common to see the kunoichi's hair unkept, especially towards the back of her head where it tends to stick up or out slightly similar to the fashion of a pineapple. Megumi doesn't really wear make up all that much, but you can occasionally spot her lips a bit more shiny than usual. The answer as to why that is-- transparent lipgloss. Her lips are more on the fuller side while her nose is a on the smaller side with a sharp little point. Both of her ear lobes are pierced.
BODY) Megumi has light skin that tends to become rather splotchy in a red or pink color when it is irritated or harmed as well as when she becomes embarrassed or becomes too hot. An uncertain amount of scars riddle her back as well as some stitchings. She stands at five feet and three inches without shoes. Her weight rests at ninety-seven pounds. The kunoichi doesn't have much muscle definition within her legs, but her shoulders are a bit on the broader side while her fists can pack quite the mean punch. Her finger nails are also usually painted. However, contrasting to most ninja that also paint their nails, she uses a stark white rather than black or purple like most. A necklace can always be seen hanging from her neck.
CLOTHING) This kunoichi is apart of the Kessho clan. Because of this, she follows tradition and wears a specific uniform that many other members of the clan wear. Covering up her black, long-sleeved, fishnet shirt is the standard wool collared robe that many other Kessho members can be seen wearing. It is a dark blue color and bears the Kessho clan symbol on the back. However, unlike some, she does not tie her robe closed via rope nor leaves a bow in the back. The robe is left mostly open. While this might leave concerns as to whether or not that would be a good idea given the fact that she has a fishnet shirt on, underneath the fishnet is a black bellyshirt to prevent certain unmentionables from being seen. The robe ends at her knees-- just enough to cover up her black shorts, too. Megumi completes the outfit with the final touch of adding her hip pouch and black ninja sandals.
Personality:
HEART OF GOLD) It is not very hard to realize that Megumi is a nice girl. She goes out of her way to be polite with nearly everyone she comes across, intimidating or not. Even should you treat her poorly, odds are, she will still treat you with an alarming amount of manners. It isn't out of the ordinary to see her assisting someone and if you come to her needing help, she will do almost anything in her power to make sure you are taken care of. The kunoichi has a very low tolerance for gossiping and naturally strays away from insulting others. She would sacrifice herself to defend those she loves dearly, including the village, Konohagakure no Sato.
OPTIMISTIC) If you were to ask Megumi, "Is the glass half empty or half full?", she would without a moments hesitation tell you it is half full. She has confidence and a chirpy cheerfullness about her in regards to just about everything. Should you try to break her spirit for whatever reason, she will simply look at you with a scowl, insist that not everything is bad as it seems, and that perhaps you should try looking at things a bit differently. You can call the kunoichi a hopeful fool, but hey, she admits she would rather live her life that way.
GULLIBLE) Megumi is definietly a gullible person. However, she isn't really aware of this trait and often becomes somewhat flustered whenever people point it out. She is a bit too quick to put her trust in others and believes she is being told the truth naturally without even a sliver of suspicion. Because of this, it is nearly impossible for her to detect when someone is lying to her and makes it easier for others to decieve her. Whether it's because she's so polite or because her optisim blinds her from a making a more thorough judgement call, Megumi is just a gullible person. This also means she is more ready to believe certain things like Japanese mythology or Japanese superstitions.
TRADITIONAL) This kunoichi is quite knowledgable in regards to traditional Japanese culture. From preforming tea ceremonies, playing songs with a koto, and to putting together some of the most complex of kimonos; Megumi has experience with all of this and more. While this is an admirable trait, it can also make her come across as a bit of a know it all, especially when someone needs explaining of a certain something and she has the answer to it.

Combat Style: Megumi is a close range fighter. Using her ninjutsu, especially her clan techniques, she aims to contain and keep her enemies in one spot or injury them enough to bring their reactions and speed at a considerably slower pace. Then, the kunoichi will usually whip out her taijutsu and attack at an even closer range, beating them until they submit or are knocked unconcious. THE BACKGROUND. History:
• On a warm spring morning, sixteen years ago, a mother gave birth to a baby girl. That baby girl was Megumi Kessho. She was a sole child, but completed the couple, thus the family of three lived happily within Konohagakure no Sato. • Megumi spent most of her time with her mother during her very early years of life. She was a loving mother and simply adored her daughter, having no problem at all with retiring from her career as a tea house hostess to take care of her child. Megumi's father continued his line of work as a shinobi for Konohagakure no Sato, but spent as much time as he could with his family. • It was around this time period that, sadly, Megumi's mother passed away. Reasons of her death were never discussed in front of Megumi and since she never questioned it, she was never told. Because her father still needed to maintain his position as a shinobi for Konohagakure no Sato, the young girl began staying over at her aunt's house more often than not. It was around this time that she met her cousin, Yuna. The three females would do various activities such as tea ceremonies, proper kimono preparations, and studying of traditional Japanese culture. • Megumi and Yuna developed a very close relationship. The two girls were practically glued together. So, when Megumi's father took the time to begin more advance teachings to further their ninja abilities, they found it thoroughly enjoyable that both would be fantastic kunoichi fighting side by side. • Soon, both of the girls were enrolled into Konohagakure no Sato's Ninja Academy. They continued to get along until it became a bit more evident that Megumi possessed more potential and was one of the more skilled kunoichi within the Academy, and certainly more so than her cousin. This sparked jealousy within Yuna and caused a rough patch in their relationship. A rivalry, albeit one-sided, was formed much to Megumi's displeasure. • It was around this time that Megumi, along with her cousin, was promoted to Genin rank. Megumi, her father, her aunt, and her cousin all celebrated by going out. They all had a wonderful time together, even if the small rivalry between the cousins remained. This would be one of the last nights all of them were together as whole before the war between Konohagakure no Sato and several other villages erupted. • Two years into being a Genin, the rivalry between the cousins intensified. Megumi, refusing to be an antagonist, began to focus on different things aside from Yuna. This included her newly assigned team as well as her very first crush, Sakumo Aburame. Unfortunately, this only made Yuna feel as if she was being ignored and she certainly didn't like that, thus the rivalry involved to the point that Yuna didn't even really like Megumi anymore. Megumi suffered in silence as her cousin looked upon her as an enemy and her team disbanded due to their sensei's death. • Megumi's father was killed in action. Having lost both her mother and father, the kunoichi promptly moved in with her aunt and cousin. • Yuna was strictly forbidden to fight within the war by her mother. Megumi received similar ruling by her aunt. However, the envious Yuna was determined to outdo Megumi, thus she joined the battlefield. Megumi could not allow this. Her cousin was very near and dear to her, whether she realized it or not. She chased after her cousin and ended up saving her life. This resulted in the loss of one of the kunoichi's eyes, as well as a stitching and various scars among her back. Yuna was forced by her mother to stay away from any Genin duties and was watched constantly at home. While the rivalry had faded off, Yuna still found herself holding something against Megumi and was reluctant to do anything with her, let alone carry on a normal conversation. This broke her the one eyed girl's heart. • It was of great horror to the kunoichi when she heard of her former teammate, Sakumo Aburame, had also been in an incident during the war and was currently in a comatose state. She immediately visited him. She continued to visit him whenever she could, each time with an undying hope that he would wake up. The day he finally did pop his eyes open brought great happiness to her, so much, that she had to show an abundant amount of restraint. • As her former teammate began to recover at a faster rate and was let out of the hospital, Megumi's aunt passed away. Yuna and Megumi obtained the house and proceeded to share it. • Unfortunately, Megumi soon found herself captured by enemies. She had put up quite the fight but was overpowered in the end. In an exhausted and beaten state, she temporarily slipped into unconscious. The kunoichi later awoke in the arms of her former teammate, Sakumo Aburame, who was carrying her back to safety- Konohagakure no Sato. She was, much to her happiness, also welcomed warmly by her cousin. Yuna had realized her errors and deeply regretted treating her cousin the way she did. After all, Megumi was the only family she had left. Their relationship was instantly repaired. • The war eventually brought itself to an end. Many had been lost, but being the optimistic person she was, Megumi would not allow it to break her. She eagerly awaits for what her future will bring.

"Mother, it's fall." the young kunoichi stated rather plainly. A wind blew by and stirred up fallen leaves on the ground back into the air. They ranged in all sorts of colors, those mostly being brown or red. She sat with her mother outside of the clan's headquarters, simply relaxing and observing the season's changing. "I know, it's your favorite season." her mother replied back as she ran a brush through her daughter's long jet-black straight hair, the hair that almost all Hyuuga carried in their genetics. Orihima let out a small sigh. "What's wrong, Orihima? Are you irritated?" her mother questioned in that gentle motherly concerned voice of her's, though continuing to brush her daughter's hair. Orihima always seemed irritated. Well, not necessarily always, but for the most part. Her lips pursed as she thought on how to answer her mother. "Actually, no. I'm not irritated. Just thinking of the possible things that could happen with this new team meeting thing. I'm not an actual permanent member, but I intend on making an impression." she finally answered.
Her mother seemed a little shock. "Oh, well, that's nice to hear! I'm glad you're so determined to leave an impression. You're usually so grumpy and irritated." her mother crooned. Orihima let out a scoff and rolled her eyes. Orihima tensed, which her mother knew she would before laughing. Her mother stopped brushing her daughter's hair and then turned her around to look at her, which Orihima allowed. She remained quiet, knowing her mother wasn't finished speaking. "But it's okay! You may be grumpy and irritating, but you're my grumpy little princess! I know you mean good, sweetie!" she crooned again, giggling. Orihima blushed with embarrassment despite no one actually being around to witness the ordeal.
Her lips couldn't help but to stretch into her crooked little way of smiling. A very rare giggle escaped the kunoichi's lips quietly. No one understood her more than her mother did. Her mother caressed her milky white cheek and gave her daughter a kiss on the forehead. "Alright, now. You should go to your meeting now. Don't want to be late." her mother then said, standing up and helping her daughter up. Orihima nodded in agreement. She wore a black sleeveless shirt with fishnet along the collar, stretchy form fitting grey pants, black ninja shoes, and her unzipped grey hoodie. With her village headband being worn similar to a necklace and a small pouch tied around her right hip, Orihima was ready to go.
She left her clan's headquarters, traveling towards the training grounds. The occasional wind continued to blow by. It shook the leaves of the trees, the kunoichi's hair, and loose strands of grass from near by fields. An indifferent expression was on Orihima's face as she finally reached the training grounds. Her Hyuuga eyes skimmed the fields. A particular individual stood out. He was a middle aged looking man with a rather large scroll on him, sitting upon a rock at the far end of the field. The kunoichi's sharp memory recalled once seeing the man descending from the Hokage's building with a group of genin. She also recalled once seeing him visit the ANBU base. One more popped up, being that he was usually rather close with the Hokage, leaving her to believe he was possibly some sort of advisor or what not. Her instincts told her he was the Jounin that had enrolled her to fill in the empty spot on his team. She was used to seeing very young Jounin; the middle aged man was a breath of fresh air. If anything, it meant he probably had more experience. The Hyuuga liked the sound of that. From the looks of it, she was the first genin to arrive. 'And mother didn't want me to be late...' she thought ironically.
Orihima approached the man with her usual indifferent facial expression. "I'm Orihima Hyuuga." she stated, even though she was sure her eyes were a dead give away. "If my memory serves, which it usually does, you must be Kaosu-Sensei." she concluded with a simple voice, as if it were all a matter a fact.

The user summons crystalizes the space around a target completely encase a single target in crystal. If a person was so unlucky to be encased in the crystal then they will have quite a hard time breaking free from it, if the crystal itself was broken and a person was encased within it, then that segment of crystal would be destroyed allowing the victim to have free movement where they were once trapped. Name: Precise Punch. Rank: D. Type: Taijutsu. Range: Close (0m - 5m). Element: N/A. Description: The user utilizes all their focus into punching a very precise location on the opponent’s body. Usually, it is (but not limited to) the face, chest, or stomach. While this highly increases the chance of landing a single incredibly painful punch on the target’s body, it is possible for the user to overlook their surroundings and possibly trip, misstep, etc. Chakra Cost: 3 (Chakra Cost Per Post: 1).
Name: Frantic Fist. Rank: D. Type: Taijutsu. Range: Close (0m - 5m). Element: N/A. Description: This technique is essentially the exact opposite of Precise Punch. The user utilizes all their focus into punching any location on the opponent’s body. While this highly increases the chance of landing multiple punches on the target’s body, they are usually not very painful and are less likely to draw blood. Chakra Cost: 3 (Chakra Cost Per Post: 1).
Name: Red Cheek Combo. Rank: D. Type: Taijutsu. Range: Close (0m - 5m). Element: N/A. Description: The user stomps on the target's foot and then brings a punch to the target's face. Sometimes the user alters this technique and instead slaps the target's face and then again with a back-hand slap. The combo gets it's name from the red mark that is usually left on the target's face. Chakra Cost: 3.
Name: Kick From Above. Rank: C Type: Taijutsu. Range: Close (0m - 5m). Element: N/A. Description: The user runs and jumps into the air then extends their leg-- foot crashing down onto the target's upper body along with majority of the user's body weight. This has enough force behind it to knock the opponent off their feet. This can cause a good amount of damage to the target's chest and may provoke coughing fits as well as trouble with breathing. Name: Ointment. Rank: D. Type: Medical. Appearance: The container holding the ointment is a transparent light blue color and is also square shaped while the cream itself is an off-white color. It is very small and capable of fitting into things such as hip pouches, coin purses, or even someone's pocket. Quantity: 1. Storage: Kept within Megumi's shorts pocket. Special Abilities: This ointment isn't particularly strong, but can temporary relieve pain from injuries such as: minor cuts, small burns, and scrapes. It can also help prevent infection.
Name: Bandage. Rank: D. Type: Medical. Appearance: A simple roll of elastic bandage constructed from cotton, polyester and latex-free elastic yarns. It is colored white and can be secured after wrapping around desired body part via velcro. Small enough to fit into a hip pouch, coin purse, or even someone's pocket. Quantity: 1. Storage: Kept within Megumi's shorts pocket. Special Abilities: This roll of elastic bandage is used to treat muscle sprains and strains by reducing the flow of blood to a particular area by the application of even stable pressure which can restrict swelling at the place of injury.
