| MEDICAL NINJA. Medical Ninja are ninja who specialize in Eijutsu (Medical Arts) and work for the Logistics and Medical Division. They are able to use medical-orientated skills to heal targets. In order to become a Medical Ninja, one must possess high intelligence and great chakra control. A Medical Ninja is trained to avoid getting damaged in battle at any cost, for the reason that if they are injured, then there would be nobody to heal the other members of their team. There are many branches of being a Medical Ninja and their knowledge can be used in many different forms; some Medical Ninja specialize in the knowledge of creating deadly poisons. When in the field or on the battlefield, they are equipped with medical pouches in order to carry medical supplies as well as their regular weapons.
BLACK JACK DOCTOR. Some medics are rather dedicated to their art, considering such petty things as the "Hippocratic Oath" to be simple obstacles in the way of their research. What matters if a few lost souls become snuffed out in the process of finding a new cure for some strange new disease that they certainly didn't create? And if a client is rich enough and willing enough, what matters if some fool wakes up one kidney short? While a black-jack doctor has all the skill and knowledge of a village medical nin, more often than not, their healing comes with a price, and they are not afraid to put their skills to dirty use.

[b]Mission Title:[/b] First Impressions [b]Mission Type:[/b] Profession Entry - Medical Ninja [b]Mission Location:[/b] Village Hospital [b]Shinobi Requirement:[/b] C-Rank or above [b]Mission Rank: [/b]C [b]Mission Objective: [/b]As of late, the number of patients being admitted to the hospital, as well as the amount of appointments and walk-ins, has increased significantly. Unfortunately, this means that there is very little time for budding medical shinobi to be properly tested so that they can be admitted into the ranks. In order to fill the need of more working hands and exam proctors, they are inviting any genin wishing to enter the field to assist them with the more minor medical tasks. Your job is to perform checks on at least 2 walk-in patients, and if possible, provide them with medical care to the best of your ability. It's important to note that not all situations will be at a level that you can handle, and you're expected to be able to identify such cases and deal with them accordingly. When you've finished your shift, make sure to turn in the paperwork. The better you do, the better your chances of being formally granted the medical ninja status. Good luck! To make it, you need to get your name out there - which is almost impossible to do without some connections. Luckily for you, a criminal doctor with a fairly decent reputation's in need of a few extra hands. He heard that you were looking to get into his line of work, so he had a black market runner deliver an invitation to help him out. While you won't be doing anything too difficult, you'll be handling diagnosis, treatment of minor ailments, and possible some tasks that, while morally questionable, simply come with the territory of being a medic in the criminal world. Be careful what you say and do, because the last thing he wants is a spy or somebody that'll damage his reputation. Do well, though, and your reward will be the sharing of your ability through word of mouth, which is just what you need to be on your way as a Black Jack Doctor. Player Reward: Medical Ninja are allowed access to the Hidden Village's medical archives thus gaining knowledge of rare medical techniques, herbs and poisons. Also for each player character that is healed from a critical or life-saving injury either on the battlefield or hospital, they gain an extra amount of points, whether it be Ranking or Mission points.

Name: Teika Herb Rank: D Type: Herb Appearance: The Teika Bush is very simplistic in terms of its appearance with little to no distinctiveness that would set it apart from other forest bushes. The bush is a nicely toned fern-green and because it's cordate leaves point downwards it in turn causes the bush to look slightly round. The Teika Herb itself is actually the leaves of the bush which have been plucked from it's stems. A typical quantity of Teika Herbs is about a handful of leave. They produce no traceable odor to the common nose, however a creature with a heightened sense of smell can indicate a faint sappy allure. Quantity: 1 Per Thread. Storage: Medical Kit. Special Abilities: The Teika is a habitual herb that is easily found over most habitats within the ninja world. It is used in nearly every society and village for different purposes whether it be medical or nugatory purposes such as food flavoring. However in terms of medical use, a specialist within the field is able to use it's special properties to the field of toxicology. The herb is very sensitive chakra, shoushen chakra to more specific. When the herb is exposed to healing chakra it is able to produce a liquid extremity that is able to sink into the the pores of the skin. The common application in which a medic would use this on a patient would be to apply the herb on an area of the skin and proceed to use the Shousen Jutsu over-top of it. When the herb has secreted into the pores and has entered the bloodstream, it is able to reverse any poison within the person's body back to its [Post 1] state. Although it doesn't remove the poison, it does provide a lot of usefulness when wanting to prevent death or severe harm from a intoxicant in the later stages. Name: Moeru Herb Rank: C Type: Herb Appearance: The Moeru flower is often mistaken as a Amaryllis because of its large exotic petals and petite size. The petals come in a variety of shades of red but the seeds which are embedded into the veins of the plant are tinted yellow. These seeds are actually the key ingredient to the herb of the Moeru, which is the mushy mixture of its leaves, petals, and seeds. This greenish-red mishmash produces an unpleasant smell once created, which can also be used as an indicator that the mixture is complete. Quantity: 2 Per Thread. Storage: Medical Kit. Special Abilities: The mixture has the ability to fully numb an area that is rubbed into after a few seconds. It's effect wears off after four posts where it must be re-applied to sustain the numbing effect. In addition, the Moeru it is able to cure first and second degree burns within a few minutes of its applications, making it a great pain reliever and burn treatment. Name: Fantazumu Herb Rank: B Type: Herb Appearance: The Fantazumu plant is simply beautiful if taken within a gothic perspective. It has dark purple petals that droop a few inches towards the ground, making it seem as though the plant is weeping. Falling down the center of the petals are two whisker-like strings that twine down and animate on their own accord like worms. Unlike most herbs which are the actual mixture of the plants components, the Fantazumu's is simple assortment of the components instead. It essentially wrapping the whiskers around the petals in a note-like fashion. Quantity: 2 Per Thread. Storage: Endless. Special Abilities: The Fantazumu herb is very common amongst toxicologists and poison specialists more prevalently amongst those with forbidden knowledge of cellular animation techniques since this is primarily what this herb is used for. When placed into simplistic terms, the Fantazumu has the ability to germinate any dead cell that it's exposed to with infectious bacteria. A common technique that utilizes this ability is the Shikon no Jutsu which allows a Medic to animate a corpse for a short time. The corpse wielding this herb will become highly contagious with bacteria, and any wound they inflict on their target will become painfully infected. If the wound is not treated within a short amount of time, then the bacteria will spread until the person's entire body becomes sick with a fever. A skilled Medic is able to summon a corpse with the herb within it already, however others may stick the herb on the back of the corpse to make it infected. Name: Medical Flak Jacket Rank: B Type: Clothing Appearance: The Medical Flat Jacket is an iconic equipment piece amongst combatant medics who have been certified within their villages to serve on the field. These variants of the flak jackets are tan. They have three scroll pouches on each side of their chest for herbs, medicine, and other medical tools. For protection they include a neck guard and extra padding over the shoulders. They also have pockets on each side and a zipper down the middle. It also features a red cross on the back and left breast of the jacket that identifies them as a medic amongst others. Special Abilities (Village Nin): The Medic who wears their flat jacket shall gain honorarium for their services. For each person they heal on the field (besides themselves) they are refunded 5CP as a result whether it's by Shousen, delivering antidotes or bandaging. Moreso when the medic heals a target with a Shousen technique, they themselves also slightly healed by the effect. In addition to those, the potency of the medics healing techniques are increased. Special Abilities (Nuke-Nin): While village nin are geared more towards aiding others, Black Jack's more frequently use their powers to harm. As a result, they are refunded 2CP each timer their medical prowess causes harm to another, whether it be by subverted medical jutsu, offensive ones, or poisons.

Poison Name: Five Senses Confusion Disorder Rank: C Poison Description: The Five Senses Confusion Disorder is a poison the Konoha's medical staff adopted from the wandering ninja of Moon Country. This special elixir is created from mixing yellow dragonfly wings with a exquisite plant called 'Gromaka' found in the outskirts of Kumogakure no Sato. Through a delicate mixture this powerful hallucinogenic poison is created. This poison alters the senses of the inflicted and causes them to hallucinate for the duration. Like standard poisons this enters the body by common means of ingestion, inhalation, absorption and direct contact to blood. This poison has no lethality, but what makes it special is its long duration. The effects of his poison lasts up to a maximum of four hours. Solid State: In the solid state the Yellow Dragonfly is a golden lustrous substance. It is highly malleable and about as dense as wood. It transitions to a liquid state by being heated, but it cannot go into a gaseous state from a solid. Liquid State: In the liquid state of the Yellow Dragonfly it has the appearance of honey. It is deep set gold and thick. It goes to its solid state by cooling, and goes into its gaseous state by becoming heated. Gaseous State: In the gaseous state of the Yellow Dragonfly, it has the appearance of a thing yellow mist. This is a very light mist that is easily dispersed and manipulated by common forces such as the wind. However, its direction can be determined by the way the user emits the gas (Ie; Poison Breath). In this state it can only transition to its liquid state by being cooled and collected in water. This mist moves in a odd fashion which can be only described as 'crawling'. It lurks on the ground and slithers as it moves. Poison Effect(s): Disrupts the senses and causes hallucinations. [ Post 0 / Turn of Infection/Injection] At this stage their are no physical symptoms as of yet. [ Post 2 / Effect] At this stage the inflicted senses are disrupted. Their vision becomes slightly blurry, their hearing becomes impaired and their movements become sluggish. This in turn causes them to miss occasionally as well as slows their reaction time, because of this the person will have a difficult time keeping up with the enemy because of these symptoms. [ Post 8/ Effect] At this stage the symptoms the person was undergoing from the first stage remains constant, with the added bonus of mental hallucinations. This in turn causes the inflicted to believe things that are not really there thoroughly the rest of the duration. They may believe enemies are attacking them from the sky, or even they are turning into a horrifying monster. The inflicted will slowly sink into a form of insanity because of this. [ Post 12/ Effect] The Poison neutralizes within the body, relieving the target of it's effects.
Poison Name: Chakra Virus Rank: B Poison Description: The Chakra Virus Poison is a poison developed by Konoha's medical facility which is actually a variant of the Chakra Virus. This is one of their most unique poisons created from the endangered Water Lily's in the swamps of Mist Village and dousing them with a diluted version of the Chakra Virus. This is a highly special poison for many reasons, one of which is because the poison has its own unique chakra network inside each of its particle's nucleus, and it being capable of siphoning the chakra from it's host. This is done by the molecules within the virus hooking their synthetic chakra network onto another and slowly leeching the chakra. But this poison has no dangerous qualities except for eating chakra. Solid State: A very uncommon state of the mixture that is non existent with the exception of its liquid state being somehow frozen. Liquid State: In the liquid state of the Chakra Suppression Poison it has the appearance and composition of light-blue water. When heated the liquid state of the poison transitions to its gaseous state. It produces no scent which makes it incapable of being inhaled. When ingested this poison immediately latches onto the chakra network in the chest area and spreads throughout the body. The same method applies for blood contact as well. Gaseous State: In the gaseous state of the Chakra Suppression Poison, it has the appearance of a thing light blue mist. This is a very light mist that is easily dispersed and manipulated by common forces such as the wind. However, its direction can be determined by the way the user emits the gas (Ie; Poison Breath). In this state it can only transition to its liquid state by condensation and collected in water. In the gaseous state people can become inflicted by the poison by inhalation and absorption of the skin. Poison Effect(s): Drains the Victims Chakra [ Post 1 / Turn of Infection/Injection/Continued Effects] At this stage their are no physical symptoms as of yet. During this the poison is beginning to make its way around the persons body while preparing to latch onto the person's chakra network. During each post after that the person loses 10CP for each of their posts until they are either cured or have only a few CP to sustain their survival. [ Post 8 / Effects] At this stage the target has now loss 40CP from their chakra pool and now feels fatigued. The poison is now neutralized in this post and the target is relieved of it's symptoms.
Poison Name: Anbu's Paralysis Poison Rank: A Poison Description: The Anbu's Paralysis Poison is the poison the renowned ANBU Operatives of Konohagakure use in order to quickly subdue their targets for caputure or even worse. This sinister poison was discovered to be a mixture of leaves from Konoha, hawks blood, and various other ingredients found in natural habitats of the village. Hierarcs in the Medical Unit are the sole creators of this poison, and they are free to use it within their own arsenal as well. This poison is a very powerful paralysis solution that is capable of dropping virtually anything in a matter of seconds. But the true horror of the poison is not in its effects, but the fact that its invisible to the eye. The Paralysis Poison is a clear gas mixture that is absolutely transparent in both its liquid and gaseous states. This makes it a perfect assassination tool as explains who the legendary Anbu were capable of downing platoons of Nin with relative ease. There is no method of curing the paralysis once its taken effect, the only way to avoid such a poison would be to simply outrun the gas if you noticed its been executed. A flaw in the poison is that in both its liquid and gaseous state it emits a low but noticable heat that can be felt by the enemy. A person with experience in this kind of sensation are easily warned that the Anbu's Paralysis Poison is lurking. Solid State: A very uncommon state of the mixture that is non existent with the exception of its liquid state being somehow frozen. Liquid State: The liquid state of the Anbu's Paralysis Poison is most commonly used for coating their weapons and tools. Its a clear fluid that has the same transparency as water but retains its gooey like thickness. It produces no scent nor does it have a taste. This characteristic makes it great for spiking a persons drink with the poison, for even the greatest Nin will not be able to detect it. When this solution reaches a certain temperature or is mixed with chakra it is immediately turned into its gaseous state. When in the liquid state the only means of it poisoning an organism is either through ingestion, absorption, or direct blood contact. When the liquid is ingested the person's torso area immediately takes the paralysis effects and it quickly spreads to the rest of the body. When absorbed, the area of absorption will take the effect and quickly then spread across the body and into the tissue. The liquid also emits a low but noticeable heat 2 that stretches 2 meters away from it. Gaseous State: The gaseous state of the Anbu's Paralysis Poison is its most dangerous and favorable form. It is a perfectly clear gas that completely blends in with the air. There are no discrepancies one could identify when searching for the poison mist because there simply aren't any. This unnoticeable gas is very light but it is somehow immune to directional changes to forces such as the wind. This implies that when launched nothing can change the direction of the gas but physical substances or special abilities. The gas travels very fast with a speed of twenty miles and hour and those caught within it do not even realize they've become poisoned by its affects. However, this poison gas is unable to pass through solid substances such as wood, rock, steel etc. A known weakness of the gas is that it doesn't last long when exposed to air, which makes it linger in its area only 2 posts before dispersing. Inhalation and absorption are the only means of becoming paralyzed by the gaseous state. If the gas comes in contact with your skin or tissue, the spot will instantly numb and become unable to move. From that area it will spread throughout the rest of your body instantly. The gas also emits a low but noticeable heat 2 meters away from it. Poison Effect(s): Instant Paralysis. [ Post 0 / Turn of Infection/Injection] Those in this state have become attacked by the poison. The very area in which the poison touched (ie arm or leg) will instantly go numb with the nerves reacting harshly to the changes. The person's infected limb will feel as though its being electrocuted but unable to move. This causes the limb to be unmovable and usually puts the person in a state of shock. [ Post 2 / Effect] The final and most treacherous stage of the paralysis where the poison begins to rapidly spread throughout the body. This can be either from the limb, or the gas reaching other parts of your body and causing you the same effect in all places. In this stage the entire body goes numb and they are unable to move even a finger. They are still able to process whats going on around them, but the capabilities of moving their body is out of the question. The inflicted will remain in this state for two posts.

Name: Fuukin Isou no Jutsu [Organ Transplant Technique]. Rank: B. Type: Medical Ninjutsu. Range: Close. Element: N/A. Description: Fuukin Isou no Jutsu is a habitual medical procedure performed by many medical specialists and experts within the field. It requires great surgical skill and physiological knowledge in order to perform safely. Utilizing this procedure, the medic can complete transplants between people such as eyes, hearts, kidneys etc. Performing this procedure takes much time even for the most skilled medics as well as absolute concentration. There are many applications in which the surgeory can be made depending on the circumstances of the procedure as well as the techniques. For incision purposes a medic may find it suitable to use a Chakra no Mesu, or to speed up the healing process a Shousen may be performed, or even the traditional methods may be performed. Chakra Cost: 15.
Name: Gishi no Sakuse [Artificial Limb Creation]. Rank: A. Type: Medical Ninjutsu. Range: Close. Element: N/A. Description: Gishi no Sakuse no Jutsu is a rare technique known by only a handful of medics for the mere purpose of treating those who have lost limbs. Only those with excellent chakra control and a natural skill in medical ninjutsu can even hope to perform such a delicate technique such as this. To start the procedure the medic will utilize a string of hand seals identical to that of the Shousen technique with the addition to the rabbit seal. Once completed the they will manifest a fine sphere of green chakra around their hands and place it on the area of the severed limb. Because of the concentration required by this technique, it is ideal to have a patient sitting still during the process. Piece by piece the medic will use their chakra to create an artificial limb for the patient by molding flesh from the severed area of the person's body. The pace of the creation is quite slow, taking approximatley ten minutes in order to do for most medics. Because the limb is essentially new, tattoos, markings and even muscular irregularities in the arm would be removed as a result. Chakra Cost: 20CP.
Name: Kuchiyose: Iryō chīmu [Summoning: Medical Squad] Rank: A. Type: Medical Ninjutsu Range: Close. Element: N/A. Description: Kuchiyose: Iryō chīmu is a exclusive summoning technique accessible to only Chief Medics. After forming your own personal medical unit under your ruling as Chief, you are now able to summon your subordinates into the field to aid you in healing. To call them onto the field the medic would conjure the summoning seal on a surface where their two medics will appear and report ready for duty. Each medic has a standard chakra capacity of 30CP, and are restricted to using only medical ninjutsu to treat allies. Because they are not combatant medics they can easily be killed by enemies so it's ideal to use them out of danger. However, because you gain three assistants in your healing, you can now heal multiple persons at one time, making this technique very useful on the field. Chakra Cost: 20CP
- Medic Nin Missions:
Mission Title: Hospital Assistance. Mission Type: Profession - Generic. Mission Location: Hospital. Shinobi Requirement: Must be a Medical Ninja. Mission Rank: C-A. Mission Objective: As a medical ninja you will receive assignments from the Medical Chief regularly on assisting patients within your village's hospital. It is your job to do so, whether it is administering medicine to actually healing with your medical ninjutsu. The rank of this mission is equivalent to the degree of injury your patient has sustained, so make sure you are capable of healing them properly.
Mission Title: Field Medic Assistance. Mission Type: Profession - Generic. Mission Location: Varies. Shinobi Requirement: Must be a Medical Ninja, Must have Medical Flak Jacket. Mission Rank: B-A. Mission Objective: As a combatant medic you will receive assignments from the Medical Chief regularly on assisting comrades within the field. It is your job to do so, whether its delivering medicine, healing, extracting poison etc. What's unique about being on the field is that you can now visit any of the minor nations to perform your duty, as well as enter other shinobi's missions if they require your medical assistance. The rank of this mission is equivalent to your rank as a shinobi, which is also equivalent to the degree of injury your patient has sustained to make sure you are capable of healing them properly.
- Black Jack Doctor Missions:
Mission Title: Backdoor Doctor. Mission Type: Profession - Generic. Mission Location: Anywhere. Shinobi Requirement: Must be a Black Jack. Mission Rank: C-A. Mission Objective: Sometimes, one simply can't go the the hospital. Too many questions asked about how and where one acquired their wounds, or else too many enemies who'd pounce on any sign of weakness. As such, they need an individual who is willing to come to them, and who can keep things quiet, if paid well enough. The mission rank is equivalent to the injury that requires healing, so don't overstretch yourself.
Mission Title: Organ Harvest. Mission Type: Profession - Generic. Mission Location: Varies. Shinobi Requirement: Must be a Black Jack, Must have Medical Flak Jacket. Mission Rank: C-A. Mission Objective: Sometimes, those organ donor waiting lists just seem so long, and some people are willing to pay any price to jump ahead in the game. Enter the Black Jack; you know a client who is willing to pay greatly for a new organ of some sort or another. All you need to do is find a suitable donor, and ensure they no longer need said organ. The mission rank depends on the difficulty of acquiring said organ. Sometimes it's a walk in the park, sometimes the target needs to be messily forced into an accident. Take care and prepare accordingly.
