| She needed...strength. Or was that even the right term? Strength wasn't literally her strong point, and wasn't what she cared about developing either. To be specific, what she needed to increase was accuracy, chakra control, that sort of thing. She preferred not to get in close and rely on things such as taijutsu, and instead all things ranged...especially her ice release. But either way, the fact remained, she needed to increase her abilities. Oh she had been "training" every day for the past few weeks, but that wasn't exactly what she was looking for. She wanted to let loose, she wanted to go through every jutsu, combination, and technique she could possibly think of. With her ice, to do so would be rather destructive, and she couldn't see Konoha appreciating that very much. She sat in her room, fully clothed in her regular black tank-top and black pant outfit, feet on the floor and elbows on her knees as she bent slightly over. She was thinking...thinking about what to do. Where could she go to really let herself loose? Where could she go in order to be completely alone with nothing valuable nearby to be potentially destroyed? She pretended to be pondering this idea alone, but the truth was, she already knew. It was simple. She could take a walk out of the village and into the surrounding forest, go out a few ways, and practice there. No one watching, and plenty of targets. The problem was...she was actually nervous. Was she allowed to just stroll out of the village willy nilly? Well, perhaps if she explained to the guards what she was doing, she could. Surely they would understand, people have done it before right? Yes of course, it would be no problem. Nothing bad would happen. For being so uncaring and passive about almost anything, one of the only things she could get worried about was authority, or breaking rules. For one, she understood she walked on a fine line being from Kirigakure, and it wouldn't take much to find reason to just get rid of her. For another...perhaps she just did not want to insult anyone, especially her own family by doing so.
With a sigh, she stood up and stared straight ahead, straight at her wall. It was rather early, dawn basically, though she had already been up for quite awhile. She wondered if her parents were beginning to wonder if something was up with her, and to that, she actually snorted, an amazingly emotionless gesture for some reason, almost like she just breathed sharply for a moment. For some reason, she took a few moments in her room to do a few stretches. Still, even after trying to convince herself, she was worried, and it seemed as though she was procrastinating on the matter. When she got done she gave an aggravated sigh and closed her eyes, trying to will herself forward over and over. Finally, she opened them, and they looked even blanker than usual, with even less emotion. She took the first few steps out of her room and into her house's living room, where her mother greeted her. As usual, her father was out on a mission, being ANBU and whatnot, and they exchanged a few words. The two of them didn't really talk as much as they used to, and she could tell just by looking at her mother that this saddened her a bit. While she continued to look as uncaring as ever, she actually gave her mother a small "I'm sorry..." and walked out the door. When it came to being emotional, especially with her mother, she had always been rather vague and obscure with what she said. Her mother was of course used to it, and she could only hope she understood what she meant. She made a mental note to really sit down and talk with her mother again sometime, but unfortunately that day was not today. She had something she needed to get done. She had to get this itching feeling out of her before it became too much.
She was out in the streets rather quickly, and looked around. She had gotten out much later than she was used to, and there were more people running around than she was used to. She was sure this wasn't going to be a problem, so took off towards the gates without saying anything or looking at anyone in particular. It was still early, and maybe even a little foggy, and therefor somewhat chilly as well. She loved the feeling of cold against her bare skin though, which was but one reason she preferred to wear summer-type clothes all the time. As for the black color, she had always loved black more than anything, for she had always liked dark things. Not only that, but it was a pretty good contrast against her completely ghost white skin. She made her way to the gates without even making eye contact to anyone, not even those who looked at her as though she was a ghost. With all the tanned people living here, it wouldn't be hard to say she stood out like a sore thumb. She cared little though, and before long, was upon the guards. She explained to them that she wanted to do some training outside of the village, for a change in environment and to not endanger anyone. They didn't really understand the last part, her being just a Genin and everything, but nonetheless she was permitted to go. She explained that she would stay relatively close as she left, disappearing into the trees. As soon as she did, she took off at a slow jog without going too far exactly. She wanted to quickly make some distance before letting completely loose. She eventually came to a stop...but instead of getting right to it...for whatever reason she decided to sit down on a rock, cross her legs, and close her eyes, almost as if waiting for something. Perhaps she just wanted to meditate before beginning... |

| She found herself in the woods. Which deep down startled her, wasn't she just recently in a bustling city? Or was in the hot springs...? She didn't remember. Truth was..she didn't pay attention to time. Time had become unimportant to her. She now lived day to day. And these days flowed together harmlessly. No one really came after her, no one tried to hurt her. She was disconected from the present and wasn't quite sure what day it was. The fact that she didn't remember what day it was saddened her more than anything. Her parents death anniversary could have passed and she not know it. Slowly she clutched herself, her emotions welling up again. Why..? Why them...? Sadness. This time it was more deep and profound. It hit her like a bag of bricks, yet it wasn't surprising. She always got like this when she thought about her parents. How could her own village do this? She understood why they did that to her father, but her mother? Her own mother. She was just a bystander. Innocent in her eyes.
And so, clad in her unusual garb, she walked aimlessly among the woods. Her teary eyes taking in the breath taking scenery. It was so warm, the heat was licking her skin, hugging her body tight. "It has been a long time..." she mumbled to Aisu. As always he was right be her side , her ever faithful companion. They made an odd pair they did. She was short and slightly pale, her pink hair up in her pigtails. Anyone that came by, if they did so far out, they would instantly see her and her bright colors. And that happy smile she seemed to carry around, quite unerving. But Aisu? He was starting to take after his more wolfish side. Which didn't bother her, she naturally liked things that were wild and un domesticated. All too soon the moment change. Aisu had tensed up, his ears alert. "Oh...?" She asked him. He shocked her from her train of thought, well if she was thinking. She spent quite a lot of time looking curiously at him wondering what he was up to. Then he gave her the strangest of lookes and spend off. "Aisu!" She shouted while dashing after him. What now.... A weird feeling over came her, and she noticed it as his feelings, his presence. Without thinking, she ocused her senses on him, and the surroundings. They were merging slowly, and all too soon she was running on all four so to speak.
In the near distance she saw him sitting in this small but crowded clearing. His fur bristled, his movement jerky. It was his eyes that made her stop inches before him. His eyes held sadness. It took her just a brief moment, and in that moment her sense of smell opened up. Eyes widening, she stood up in shock glancing around her. The smell. So familiar. She could smell the foods off in the distance, and maybe her clan home. How could she forget? Her throat became tight, constricted. She was near that village. She was near Konoha. And then her eyes drank up the scene. It had changed some since the last she been here. That night when she ran away with her father. Overgrown it was, but it held that strange peacefulness as it had in the past.
Unknowingly her hand crept to her headband that rested on her right arm. The unmistakeable slash was there, marking her as an outsider. Oh how she longed to go back inside! Not for her village, but her clan, her family. That wanting feeling washed over her. And she hated it. Hated what has happened and how things were going. Her claws came out as well as her teeth showing her rage. Likewise Aisu was feeling the same as he let out a low but brief howl.
There they stood. Ninja and dog, grasped in their sudden hatred. Willing for anything, something to happen.

| She could hear her own breathing as it slowly went in and out, in and out. It was a calming, peaceful sound that induced a similar feeling. It was somewhat strange how much she liked the idea of meditating like this so much. The first time she tried it, her mind was screaming at her about how illogical it was, how much time it was wasting. But as she continued to do it, she realized that doing so actually hightened her senses and cleared her mind which was actually more full than one might think. By doing so, it allowed her to function better than if she had not at all, and therefor accomplish more than she would have without. She remained sitting there for quite some time, mind completely cleared of anything at all, completely at peace. Suddenly, her eyes snapped open, she extended her arm into the air, summoning a body of water to spawn from the ground and move upwards at an angle and then freeze fast enough that it was almost hard to see it become water at all. The ice took out two trees in front of her, and she stared at it for a moment. This was good...she was getting better, bit by bit. She had managed to freeze the water with record time from when she tried it last, even though that was quite awhile ago. She was also satisfied with the fact she had been able to do it at all. It meant that the trip out here had been worth it, that she got to train some of her more destructive jutsu. She nodded at the thought and looked around. She was in something of a clearing, and the water had extended rather far, to the edge of it, which was good. Oddly enough, she had the urge to try it out on a live opponent, though she knew she could not go looking around and just ask someone for a fight to do so. It was against her morals to fight without reason, and to satisfy a want of hers wasn't really a good enough reason.
She was about to get ready to move on to something else, when she looked at the ice she had created. She looked at it for a very long time, blank eyes scanning over it coldly. That feeling she had back in her house, that nervous feeling, she still couldn't shake it. Here she was, doing what it was she wanted, and for some reason she wasn't satisfied yet. She was still tense for something, though couldn't figure out what it was even still. She let out a small sigh and looked away from her giant ice slide. Something was missing...she didn't know what it was yet. She decided to go for a small walk, and perhaps clear her head some more. She really didn't understand what was going on, why that feeling hadn't left her yet. She was out here, in the middle of nowhere, no one else around, and practicing her techniques she hadn't gotten to in so long. Isn't that what she wanted the whole time? Wasn't that the whole point of coming out here?
She closed her eyes again, when all of a sudden she heard something. It was a low howl, not very loud, though audible because it was nearby. Suddenly, she was tense. That sound sent a new kind of chill up her spine that she didn't understand. She jumped into the trees of the clearing and silently made her way through them until she reached another, more crowded clearing. She sat, covered behind leaves for a moment while she observed the area. Soon, her eyes fell upon a strange couple. It was a girl around her age...and a dog sitting beside her...or was it a wolf? It had to be the source of the howl. The girl was dressed a little strangely, bright colors and whatnot as oppose to her own dark colors. Even her hair was...pink...that was strange. She hadn't recognized this person, seen her anywhere before. She continued to observe her, and was ready to just forget about her and move on when she noticed something that set her off. She had a headband on her arm but...it had a slash through it. She knew what that meant...
This girl was a Nukenin, and suddenly her eyes went wide. That feeling in her gut that had been annoying her for so long suddenly exploded in anxiety, and slowly started to numb away. Her mind flew back years into the past to the day she heard about an academy student leaving the village behind, somehow managing to get away. The feelings of curiosity that she felt that day ignited within her, and then her mind fast forwarded to this morning, and the feeling she felt sitting in her bed. It wasn't nervousness that had been plaguing her for so long, it was a form of twisted hope. Hope that she would come across exactly what she just had...a Nukenin. Someone who had left their village behind. She wanted to know someone like that, she wanted to meet someone like that. She had to, in order to satisfy her own curiosities. It was in that moment she knew why she was so afraid of the authorities in doing this. If any of them ever discovered that she had conversed with a Nukenin and let them get away without even putting up a fight, bad things would happen. But hopefully...hopefully it would all be worth it.
She was at a loss of what to do now. Could she just approach the two of them? They looked a little worked up at the moment, like something was wrong. It wasn't in her nature to just walk up to someone and introduce herself, not at all. But then again, she had never actually wanted to talk to someone as much as she did just now. She was torn at what to do, but she also didn't feel as though just jumping out of the tree in her face wasn't exactly practical either. She was at a loss of what to do. She decided to jump down from the tree onto the ground, still hidden by shadows, and slowly begin to walk out. When she did so, she would notice the girl standing there, and look at her intently again. She wasn't very good at starting conversations after all, and therefor would pretend to be tensed at her sight, despite looking completely bored. She never once thought about the fact that the Nukenin might be hostile. Hopefully she wouldn't come to regret that. |

| Soon the atmosphere had changed. And of course Aisu had noticed it first. He had stood up and began to walk in a circle around her, pacing as if waiting for something to happen. Her eyes, still angered, observed his form. Something was obviously bothering him, perhaps he remembered were they were? He should.. it was a big night for them after all. She kept her senses on track, even while in a bad temper. Anyone could attack her while this close to her village. Her body moved slowly forward, inching her way through the wooded area.
Deep growling was what she heard first. What strange behavior Aisu was showing today. But she knew what this meant. Some one, or something was near. And that gave her some fear. Being 'alone" with a person wasn't her cup of tea. The last person she was alone with was her dad. Since then shes always en surrounded by the people she passed by in villages or just alone with Aisu on their travels.
Her nose twitched first. A new scent had made its way into their area. Strange...she hadn't heard anyone approaching. Mentaly she shook herself, I should know better to pay attention by now... Aisu had moved to a place behind her, his eyes searching that area. "What is it..?" She asked him, hoping to recieve an ok answer from him. To an outside observer it would seem as if he just shook his head in response, but to her through their bond, she felt what he was trying to say.
Someone was approaching. Slowly in fact. Which puzzled her to no end. If they were going to attack, why not do it now? Or..should she make the first move? Her mind was in a sad state of confusion..what if it was just some kid that got lost or something? Still she had to be safe. So carefulyl turned around and faced the direction Aisu was looking at. Her head tilted and she let her eyes drift shut. This way she could hear slightly better.
For awhile she stood there, waiting and listening. Her breathing slow...even though her anger still radiated from her. Then she heard it. It was a faint sort of noise.. it sounded as if someone and touched the floor, well grass in this case. In an instant she crouched low, her wolf mimiking her. Her fingers moved quickly and drew out six senbon needles, and held three in each hand between her fingers, as if they were claws themselves.
Her breath became shallow, eyes scanning the area in front of her. This pair had become oddly still for ones wrapped up in rage. Maddness made her unpredictible. Waiting..And waiting. The seconds ticked on.
What will happen now..?

| As it turned out, for someone so emotionless and blank, Marina was actually quite a good actor. Even with her constantly bored eyes and look, upon pretending to see the girl for the first time, she faced her in a tense position with one foot behind her and bent slightly, hand hovering over the senbon kit on her right leg. She pretended to have be caught off guard and ready to strike or retaliate at a moments notice. Her cold eyes did what they did best as the stared at each other, analyze the subject before her. Almost like nothing but a specimen to be examined, she heartlessly scanned over her practically like a robot while keeping herself at the ready. The ironic thing was she was so focused on keeping up the act and observing her now that she actually wasn't very prepared for an actual attack. Probably a foolish move on her part, but she was just so interested at the moment. If an attack were to come, she would probably find herself panicking for a moment, though it was doubtful she would get seriously injured. At any rate, she put on a good act, and for someone so blank she probably looked rather intimidating...depending on the character.
She took this moment to observe the girl now that she was closer to her. She was...small, she could really see that now that they were up close. She thought she was pretty small, but this girl proved her otherwise. Regardless, it was clear that she was the same age as her, or at least close. She also looked very mature too, as though she had seen enough of the world to be at least five years older. She noticed again the way her hair was pink, and her choice in clothing was different yet somehow...interesting. She liked it for some reason, though it was practically impossible to tell she gave anything remotely close to a care about anything regarding her. It was about this time that she saw her looking at her headband tied around her arm, and in response she looked at hers. It was nearly identical...save for the slash through it. As innocent and cute as this girl looked, she was the real deal. She would have wondered why she had never met this person in her youth due to their close age, but she didn't actually grow up in Konoha, so it was clear.
Finally, they locked eyes...a strange feeling. For some reason when she did so, she became extremely aware of her own self. What she looked like, how she was presenting herself, all of that. She suddenly became self-conscious when she looked into her eyes and vice versa. It was strange, she didn't know if the self awareness and concern came from representing her own village, or representing herself as an actual person. Nonetheless, her own expression remained as cool and unwelcoming as ever. She watched her tilt her head to the side, almost like a canine. That thought had her thinking about her companion that stood next to her, though she didn't look at it. This person...did she belong to a clan? She got the distinct feeling that she did, though she couldn't decide which.
Finally, the message of her action hit her. She wasn't going to say anything, and like her, had chosen to let her body language do the speaking for her. This made her uncomfortable, as she hated speaking unless absolutely necessary, but even more than that she disliked having to say the first word. She wasn't a very sociable person, and this situation was even worse. In most cases, she wouldn't care what she sounded like to the person, but she did to this. First impressions here were very important. But again, she couldn't determine whether that was because of her fascination with Nukenin, or something else entirely. Something about her fascination seemed inaccurate of an explanation, but she had no idea what the other could be. Either way, she let go of the false tension in her body, and could visibly be seen relaxing as she came to stand up straighter, but not completely, legs still partially apart. She decided for now to play the part of a Konoha ninja. For now. Her voice stayed cool and almost robotic. It contained no inflection, no intonation. Accordingly, it contained no bias to suggest one thing or another in her words. It was a pure question down to its core. "Who are you?" |

| Soon this girl stood up, only slightly. Inside she couldn't help but sigh at the beauty she had. So simple yet so mystifying. She wondered what this girl was, how she was like. Simply she was now curious. Curiosity had her. Now that its claws were in her, she would have to find out. Curse her canine feelings. Because of that she wanted to know more. More than what was probably needed.
In response to her, she herself stood and tucked away her senbon. Unlike the girl who still looked as if she was some what ready to attack, she relaxed all the way. If she didn't attack her, a nukenin, then when would she? The normal thing to happen was attack then talk later. Well normal. This girl wans't normal, that she could tell.
Then she spoke! Her words so very cold. Her voice was stiff and stone like. A glismp of her actual personality, perhaps? And her question didn't put her off in the least. "Who am I?" She asked aloud. Then smiling she bowed only slightly. "Inuzuka, Rysa." Smilply said, simply stated she looked at the girl. Her eyes for some reason apprasied the young taller lady. Softly she asked, "Who are you?" ever so softly in her usual voice. Not hiding much, trying to appear open. Her feet slowly started walking closer. Closing the gap between then. |

| After speaking, Marina realized that the girl herself had completely released any tension she might have had, and was now completely relaxed, despite even her still somewhat tensed demeanor. She let herself loosen up at this point and upon realizing this, but still not completely all the way. It was partially her intention to relax completely, as it was never her intention to attack in the first place, but some tension remained from her training. It was natural instinct, especially for a shinobi, to remain on guard or at least alert at all times, especially when conversing with a stranger. In truth, she wasn't even aware of this, as it was pretty much entirely subconscious, but it was actually visible as well. She continued to look directly at her after doing this, waiting for her response with hidden anticipation. She wanted to know what this person was called, not only so she would know how to address them, but it would reveal all kinds of information. If she was of a clan, it would answer her previous curiosity. She also might have heard it at SOME point in her stay in Konoha, so maybe she would recognize it. All of that out of the way though, she was just genuinely curious. Indeed, her long lived fascination with shinobi who have left their village behind ran deep within her. Deep enough to feel things she hadn't before, or at least with more intensity, and even express herself in ways she usually didn't. And all to a complete stranger. She could have been an obvious thug who had thus far attempted to abuse her in one way or another, and her interest and curiosity would most likely be the exact same.
In little to no time at all, her question was answered. At first she repeated her question, though simply. It was a sign of her personality, and it could say alot about it when combined with other aspects of her actions, but alone, it inferred nothing. At any rate, she quickly answered the question fully by giving her name. When she did this however, she gave a smile and bowed. She inferred by these two actions that she was most likely a kind person who liked to make sure those she was with were comfortable with her. It was either that, or she was playful, or enjoyed teasing others by taking advantage of her own cuteness and appeal. Which one she wasn't sure, but she didn't really look into either one of those possibilities too much. To do so would cause her to become somewhat biased in how she acted in the future, and that was something she did not want to do.
Not long after answering her question, she repeated it again, but rather than re-asking it to herself, it was directed at her. This time, rather than a rather simple voice, she spoke a bit softer and possibly more casual, like she was getting used to her presence or company, shifting more into her actual self. Perhaps that was an over-analysis, but analyzing every aspect she noticed in new people was something of a habit for her. She could tell she was trying to be open, possibly even friendly. She also started slowly moving forward, an action that could again reinforce either of her two mentally proposed evaluations. She again decided to not take it one way or another, however her kind voice had caused her to drop any guard she might have had before. Still a foolish thing to do, as it would not be unheard of for her to slyly make her way up close and stab her in the back. Marina was expressing a weakness in her guard that otherwise would never happen, and for her own sake, it was hoped that this girl, Rysa, was not secretly hostile.
Her eyes followed her as she got slowly closer, though how close she intended to get, she was unsure. She let her body relax slowly, standing more straight yet still not completely. If there were any lingering elements of her previous act of being on guard and cautious here, it was in her eyes. Unintentionally due to how blank and cold they simply always were, just by looking at her she upheld a possible feeling that she was constantly watching her to make sure she didn't try anything, even if this wasn't actually the case. After she took a few steps, she responded to the question rather simply, with the same voice as before. The same voice she always used."Marina Yuki." Unlike Rysa, she chose to speak her name normally, rather than the surname before her actual name. She wasn't really sure what was going to happen next, so instead focused on whether or not she would say anything, but also if she stopped walking. Yet another unexplained phenomena of her own mind, she was paying particular attention to how close she ended up getting... |

| Well, a lovely name for a beautiful young lady. "Marina.." she said to herself, loving the sound. Sadly this female still looked stiff, even though she appeared to relax. She sighed, slightly annoyed. It had become clear that Marina wasn't going to open up anytime soon. So reserved..so quite. Not that she was complaining, she liked it. Better than being loud. Meters..then feet, the gap kept on getting smaller with each step. Taking time, her eyes flickered ove Marina again, observing her. Making sure she herself was doing nothing wrong.
Inches. Only inches now. Marina gave no signs of leaving, not that she gave any to begin with. They now stood close, so close. If she moved her hand slighty, she would be touching the girl. Tilting her head up, how she hated being short.., she looked at Marina. It was an oddly love like gesture, being as close as they were. Smiling slightly she questioned her, "Now...Marina.." The chills her name gave her! Oh! This girl was effecting her strangely...slowly. She wants sure why, but she could tell. "Marina.." she repeated, "What bring you here? Outside of the...village..".
Maybe she was over doing things. Being so close. But that was her, it was natural for her to be friendly. Unless you annoyed her beyond what was right. That and she wanted to know more about this cold girl. Yuki...Her father had mentioned it to her once. Yuki...that wasn't from this village. So she must have come from someplace else. Or her parents moved. Something like that. Anyway, she did fit the name in a roundabout way. Yuki was snow, she was sure. And snow was cold..Ice like. Which was how Marina was acting. Cold, unapproachable. But ice breaks sooner or later. That she knew. Marina has so far lived up to her last name. So it was easy to see that she would break or rather open up soon. |

| She observed her ever so coldly as she came closer and closer. Like her, she waited a few steps before actually speaking. As a matter of fact, she got very close. Very, very close. They were literally only inches apart, perhaps only three. They were practically touching, save for a sliver of space between them that could barely be seen anyway. She had to look down due to Rysa's shortness, though this was something that bothered her little. As she had come closer, the sliver of tension left in her became less and less, until she was standing completely relaxed, looking at her. Even her eyes seemed to lighten up a bit, though that wasn't to say any actual life came to them. They were still as blank as always, almost judging one could say as she looked down at her. This had take a strange turn of events...getting so close like this. The only person who had ever gotten this close was either an opponent or one of her parents, and even then it was like a forced hug. Yet, regardless, it had not necessarily gone in an undesirable direction. No, it wasn't expected, but it wasn't...uncomfortable either. Awkward perhaps, but in a way that didn't make that much of a difference one way or another. She could hear her breathing and was aware of her own. Their faces were close too, and she could practically feel her breath coming up to brush around her face like a cool winter's breeze. A feeling she found herself actually enjoying.
She spoke now...repeating her name again. She ended up saying it three times before anything else, creating a strange reaction. She had heard her name by many sources, and each time the sound of her own name actually bored her. She didn't care for it any more than she did some random person on the street, yet, this was different. Something about the sound coming from her mouth made it sound different, made her appreciate it in a way she never had before. She loved it. Not only that, but the way she was speaking in general was different now too. It was slower...almost huffy too, due to their close proximity. But she was speaking even softer now, though they were so close, it didn't matter. She could actually feel her eyes looking into hers, though the reaction it gave her she did not understand. Regardless, she represented absolutely no emotion in physical form, looking at her the same as always. Conflicting emotions hiding behind a perfect statue of ice.
She asked her a question now, her voice staying the same as before. She looked at her the same way after she finished, saying absolutely nothing. This person was...fascinating. Everything she felt at the moment she could only interpret as a continuation of that fascination. She wanted to think this interaction was something she could analyze and look over like it was hard data. This is how she perceived it, though she felt as though it was inaccurate. Regardless, it was the only explanation she had, and therefor the only one she could accept at the time. They were so CLOSE. She wanted to touch her so bad, both to freeze her body and take her back to the village to examine more at home, and to just...touch her. A Nukenin...right in front of her...so close...so many things she could ask, and yet...she could not. She was captivated, almost as if the ice of her own exterior was holding both her and her mouth still. Be it fortunate or unfortunate for her, Rysa had Marina in the palm of her hand. She could do next to anything with her. The something of a trance created by her curiosity she was in would cause her to go along with whatever it was she decided to do.
However, these were only internal feelings. On the exterior, nothing had changed. In fact, it might have looked as though she was staring her down, wondering if she should even give her a real answer. On the outside, she was a completely different person. Almost like a natural defense really, to make her look intimidating when inside she was so vulnerable it wasn't funny. Only a Nukenin...right? Whatever the case might have been, she HAD been asked a question, and she needed to answer. She opened her mouth and spoke the same as always, revealing nothing about her confused feelings and unknown submission. She could speak only the truth, however. "Training." Short, simply, true, and to the point. Afterwards, she blinked, a silent gesture that could have inferred that she was asking her the same thing wordlessly |

| "Training..." She repeated bored. Boredom. As Much as she was beautiful, her reactions were not saying anything. How she hated it. And she let it show on her face. Annoyance. Was she not going to get anywhere? She rested one hand on the other females frame. So gently she touched her, rubbing her body slightly. This was different.. Why was she attempting ..to seduce her? Well she wasn't really trying to. But Marina...something about her...called to her.
"Marina.." she wispeared softly, not needing to speak louder. Her coldness, it needed to go. She wanted to make it go away, open her up. Gosh! She just met this girl! Already she was having...feelings? No, not feeling. Well, was she attracted to this female? Wasn't that weird though? Apparently her body didn't care, seeing how she was visibly reacting.
Finally she let her eyes drift away from Marina. "One worded answers aren't good enough." She simply stated hoping that the girl would catch on. Her eyes then closed and her nose twitched a little. She was smelling her, or rather, trying to commit this scent to memory. Which didn't offer her much. "Eh..." Frustration. Too clean.. Too pure. Which was good. But rather bland. She had hoped for more, but that was not the case. Also...she tilted her head again, water? Some where on here the scent lingered .
"Water...?" A silent question. Almost rhetorical, almost but not quite. Well duh. Yuki, water. How could she not make this simple connection? Silly her, being so absorb in this other characters feelings. When was she going to slip? Her eyes lifted once more to hers. Which reminded her..hadn't she made a gesture or something? "I'm roaming of course. I am a...Nukenin after all. Where do I have to stay? No where. So I walk about." There , a long answer. Then she stood on the tips of her toes, brushing her lips against the other form. "Why haven't you left...?" |

| Once again, she repeated what she said back to her. It appeared as though she had a habit of doing that. Though perhaps this only happened whenever her response was, for one reason or another, unsatisfactory. She predicted this might be the case because it seemed to her that so far it had been. One way or another, it seemed as though what she said was in some way undesirable. The most recent occurance was no exception. She stopped and thought about how so far her responses had been both short and bland, not to mention completely boring. Boring in that they were simple, but also in that they expressed a kind of boredom within herself, even if that was not the case at all on the inside. As it turned out, she had gone her whole life acting this way, which would explain why even when truly feeling different, her exterior always remained as cold as possible. Was it some kind of defense mechanism created by her body over the years? To act like a complete and total robot at all times even if she didn't want to? She wasn't sure, all she knew is that it was upsetting her. Now, the big question. Did she care about that? There was so little she had ever cared about, so therefor the answer to that was a very hard one to come up with. For the time being, she would resolve to figure it out later. To contemplate it now would take far too much time, time that she did not necessarily have to give to such thoughts at the moment.
Regardless of whether or not she was truly annoyed by her response and how she expressed herself, that didn't stop her from placing a hand on her. Her touch was soft and gentle, almost motherly. Her consciousness directed all attention towards the interaction without her actually looking at it. On the surface, it would appear as though she didn't even feel it, as though she literally as numb as she appeared. However, underneath, she could feel the warmth of her hand pouring in like a flash flood. It was almost like a melting sensation oddly enough, but even if that meant anything, she could neither understand or express it. It really didn't help her confusion or fascination when she started to rub her slightly either. It was a gesture that could have meant something more, however such things she was rather oblivious to, having never been exposed to them. In truth, even if she wasn't, she was too caught up in her own mind at the moment to have really noticed anyway. She could simply stare at her and make it appear as though her own interaction meant absolutely nothing to her at all.
Not long after, she said her name again, and the simple act had her breathing in through her nose deeply, but silently, as if she was breathing in the sound again. What was it about the way she said her name that made it sound so different? She managed to do it every time, no matter how she said it, no matter what emotions were behind it. She could tell though, she was going into something to express exactly why she was displeased with her previous answer, and it almost made her feel guilty in a way. It was about that time that she looked away, and the connection between their eyes finally broke away. She blinked, and all of a sudden she was surrounded by intense cold. She hadn't noticed it before, but her body had actually been warmed by her sight, yet when it was removed, an intense cold settled in. Was it the cold of her own existence and personality? After all, you never know what you have until its gone, or in her case, you never what your actually doing until you stop and then start again. She was almost surprised at how cold it was. The chill spread through her whole body, save for the place where her hand was still located. That location still held a stream of warmth that gently pulsed through the nearby areas of her body, though unfortunately dying short before being able to go too far. What followed while she looked away was a disappointed frown. Ever so small, it was still a change in her facial expression that had so far remained as completely blank as possible. The coldness...it was lonely. She could see that now.
She finally spoke again, and she realized what it was that had been bothering her in particular about her previous answer. She wasn't surprised to find that she thought it was inadequate, she had predicted that, but she also inferred from her tone that she was somewhat frustrated in her inability to make her act out or act any differently than she already had. She couldn't say she didn't feel the same way though, at least now. Up to this point, she had never cared about how cold and uncaring she appeared as, but it wasn't something she could so simply control. As displeased as she was, she didn't intend on changing her answer, but rather resolved to at least make more complex answers to any following questions, again probably giving off the impression that she didn't care if her answer wasn't long enough. Then she noticed something that took her off guard for just a second. Her nose was twitching as though she were...sniffing her? But of course, she was an Inuzuka, they did that. It was always interesting to see how much like their canine counterparts the Inuzuka acted. She honestly wondered what it was she smelled, and her initial reaction came to show that she was once again displeased. But then she saw a change in that demeanor, as though she smelled something she hadn't before, which instead interested her rather than displeased her.
She saw her mouth move, as if silently saying what it was she thought she smelled, but never actually said it. She wasn't very good at reading lips, especially not sideways. She didn't pursue it however, just let the matter be. Smell wasn't ever something she was concerned with anyway, had to be an Inuzuka thing. She found herself mentally thanking her when she looked back at her, because the ice that had taken hold of her was melted away all at once. She even felt less stiff and more relaxed. She enjoyed the feeling, though it did feel foreign enough to be a strange like, or one she felt was awkward but could see herself getting used to. After all, she had lived almost her entire life in that coldness. She was used to and actually liked it a bit.
She finally answered her own question, as she had silently requested before. Her answer was hard data that was directly related to her interest in curiosity in Nukenin, though it was somewhat predictable too. Hmm, she didn't really know what to think of the response. Her suspicions were confirmed at least, so that was something. Then something interesting happened. She elevated herself by standing on her toes to allow her to brush her lips against a part of her body, whispering something to her, another question. It was an interesting one...but aside from that, it caused the heat going through her to intensify. What was with the way she was acting, and the way she was subconsciously reacting to it? She really didn't understand, but didn't have time to figure it out. Well, at any rate, if she was trying to melt some of the ice in her exterior, she managed to just a bit. Her eyes...lost some of their blankness. Oh it was still there, and it was in stride too. However, all Rysa would have to do was looking just a little hard into her eyes to see some of the emotions portrayed in both what she said next, and what she had been feeling thus far, especially at the moment. Without really thinking about it, she moved her head away slowly so that she could look her straight in the eye, allowing her to do so without actually 'pushing' her away. Her voice was the same however, but hopefully the look in her eye would be enough. "Why haven't I left? I have nowhere else to be. I need something to fight for, a reason to utilize the talents of my clan, and so far Konoha is the best way for me to find one." She had never admitted her passion about finding something to fight for to anyone other than her parents, though her statement also made it rather clear that she had, as of yet, not figured out what the reason was. |

| As she touched her, she couldn't really feel the other girl respond. It was as if even her body on the outside was just as cold as her mind. She didn't quite understand why she was like this, acting this way. A normal person would have said stop, and if not that, their body would have said if they enjoyed it or not. Then again she guessed, Marina was not supposed to be 'normal'. Thus far the things she did bought forth no response from her, not even a slight body movement. Then again she, a stranger, was touching her, rubbing her even. It also didn't help that her lips were in an area near her neck, her breath slowly caressing the girls skin. She probably just felt strange for being touched by a stranger. It was with that thought that she went back to her normal hight while gently letting her hand slide down from her body.
Well now she wouldn't touch her. After all being a Nukenin...well there was a slight chance that she may have felt just a little repulsed. She could understand that, and would have even accepted that if it were true. Nukenin were forever dispised by their own village, always hated. It didn't matter what crime they did, in her case her father, they were looked down upon as scum. Scum who needed to be captured or killed. Whatever their age, however they look, their fate was either of three things. They had the choice of running away and evade capture, though always living with that sight fear that their "free" days would end. Or they could be captured, questioned then most likely be put in jail for the remainder of their life or until needed. Lastly they could be killed, which really didn't need to be explained. So touching this Konoha ninja was something near criminal. Who would like being touched by the bad guy anyway? So evading her gaze, she slowly began backing away, putting a few more inches between them.
Then the girl responeded. What an interesting answer. But that wasn't what she was asking in the fisrt place, not that her answer wasn't enjoyable. Something to fight for? Did everyone need one of those? A reason to fight? Not even she had one...not that she though about it anyway. Slightly her ears perked up, barely regestering her tone. "Ah..." So this girl too didn't know. Which was good in away. It meant that she was still searching, if she was anyway. Quietly she chuckled, "I wasn't asking that.." Not finishing she took this moment to glance back at her.
Her eyes first rested upon the base of her neck where she had touched her lips upon. Right now she wanted to be there, nuzzling it. She blinked slowly, why did she? She had no real reason to, the one that she only wanted to think about was that her clan instincts kicked in for a moment. After all, going for the neck made a rather easy kill. She shook herself from any other train of thought but that one. Then slowly her eyes moved upwards from there, traveling ever slowly to her eyes. Something to them had changed, and with a light gasp she saw. She had to focus ever so slightly, but when she did it was noticable. Her eyes had lost some of that coldness, only to be replaced , though not completely , with something else. Confusion pershaps? Well whatever it was she couldn't quite tell yet.
She was greatful though. It was small, but the girl actually did have something in her. A little bit of life. Maybe a lot, but none was readily seen. "Marina..." She loved saying it. Then again she always loved sounds. That and smells oddly enough. She guessed it came from being an Inuzuka. Marina sounded so delightful to say, and secretly she wouldn't have minded saying it even more. "I meant..Why haven't you left here...Why haven't you left me.?" That was her true question. The first one she wanted answered, still she was thankful to get an answer she really didn't ask for. She could tell that Marina really wanted to find that 'something', even if she herself did not want to.

| What was she doing? She could feel and then see her slowly slinking off of her, and then backing away even. She looked at her straightly when she did this, her mind filled with confusion but her eyes filled with a lack of care. While her mind and body screamed 'Don't do that!' her exterior said 'Go ahead, doesn't make a difference to me'. It took almost not time at all after her hand left her that the intense cold settled back into her. It was different this time, it was worse. Last time, she had only looked away with her eyes, still staying close and leaving a hand on her. NOW, not only did she completely disengage from her, but she could tell from the look in her eyes that she was hurt. Everything she had done was like an attempt to connect to her, to express something about her expecting to invoke some kind of response in her, and see it. She did though...she did invoke a reaction, but she neither understood it nor could express it. That look on her face caused a sharp pain to explode in her stomach. But then, the lack of heat that had warmed her body up to that point caused her entire form to go to jelly. She would have fallen down, but the cold literally froze her body. She could not move at all, it was all frozen, her whole skeletal frame even, and the sharp pain with it. You probably couldn't tell, but she could not move an inch on any part of her body, she was encased in ice. Her own ice. She could only look at her with the same coldness that had now completely enveloped her while the intense pain ravaged her body on the inside.
At least she was still able to answer back, and at least her answer seemed adequate this time. Her ears perked up, a motion she was somehow able to notice in her self petrification. The words that soon followed came to explain that her answer wasn't exactly what she was looking for, which she actually expressed. At first, she figured the coldness would intensify even further, because she had given the wrong answer. But even so, it was an answer that interested her, so it wasn't quite as bad as she initially feared. At any rate, she finally looked back at her, and it was enough to melt just a little bit of the ice that had encompassed her, enough to let her breath at least. She didn't look directly at her eyes again, but she was looking at her, at her neck. That was where her lips had been before...and was it longing she saw in her? To be back there again? If so, her suspicions were confirmed yet again. She wanted to continue doing what she had been the entire time, and she wanted her to do so as well, but her inability to express ANY form of reaction at all made her think that she didn't and therefor was keeping her away.
She was confined momentarily to her thoughts again. She was a Nukenin...her secret fascination. Even if this Rysa person was some form of ugly, repugnant neanderthal who went against everything she believed in, she would still be feeling the same way. It was simply the fact that she was interacting with her dream of meeting one, any one, that was causing her to react this way, right? ...Right? The pain in her stomach flared, almost as if telling her something, but again, she could not interpret it. In the state of her intense confusion, Rysa did look back into her eyes, and gasped ever so softly. What? Had she seen something? Was there something other than the endless nothingness of her eyes that she was able to see? At the very thought, her own eyes widened just a fraction, and some more heat was able to return to her, enough to get her moving just a little bit.
She said her name again a little after that. The way she said it...every time, it was like she was addressing her directly before going into what she was about to say, as if making sure she was hearing her. That was a completely formal thing to do, and didn't have to mean anything. Just by the way she said it though, she could tell it wasn't just for that, it was almost like she was doing it to please herself as well, almost as if she enjoyed hearing the name as much as she did. Nonetheless, she could still only listen to what it was she had to say, and prayed that she could react in such a way that would take away that doubt and sadness she had caused to settle within her. The question was said, and it was up to her to answer it. She couldn't have picked a harder question. Why was she still here, with her? The question was both simple and enormously complex. On the surface, it was because she wanted to see a Nukenin, to interact with one. She had already admitted that as her true reason for being out there, right? Yes of course. But...that answer did not fill the hole of confusion that had materialized in her mind, in her being. There was some other reason, but she had been trying to figure it out for a long, long time. How was she supposed to tell her what she herself did not know?
She couldn't stand that look. It wasn't as sad now, but she could see it in her. She wanted to know the answer badly, though probably not as much as her. It was only causing that pain in her stomach to spike even further, so her body reacted. She turned around, turned her back on her. There...the gaze was gone, but she could still feel it burning a hole in her back. She looked down...this probably didn't look like what it actually was. She stood there, the ice still around her like an undesired armor. She wanted to scream, she wanted to thrash around and bellow at the sky, and in her mind she did. But her body...remained stationary until the mental episode was over, looking down at the ground. This was so frustrating! Eventually, it passed. She raised her head up to look straight ahead. It was time to get this over with, time to deny her body. It wanted to make her take steps to leave, leave this person who had influenced her body so strangely behind and never look back, but she did not. She closed her eyes and focused everything on making her answer true, and to put as much feeling into the words as possible, though in the end it would not be very much.
"I...do not know, Rysa." she said at first, making a pause to breathe before going in. "I am a Shinobi of Konoha, and thus your kind is supposed to be eradicated on site. However...that never settled with me. To attack a person without good reason is an idea that disgusts me. Instead, I took a fascination to Nukenin...I always wanted to know why they did what they did, and better yet, what they have decided to fight for. You are one of those people, Rysa, and from the moment I saw you, I knew it was my chance to satisfy my desires." She looked over her shoulder to look back at her, unsure what to expect as a reaction. She looked back at the ground sideways again before working up the courage to actually turn back around and face her completely, going on. "But...Since meeting you, unexpected things have happened. I know you could not see it for my body will not show it, but you've caused me to experience things I never have before, and therefor do not understand what they mean. They are so strange, so foreign, and rather frightening. However I do not dislike them either. In fact, their appearance upon your touch and then their abrupt disappearance upon your retreat has left me petrified with a coldness. So...to answer your question, I suppose the reason is because...I do not want to." She had spoken now more than she ever had in her entire existence, and poured more emotion into it than ever before. Her tone was still rather bare and monotone, however the words themselves and the small amount of inner emotion expressed in them was enough to say that what she said was at least heartfelt, and not a lie.

| It was when she turned away that the feeling of rejection set in. After all this time, was she actually right? Did she in fact feel annoyed by her touch? The hurt came quickly. By turning around, had she meant to leave? Cold, Siamese as ever, the other form stood. It saddened her even more, her was a girl her age, turning her back in her. Hmph, in the end she was proving herself a Konoha ninja. She may not have Been from the village but by the way she acted proved she was. It was around then that she started speaking, bringing her out of her accusing thoughts. Unknowingly her eyes lit up at the sound of her name. It was the first time she addressed her with her name, and she really enjoyed it. It happened to make her smile in fact, and she curiously waited for the rest of her reply.
It took her a bit, but she slowly again started speaking. She spoke of her slightl curiosity with Nukenin and how this was a chance for her to fulfill that desire of hers. So she was a desire? Something to study? Well she knew technically not her but Nukenin on general. Her eyes continued looking at the girl, wondering what was happening. "Desire.." she mumbled to herself after the girl stopped talking. Then slowly the girl faced her again, resuming her little speech.
So in the end, Marina didn't want to leave, which made her happy. Very happy. "Oh Marina..." she said before rushing foward closing that small gap. She stood closely so her again and gently warpped her arms around her small frame. Holding her close to her own body , enjoying being so close to her. "Marina..." oh how she loved holding her, being like this felt so right and needed. "So what now..?" |

| The words died on her lips, and with them, her breath. The last word was consumed in something of a sigh, which carried through after it left her body. She was done speaking now...she didn't want to do it anymore. She looked at Rysa after she finished, but she was tired. She was happy, she saw that rather quickly. She knew she was admitting something she did not know, but at least she said she didn't know what it was. She explained her feelings as best she could, even though they were still vague, and let it be known she didn't know what they meant. Perhaps Rysa did, but either way, she was tired. Were it not for the ice that still held her up, she would have fallen over by now, exhausted. Little did she realize, the conflict within her own body and mind had exhausted her frail form rather quickly, and now that it had all been put out in the open, there was nothing to keep her up save the ice. Even her eyes lost some light in them when she finished. It was almost like she her life force was coming out with every word she had said, and now she was empty, spent. In a way, it wasn't her burden anymore. Rysa knew now, so it was her problem to figure it out and tell her, she didn't have to worry about it so much now. She wanted to fall over and just lay there for awhile...fall asleep and wake back up frozen in loneliness, get up, and slowly make her way back to Konoha to continue her frozen existence. Her eyes slowly became half-lidded, and were closing all the way slowly.
The darkness she was beginning to accept and embrace was closing around her consciousness slowly but steadily, and she was ready to submit it. Just before she slipped all the way, she heard her name called again by Rysa's soft but evident voice. It cased the darkness to lessen a bit, and before she knew it, the girl was upon her. Close again...so close. Close enough to wrap her arms around her, which she did. She might have been the taller one, but she couldn't help but slump into her slightly, to lean on her just a bit. Her eyes went back to being half lidded as she embraced her. It was a feeling of contentment that she enjoyed very much. As a matter of fact, she felt herself slipping into sleep again, only this time, it was induced by coldness and darkness, but rather Rysa's warmth spreading through her. It was putting her to sleep quickly, and for a time, she actually did close her eyes. She felt so comfortable there, like she could sleep forever. For a small amount of time, she wanted nothing more either, and was content to let it happen.
It couldn't last forever though, and her voice rang through her exhaustion with enough force to wake her all the way back up. She had to open her eyes slowly a few moments after the words were even said before she actually heard them. They activated her mind once again, which woke her right back up. What now...what now...the way she said it inferred something, as though they had made a secret agreement she didn't quite understand. Perhaps it had something to do with Rysa understanding her feelings and wants more than she did, which was a very real possibility. She did want to be with her, but what exactly did that mean? Did she want to be friends? Was this amazing feeling friendship? Did she want to be with her on an occasional basis where they could just be with each other, or was it something more? Was it a desire to be with her...forever? Like her mother and father? She...she didn't know. But rather than focusing on that, she decided to focus on the question.
She spoke in a somewhat intellectual tone, as though she was looking at the situation very logically, which she actually was. That was just how she thought, most of the time at least. Now that her mind could focus on something more tangible and understandable than before, she kicked into gear a bit. [color:288f=b;ue]"I cannot stay here for too long...My family will start to worry. There is little in the village I care about enough to keep me going back, however they are one thing I do." She looked around the area while they continued to embrace, or rather, while she embraced her. Her cold and blank demeanor had returned more or less, but at least she could be content knowing that Rysa knew not to take it personally, that she actually cared or whatever despite what she sounded like. "I don't want to leave. Not yet. But, what will happen afterward? What will we do?" It would have helped if she knew her situation, and could take it into consideration with her scheming, but she didn't ask. |

| She felt her falling asleep in her arms, and suddenly she felt oddly protective causing her to tighten her hold around her. It felt strange, being older and at the same time shorter. Yet here she was, comforting the other form as if it came naturally to her. Something about this felt like it clicked. As if it were meant to happen. She was sleeping, and Rysa herself couldn't help but feeling a little tired. But she pushed on, wanting to see her wake up. That thought alone made her mind jump into the future. It was rather dream-like and hazy, the only things that were clear happened to be an odd couple. It was them she realized in the future. She couldnt tell if it was the near future or some distant time , but they were together. Together, but how? What were they? It seemed as it was something more than friends, but that couldn't be.
Then the girl started to stir again. It may have freaked her out, but Rysa was intently looking at her. Almost possively like, but not quite. Her answer made her tense slightly, causing her to remember where Marina came from. Family. Of course that would keep her, she had family unlike herself. So how did she managed to get outside of the gates? Usually you left when going on missions of some sort. It must have taken a good lie to get away from those pesky guards. But she still spoke, and while she neared the end of her last sentence, one word stood out.
"We?" had she heard correctly? She asked what will they do. It caused her body tremble in delight. Whatever it was, Marina basically acknowledged that somehow they were linked. Close friends or something more, the other female had said 'we'. Ever so lightly she wispeared her name again, this time with more care. She wanted her. All to herself. That selfish feeling overcame her for a brief moment, and her next words would be filled with a load of emotions. "I ..I could visit you. I'll sneak in somehow...if that's ok with you. " There was that off chance that she could be taking it a little to far. She knew that Marina was more of the person that leaned toward being logical. It was something that had came with that different personality of hers.
So she offered up another choice. "Or...you can come outside the village more often. I'll set up camp somewhere when I can. I could send in Aisu with a note for you letting you know when I'm near." Her heart wanted either so very bad. But there was one more thing she wanted and that she said in a low voice that would be hard to hear. First she tilted the girls head to the side, and leaned up, getting closer. Her lips lightly brushed against Marinas own before she spoke. "Lastly..I can take you away with me...of course, all is your choice" |

| Apparently she had fallen into a deeper slumber than she thought. Perhaps she actually had fallen asleep, because when her eyes began to open Rysa moved below her, stirring herself. She hadn't noticed it until that point, but her grip had actually tightened during the time she started to drift. At any rate, her stirring meant that she was so far out that it was obvious when she came back, because she started to react accordingly. Upon such, she moved away from her enough so that she could actually look at her, that they could look at each other. At that time, she couldn't help but wonder if some of the exhaustion she had so suddenly experienced was reflected in her eyes at all, or if perhaps she just had a general look of being tired. Whatever the case was, she went on the answer her question with her own in this state, the two of them looking at each other. She could tell rather quickly that she didn't like her answer very much, for she could feel her arms tense around her. She wasn't very surprised, though she imagined two things she could have been upset about. The first being that she was having memories of her family, be they positive or negative, and the second was that she had something that forced her to go back rather than stay. Perhaps it was a combination of both, but she decided it was best not to ask or pursue, that was her business and she would explain it if she wanted to.
It seemed as though she had said something of particular interest or resonance to Rysa, because she seemed to respond in some way. A form of happiness, she could tell, in what it was she said. She didn't understand what exactly it was that she said, because she had been speaking objectively and obviously; it wasn't like she had purposely attempted to say something that would interest her. Of course, that wasn't to say that what it was Rysa responded to wasn't something she didn't mean. No, she meant exactly what she said, down to the little details. The reason she didn't think it was so big a deal was because she had already accepted it, and therefor didn't really dwell on it. At any rate, she saw the word repeated, and she thought she understood. She was happy to know that she was thinking in terms of both of them, as in she was including the both of them in the big picture of the future. She could understand why she would appreciate that, though she herself didn't really make a big deal out of it because, as stated before, she had already accepted it anyway.
Now it was time for words to continue, and they said more than what was spoken. She could feel it reverberating through her body before speaking, and could hear it as she did. Her desire for her was rather intense, though she wasn't absolutely sure what to think of it. She could identify a similar feeling within herself, but was it JUST similar, or was it actually congruent? She couldn't tell, so instead just decided to take what she said in stride. She didn't focus too much on the emotions that were portrayed in the words, strong as they were, but rather what she said. This was simply because actual issues, or in this case options, were something she could actually grasp and work out herself, while emotions were still something she couldn't understand very well. The first two options she gave were rather obvious, and she had more or less considered them herself even. Naturally, she wanted Rysa to visit her in the village herself, maybe even re-join, but she knew that would be hard. Sneaking in all the time would be difficult, and there was no way they would accept someone who had already abandoned them already. That was a very illogical choice, and Rysa probably knew that too, because the second was easily more practical.
She could visit her outside of the village from time to time, that was actually a smarter choice. It put Rysa in less danger, and most of the pressure of not being followed or something like that was on her. Perhaps it was some form of dominant thing, but she felt more comfortable being the one responsible for such things, rather being the one relying on another and worrying when things went wrong. In a way, she felt more confident in her ability than anybody else's. She could make sure she wasn't followed, and after doing it so many times, the guards wouldn't even ask questions when she left. But was that enough? She wasn't sure. As if reading her mind, Rysa made an action. She elevated herself once again from the ground, and placed her lips upon her body. This time however, it wasn't merely upon her neck, but rather her own. It was a strange action she was unaware of, but had on multiple occasions seen her parents do the same thing. It was only glimpses she saw though, so she did not know much about it. The touch practically electrified her own lips, though she couldn't move, as usual, and they remained stationary as always. Then she spoke, another low whisper. This proposition was much more desirable, she had to admit, but it could not be as simple as that.
She took a deep breath and looked at her squarely before responding in her same monotone voice. Again, the words betrayed what might have been inferred by her tone, her apparent lack of caring. "I would prefer that, Rysa, but for the time being it is not possible." She paused for a second, gathering her thoughts. "For now...it might be smarter for me to visit you, preferably as often as possible. However...perhaps some day it will come to that. I will...see what I can do."

| She guess she could say which one Marina would have picked, and was proved right. She had chosen the most sensible path to go down and one that would protect Rysa. She was slightly greatful for that, glad that Marina, despite how she looked on the outside, had cared for her. Just by saying that she didn't want her to get hurt, proved that somwhow Marina actually cared. If even only just a bit. But she would take. As small as it was, she took comfot in knowing that some part of the other girl actually cared But what to do? "You have to leave soon.." Mumbling, she was unhappy. Unhappy that they would have to part ways after only just meeting. It was unfair she thought. To find something good, or rather someone good, then have to leave it just like that. So soon. But she was happy. A smile had come up on her face and it had stayed there for quite awhile, all because of her. Her hug became tighter, wanting her closer.
Closer. She wanted to feel her againt her body, to touch her skin all over. Mostly to hold her. Her body had this weird desire, an urge to just keep Marina her. To keep her here for a very long time. Tighter she held, not quite squeezing her, but making it know that she enjoyed this weird sort of contact. And her nose twitched every so often, trying to commit her scent to memory. And also for herself.
Everything about Marina called ot to her. Her voice, body...everything. She just loved he cold personality. After all opposites attract, right? Well...as friends. Deep down she didn't want to admit that she was developing more and more complex feelings for this girl. She had to keep it simple for now. Basic feelings..evn though the 'basics' weren't in her mind now. "So..when are you leaving....me?"
Once again she let her hand lightly go over Marinas back, gently rubbing as if sayng I didn't want you to leave. Maybe just maybe Marina would break a little more. Let a little more of that ice melt. "Marina...."Wispeared one more time. One more sweet time. Who knows how long it will be to the next time she got to see her? She savored every little syallble, drawning out her name. It could be seen that she had already had affection for her.

| Rysa's words fell upon her ears almost like an explosion of discontent. What she said was true, she did have to leave soon. They both knew it, especially by the way Rysa spoke her words like a statement, rather than a question. There was no doubt about it, they would have to separate fairly soon. She could not simply go with her, or vice-versa. Well...in all honesty, it was very possible for that to happen, all they had to do was keep walking and not look back. Yet, she could not. It was actually something of a surprise for her to admit that. Despite all the days she had walked around Konoha thinking about how little she cared about it and most of the people within it, she found she couldn't just leave. The truth was, it wasn't just because of her parents either. She didn't want to say it to Rysa, as it would probably upset her, but she was unsure of what she wanted. She wanted to be with Rysa, this was true, but to what extent was the question. It was mostly her logical side speaking, but she HAD just met this person. To run away with her so soon would be foolish, especially since she did not quite understand their relationship. She had to figure it out for herself before she would be able to leave without any regrets. She had to make sure that Rysa was...someone she actually wanted to be with, possibly forever. Her logical side was always against creating relationships, which is why as of yet she never had, but it was willing to make a compromise with Rysa. If she could determine that she was prepared to run away with her, her conscience would remain clean and sure that it was a good choice needless of regrets.
She was looking straight ahead, stuck in her thoughts when she felt Rysa hug her even tighter. She blinked at the constriction, as it was unexpected. What was she doing anyway? A hug? It was a rather intimate thing she noticed, but it was comfortable, really. Their bodies pressed up against each other, she enjoyed it, felt almost at home. However, she herself had hardly reacted at all to the hug, and had thus far literally been standing straight and still the entire time, almost as though Rysa wasn't even there. Hugs...went both ways, right? As in, the arms of both participants were included. She had seen her parents doing it before...so that had to be it. She looked down at the ground, over her head, and bent her arms at the elbow up so that her palms were facing upward, and she looked at them. She wasn't hugging her yet though, but rather, her arms were simply raised. She looked at them...and she could feel her body beginning to reject the action she was attempting to do. Perhaps it was the defensive mechanism of her body at work again, but her body wanted her to remain as passive and uncaring as possible. Don't get involved, don't let anyone see emotion, let everyone think you care for nothing. That is what her body told her, and what it tried to uphold through her at all times.
But...she wanted to overcome that, at least with Rysa. She could act like the same cold, emotionless bitch to everyone else in the world, but she wanted to act out at least a little bit with Rysa. She could feel her body talking to her in response, it was making a compromise at that very moment. Very well, it told her, she could act out with Rysa. However, her body would make sure her ice intensified to the point of absolute carelessness and possible hate towards everyone else. Around Rysa, she could crack, she could melt. Around anybody else though...the ice would be so thick she would appear lifeless. What her body didn't tell her was, it was going to encourage her to develop emotions with other people, but she would show them absolutely NOTHING. Only Rysa could see her insides, no matter how she felt about anybody else. Little did she know however, her body was not very happy with this. So, against her knowledge, it would tease her with Rysa. It would throw urges up in her face, but wouldn't let her know what they meant.
At any rate, she as she looked at her hands know, she could see them stop quivering with struggle, and submitted to her mind. She stared at them a second longer before very slowly bringing them to wrap around her as well. It was gentle though, not very tight like Rysa was hugging her, but the gesture was all the same. Upon doing so, her engagement in the interaction seemed to increase a level, so to speak, and she felt even more at home. She closed her eyes again, but not in an effort to fall asleep again; she was completely awake. She breathed out deeply but silently, expressing her comfort at the moment, when Rysa spoke. It was a question that needed to be answered after all, but with her body's recent submission, she had a resolve to do something a little differently.
She pulled away from her, but not so far that Rysa's arms weren't still around her, just far enough so they could look face to face, and she made sure they were. She stared at her for a moment, her eyes so blank it was almost scary, but something was hidden in them. She had...gone so far, so she might as well go the extra mile, so to speak. She looked at her, and slowly craned her neck down to gently place her lips upon hers. The action was, of course, something she had never done before, so therefor did not know how to engage in it properly. She did not know what one was supposed to do with the lips at the point of contact, but whatever Rysa did she would replicate. Regardless, the interaction was ecstatic, sending a brief shock through her entire body, though it didn't react. After a few moments, she pulled away and looked at her again. This time, her eyes held a kind of fierceness to them that was replicated in her voice. They dared anyone to try to force her to do otherwise of what she said. "When I feel like it." While the words were directed at Rysa, their intention was actually towards the village, everyone else, basically saying that they would not control her in this matter. |

| Her eyes widened at the sudden contact from the other girl, not expecting it at all. She was surprised, but pleasantly so. Marina..had kissed her, or rather something akin to it. In the end it didn't matter, she had opened up just a little more, the ice cracking. It was cracking slowly, but with each new crack it caused an 'explosion ' from both sides. For Marina she could tell, meant she was venturing to unknown terrirtory. A place that she really doesn't known about, one that the ice had covered up. But for herself? It allowed her to get glimpses of that hidden personality that was hidden. So far the ice had cracked open just a smidge, but in the long run it had measurable value. A brief smile flickered across her girlish features. She was going to be the one, or one of the people, to venture into the life of Marina. Small steps were taken, and it was just the first day of meeting. Imagine, how things would be in even more encounters.
She allowed herself to not focus on the body that was presses against hers to look around to the sky. The sun had started to set, and she knew her time was up for two things. In that instant as she watched the sun, she knew she wouldn't be alone. Marina would end up being with her for whatever reason. That thought, not the sun, was what warmed her. "I'm not alone..." a wonderful thought, to be rid of that slight burden. Not a burden really, but she had always hated the fact of aloneness. It didn't suit her well. But as quick as that warming thought had came, it vanished just as quick.
She would have to be leaving soon. This priceless girl would be leaving her soon. Once again her body tensed up, her mind slightly mad. Time, a thing she payed no attention to was coming to bite her in the butt. It mocked her as if saying that was what she got for not paying attention. The warmth left her, as did her joy somewhat. Well happiness didn't last forever after all. Hers was about to leave. Her arms lessened their pressure, but remaind there all the same. Lightly she brushed her lips against hers once more, before moving slowly down to her neck. She wanted to mark her as hers, as instinct told her to do. Her canine teeth became slightly longer at the thought, mincing her desire to. Still she didn't know if that would be ok, so instead she waited to see if Marina noticed and continued to press her lips lightly in that area.
"Its getting late out...Marina..." Well that was obvious, but both needed to hear it. She herself needed to here it, just so she reinforced the idea that she did indeed have to give her up soon. Her arms again brought her even closer, her nose flaring slightly. Minutes of their time was left, and she wanted to implant and remember as much of the girl as she could. How she felt, how she smelled..and maybe how she tasted. She wasn't satisfied in the least, but it had to do. It just had to, no matter how she disliked it. But she grasped on to these last moments and waited for Marina to respond. |

| After the kiss of sorts, a period of inaction occurred. Despite what she said, Rysa said nothing. As it turned out, she didn't need to, her answer was good enough. So, they just stayed there like that for what felt like a very long time. It was time well spent, even though nothing was said. She would leave at the very last second...that was when it was decided by her answer and her lack of response. It sounded noble, but thats really what it meant anyway, that she would wait as long as possible. At any rate, it turned out to be awhile. She would have been left to fend with her thoughts during that period of silence, but that didn't happen. Rysa was in her arms, and she was in hers, and that was all that mattered. It was like her embrace was a sedative to her restless mind, keeping it quiet and calm so she could just sit there and...relax. She didn't need to contend with the emotions and feelings she didn't understand, they were all glazed over to a general feeling of happiness, which was something she could grasp better. Even though she practically looked dead in her arms, she was happy, very much so. Maybe it was best that nobody could know, that nobody would know. Nothing on her surface would ever give away the happiness she felt towards Rysa, because it simply would never show. She'd still be the same old emotionless and careless Marina everybody knew, nobody would ever know she had a friend that she could feel so happy about. No, her happiness and the expression of it thereof was something that could be represented towards herself and Rysa. The only way anybody would ever know otherwise would be if they saw the two of them, but even now the sheer nothingness on her face would have them wondering if perhaps she wasn't just acting, badly as it would seem.
She felt Rysa look up, or at least shift her attention up after awhile, looking up at the sky. Her eyes slowly flitted to look up to, and see the sun. It would set soon, and she would have to be back. If it turned dark and she had not returned, people would begin to wonder and bad things would probably follow soon. She sighed through her nose, she didn't have much time left...they didn't have much time left. They would meet again though...and she would wait for the day with an impatience she had never experienced before. How well would she be able to handle waiting though? That was the question. Doubtless, her body would act like nothing was wrong, but her mind would always be the minority. Rysa was probably thinking something similar, because she could feel her tense. Yes...it was a depressing thought, separation so soon after just coming together. It was a fact of life, but perhaps that separation would make their next meeting that much better. Her logical side was trying to make things easier for her by saying that if she stayed with her night after night, they would easily get sick of each other. By limiting interactions between them, it was ensured that they would always be fresh and enjoyable, rather than repetitive and boring. Should she be thankful for that? She really wasn't too sure.
Her arms suddenly lost the tenseness, and started to lighten up a bit, though they didn't unwind, so neither did hers. She could tell what was going through her mind though, it was almost time to leave, closer than it was before. Soon they would have to unwind, so neither of them would really be getting into trouble. It still made her sad to think about, and she could feel the happiness she had been enjoying for so long sort of slip away from her as the dawn of the inevitable came ever closer. It was for that reason that she welcomed Rysa's lips as they came to brush her own once again, enjoying it almost like a last embrace of sorts. That had to have been what it was, because now they were drifting down to her neck, where they hovered over it. She could feel her teeth scrapping against her skin. It caused a strange reaction...was she asking something? Without knowing it, her body took charge once again. It was going to dig her hole even deeper. She wanted to "be with Rysa"? Well, then it was about to make it so she could ONLY be with Rysa. The skin of her neck nearby her teeth began to quiver and shake, almost softening itself up for her, a silent sign giving Rysa the go ahead. Bite into her, and bite deep. Do what she so wanted to do at the moment, seal their bond. Of course, Marina herself wasn't sure what was going on or what it meant, so was something of an innocent bystander.
At any rate, before Rysa did whatever it was she was going to do, she spoke again, her lips still trailing her neck though. All she did was state what she already knew though...so she could only sigh. Yes, it was getting late. She enjoyed the sudden re-tightening of her hug, bringing them closer together again, but she knew it wouldn't last. All she could really do though was nod in reluctant agreement. Yes, it was getting late, but they didn't have to go. Not just yet...there were still minutes, seconds, it didn't matter. She would enjoy whatever was left, no matter how minuscule. She wouldn't say much either, she just wanted to silently enjoy her for now. Perhaps if something significant happened soon, she would speak out. Until then...she would enjoy the last few moments of bliss. |

| She sensed Marias skin giving away to her teeth, which she liked. Slowly she felt her saliva thicken as the thoughts of biting Marina became clear in her mind. Her hands reached up and pressed her neck against her teeth. Her body shivered slightly as the moment neared closer. Then her inner body began to relax, letting the chakra flow rather undisturbed. As if knowing what to do already, she felt her chakra leeched into her saliva, mixing with it slowly. "If it hurts...don't move.." Her teeth started to roughly scrape her skin, breaking it slowly. Her then rational mind shut down almost completely. She sensed a treat was to come for her complete utter enjoyment. Oh god.... was perhaps her last rational though when she plunged her teeth into the other girl. Her saliva quickly had dripped down from her teeth and entered the wound at a steady amount. Thew a few seconds later, she cesed the flow of chakra, judging what seemed to be an ok amount to make it sutible. Her body was shaking with enjoyment, soon when retreated she knew there was going to be blood. Her secret love...oh now she was so close to geting it.
Her teeth became normal again, pulling out of the wound of their own accord. Her eyes caught the red gleam of liquid that started forming at the penetration site. That...she wanted, oh so bad. She lapped it up, savoring the metalical taste of it. What made it even more better was the it all belong to Marina. All hers, her own. She couldn't stop herself, but she had to. and even aloud she voiced her want. That was one thing she didn't care what the other girl thought about it. Her fetish you could say. "Marina..." Her voice held an unsatible need. And still her tounge lapped at the blood that was slowly begining stop. Her body craved more, even more than what was available.
"Marina..." Wispearing she leaned away from her, gazing into her eyes. Breifly she wondered what was shown in her own eyes , since she wasn't able to see them. Probably they had held something simaliar to lust. Afterall she was feeling an intense need for her. But it was late. Time to go, her body told her. She had family to get back to , family that would see the new mark. Good work... Rysa hadn't even thought about the girls parents. What would they say? Whould they care? Most importantly, would she say anthing? She didn't know how things were at home, and thus didn't know if she had put Marina into trouble. "Im sorry.." Her lips formed without sound. In a way she knew she had just made the other girls life harder in a way. But for now she wouldn't know in what ways. What she had just did was almost new to her even. It was a simple marking, but what would come of it? Only time, sweet lovely time would tell.
She let her hands drop to hers and slowly begain the walk back to Konoha , savoring the contact and the moment. She could hear the time ticking away. Ticking away at the few precious moments left together. Her feet carried them slowly in that hated direction. That sinking feeling was abosorbing her, and she bet that somewhere inside the other girl, she felt the same. Her hands tightend around Marinas, saying all the unsaid things that she felt at the moment. It seemed that their silent communcation was how they understood each other best. Really words were unneeded between them. Of course she would rather speak aloud, but the way they communicated was just fine, special even?

- Spoiler:
Name: Frolic Rank: C Type: Clan? Range: Personal (Touching) Element: N/A Description: This is a technique of sorts utilized be Inuzuka clan member Rysa. The intention of the technique is to "Mark" and individual, creating a physical and mental connection of the marked target to Rysa. The mark itself is a simple physical action of biting deep enough into another's neck to leave a permanent scar, an action that is actually recognized by Inuzuka clansmen and canines in general as "marking a mate", or branding one as theirs. As a matter of fact, most Inuzuka couples have this mark on at least one of them. Rysa, however, decided to take this a step further. Naturally, the bare mark itself is nothing but a scar that only holds meaning to other canines or Inuzuka clansmen because only they recognize it. Perhaps due to the loneliness induced upon becoming a Nukenin, Rysa devised a way to make the mark's meaning and intention of branding one recognizable to everyone who looked upon it, not just those who would recognize the mark itself. By loading her saliva with chakra, when she bites into another person (and if they remain stationary long enough) her chakra becomes embedded within the scar that is formed. The now chakra charged mark does a number of things. First, it constantly gives off an odorless scent as a by product of the dormant chakra. When breathed in by anyone, the scent stimulates their mind in order to cause them to think, or rather "learn" that the bearer of the bond is "taken". If that conflicts with one's desires or interests within the marked person, the scent will intensify and basically tell the person that they are utterly unavailable. Secondly, the chakra within the mark will in itself seep into the mind of the marked person, manipulating their own thoughts. This is not a method of mind control where Rysa can tell them what to do, but rather, it influences their thoughts to return or be focused on Rysa, be they negative or positive. Basically, the purpose of the mark's creation was so that when Rysa meets someone special, she is able to ensure that they stay hers and everybody knows they are hers even if they go apart for some time, and not just other Inuzuka who see and understand the basic mark. Chakra Cost: 10

| So, there they were, standing in the middle of the woods embracing each other. They most certainly looked rather odd in that position, especially considering who they were. Marina, a lanky and pale white ghost of contrast with her pitch black clothes and hair. Rysa, a small girl with the appearance of a child and bright colors to take both her clothes and hair. There was a whole five inch difference in height. It almost could have looked like Rysa was something of Marina's younger sister, and they were hugging each other for comfort for some scary thing she had seen in the forest. Perhaps that was the wonder, the deception. The appearance of such was completely misleading, and to most, just looking at them one could never tell. Sisters, thats what they looked like really, but what they were was so much more, though that was a fact that possibly neither of them knew. But these were thoughts that never passed through Marina's mind, as it was actually quite blank. The only thing that could possibly plague her peace at the moment was the knowledge of time...being aware of it as it ticked by far too fast. Minutes, hours, days maybe, all too fast. Ice was slow by nature...and she was no exception. She could freeze the two in time like that forever, stuck together like two ice cubes that would never melt, and she would be as happy as could be.
But perhaps something else would disturb them now, if you would call it that. Rysa had said something that she didn't quite understand. If it hurt? She remembered her teeth lightly scrapping against her skin, almost like asking for permission to puncture. Her eyes, which had been looking forward without actually looking the entire time, slowly turned to the side to look in her direction before she did that. She was going to bite her? Well...that was a strange thing to do, but maybe not considering she was Inuzuka. At this point, she figured she just wanted to...taste her maybe? She wasn't sure, but she didn't mind. If she wanted to, and something about how her voice sounded she could tell she really did, she wouldn't stop her. Not that she had a choice anyway, because her body froze up a second before the plunge, freezing her in place while the process was completed. She wouldn't lie, it hurt, it hurt a lot, but she didn't show it. She couldn't show it. She just kept looking in her direction with those eyes of her as she went on...
It was clear that Rysa was really enjoying digging into her flesh with her teeth. It was pretty simple at first, but she could feel something more, like something was entering her body. It wasn't her saliva, it was something else...in it maybe? She was injecting her with something? An interesting concept, but what was it for? Only time would tell it would seem, and for now she wouldn't ask any questions. Not that she could really, the pain was crippling even without the ice. She couldn't even scream on the inside really. It took awhile, but finally she pulled away, her teeth shrinking first. Her face stayed the same as she looked at her, as though she hadn't felt anything. Rysa wasn't paying attention to that though...even though she had pulled away and taken her teeth out of her, she wasn't done. She could feel the blood pouring out of her neck even before she started licking it up like a dog. A strange idea to be so interested in blood, or rather to love the taste of it so much. Maybe it was just her blood, she didn't know. Either way, the whole idea of blood and how it was interacted with wasn't something that bothered. She could keep going ahead, it was healing the wound anyway.
After doing it for so long, she heard her name called. Her need was oh so evident in her voice, and she could hear it just as much as she could feel it. She was loving this, biting into her so much. The way she said her name was crazy, but she didn't know how to respond, so simply tightened her grip momentarily to let her know she was still there. She admitted...she loved the sound when she said it that way for some reason, she had no idea why. She'd ask her to say it again, but well...she just wouldn't. She didn't need to actually, because she did anyway, just before pulling away. They looked at each other, and she saw what she had been feeling in her eyes. She could see it all in there, a kind of lust for her. What did that entail exactly? A lust to just be with her, or to do more things like she just had? Or was there even more? It was something she didn't understand. Regardless, the look in her eyes coupled with the feelings from the bite and the way she said her name incited a reaction. Her whole body quivered just a little bit, and she wondered if Rysa could feel it. She didn't understand what it was about, but all of a sudden she was out of breath.
After awhile, the look in her eyes toned down a bit, and were replaced with worry. That worry was expressed in two simple words. What was she sorry about? All she had done was bite her, right? Without looking away, one of her hands went away from her, and slowly made its way over to rest gently on the wound, now that it had stopped bleeding. Well...she was a medic for a reason. She could tell just by touching the wound that it wasn't a wound, it was a scar. It would never completely heal, it would always be there for the world to see. It was at that moment that she figured out what it must have meant. That scar was a permanent mark, like she had branded her, as her own property she imagined. She thought back to the feeling of injection she had felt earlier. Was it chakra maybe? If so, what would it do? Would it ward off anyone else who tried to make contact with her? She wasn't sure, but she was sure to find out. The worry in her eyes was explained now. She had done that without really thinking, and branded her with a visible mark. Anyone who saw it would know probably. She must have been wondering what her parents would think. She wasn't worried about that though, her hair was long enough to hide it from everyone if she wanted. Besides, she didn't care if everyone knew. If it led her to getting kicked out of the village...well...so be it. She let her hand drop and just continued to look at her as though she didn't really care that it put her in "danger", which she didn't.
So they unwound each other, but interlocked hands as they both turned to face the village. It was an interaction that Rysa led and Marina just followed though, she didn't know what she was doing. The act of holding hands, as they were, was something she never really understood, but Rysa wanted to do it, so that was good enough for her. Well, maybe the interaction was a little comfortable too. They couldn't be embracing each other all the time, so maybe this was a good alternative for when they wanted to walk. They didn't say anything, not a single thing as they walked. Yet, regardless, it was easily said that they were enjoying each others company, having a silent conversation with each other almost. She could feel it in her too, a depressive dread at getting closer to the village. These were their last moments for the time being. As soon as they went so far, it would be time to go. She could feel her hand tighten around hers, unsaid things pouring in from her. She could only close her eyes in silent agreement in response. She was still so confused...as to why she didn't want to leave so badly. She didn't care about anybody, even her parents were questionable to an extent. She would have to get these things figured out...hopefully before they met again.
They came to the edge of the forest, just before anyone would be able to detect them. She stopped, and they both stood and stared for awhile. Seconds...only seconds remained now. She turned to face her, looking right at her. She looked so sad...and maybe she did too, she didn't know. For a moment, her body flared, and she bent down to place her lips upon hers again, though they were moving on their own. Rather than just brushing lips, her body took charge and turned it into an actual kiss. The difference between the two was enough to make Marina want more, but she knew she couldn't. She HAD to leave now. With their last touch, she moved back, slowly letting their hands come apart. She looked at her for awhile as she ran off, but then had to look forward again as she picked up pace to head back towards the village. The guards would surely ask what took her so long, but she would feign exhaustion to make it look like she had trained the whole time. Perhaps when she ran past them, the guards would look at each other with confusion, the distinct feeling in their minds that something had happened to her while she was out there. Subconsciously, they would become aware that Marina Yuki was a claimed woman.
