Midara was going to be a leader of some of his fellow genin. He needed to be as mature as a leader and he needed to be the strongest of all of them. He needed to be able to defend all when no one else could. This meant serious training. Midara already trained his charka capacity and his endurance. Instead of working on strength, he has decided to work on speed. It would help him more.

It was a bright sunny morning in Konoha, it always was nice a bright. The sun was as bright as the villager's smiles and the grass was as strong as The Lady Hokage. The Leaf Village was a wonderful place to live and serve, it was no wonder why it has such a strong military. Even the genin are dedicated. Midara woke up from his bed and dressed himself up in loose clothing. He had his loose black long sleeve, with loose white shorts. He normally wore ninja wrappings but not for today. He also worn normal villager sandals. He ran out of his door and ran as fast as he could to the training ground. Training doesn't have to start at the training grounds!

The training ground had was about 3 miles in a circle and had about a pond the length of about half a mile.'Okay, lets do this!' Midara yelled in his head so loud his ears started to ring. Midara started to run as fast as he could around the campus as he punched and kicked each passing tree as many times as he could. He was also becoming aware of his surroundings. Since he was running so fast, and doing so many things, he needed to know where he was going and what he was going to do next. Being physically fast made him mentally fast also. It made him think quicker being able to dodge things faster and apply a counter strike within the same second. After exhausting himself from running the 3 mile circle and attacking everything in his way, he was back at where he started. Now it was time for a water break.

Midara ran as fast as he could and jumped into the pond. Just because he was fast on land doesn't mean he would be fast in water too. Midara knew this so he needed to adapt himself in the water and started to swim as fast as he could to the other side of the pond and back. Although, he wanted to give himself a nice challenge. There were fishes swimming in the water, the same water that Midara was swimming in. This only meant one thing. CATCH A FISH! Midara went off course to try and catch a fish and he wasn't going to cheat. He wasn't going to try and sneak up on a fish, he was going to scare it away then chase after it. Almost like a shark playing with his prey.

Midara didn't have to much luck at the beginning because he was quickly being outran. Slowly he started to catch up and be able to chase them longer. He was able to get so close he could simply taste the filleted fish. Midara kept trying and he wouldn't give up. He wanted this fish! After quite some time of chasing it, he caught one. Jumped out of the pond and ran back to his starting point. He was starving, and he knew that this fish, a decent size, could give him enough energy. Although, he wouldn't let himself have it, unless he earned it. Midara off branches of trees and made a quick small grill. Filleting the fish with his kunai. He then threw it on the grill and started to get ready to run.

Midara made a small fire ball that quickly set the grill on fire. The fish could cook slowly but not slow enough for Midara to mess around. Midara went off to his run, he was to run around the circuit and get to his fish in time to eat it and it not be burned. Midara ran as quickly as he could all the way to the end, once he reached the grill after running his gruesome 3 miles, he was running so fast that he simply couldn't stop and he ran right into the grill. Good thing he was so fast he couldn't catch a flame and he grabbed the fish and chowed down. This was certainly a good reward.
