Missions/Moderator?

As I have no character ideas(for I have no clan, long story), and way to much free time to spend on here, I want to still help out.

So I was wondering if I would be allowed to make missions(I *AM* a Dungeon Master ;] ), and then RP as the NPCs/villains that might be them. I figured this allows me to RP, if even for a bit, and I can make missions, so it gives the other players free missions.

Just an idea, and in theory, a win-win kind of thing. If not, I still just troll chat Razz

An idea like this was brought up earlier. I think this could be a great idea if you willing and wanting to do so. Like you said it would allow you to still RP while giving people the opportunity to face a real enemy. I like the idea. If you want to PM me with more detail we could perhaps go over the idea together and I could whip something up. Smile

how about people with approved chars? can they serve as mission managers? that would be cool. I would like to volunteer too.

I understand that Role Play moderators will be given the task of Dungeon running from what I understand in this topic.

I would like to say that I am very much interested in doing this at some point as well, if not as an actual Dungeon master, but as a simple NPC that would be cool too.

I do have a few questions though, if these are answered somewhere else please direct me to said post/topic/section.

Purpose of Missions? Is there a reward?
Personal Missions, do they count for anything? (I.E. wanting your character to "Grow-up" not "rank-up" but "Mature" i guess. Learn something, etc.)
Where can I apply to be a Role play mod?
Are Missions required to have 1 Jounin/3 Genin, or is there a chance of some changes to it, like 9 Jounin and 12 genin (Just numbers off the top of my head)

Adding onto what Faith said about rewards, I think the Medal System from 1.0 should be brought back. It gave people a purpose to roleplay, and made them want to try different things in order to achieve such medals. So, I'm all for the notion which is being discussed.

The medals were just praise, this is what the Spotlight section is for now. Though I'm all for the occasional idea like US Roleplaying Awards, like an OOC event where we recognize these things every three months or so.

You require missions to rank up, you need a certain amount of Mission Points and a certain amount of Ranking Points.

I'm not really sure what you mean, official missions are designated by the Hokage, but you could request a certain kind of mission if you created it?

I hope thats hypothetical a mission with that many ninja would never work out, but no you don't need an official team to go out on a mission, although a Genin cannot really venture out by themselves and of course cannot participate in higher ranked missions without higher ranked Ninja. Of course this would fall into the Hokage's thoughts on this in an in character perspective. Elder Sage's character might not approve of youngsters partaking in very dangerous missions outside the village despite who they are accompanied with.
