Given the nature of this, I'll be using my own custom template.

Also given the complexity of this, I'll be doing a training post to further describe it, probably more than a thousand words long. s that This however, will not be until Konoha takes a certain country, as that country is where it shall exist

Travel Mechanism:
Sails above. Coal Steam Engine, created by one of the many merchants and inventors in konoha during the merchant boom. This Engine can also, in an emergency, be powered by fire ninjutsu. The engine works by heating up huge vats of water. This water vaporizes into steam, which creates pressure. The pressure turns huge turbines found beneath the submersible, which spin to force the uboat forward. Note that these Uboat travel above ground primarily. Inside the Uboat are a few tanks of air. These tanks are under the half mark of the boat. When vents open, they fill with water through a lock, causing the boat to be heavy and sink. When the boat needs to rise again, they filter in air from the sea, a process taking 3 hours, unless preprepared.
Capacity:
The Mother Ship can hold a total of 80 people. 30 of these are workers keeping the submarine going.
Each smaller ship can hold 40. 20 of these are workers keeping the submarine going.
Weaponry:
On top of the Mother ship is 6 canons. In each of these canons, are 10 Giant Kunai, which have 150 exploding tags wrapped around them. There are 2 more Canons at the front of the mother ship. These canons contain gigantic containers, that, upon impact release a substance known as Konohakaton. It is a fire that spreads rapidly, and can only be put out by dirt or by smothering, water makes it grow. This technology is top secret, and only the hokage, who created it, knows of it's existence, the rest think these containers are simple fire bombs

On the smaller ships are 3 canons, each containing the giant explosive kunai, and 2 more canons containing konohakaton.
Traveling range/speed: These ships are stocked heavily with coal and supplies, and since they'd never be travelling farther than across a sea, they have no true range, especially since they can be refueled during travel

Usain Bolt: 40km/h ~ 11.1m/s @ 100m.
Ninja: 50km/h ~ 13.9m/s @ 100m.
Fleet Ships: 20km/h ~ 9.7m/s @ 100m.
Mother Ship: 20km/h ~ 7.0m/s @ 100m.

Description:

Both ships are made of a combination of many different metals, crafted by Konoha's best forgers

I want alot more detail. How does the engine work, how does the sub actually sink and rise, how much air is in the sub for voyages, etc. Im almost 100% positive gasoline and oil and the like werent in the naruverse, which is what your engines would need to be powered on, or nuclear reactors. Pr batteries, but the extensive amount of battery power needed would last a sub... maybe 6 hours max.

All in all, this needs alot more detail.

You say there are 5 ships in the fleet but only name 3?

Do these all have to be launched in one go or can they be launched one-at-a-time or in groups?

Could you please explain what makes this fire different to regular fire and how water makes it "grow" exactly?

Sorry if I seem a little harsh, I want this fleet to be as good but as fair as you do. That's all I can see wrong with it for now. ^_^

It fires them one at a time

Konohakaton is Greek Fire, a substance that contains a boatload of chemicals formed in a precise fashion. One of these chemicals is phosphorus, making it bright, copper is in there, making it green. The phosphorus reacts with water, burning it, but because of the chemical formula, it burns it like any other substance. Water can both fuel or ignite Konohakaton. The only substances that can put it out are Sand, VERYYYY strong vinnegar, or old urine. Sand provides the most effective, draining the substance of it's oxygen (whereas dirt contains moisture, making it burn through). Vinnegar or urine both induce a chemical reaction which halts it's burning.

Ill grant you the greek fire, but it does not fuel it. In order to fuel it, it would need to break down the chemical composition of hydrogen and oxygen in order to burn off the oxygen.

As I had to do my own research of this, it syas there are some reports of water igniting, but I dont see enough to allow the water to ignite it itself, unless you add in a little tid bit about sodium being present in the mixture, because sodium, when exposed to water ignites. If you include that little tidbit I have no problems with the ignition phase being caused by water. However the fueling it portion wouldnt occur. Itd just burn on water and be extremely hard to put out.

Mmm, my own research (on sites other than wikipedia, mind you) state that the opposite was actually most likely to occur. That water couldn't ignite it, but there was rather an ignition source that reacted when the container was broken, creating a chemical reaction, starting it. However, once started, the fire would burn water, as the chemical composition would do just as you say. It would burn the oxygen in the water, releasing the hydrogen in a stable, non volatile state (not it's natural, extremely explosive state).

You don't have a propulsion method for these craft. Submarines can't use sails and most engines are too advanced for the naruto universe. Until you can come up with a method to get this thing moving through the water I'm not even going to open the can of worms that is the rest of this app.
