Lilium has a petite, doll-like figure, her skin often resembling that of porcelain, seemingly fragile enough to break when touched. Her complexion is quite fair, not tan, nor exactly pale. She only stands about five feet, two inches from the ground, and weighs about ninety-three pounds. She holds a fit physique, though not quite muscular. Although she's small, her structure is more lanky, balanced, and flexible than most, making her movements fairly graceful. Both her ears are pierced, one on her left, and two on her right lobe, though usually hidden by her hair. She has light brown locks, with a tint of auburn, depending on the lighting. Her hair is straight, and of moderate length, draping only slightly past her shoulders. Complimented by her brilliant hair are her unique, hazel eyes, ranging from a bright gold to a radiant green.
Her attire normally consists of neutral colors, as well as black, white, and grey. Lilium usually keeps it simple, wearing a custom top with a hoodie, jeans or shorts, and closed shoes. She doesn't like going out of her comfort zone, so she often chooses to wear something easy to move around in, rather than something formal, or extravagant. However, she always wears a choker necklace, with a sparkling gem in the middle, and usually a single sleeve on the lower part of her left arm, accompanied by her village headband, that she wears proudly. Her mission attire is practically the same. The only additions are her backpack, usually slung over her shoulder, and her weapon pouch, strapped to her left leg. Other than that, she only has a band tied around each of her calves, assumed for emergency situations, and only noticeable when she isn’t wearing longer clothing.
Personality:
Lilium is the silent type, usually keeping a calm and collected composure. Although she is quiet, and a bit shy, she is very friendly. She doesn't normally mind the company of others, unless she is in a bad mood, or otherwise concentrating on her artwork and music. Regardless, she tries her best to remain kind and courteous of others at all times. Lilium doesn't exactly like upsetting others, or any form of drama, for that matter. She also dislikes noise, and crowds. Therefore, she finds herself often avoiding people in general. However, she doesn't mind making friends, especially if it's one on one communication, instead of an overwhelming group, all speaking at once. Due to her lack of interest in the majority of people, most see her as 'boring', or 'dull'. Little do they know, she's actually very creative, and interesting, in her own mind. Only when Lilium fully expresses herself would anyone understand her fully.
Surprisingly enough, Lilium actually has no problem with those of the opposite gender, and in fact gets along better with males, than females. Due to her lack of feminine tendencies, she comes off more like 'one of the guys', rather than a girl. The majority of females also can't seem to take Lilium's sense of humor, which ranges from sarcastic to just plain dry. Because most males aren't nearly as sensitive as females, they tend to laugh along with Lilium, rather than take offense.
Despite her harmless appearance, Lilium also tends to be a bit rough. If provoked enough, she can have an explosive temper. She also has no problem putting someone in their place, and speaking her mind at times, which may even make her seemingly judgmental. However, don't be fooled by this side of her, she is actually very accepting. When someone other than those she considers close to her doesn't accept her, she simply doesn't care, and just ignores them, no matter how persistent they may be on the subject. Lilium knows when she's at fault, and even apologizes when she's not, especially when it comes to her superiors, or close friends. She tends to be obedient, most of the time, and even goes along with decisions she doesn't entirely agree with. However, if she is dead against something, she may come off as a bit rebellious, and even irrational, while she believes she is right, in her own mind.
As for interests and aspirations, Lilium takes great pride in her artwork and music. She loves sketching, painting, origami, singing, and enjoys simply watching others do the same. It seems she opens up more to those who share similar interests to her, because she feels that they will be more accepting of her. She also has a love for nature, both plants and animals, and practically anything living, and not. Most of her art consists of scenery, and majestic views of the world around her. She believes her art and music is what keeps her life so colorful, and that she would probably go insane without it, claiming a life without color is horribly dull. Also, due to her in-depth perception, creativity, and resourcefulness, she is more capable of problem solving, and making use of what little she may have in a tricky situation, and therefore she is often depicted as a strategist. Lilium aspires to become a great artist, furthering her abilities, while leading the life of a successful kunoichi, protecting and helping her village grow, so that future generations may see a world so beautiful.

Lilium was born talented in the field of art, music, and literature. She is easily inspired by her surrounding environment, and is often found sketching, painting, origami, composing music, or poetry in her free time. While these characteristics may not have advantages for the normal ninja, Lilium makes use of her talent in her techniques.
Graceful
From years of training in stealth, Lilium tends to have graceful footing, making her footsteps careful, and silent. She also has a slightly higher success rate at evading an enemy.
Protective
Lilium tends to be very protective of her loved ones, and friends. When they are in danger, her emotions reach a peak, causing an adrenaline rush. Therefore, she becomes a bit berserk, but can also endure a bit more than usual, for the sake of those she holds dear.
Careful
Although she lacks the experience of a medical ninja, Lilium knows the basics of tending to wounds. She may not be able to convert her chakra for healing, but can at least bandage and clean wounds, to prevent bleeding out or infection.

The user can produce up to five needles per time the jutsu is used in battle.

Description: Paper Release: Vanishing Paper Technique is a Ninjutsu technique used by the Tetsumi Clan. The user will sit cross-legged in front of a dead or unconscious body and produce one hand seal. There paper will slowly float around them and cover them completely. After a few minutes they will transform into the body they saw in front of them. In this form they can still use all paper jutsu and paper forms. To release the technique, paper will fly from the user completely, making it so they don't even exist, and then they will form back together and transform into the user to their normal state.

Description: Paper Release: paper Drain Technique is a Ninjutsu technique used by the Tetsumi Clan. This is a technique that uses paper to drain small amounts of chakra from the opponent. The user will send paper flying towards the target. For 5 posts, whatever comes into contact with the paper with the exception of the user, the paper will stick to the target temporarily and will drained it of 5% of their chakra. The paper once fulfilled its maximum quota of 5% will turn blue and fall of the target to the ground. The papers themselves can be easily removed but many may find removing multiple papers without hurting themselves difficult. This technique can only be used once per battle.

Description: Paper Release: Paper Substitution Technique is a Ninjutsu technique used by the Tetsumi Clan. This is a technique used along with the Scattering Paper Technique. While the paper is scattered across the area above and around the opponent, should the opponent attempt to attack the user, they will be able to perform any of the following actions without hand signs. They can either substitute themselves with the surrounding paper or create an illusionary ‘bunshin’ anywhere within the paper. Used correctly, this advantage can greatly increase ones evasion whilst inside the area where the paper is scattered.

Description: Paper Release: Angel Wings is a Ninjutsu technique used by the Tetsumi Clan. This jutsu allows the clan member the ability to fly. Using paper from their legs, the paper will attach to the users back and produce large wings which allow the clan member to float up into the air. The wing span from one end to another is about 10 feet long and is covered with a large, thick amount of paper folded over each other. The clan member usually uses these wings in battle to have a height advantage over their opponents, instead of using them for transportation as they can't actually fly long distances. Though the wings allow the user to have fast evasion in the air over short distances and give them an advantage for aerial based attacks.

Description: Paper Release: God's Divine Strike is a Ninjutsu technique used by the Tetsumi Clan. This technique has to be used while the clan member has the Paper Release: Angel Wings technique activated. The user will produce an endless stream of paper up their back to reimburse the paper lost while this technique is in use. The clan member will have the paper peel from their wings and they will quickly fold into long needles which are then fired towards the opponent. The number of needles produced is very large as thousands rain down on the opponent per second. The needles are strengthened with chakra and have the normal piercing ability that paper Needles have (can pierce through skin). The sheer volume of this technique more than overwhelms the opponent causing them to be pierced by thousands of needles, due to the strength and speed of the attack.

Description: Paper Release: Rain Of Death is a Ninjutsu technique used by the Tetsumi Clan. Without hand seals, the user will have their paper form into various shuriken, kunai, paper bullets, spikes, and senbon any weapon known to man. Once they all form into the needed shapes, they will rain them down upon the enemy, in a way like the technique Paper Release: God's Divine Strike. The paper must have already been peeled from the body and floating the air for this jutsu to be performed. This is a two part attack, the first post producing the shapes in the air, and the second is when the paper weapons rain down on the opponent.

Description: Paper Release: Paper Weapons is a Ninjutsu technique used by the Tetsumi Clan. Without forming any hand seals, the user will form paper into various weapons like spears, swords, axes, knives, and any other weapons known. These weapons will be controlled by the user by moving their hands like a puppeteer and will attack the opponent on their own, using various combos to overwhelm the target. If the opponent were to try and cut through the weapons, they could easily reform together. The only real way to take them out is fire or water based elemental attacks.

Description: Paper Release: Paper Spike Prison is a Ninjutsu technique used by the Tetsumi Clan. A jutsu to keep enemies imprisoned, the user will form a large sphere of paper over and around the opponent. From inside, the opponent can't see anything as it is completely dark inside. As an extra protection method the user will make hardened paper spikes going inward inside the prison, threatening to impale anyone who tries and gets close to the walls of the prison. A long ranged technique A-ranked and above can pierce the inside or outside of the prison, but due to the spike physical close range attacks are rendered useless.

Description: Paper Release: Skewing paper Technique is a Ninjutsu technique used by the Tetsumi Clan. The user will rip up some of their paper into little tiny pieces and send it towards the enemy in a flurry of white. Once this is done, they will control the paper to go different directions, chasing the enemy until it makes contact with them. If the paper shards hit the enemy, it will be like getting shot with a machine gun, but with less power, as the piercing ability is less than the Paper Needles. They will however, leave little bullet-like holes in the opponent which are not deep, but when they accumulate become very painful.

The dome can be up to 5 meters in radius in size and can house more than just the user inside of it.

Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed

Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. This makes Kage Bunshin an excellent training method if the ninja has the chakra capacity and stamina to maintain the Kage Bunshin for an extended period of time. This allows the ninja to essentially reduce the time it takes to train and learn with each clone added.

This technique is mainly used for activating your inner fire power, or just to strengthen fire jutsu up a little. This jutsu can also be used for lighting candles, or wicks on lights easier then getting fire, or a lighter. First, the user will flip through the only hand seal and will slowly rim their finger with fire, which can burn the outer layer of the skin if not used properly. Secondly, the user will get almost a ring of fire going down their finger, which will twist back up and start at the tip of the finger. The last part is to slowly erect the fire from the tip of your finger which will slightly burn if tipped. The user will use this for many needs like explained above.

Blooming Lily
Lilium Elita Tetsumi was born, one midsummer night. Mother, Roselyn Adelais, and father, Ashe Tetsumi, were both overjoyed at the sight of their new born daughter, and had been long expecting her. To Roselyn's surprise, Ashe was extremely excited to accept the addition to their family, despite his past wishes for a son. The new father would sit and rock his child while his beloved wife rested. When his attention wasn't directed on Roselyn, he would surely be found playing with Lilium. The new mother was honestly a bit envious of how much attention she seemed to get out of Ashe, but could do nothing but laugh and smile at the fact that the people that meant the world to her were so content. Nonetheless, they were a small, but happy family.
The family lived in a small, but remote village just outside of Konohagakure no Sato, where they grew together. Roselyn stayed at home, tending to the everyday chores, and Lilium. With the newest member of the family, Ashe retired from the path of a shinobi, looking for a safer career path, so that he may support his family, and come home to them every day. He eventually took the job of a messenger, with consideration from his clan. His chore was to deliver important messages back and forth, from villages, clan leaders, and occasionally village leaders. With countries calm for the time, this job seemed harmless, and paid well. Wanting only the best for his family, Ashe couldn't refuse, and started the job shortly after Lilium's first birthday.
His job went well, without a doubt. The family lived happily, with more than they needed to survive. But what made them happiest was the fact that they saw each other each evening, and enjoyed a lovely dinner together. They were never too busy for each other, and with Lilium still growing steadily, there was much to teach her. She was already walking, making mutters of words, and obviously increasingly curious. Lilium often doodled on paper when her parents were busy, or played with harmless paint. She also liked sneaking into the kitchen and snatching a snack or two while her mother was busy cooking. All in all, she was progressing into the real years of childhood, and her loving parents were with her every step of the way.
It was shortly after the age of five, Lilium spoke like an adult now, as strange as the fact seemed, and would always pester her father to join him in his work, claiming she was a grown up too. No matter how much she bothered him on the matter, he always brought up the excuse that travel was dangerous, and that he wouldn't know what he would do if something happened to her. Normally, the spoiled child would run off to pout in her lonesome for awhile. However, after much persistence, this evening, she convinced him otherwise. His job was a simple task, to deliver a rite of passage to a construction worker, so they he may pass through the villages and complete work. He saw no harm in his daughter tagging along, and thought that maybe if she realized how boring the chore really was, she wouldn't bug him about taking her along. Little did he know the fate in which he brought upon himself in bringing her along.
The journey started out nice and easy, just passing friendly travelers along the way, grabbing a bite to eat here and there, and resting so that they may restore their stamina. Unfortunately, for Ashe, Lilium was very much enjoying herself, and the open terrain. The sky was much clearer, and she couldn't help but be interested in the change of scenery, and species of plants that normally didn't grow within the area she lived. She loved it, the traveling, the freedom, and peacefulness of it all. Despite his hopes being shot down within the first few hours, Ashe couldn't help but smile to himself, for he honestly enjoyed her company as well. One may consider it their bonding, but the two got along a lot more than they had originally thought, although they got along just fine to begin with. Ashe told her stories each time they passed something historical, and she would listen as if they were his last words. And just like that, it was all cut short.
Only within a few miles of their destination, a band of thieves, bandits, approached them. Ashe tried to ignore them, and move forward, but the ruffians persisted with pushing him around. Lilium hid behind her father, obviously frightened. Ashe soon became intolerable of their presence, and began pushing them back, protecting his daughter. He had more than enough past experience as a shinobi to defend himself thoroughly, and unleashed a combination of kicks and punches upon the pursuers. Lilium watched in awe, never have seen her father fight before. Unfortunately, that face of amazement would soon turn to a face of horror, for one of the thieves wasn't a mere criminal, but a high ranking Missing Ninja, and a Mokuton user. He summoned forth the trees, and bent them to his will, quickly exhausting Ashe, and pinning him down. Lilium ran to her father in tears, making pitiful attempts to release him from the sturdy grip on the limbs. It was no use, and the Missing Ninja only became more irritated, using his wood manipulation to wrap the branches around her instead. She hung from her arms, dangling from the tall wood. Ashe cried out in pain and anguish, desperate to help his daughter. The overwhelming actions caused her to faint, though he body tattered, it was still intact. Little to her knowledge, even in her unconscious state, her abilities as a descender of the Tetsumi was slowly awakening in her time of weakness.
Paper Roses
As she was trapped within the wood, paper she had carried along with her in her backpack managed to escape, as her unaware mind slowly manipulated the paper into petals, and finally paper roses, set all over the tree. Although paper, their petals were sharp. Before Ashe could push himself any further, in hopes to help his daughter escape and protect her from further harm, suddenly two ninja wearing masks appeared, and swiftly attacked the Missing Ninja. The evil doer was disposed of in minutes, being unprepared for such a battle. Ashe and Lilium had played well in distracting the criminal, though unintentional. After collecting the body, the other masked ninja helped Ashe up, while the mysterious paper petals gradually cut Lilium free. They tended to his wounds the best they could for the moment, and offered to help him to the village nearby, Konohagakure no Sato. However, after they helped him up, he ran for Lilium, stumbling and falling in front of her, as the paper roses finally cut her free, and her limp body fell into his arms.
While the male masked ninja helped Ashe walk to the village, the female carried Lilium's unconscious body. They were hurry to the hospital, as quickly as they could in the circumstances. When they arrived, the two were immediately rushed to a room, and one of the other masked men was sent to bring news of the unfortunate events to Roselyn, and bring her safely to her family. Later, Ashe was informed that the Missing Ninja was a bounty hunter, and he had probably heard of his wealth as a member of the Tetsumi clan, and his successful career, and cherished family. The masked men then informed him that there were more of them, and they were likely to strike again, especially in hopes of vengeance on their fallen friend. It struck fear into the heart of the man, as he glanced over to his daughter's wounded body as she was treated. The men offered their help in tracking down the remaining Missing Ninja, and suggested that if his concern was for his family, that maybe it was best that he stay in the Tetsumi clan quarters of Konohagakure no Sato. He had no other choice, and as soon as Roselyn arrived, they discussed their plans, and what would be best for their beloved daughter.
It was agreed upon that Ashe would return to the main house of the Tetsumi clan quarters, while Roselyn would take care of Lilium in their new home in Konohagakure no Sato. While the family would be able to visit each other on occasion, they would still be safe of the Tetsumi clan name, and their sudden move would provide the masked men, now revealed as ANBU, to track down the criminals, and make their move. Lilium awoke after two days, still regaining memory of the tragic events, and often entering anxiety attacks due to the overwhelming emotions. After a few weeks, she finally restored her past mental and emotional structure, coming to a full understanding of the situation, and going home, to her new home.
Although she knew her parents were deeply worried for her safety, she still had a difficult time, personally, accepting her new place of living. It was a lot busier than the small village she was used to, and there were certainly more children. At first she was a bit shy with the new children, but slowly began to fit herself into the crowd, and play as often as she could. Not very many of the children were accepting of her, for she didn't speak much when around them, and she was quite oblivious to most games the other children played often. However, she tried her best to understand their ways, and have as much fun as possible. As time passed, she made a few friends here and there, and shared her love for art with them. They were amazed with her amateur abilities, and a few actually became a bit jealous, and avoided her afterward. This didn't discourage her, for she just felt that it was criticism, and only meant she needed to work harder in becoming a better artist. And what better person than her own father to learn from.
Beauty of Rebirth
Lilium's visits to see her father began to become more and more frequent as time steadily passed, and he tried his best to explain to her that he knew she missed her old home, but this could be a new start for them, and second chance at starting a new life. As a child of only six years of age, of course she didn't understand what he was saying, but she could tell it meant a lot to him, so she remained patient. As she regained full memory of the events that took place months ago, she had many questions for her father. Most importantly, the paper roses. It came as a bit of a shock at first, for he himself, had even forgotten the occurrence in the mess of events. As he recalled everything, he smiled brightly at her. Now she was even more confused, and a bit frightened, to say the least. Obviously, he had a lot to tell, and the thought of such overwhelming information scared her to no end. She couldn't possibly imagine what he had to say.
The first thing he brought up was his clan, and their natural born abilities to manipulate paper. This confused her at first, for she couldn’t picture such a thing in her world. Then again, she remembered she wasn’t as exposed to the ninja world as her father, and she had been going about living a normal life. He explained that when she had subconsciously created those paper roses, it was proof that her abilities were awakening, and that she had indeed inherited his clan’s bloodline. Ashe was quite overjoyed about the fact, because he had thought for sure that she wasn’t going to inherit the abilities, and live a normal life like her mother. Now that he was aware of her mutual abilities, there was much for him to teach her, so that she may harness her gift, and use it to her full potential. As her father told stories of their clan, and what they could do, and have done over the years, she did nothing but sit quietly and listen carefully to every detail. She may have still been young, but she was no less than curious on the subject, and wanted to know the truth about everything, about herself.
After furthering his daughter’s knowledge of the Tetsumi clan, he recommended that if she wanted to train her abilities, that she should consider attending the village ninja academy. He ensured her that if she enrolled, that ever more of her questions would be answered, and it would make training much easier with more knowledge than before. His words being, ‘knowledge is power’, all the time, echoing in her head while he spoke. She couldn’t deny the fact that she wanted to know more, and that she still blamed herself for what happened to her father that fateful day. If she had been stronger, if she could have protected him, he wouldn’t be in the crippled state he was, and her mother, father, and she could all live together. The separation hurt her mother the most, she could tell, no matter how many times Roselyn said that she was okay, that she could take care of herself. Then, another though entered her mind, if she could become stronger, maybe she could get revenge on the ninja that hurt her father, and end this uneasy feud once and for all, by her own hands.
At the age of seven, she was attending the Konohagakure no Sato ninja academy, and training with her father in secret, when she could of course. There had been no news of whether the ANBU had captured the foe ninja, or if it was safe for Ashe to live at home with his family. During this time, Lilium was forced to use her mother’s name, so that she could avoid any unneeded attention at the academy, and when she wasn’t safe at home. The ANBU had already made a strong claim that the reason they attacked Ashe was because of his family name, so they practically forced Lilium to live with her mother, and her name. Visiting was limited to the family now, due to the lack of information they had on the criminal ninja at this time. However, Lilium snuck into the clan quarters as often as she could to visit her father, and deliver words of love from her mother. Whether or not she realized it, Lilium’s role was an important part in keeping her family together, though physically apart.
Embracing Dreams
Lilium Elita Adelais graduated from the ninja academy at the age of eleven, and proceeded to follow her dreams of becoming a strong, and successful kunoichi, so that one day she might dispose of her enemies. She accepted her headband proudly, and attained the title of Genin within her village. Her mother had encouraged her the whole way, and knew that her father had been helping in secret as well. Roselyn happily sent Lilium off to visit her father that night, and tell him the good news. So many thoughts raced through her mind in a blur of mixed emotions. She was more than excited to tell her father what she had accomplished, and that she wanted to continue training her abilities, and push her limits. She was determined to convince him she was strong enough now to learn more than just her basic clan techniques, and that she could protect the ones she loved.
However, when she arrived, she wasn’t the only one to accompany her father. The ANBU were there, and with news that the criminal ninja had slowly been building plans of infiltration over the past few years, observing the village, and developing tactics of breaking into the clan quarters. They had caught one of their lower ninja just outside the gates, and gained this information through interrogation. He was being held captive within the village jail, and they wanted to deliver this news to Ashe. Not only this, but they wanted to reveal their beliefs that the criminal ninja would likely make their move soon, now that their plans had been found out. In order to succeed with their plan, they would have to move quickly, so that ANBU and village ninja wouldn’t have time to interfere. The ANBU would start exploration of the area surrounding the village immediately, but they wanted Ashe to know beforehand, so that he might expect an attack, and be prepared as well.
Lilium had only walked in on half of this conversation, when her father sent the men away, and welcomed her with a smile. She knew something was wrong, but he continued to act as if nothing had changed. For the while, she would play along, and tell him her news. He knew just by seeing her headband, and embraced her in a proud hug. Ashe was sure to tell his daughter how proud he was of her, and that he wasn’t exactly surprised that she had reached such heights, that he always had faith in her. He also assured her that with her new rank, the clan would accept her as their own, and assist in her training. Lilium claimed she wanted to be trained by him alone, but he insisted that she open herself to more possibilities, and accept them as well. She couldn’t argue, so she nodded.
The first few weeks, Lilium was sure to test even her father’s potential. She constantly showed up for training, and now her mother was allowed to visit more often, with the news that the criminals would attack regardless. The family was no less than happy, especially now that they were united again. Ashe still had to stay at the clan quarters, but Lilium and Roselyn were allowed to visit as often as they pleased, as long as they didn’t stay. The only exception they made was for Lilium, now that she was a kunoichi in training, and capable of defending herself, as well as train under the Tetsumi clan. Lilium learned quickly, and her family was with her every step of the way, to encourage her on, and unknowingly remind her of her goal. She was still determined to find the criminal ninja before anyone else, and torture them, just as they did her father. However, they wouldn’t escape, she would kill them. Such dark dreams at such a young age couldn’t bring good, but she would learn this soon enough.
Not even months later, the foe ninja made their attack, just as the ANBU had predicted. However, the village ninja and ANBU weren’t prepared for one of their own to make the attack. One of the criminal ninja had snuck into the village, in disguise as a village ninja reporting back from a mission, obviously having killed the real ninja, and gradually planning destruction on the Tetsumi clan, and most importantly, their revenge of their friend on Ashe. The other criminal ninja made their attack first, directly entering the village, as a distraction, while the disguised made their way to the Tetsumi clan quarters to make example of what would happen to anyone who attacked their kind again. Just as they planned, the ANBU and village ninja were busy with the horde of criminal entering their village. The disguised made his attack swiftly, entering the Tetsumi quarters, and locating Ashe. As he approached the crippled man with intentions to attack, he was stopped by fellow Tetsumi clan members. A few had stayed behind during the disruption, in suspicion that the attack might indeed have to do with the criminal ninja they were warned about before.
Trying their best together, as a team, they tried to fend off the enemy ninja. It was many against one, and the odds were obviously unfair, forcing the enemy to retreat. However, he wasn’t about to leave defeated. Before his grand escape, he managed to pierce Ashe with a poisoned senbon. The clan members hadn’t noticed at first, with the attack being so abrupt, but immediately tended to his wound when they realized. The ANBU and village ninja managed to hold their ground against the attacks, but Ashe was in dire need of medical attention. After much struggle, they were able to get in contact with a medical ninja, but their news was unfortunate. The poison had already made its way throughout his upper body, and they weren’t able to identify the poison right away. He would eventually die, slowly, and painfully, as all his organs shut down, or disintegrated away to the core. That is, if they didn’t find an herbalist, or a cure. It was certainly an unfortunate turn of events.
News was sent quickly to Roselyn and Lilium, and both tried to make their way through the chaos, so that they may be at his side during such difficult times. It was safe to say they were an emotional wreck, and that Lilium was surprisingly calmer than her mother. When they finally did arrive at the scene, Roselyn did her best to try identify the poison they were able to retrieve from the senbon used to attack her husband. While she was at work, other Tetsumi members went in search of any alchemists that may be able to create something to slow the effects of the poison on Ashe’s body. To their luck, an elder member of the Nara clan that was well educated in medicine offered his knowledge, and hastily made his way to the bedridden man. With his years of experience, he was not only capable of creating medicine to slow the process of destruction on Ashe’s body, but determined to find the cure.
While the adults were a mess, Lilium stayed with her father, to keep him company through the pain. Watching him struggle for life the first time was unbearable, but the second time, she somehow kept her cool. On the inside she was deeply worried of course, and again blamed herself for the position he was in. This incident only reminded her why she needed to become stronger, and refueled her will to learn more of the ninja way, and fight for what she loved. She sat quietly at his side, finally managing to reach out to hold her father’s pain, to remind him she was still there. However large his hands, she was still able to grasp his finger, and get him to relax the best he could in the current situation. Lilium knew if he didn’t stay calm, that the increased circulation of blood throughout his body would only spread the poison faster, and lessen the already small chance he had a living.
The old man barged into the room with high spirits, claiming he didn’t have the antidote, but he did manage to create something to slow the process, and hopefully flush the poison from his body. Roselyn’s eyes filled with joy at the thought that her husband might live, even if it was a little longer. The medicine man explained that he would have to observe Ashe as he recovered, or if he recovered, so that he may create a cure in due time. Nonetheless, it gave them all hope. He started by injecting the medicine into Ashe’s bloodstream, and after that, patience was in order. For days, weeks, even months, he continuously experimented on Ashe, increasing the dose, adding some things here and there, all in hopes to find a cure. After a weary duration of three months, Ashe began to show results of decreased alien pathogens, and minor recovery. The pain had decreased, as the patient claimed, but the damage that was already done was permanent. He lost a great deal of ability in the left side of his body, as the poisoned senbon had pierced his left arm. Ashe had limited movement in his left hand, and stressed to move his left arm the slightest bit. He remained to have the same movement in his legs as he did before, which was also stressed, considering he was practically crippled by the first attack of the foe ninja.
As even more months passed, and Lilium finally reached the age of thirteen, she attended a ninja squad. She didn’t become particularly close to any of her teammates, and in fact, didn’t really care to remember their names. However, not to say they cared to remember hers either. She was the quiet one. She got the job done as it was asked, and continued to the next mission. While her teammates were out celebrating completion of their tasks, she was training with her father. Although the foe ninja’s threat may have died, her determination to become a strong and successful kunoichi did not. It was her goal to become strong, so that she may protect the ones she loved.
Fulfilling Life
After years more of training, she finally gained the confidence that she was strong enough to take on the Chuunin Exams with, or without her fellow teammates. During those years, while she grew even further apart from her fellow shinobi, she grew even closer to her father. He went as far as to teach her almost everything he knew, making exception for clan techniques he didn’t think she could quite handle yet. Ashe was rather impressed with her potential, although she was his daughter. He could tell that she had grown more mature over the past years, and that she was finally coming to a full understanding of the ninja way, just in her own terms. To say the least, he was very proud of his growing daughter. It was him who eventually suggested to Lilium that she participate in the Chuunin Exams. Though she knew she could take her father’s word, she took another year to train before taking the exams.
The first part of the exams wasn’t her cup of tea, but it wasn’t exactly difficult for her either. She managed to answer half the questions herself, and got bored with the rest, and ended up leaving them blank. Lilium only needed to get so many right to pass anyways, and she was sure the questions she had answered were correct. Fortunately for her, she passed, though she missed two of her questions by simple miscalculation. The test was just to see how many were actually determined enough to either answer the questions, devise a plan to cheat without being caught, or go about their own route of things. Those who managed to deceive the proctors, passed. She and a good many other ninja continued to the second part of the exams. A simple survival test, that was how she looked at it. She didn’t even care to attack anyone, just stealthily stole the opposite scroll, and made her way to the gates. Easy.
When the final half of the exams came around, her adrenaline began to rush, as her body filled with excitement that she would get to face an opponent of equal rank in a one on one battle. She wouldn’t have to depend on teammates, or worry about multiple foes. All she would have to do is keep an eye on the enemy, and strike at the appropriate timing. This was her time to shine, her chance to show off all her hard work, and live up to her clan name; she wasn’t about to lose. She would be the third battle, so she had plenty of time to relax and strategize. Opponents were unknown, until the battle, so coming up with a plan wasn’t exactly easy. She had to consider all the possibilities, and would likely lose her cool if she thought too much into. Instead, she decided to watch the two battles before her, as a distraction.
Time passed quickly with the crowd’s anticipation, and before she knew it, her time was up. Her opponent was male, and by the looks of it, proficient in Taijutsu. With this in mind, she knew that most of his techniques would be close range. This could either prove disastrous, or advantageous. With her proficiency being Weaponry, and long range, she could either keep him back with simple throwing weapons, or remove a more advanced blade from her scrolls for close combat. However, if he was speedy, and managed to dodge all her weapons, it would be pointless, and she would likely fail to catch him off guard. Her second option was also very risky, considering his close range skills would likely outrank her own. Thoughts of many possibilities passed through her mind as she finally reached the bottom of the stairs, and entered the arena to face her opponent. And all thoughts disappeared when the fight began, and her mind was occupied with taking action, rather than planning them.
Their battle ended up lasting the longest, as both seemed well matched for each other, and during the first fifteen minutes, they couldn’t even land a hit on one another. The fight didn’t end with injury, surprisingly, but simply fatigue. The two fought for a full hour, trying to outmatch the other, and take their opponent down. Eventually, her opponent became so fatigued, he lost consciousness. Victory was handed to her, though it didn’t seem deserved. She accompanied the medics in carrying the boy to the clinic for rest, and actually stayed with him until he woke. When he finally came to, he knew he had lost the match. Before he could say anything, she complimented his fighting, and ended their small conversation with a smile. Little did she know, she was impressed with his fighting, and respected his amount of determination, that may have even outranked her own determination.
She wasn’t surprised when they both were promoted to Chuunin, and yet again, made sure to tell him how much he respected him as a fighter. It was only due time that the two became friends, Lilium actually working together with him, and training with him when they weren’t on missions. With the new rank of Chuunin, and newly gained respect throughout the village, she continued to follow her dreams…

- As soon as the sun rose, peeking through her window, and shedding some light in her dim room, the setting seemed to take on new colors and shades. It wasn't long before the rays reached her closed eyes, forcing her to open them. She sat up, like every morning, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. It was always the same - staying up late, and sleeping in. However, this time she seemed to have woken a little earlier than usual, and for this she wondered why. As she got out of bed, and made for the kitchen to prepare herself a healthy breakfast, she slowly came to realization of her change of sleeping habits. Summer was approaching - beautiful, warm summer. The season always seemed to bring pleasant weather, and with it, appealing scenery all around. With spring coming to an end, all the flowers were in full bloom, and at their most lively. She could already imagine the world outside her front door, just waiting for her to take a step into this world of vibrant color. The thought alone made her shiver in excitement, the beauty she would behold on this fair day. So she lightheartedly finished a small, yet nutritional breakfast, and ran to her room for a change of attire.
With the new season, came a change of wardrobe. She would be wearing lighter colors now, to keep from getting too hot, and to compliment her environment so that she might blend right in. Today she wore a light purple, short sleeved hood over a white tank top, with jean shorts, and open toed shoes. Lilium was already welcoming the fine weather, and couldn’t wait to actually go out and enjoy it herself. Before she made way to the door, she made sure to grab her backpack full of art supplies, and useful, or otherwise fundamental items. She was completely prepared for whatever the world might throw at her on this bright day. As she successfully made sure all she needed was where she wanted, she walked back down the hallway, to the main entrance of her house, and exited through the front door, locking it behind her. She knew her parents were likely out enjoying the favorable weather, seeing as she hadn’t seen them yet this morning. So to make sure all was intact, she secured the door as she left – a daily procedure, and practically part of her routine by now.
Her footsteps were muffled with the crowd, as she made her way through the busy streets of Konohagakure no Sato. She didn’t exactly have a destination in mind, but was looking for somewhere quieter; more tranquil. Possible scenarios ran through her mind, as she tried to think of a pleasant place to spend her day. The park was likely full of noisy children, eager to play, and enjoy the sun. She could already tell the marketplace was packed, as that’s where most of the traffic was headed, probably anticipating the arrival of imported exotic foods. With it being such a nice day, there was no doubt in her mind that the majority of the village ninja were at the training grounds, if not on a mission. At last, the perfect place to come to mind was Hokage Mountain. Not many people climbed the earthen monument, a |

Details: A small reflective piece of glass. When the ninja wants to avoid putting themselves directly in the possible line of attack, they can use the mirror to peak around corners to ensure the path is clear. It can also be creatively used to reflect a Doujutsu or Genjutsu pertaining to sight back at the opponent, but only with enough preparation.

Details: Small paper bombs, encrypted with seals. This exploding note is a piece of parchment paper which has script on it that serves to facilitate its explosive properties. The ninja can attach the note to another object such as a kunai or log. When the note is set it begins a slow burn which results in a large explosion.
