Ikusen is always seen wearing a black cloak with slightly over-long sleeves and covers most of his body, though when it opens, it shows his black nin shirt with a front covered in pockets for holding various weapons and scrolls, a belt with holes for holding kunai within easy reach, and a pair of long black pants with plenty of pockets. He absolutely hates the nin shoes, and usually wears geta instead, unless absolutely necessary.
Ikusen's puppet is named Ama-no-Zuka, and is kept under his cloak and behind his back, held in place by a single leather strap running diagonally across Ikusen's chest.
Personality: Ikusen hates knuckle-headed ninja with delusions of grandeur and especially hates people that are very wealthy, leading him to make himself out to be a more modern Robin Hood.
In battle, Ikusen usually waits until a good moment to strike, and focuses on defense until just the right moment instead of attacking head-on. He constantly tries to find weak points by only defending before unleashing a barrage of attacks of his own. He never goes towards an opponent, believing that moving towards an opponent will tire him out instead of the other ninja.
Ikusen is always wary of other ninja, although good-looking women put his guard down quite easily. He also talks to his puppets like they're real people, with individual names for each of them.

Description: This jutsu allows the user to assume the appearance of another person, animal, or object. This is one of the basic jutsu taught at the Konoha Ninja Academy. Fundamentally, all ninja know this jutsu. The transformation jutsu is considered to be among the more difficult E-ranked techniques, since it requires constant emission of chakra while mentally maintaining the form. On top of that, the user would be, most likely, interacting with the environment. This puts much mental strain on the inexperienced ninja.

Description: This technique creates intangible copies of the user. The clones are simply illusions and will dissipate when they come into contact with something. The illusions can be seen through by the Byakugan and the Sharingan. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.).

Description: Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.

Description: This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. A puff of smoke is occasionally used to disguise the user's movements. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily boost the user's reflexes. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance between the user and their intended destination.

Description: Ama-no-Zuko wears a long kimono so that it appears to have legs. It has long, black horse hair on the top of its head to look like a woman, and there’s enough to hide its face, when needed. Ama-no-Zako’s wooden body has been painted near-white, to make it look passably human, except for its face, which is completely white like a ghost’s. The face is set into a constant, wide grin with sharp, demonic-looking metal teeth. Where the eyes usually are, there are two gaping holes, made to look like a skull’s blank stare.
Body Slots:
Slot 1: Mouth: Metal teeth for catching or deflecting thrown weapons.
Slot 2: Fingers and palm of hand: Hollow, ridged metal needles that can be filled with poison or left empty, used mostly to hold an opponent still, if caught.
Slot 3: Eye sockets: A candle inside (with reflecting plates all around it) direct light to create a very direct beam of bright light to blind an opponent.
Slot 4: Chest cavity: Can be used to hold any number of weapons, or even a ninja that the user is trying to smuggle or otherwise carry easily.
History: Ama-no-Zuko was created by Ikusen while he had been on the run, and is made from spare pieces of wood from lumber yards and housing developments. At first, Ikusen had used Ama-no-Zuko as a friend, making her into a puppet with only a hollow head and torso to make it lighter. After deciding to be a shinobi, however, Ikusen eventually found enough scrap metal to create its metal fangs. Although it took him a year to learn, Ikusen learned the use of chakra strings to control his creation, which he named Ama-no-Zuka, after one of his favorite obake stories.

Background Information
History:
Birth Arc: Ikusen was born into a wealthy family, which is quite ironic, due of his revulsion of wealthy people. He was born near the village of Konohagakure and pampered from an early age, but by the time he was five, he began dressing like a commoner and going into the poorer parts of his village without his parents' knowledge. There, he learned quickly how to use simple short knives with skill and grace, far away from his parents. However, he could not sate his urge for training, always believing there was something better for him in other places. Eventually, his need for more training pushed him from his family, and at the age of 16, he donned his commoner clothes one last time and left his home, bringing every knife in his possession with him and claiming a new name: Ikusen Yaiba.
After travelling by sitting the cargo holds of any wagon large enough while they sent cargo to different parts of the Fire Country, he eventually finds himself in the Village Hidden in the Leaves. After taking a look about the town, he notices the shinobi training in the Academy and decides to become a ninja to earn money.
Academy Arc: To join the Academy, Ikusen steals clothes from one of the hot springs in the village, leaving his old ones as a replacement. He then goes to the teacher of the Academy, claiming to be an orphan from one of the neighboring small villages. After being accepted, he ignores the other students out of arrogance and hubris, thinking himself their better. After being defeated easily in a quick sparring match, however, he is humiliated and ignored the other students out of shame, instead. He trained himself harder than ever after his humiliating defeat, and passed the Academy within a year.
Genin Arc: Soon after graduating, Ikusen challenges the student that had beaten him so long before, showing his first sign of bravery in months. After cutting his opponent several hundred times, but only causing small, though painful cuts, the student gave in from the pain and dizziness caused by so many sudden cuts. The bully had to be helped to the hospital to recover the blood he lost from the fight, and Ikusen regained his honor. Only then did he join his Genin group, though he had a feeling that he might not be well received because of his latest victory...
Role-Play Sample: After a light rain the night before, in the shimmering wet streets of the Leaf Village, Ikusen is bumped by a little laughing child, but he ignores the small boy and continues on his way for a moment before he realizes he's lost his wallet. Immediately connecting the dots, Ikusen turns and chases after the kid, his eyes betraying his anger at the little theif. He follows the child's ragged shirt when the boy turns into an alley.
Upon following the urchin, Ikusen sees a much taller man hidden in shadows, with a smaller form, the child, half-hidden behind the large shadow. Ikusen reflexively reaches into his cloak for one of his many daggers, and the man also pulls out a knife, though his is much longer and obviously used often. Ikusen takes a single step back, feigning fear, and the adult theif rushes forward to take the chance, not realizing that Ikusen was moving his fingers of his free hand, and Mole jumps out from over the shinobi's head, the blades poking out of its eyes straight at the man, scaring him immediately and making him drop the knife and run.
After the battle, the smaller, more innocent child gives back the wallet and makes a hasty retreat, though in the opposite direction the latest victim went. Ikusen smiles at this development, then opens his wallet and finds it empty. "Oh, come on!" He quickly turns around, but the boy is already out of sight, and the shinobi kicks at a puddle, making water spray up into the air. "Dammit!" When he settles down, Ikusen slowly walks back out of the alley and moves, with a thin veil of calm, towards his home.
