PostSubject: Nukenin Ding Dong Ditch?!?! Nukenin Ding Dong Ditch?!?! EmptyTue 21 Jun 2011, 10:21 pm

Tennuyan crouched around the variously spotted tree line near Konohagakure. He was gonna play a little prank on them just to get his name out there. He smirked to himself and he readied his explosive tags. He performed his hand signs and shot himself into the earth and sailed towards the gate. He popped up in a very well hidden area and place one explosive tag, performed his hand signs, and dropped back in the ground. He listened intently to see if anyone said anything about noticing something. he didn't hear anything so he shot to the other side of the gate, and popped up and placed an explosive tag. He performed his hand signs and shot into the ground towards the forest.

He looked over and activated the explosive tags. He performed his hand signals and dove into the ground and shot out as far as he could. He then created a clay bird and told it to search the forest for follows and the explode when you attack them. The Bird flew up and out and Tennuyan waited for it to come back.

-Posting as NPC guards for the topic-

Spoiler:

It was a late night, and a long one. The usual routine of shinobi were out patrolling the top of the gates, doing their usual job of guarding the village from anyone who might try to make a move, any move. What they would possibly try, some were skeptical about, and others naive. It was a usual routine that most of them were used to, and with that, most were used to inactivity. Some figured nothing would ever happen, but it would seem as though they would be wrong tonight. Even if it were a practical joke of sorts, it was a serious act that would forever change the opinions of most of them. Among them were 3 Chuunin and 2 Jounin. Most of the Chuunin saw this as a bore, and would rather be sleeping. The two Jounin however, knew how things could go. One of these Chuunin was something of a new recruit, Takashi. This was his first night guarding the gate, and he wasn't sure if he should be excited or bored. Among the Jounin was Takashi's sensei, Kimiko. She had recommended him to join the guard team after becoming Chuunin. Whether he was grateful of this or not was unknown even to him.

The two exchanged a few but little words, as they had to remain alert. This would turn out to be crucial that night, as something was most certainly going to happen. Takashi himself was primarily an Earth user, and he had always had a deep connection with the earth, and standing up on the tall concrete walls felt foreign to him, and he tried to keep a connection with the earth not too far below him. As it turned out, he was distracted, and looking straight down at the ground in a daze almost, dreaming of setting foot on it again. He saw something move in the earth, but in a moment it was gone. He ran over to Kimiko to voice his concern. "Kimiko, I think I saw something by the front of the gate...but it disappeared..." he said to her. She nodded in return and said she would take a quick look.

Kimiko jumped down in front of the gate to see an explosive tag. In an instant she was alert, seeing the explosion just before it happened. She called out at the top of her lungs to those on the gates. "EVERYONE LOOK OUT!" Just after saying this, she whipped out a scroll, wrote a few notes on it, and performed a few hand signs. Not a second after she did so, the explosion knocked her on her back. The scroll released a gas that attempted to contain the explosion as much as it could, though not a whole lot could be done. At about the same time, Takashi jumped onto the ground beside her to make sure she was alright. She coughed, alright, but damaged. "Check the village! Make sure they are alright!" However she had to say nothing, as the remaining Chuunin and Jounin were already scouring the village to see if the infiltrator was in the village. Takashi was about to go himself when he felt something in the earth, moving away. "I-I think they're leaving!" he said. Without wasting much time, Kimiko did what little she could and pointed him in the right direction. Soon afterwards, Takashi made a few handsigns and doved into the ground, racing in that direction as quickly as possible.

He went in that direction until he thought he felt someone nearby or overhead. Upon this, he would pop out of the ground, hopefully near the attacker as for some reason it seemed as though he had come out of the ground. Back near the gate, Kimiko would have seen a clay bird flying over head, though why she would not know. Upon exiting the ground before the man, he would command with as much courage as he could muster, "You there! Stop!" That is...that was his planned, if he managed to even find the man. If not, he would continue searching until he did.

Tennuyan smirked. "I see you noticed my work on the door. I want you to know that Tennuyan Haretsu was the cause of this." His bird dove in from behind and Tennuyan dropped hand signs and dove into the earth and activated the bird when it got closer to the back of the Chuunin. He shot forward and shot out of the ground and spun to see if the Chuunin was still there. He formed clay snakes and sent them to slither through the grass towards him.

Tennuyan performed his hand signs and inhaled. As he did so he pulled his Windmill Shuriken and exhaled, coating it with fire. He threw it at the chuunin, and ripped it back hoping to catch him twice, but at least once. He punched the ground and cause pillars to shoot up from the ground attempting to skewer the chuunin, And after he punched the ground he moved in a circular motion and picked up a rock, turned it into a spear and threw it at the chuunin, then punched the ground again, causing a wall to rise in front of Tennuyan and he was prepared to drop into the earth if things went bad.

Nukenin Ding Dong Ditch?!?! Vide
PostSubject: Re: Nukenin Ding Dong Ditch?!?! Nukenin Ding Dong Ditch?!?! EmptyWed 22 Jun 2011, 4:19 am

The man spoke after being confronted, but he took no heed to the Chuunin's warning, and instead only taunted with his own name. Did he mean the whole point of blowing up the gates was to make a name for himself one way or another? That annoyed Takashi greatly, though he didn't have time to do anything. Just after speaking he dove back into the ground. As he did so, Takashi turned around to see a large clay bird coming down on him. After spinning around, he quickly made a few handseals, and from the ground appeared a large wall sprouting straight up into the air. This wall intercepted the bird, so therefor its explosion did nothing to him except throw a few heatwaves into his face, something he couldn't admit liking very much. Next, he could tell the attacker had reappeared on the other side of the wall just by the vibrations in the earth. This was lucky, as he was unable to feel where exactly he was going while moving underground. It was only upon coming up and going down that he could tell the difference. He hoped it was the same thing for this man, or his plan wouldn't work. He quickly made a second wall to create more cover as it was soon bombarded by more attacks and efforts to get around it or through it.

He figured the man would use both frontal assaults to directly take down the wall, as well as things that could get around them. He hoped they were ground based though, for his plan to be completely effective. He summoned a basic clone next to him, still concealed, and had it hang from halfway up the earthen walls. Here, he commanded the clone to make sounds of being in pain whenever he saw something that could be harmful come around the walls and attempt to attack him. At the same time, he dived back into the ground and raced to go behind the man. While he was underground, he unsheathed a sword on his back, but switched the side of use to the blunt side. He wasn't trying to kill this man, but possibly capture him. He positioned himself underground and just behind the man and got ready to strike. At the exact same time as he summoned the earthen wall up to protect himself from a frontal assault, Takashi burst from the ground underneath and behind him, his sword in the air first. With the force of his ascension and the direction, his attack was to have the blunt end of his sword smack with high velocity right between the man's legs. Again, he came out of the ground to do this with speed, and at the same time as the wall he summoned, meaning he should have been distracted or otherwise occupied. At any rate, he hoped the attack was unexpected and therefor a surprise. If this attack hit, he would quickly spin in the air in order to deliver another kick into the man's spine and have him fly into the wall he created. If he missed completely, he would simply linger in the air a minute before retreating back into the ground.

Meanwhile, Kimiko had recovered from the blast of the Explosive Tag. The seal she created did a decent job, thought it wasn't enough to completely prevent it. The gate wasn't in too good shape, but it was still intact. Two explosive tags were not enough to completely take it down, but a good amount of damage could be seen. Specifically, the area where the tags were placed had seen some pretty bad scrapes. They had actually punched a hole through it, though it wasn't too big, but the surrounding wood was also scorched and chipped. Kimiko stood up with a huff, brushing the shrapnel off of her and sighing. A Chuunin returned to her and said that they had found no signs of infiltration since the attack, but that the other two were still searching. Kimiko nodded, but at about that point, she turned to see the clay bird divebomb into the trees and give off an explosion. She gasped and called out, "Takashi!" She turned back to face the Chuunin before speaking again. "You stay here and guard the gate, I'm going to investigate." The Chuunin nodded, gave a quick 'Yes Ma'am' and Kimiko set off. She wasn't able to move as fast as Takashi through the ground, but she would get there soon enough.

Tennuyan got hit by the chuunin when he rose from the ground but tennuyan dove before the chuunin came back down. He activated his snakes to blow up the chuunin's wall, and then dropped Clay Spiders at his feet. He figured he would activate them as soon as the chuunin went under, and he shot up on the other side of his wall. If the chuunin was above ground, He would throw his Windmill shurkien at him, still with the string on it. If the chuunin was below ground, He would activate his clay spiders.

If his windmill shuriken made contact he was going to breath fire along the cord to try to harm the chuunin further, if the chuunin was still below ground, He was going to summon his clones, prepare to replace himself, and to shoot into the ground hoping to drag the chuunin into the ground. He knew the chuunin used earth jutsu, and he was just going to have to try to be one step ahead.

Takashi's attack was a success, but while attempting to get a second hit in, his plan changed a bit. The man did something he didn't really expect, and jumped back into the ground, despite his sword still being between his legs. He got away, and by doing so, caused Takashi to spin in the air rather quickly, but also keeping him suspended for a bit longer. While he was spinning this way, he made a few handsigns. When he was done, he extended his legs so that his feet were touching the earth wall, and caught himself there, not falling to the ground. Just after doing this, he forced a large volume of sticky liquid from his gullet, quickly spreading over an area of about 20 square meters, and hopefully capturing the attacker wherever he was. This field not only covered a large volume, but also completely overwhelmed the spiders and nullified any explosion they might make or might have made. He had avoided that attack, and was now ready to focus on what to do next.

Before long, a giant windmill shuriken came spinning around the wall at such an angle that told him that the enemy was just behind the wall he was now standing on. He quickly summoned a water clone on the wall as well, which promptly grabbed his arms and flinged him over the wall at an angle, causing him to fly up and over it. The clone was destroyed by the shuriken, but Takashi had gone over the wall just barely, sword drawn. He now switched to the bladed side, and prepared to make a downward slice as he came over the wall, though only at the enemies' arm, hoping to disarm rather than directly kill. If he missed, or even if he didn't, he would be sure when he hit the starch that was no doubt there, he would be sure to roll into it and use chakra to keep himself hovering above. If he was not there at all, he would have to look around for him and stay alert for anything coming at him. He was also prepared to deal with some form of trap that might be on the other side of the wall. He only hoped that the starch had caught him at just about the time he threw the shuriken, binding him there. By doing so, he wouldn't have been able to use substitution to get away.

Tennuyan shifted his body to the side to avoid the blade if he could, but when he did the blade made a small cut in his arm. "Gah! Damnit! Jim, Tina, it's your turn to shine!" As his chakra stretched out into a long string and the Nukenin's puppets came into reality. As soon as the appeared, Tennuyan sent them after the chuunin, and Jim began stabbing, slashing, and hacking at the chuunin, while Tina ran forward and continuously stabbed with her spear heads. This was his last hope to kill the chuunin, if he couldn't he had to retreat. He had no option.

Tennuyan prepared for the worst. He wasn't going to die here, no matter what it took. Even if he had to flee, he would. He couldn't leave Rysa, he could leave Midara alive, He couldn't leave those murderers still alive, he couldn't leave Konoha standing for this. He could feel himself being drained, so he knew it was now or never. "Jim, Tina, GIVE IT YOUR ALL!" The puppets began attacking much faster. Anything to help their master. Tennuyan was prepared that if the jounin showed up, to drop into the earth and take off, going as far and as fast as he can. He would move in zigzags and do his best to avoid the pursuers. He would eventually head home after this little adventure. Tennuyan noticed the man floating on the muck and figured it must have had to do with the chuunin's foot chakra. He focused his chakra to his feet and yelled, "Jim pull me out!" Tina continued to attack the chuunin and Jim lifted tennuyan into the air. He threw tennuyan away from the muck and to regular land, and Tennuyan dove into the ground like it was a swimming pool. He shot straight down for a few minutes and then shot out towards his cottage. Losing these people was the first thing he needed to worry about.

Takashi rolled onto the syrup, though by expelling his own chakra, he was able to hover above it rather than get caught in it himself. He had managed to make a small cut on the man's hand, as he turned to the side in order to dodge, but he was close now. The end was nigh. He finished rolled, sword in hand. He was starting to say something, all he had to do was make a quick clean swipe with his sword, and would cut his legs out from under him. After that, it would be over, and the man could be captured. His hand tightened, and he went to make the strike but...his body froze up. It wouldn't move, he couldn't make the attack, he couldn't cut him down. He stayed frozen on the ground for so long until the many finally finished speaking, and in the air appeared two puppets. Now, he was able to move again, and had to jump back in order to dodge their lethal strikes. They moved fast so he had to move faster, continuing to move back and back and back. This was not good, he was going to let him get away! And all because he couldn't make himself deliver the final blow! His first important fight, and this is what happened. It was fine though, he was stuck and hopefully Kimiko would be there any second to capture him with her fuuinjutsu.

He took the time while moving away and dodging the puppet attacks to throw various projectiles at the man, but as it turned out, he called one of the puppets back which then blocked them. He saw what was happening, and as such tired to charge. He stood on the side of a tree for a moment as the puppet still following him came over, and when it got close enough, he jumped off the tree and over the puppet towards the man, sword drawn. But it was to late. By the time he got there, the man was free and was catapulted far off into the distance. By the time he recovered from his miss, still not touching the syrup, the man was out of site. Takashi imagined he used the jutsu to travel in the earth, so it was now impossible to follow him. He let out an aggravated sigh just as Kimiko landed beside him. She looked at the scene around her, the remnants of their fight, and gave out a highpitched whistle. "He got away Kimiko..." he said lowly, and in response, she placed a gentle hand on his shoulder. "Its alright Takashi, nobody got hurt." While her words were comforting, she hardly heard them. He knew the only reason that man got away to make more havoc in the future was because he couldn't make the final blow. He made a resolve to strengthen himself in that moment just before the two of them turned to return to the village for the night.
