Physical || In early years, members of the Raishi clan were known to possess long brown hair and light skin. Both sexes grew their hair to shoulder length and always worn in a free-flowing style. In recent years however the clan has integrated with many other varieties of people and thus the traditional strong clan image became tarnished. Those within the Raishi clan may have any unique appearance dependent on their parents, ranging from all eye colors and skin complexions. A small percentage of members retain the dark brown hair and eyes like their founders, but they certainly exist. Since the clan is progressing to a more elite status within Iwagakure, members are trained more rigorously than other shinobi, which makes the clan in general very fit and muscular.

Killing Machines
Clan members possess a encyclopedic knowledge on different variables and components to kill a target when on the field as quickly and stylish as possible. They are highly trained in both the art of assassination and war, making them versatile fighters and extremely dangerous opponents. During both the first and second Shinobi War, their skill was said to only be rivaled with that of the Senju and Uchiha. Whilst so, clan members are skilled in nearly all form of ninjutsu which includes genjutsu, ninjutsu, taijutsu and even weaponry (this does not permit more than two specialties). However, the clan's most power attribute is definably their advanced element known as Yoton; Lava Release. With their natural abilities and kekkei genkai, the clan easily walks on the corpses of their enemies. When in battle clan members are taught to observe the enemy and be as perceptive as possible. Many have said that members of the clan possess a natural gift for finding ways to kill someone in any situation.

Highly Respected
Being a clan whose roots grow deeply within the soil's of history, the Raishi have built alliances with many people and are very respected to many other clans. There isn't one nation on the planet who hasn't encountered the Raishi clan one point or another in the course of history. This global popularity is very rewarding for a Raishi clan member in numerous ways. They can buy anything with a discount in any village and when on missions in foreign villages they always have a comfortable shelter to stay in. But of course, with great comrades comes great enemies because of the clan's long legacy. On rare occasions member may encounter enemies who wish to ruin the Raishi clan and kill it's members, so its important that clan members examine their territory.

Yoton [Lava Release]
The Lava Release (熔遁; 溶遁, Yōton; Viz "Corrosion Style" or "Lava Style") jutsu are techniques that combine fire and earth-based chakra to create a torrent of lava that can melt away almost anything. It is a very powerful and dangerous element for obvious purposes which makes it very feared in combat for its 'one-hit kill' attribute. When using techniques from this kekkei genkai, lava is typically released through the mouth of the user, and in more advanced forms directly from the earth. Lava has the appearance of a bright reddish-yellow thick liquid that is essentially molten rock. When rapidly cooled such as being exposed to room temperature long enough, lava hardens into a igneous rock which can be exploited by the user. Lava wields temperatures so high that it can effortlessly burn a hole through concrete and melt steel like butter. Even substances as dense as diamond will eventually molt through the effects of lava if exposed long enough.

Raishi Clan's Hiden No Jutsu

History:
The Raishi clan are known as one of the oldest clans in the shinobi world, existing in the late times of the Uchiha and Senju. They were founded by two brothers whom both possessed the kekkei genkai which allows them to access the lava element by mixing both their earth and fire chakra types. The brothers lived on Mt. Iyashi which was located near the Great Mountains of Iwagakure. They resided in a small temple inside the mountain where they trained intensely to perfect their ninjutsu. Eventually both boys grew up and left the mountains to embark on a long journey across the villagers to fill their thirst of adventure. When reaching the lands of Konoha, they discovered a large clan whom they found much connection with, the Uchiha clan. The Raishi brothers grew along with the Uchiha, forming the now larger Raishi clan which is actually a mix of the Uchiha clan. Both clans existing in a cordial relationship and they helped each other in whatever battles they encountered. The Uchiha aided the Raishi clan in their training which is how the Raishi became such talented ninja that they are today. During a last battle, the Raishi clan smashed with the Mushiki clan who allied with the Senju. It was a epic battle of two clans possessing advanced element kekkei genkai, which ended in many members of both sides being killed. After the war, the Raishi left the Uchiha and fled back to Iwagakure to stabilize their war engulfed life and find some peace in its stone walls. Many elders of the clan possess memories of the battles and prepare the young for the "Day of Reckoning" which is a conspiracy theory that the Uchiha and Senju will once again fight in a epic battle where they will aid the Uchiha once again.

From what we were told (and from Adam's post on Jastrok's application), if the Bijuu posessed said ability (i.e Acid Release, Lava Release, Bubble Release etc) it could not be put into Kekkei Genkai form.

- I just want some things clarified in the KKG. Could you just outline that lava technique's are known to be slow in speed (to compensate for their one-hit-kill nature). And could you also outline to general temperatures that it can reach.

I don't get this either, I find it completely unnecessary to base a clan of those Bijuu abilities Deme, because we thought of those to ensure that they weren't massive ones we were taking away from clans but were still nice to have for the bijuu exclusively.
