Denaya walked to the training grounds about midday. It was a bit warm but she could tell it was getting cooler. Today she wished to learn how to fire her crystals off her wrist. She walked towards a tree and stood a decent distance away from the tree. She created her crystal and performed hand signs that she knew were meant to propel something forward. She focused and it broke off her wrist and rolled downwards. She tried again and got the same result. 'Hmmm, perhaps I'm doing the hand signs wrong. I must be getting close if it keeps breaking off...' She changed the hand signs up a bit and got no result. She tried the original hand signs and focused a bit harder and added an extra hand sign into it. It shot forward a bit and landed quickly into the ground.

She got slightly aggravated but figured this was better than nothing. She performed the hand signs once again and focused harder. It shot forward but this time it stuck in the tree. She shook her head, 'That's no good. It's not supposed to do that. It's supposed to shoot through it.' She focused again, performed the hand signs and fired again. It stuck in the tree once again. She grunted and focused once more and this time it shot through the tree. She smirked, and did it once more. It tore through the trunk once again and she smiled again. She then turned around to leave and head home at sunset.
